  • 20061014-Midas Sermon

Evening mass was greeted by an unexpected attendance by both Brat and Twit. As usual, Brat barraged us with questions for not receiving phone calls regarding the deceased parakeet, BooBoo. We have learned not to call Brat anymore because he doesn`t answer his phone. As a matter of fact, both were in Santa Cruz.

Twit didn`t know when to shut-up either and I may have rolled my eyeballs at her to stop her from talking since we were inside the church; sitting in the pews; and trying to worship the `Lord.` Twit looked pissed during the whole time but that`s too bad!

I suppose the Chinese bio-units in front of us had kids and their presence showed Twit she could have kids of her own by now if Brat stepped up and intended to marry her and if she were interested in becoming Catholics, too. I do not understand what a non-denominational wedding is.

In my opinion, she should have `respected` her culture in the first place and do her bio-units and herself a favor by dating, living and ultimately marrying someone of her own kind – similar language, religious background and Americanized interests. We rarely talk to each other and primarily because Brat refuses to allow interaction between Twit and us.

Brat blocked her view from me and I could not greet her`peace be with you`, which was said after the mass and outside the church instead. I believe he didn`t say the same to my bio-units. And this tells you right there how the relationship has soured.

The difference between her being Buddhist and we being Catholics are obvious. This in and of itself proves to me (at least for now) how we could never get along. Air-heads in love do belong to each other even if it means spending their own money on self-seeking pleasures.

I`ve learned that money (or lots of this illusion which is backed by gold standards that no longer exist in our Americanized vaults, for example) is not meant for all people and should not be considered a sin in the eyes of the`almighty`. The story of the gold touch by Midas in the evening sermon was preached by the very old and balding Filipino priest with white hair.

People worshiping the means for possession via materialism are slaves to this illusion. We were programmed as children to work hard for the money to the point of debt. To live without money means to loose the basic necessities of food, clothing and shelter. And this tightens the grip of debt especially to both the poor and middle class.

We are driven to be socially programmed to keep the peace (both at work and at home) by doing as we are told without putting up much of a fight. The silence is further exemplified by voting for whomever or whatever `propositions` would provide the `democracy` for hard working people. So why should we bother voting when the average person doesn`t have time to read or understand these data?

But we all know that the language or wordings on any voting or constitutional document made by these some folks would always change to suit the wealthy elite. The wealthy also are slaves to the system because in order to keep their bank accounts from being frozen, they too have to do their jobs by keeping silent or at least relay some half truths to keep the ignorant somewhat clueless.

The recent rash of celebrities or well-known folks are trying to present their versions of the truth by adopting poor babies, by donating billions to charitable organizations or by making noise with concerts for political reasons. But have you noticed that they are still rich because they are doing what everyone else wants – images of ego via material goods or intellectual services?

I believe the Americanized `government` is not democratic but more republics with federalism more than communism as the social ideal. That is why big-brother has mounted more cameras on almost every street, store and at work – to keep the troublemakers from causing too much noise. That is why identification is important for each Americanized `citizen` – to monitor the economic status of each hard working slave unit.

I am not slave unit nor are my co-workers! Why do you think I still work at `Ex-Ball`? This is because I have an ego driven by greed – brouhaha. I could be violent like others for want out of the need to possess better clothes, finer food or bigger houses. But I choose to keep the peace by being silence. My co-workers do not understand why I am such a fluffy b!tch because I could blow my whistle.

I too am programmed not to argue with upper management because the system at my current work has survived no matter how wrong the procedures or polices are perceived by me or by both internal and external auditors. This helps to keep the peace but at my expense. My frustration mounts as my declining health for working long hours in front of the computer daily.

I believe this is why certain individuals in our own government are silent because they too are aware that a higher system controls their actions and speeches. Maybe this could explain why our `elected` leader continues to barrage us with the war on terror or why some continue to have the likes of `folly` as co-workers.

I`m tired of these fear tactics and want to fight for the truth. Sorry, I`m off the tangent again. But basically, worshiping the money god or having the wealth meant for the elite are not all too bad as long as those in need have their fare share. Like Midas, one could loose humanity`s asset to understand with compassion by selling or leasing one`s soul.

But as the sermon mentioned, those who consider themselves Midas must share to those in need – those who are out of the current system of economic debt and an economic assets as a slaves. Sharing is by no means an ego by being an angle, a saint or a martyr but knowing that love knows no bound to those who truly hit rock bottom and not to those who only know good times.

P.S. For example, if something is too good to be true, be careful. This is especially true when wishing upon a star; hoping everything your heart desires will come true and being no different from the rest.

My experience indicates the following scenario: the hook is the promise and assurance for every possibility, the [very long] line is the eternity to the unknown and the sinker is to be the slave to the master.

Does this mean the various religious; socio-economic and political systems will never be the same? You bet! [ET phone home!]

  • 20061012-BooBoo Better

Please provide a prayerful boost for the sickly parakeet named BooBoo. She is a little over three (3) years old and has been admitted to the bird hospital near the 85 and for the night. The attached photo is dated 24-March-2005.

Maw had called me around 01:55PM at my work phone. She told me that BooBoo’s feet looked blue and swollen. So I logged off from the computer and told the boss that I had an emergency with one of the parakeet, who may have a broken leg.

I left the building around 02:00PM and arrived at home thirty minutes later. The skies had wispy clouds again. I did see her legs were discolored and found her leaning most of her weight to her left side upon the water container.

I quickly got the carrier cage from the garage; put at least on perch for her and a seed cup, which I knew she wouldn’t touch though Maw insisted to have the container inside the cage. I hollered at Paw to get ready to accompany the both of us to the hospital.

After a couple of phone calls, I found one that had a physician available. The first one was nearby but the doctor wouldn’t be in until the 16th of this month. As I spoke to an Erin, I searched for the address online and printed my map.

The map didn’t help because part of the street was cut off from printing. I knew I had to exit ‘right’ but didn’t realize we were headed north and in the wrong direction as pointed out by Paw. So with one U-turn from one end and another near the 85, we arrived at 03:15PM.

I heard the bird went on the floor during the ride because the horrible suspension and braking system of this car was very rough over northbound 280. And sure enough when I removed the birdcage from behind the seat of driver’s side, she was flat on the floor of the carrier cage.

I got out hurriedly and both of us went into the Suite C instead of the Suite D in error. I used my big brain and logically followed an arrow-like sign of a bird pointing to the right side of the building. The side door did not have any markings to show this was the place.

But as I peered inside and past the windows, I saw this had to be the place. There was a large bird cage containing three male budgies and they were big boys! I happen to love boys because they are much friendlier and don’t bite and hard as the females when grabbing for treatment is needed.

We filled out the front and back sides of this paper and the bird with its cage was brought in the back for assessment by the physician. The place was clean enough as we waited for no more than five minutes and during which time I went back to talk to the three male budgies. Good boys!

The doctor came out and explained what could be wrong and the assistant lead us back to further discuss the treatment for the brat, I meant, the bird. We found out that she had a big tummy that wasn’t supposed to be there.

There could be the possibility of liver disease due to the diet of mostly seed; low infection or hormonal. The doctor saw her cere, which is the waxy part of the nostril, was too big and there were bruising both on her beak and toenails.

During the interview, the doctor wanted to understand our philosophy about treating the bird. I explained that based on our technology we should intervene and provide whatever comfort for the distressed bird.

BooBoo was in distress from her obvious panting. The first estimate was affordable and we got an X-ray done on her to find that the bones lack sufficient calcium. The second one involved more testing – one was the draining of excess fluid from her tummy based on the X-ray.

As the assistant held the bird in the wrapped towel, I observed the head of the bird jolted as the sign of the needle making its way to allow the swelling of said tummy to relieve the diaphragm, which seemed to have prevented BooBoo from inhaling enough oxygen.

Her oxygen level was at approximately 35%, which was below the normal 50%. And the doctor provided a before and after sample, which showed both dark and the normal pink color, by snipping a piece of the toenail. Then a yellow powder was applied to stop the flow of blood.

The incubator and oxygen tank helped to comfort BooBoo for one night’s stay at the hospital. And I received a phone call from the doctor at 07:00PM but had my cellphone turned off while both Maw and I visited ‘Squirrel-Ling,’ who is alone at his home again; while Twit is out buying presents for another wedding and at night (as usual – sheesh).

[My opinion is for a couple to be together no matter what. I told Brat to ‘spy’ on her and find out really what she is up to. She could be caring for her bum brother during her nights out almost everyday; since they bought a house together.]

The cost of treatment didn’t matter to us. As long as the breath of life flowed through our little BooBoo, we were willing to make her live as long as she wants. The estimate total is close to the crown I still have to get done.

So far I’ve bounced two checks and gotten another voicemail message earlier this morning for help by those ‘Morons’. But of course our BooBoo has been the priority of today. None would help me. None would help BooBoo. With proper perspective of being alone, I have decided that none could help us except ourselves.

P.S. The Bible thumpers should read well: Owe none! And the flow will happen, I swear!!! But according to my ‘watcher’ by association at work, he told me during lunchtime that I should not want too much of anything. I learned that all that we need has already been provided.

  • 20061010-Bible Thumpers

Aaaiiieee! There are Bible thumpers at work! I hate when people preach to me and in my face about their faith and belief. I sincerely do not dislike these hard workers for trying their best to sway my worldview about religion. But I’ve had enough self education to know better of my tolerance for further influence.

I will, however, hear them out because they should be at least given a chance to hold onto their hopes in this manner while living in this harsh world. I noticed that their glazed over eyes cannot hide their past history no matter how much their religion may have provided them a fresh start from their bad choices in life.

I am not into charity and definitely cannot give them a penny to add to their hard earned hit points. This is no way to enter heaven! Neither is sitting with a bunch of strangers and pretending to enjoy their blow holes flapping their hot air into my congested ears holes. I have actually snored through one sermon. [My bad!]

I refuse to be encouraged or invited into their boxes. I especially refuse to let those Jehovah Witnesses or Mormons, who knock at my door to be let inside my house box, too. For whatever reasons, they would visit our house but not other neighboring houses. Once again, I will have to write my long head letters to remove our address from their lists.

In reality, these groups are to be pitied for being ‘saved’ from their humanity. I cannot believe certain people continue to hold onto every freaking words printed on black and white, especially the Bible. The words have been written eons ago by old farts, who may have deleted (burned) some vital passages or modified (plagiarized) some text to suit their needs.

I love any knowledge widely available and there are other printed materials, such as the Torah and the Koran, to help balance my understanding of why religious groups preach too much. If people study the history of their religion, that could help them understand why there are so many versions of the same truth.

For the most part, I have been born and raised Catholic in a Filipino family. Before the Spaniards came over and coughed into the faces of the Filipinos about their better version of worshiping, there was peace with nature. Now there is greed and pollution.

Gee! I wondered what happened along the way. Surely, the contamination was not radiation in this sense but the pollution of the truth, which is the harmony without the garbage of fear to be saved or the sacrifice to work hard but to know that the almighty has always existed, even prior to the building of the Egyptian pyramids.

P.S. Allelujah! You’re saved! Now shut up and get back to work!

  • 20061001-Sunday Morning

The current time is 09:00AM and we have arrived from morning mass and Sunday breakfast. I’ve logged online and read my usual dose of articles from my favorite websites and of course this activity makes me think too much. One website seems to be down for the past few days. Hmmm.

So I heard Paw walk twice upstairs and knock three times in two rhythmic sets on my bedroom door of ‘tock, tock, tock.’ Of course, I said sleepily, ‘No!’ Then at 06:43AM, I heard the same rhythmic knocks again from downstairs and in ten minutes I found myself waiting in the car on the driveway and had the heater turned on.

After two minutes of waiting for my parents, we headed to church and drove over the freshly oiled avenue. The crunchy sounds of little pellets were heard hitting the underneath of the car as I made my way to the very end before exiting to another road.

So there we were sitting in the mass and the sermon was said by a very old Filipino priest. His sermon is long-winded and almost academic. For whatever reason, he mentioned the story regarding Ben Hur. I have not read the novel and have yet to get my grubby hands on a nice copy soon (and possibly sometime this week).

The priest described something about Ben wanting his freedom and something about water as the gift of life. I did not ‘nap’ with my eyes closed during this particular sermon out of boredom and sleepiness from being awake too early from my normal time in the morning. All I got out of this sermon was to understand; be patient and find any shred of humanity left.

Breakfast was scrambled eggs, fried rice, tosino (fried pork strip) and longanisa (fried pork sausage). Atchara, which is sweetened pickled veggies to help to digest the meal, was included. Now we are off of walk in the mall, pick up the two sharpened knives and get my gel mouse pad. Paw knocked on the wall and it’s time to go. Bye for now. 09:18AM.

  • 20060928-Daily Diary

Don’t get me wrong. Everyone has a chance to discover their own realities and find their own deity, if any.

I don’t care if you believe in God, Allah, Abraham, Ibrahim, Buddha, Krisha, Brahma, Shiva, et cetera…

  • 20060922-Basic Ten

    Perfect – the only one.
Not the earth, moon or sun.
    Not someone with a name.
    No money and no fame.
    No mother or father.
    No friends or brother.
    Not lonely without mood.
    Not hungry won’t steal food.
See, say and hear no bad.
No more fear or get mad.

A poem of ten lines with six syllables in abab pattern.

  • 20060921-Ahem People

    God
    is above
    all else – below.
    Love is everywhere.

Ahem, people! With all the media broadcasting the nice speeches made by peace preachers, freedom loving, safety concerned and name calling citizens of the world, where are the nations of Russia and China? Shouldn’t they also be concerned for the affairs of the two towering brothers in Christ and in Muslim?

Why must they fight amongst themselves? Stop the noise and get down to business! My patience is running quite thin. Silence is golden.

  • 20060921-Only One

    God
    is One.
    As above
    and as below,
    Love is everywhere.
    The noise and chaos stop.
All that once was is now passed.
All that will be is yet unknown.
    Each of us is interconnected.
Each of us is a vibration of his love.

  • 20060919-Fishy Fools

Um, hey look here people. If the ‘head hunters’ want the ‘fish head’ to offer an apology to the highest number of believers in this particular religion, there won’t be anything past a sincere sorry by him at this point and probably for good reason.

Do you all remember certain groups of the extreme ideals in Afghanistan for the defacement the giant stone images of the Enlightened One, who came to this planet in the form of an Asian human? I think these folks (and followers of these pursuits) should be the one to apologize first instead for claiming that their ‘God’ is contrary to their belief in that country or region.

This shows that these certain groups are capable of offending non-members and members alike for following the Enlightened One by destroying the 1500 year of statues back in 2001. Who are they to demand more from the ‘fish head’ now? I am surprised at the melee of being done in this fashion and it seems to work.

Something is not right here. Can’t you all see what these groups are trying to do? They are trying to allow the minions to understand that being pigeon-holed into any religious organizations if not entirely healthy because once again using the ‘Almighty’ in vain is a serious ‘sin’, if you will.

  • 20060918-Supreme Brother

    Hello my brothers:

I should believe in a Supreme Being but I know there are more than meets the One-Eye. I already have encountered ‘people,’ who are losing their guise as humans from the looks in their eyes. Some do not sound human too.

I do not understand my purpose and how you all came to find me. Perhaps, these ‘people’ have always known I would come to know them not as strangers (at first) but as friends or teachers. The worse would always try to lead me astray and my anger is further justified for not knowing better or fast enough.

I do not know why I should continue my endless reading and researching for data and the pieces of the puzzles that could help me understand the unanswered questions. There are many hints along the way to guide me towards that elusive fruit of knowledge. But the effort is not at all tiring but hard work nonetheless.

I have always been curious for the better part of my life – always looking through the eyes of a dense person. There is so much more to explore and so far I’ve only gotten a glimpse of what could be better days for ‘normal’ folks. Unfortunately, I’m weird and could never go back to the normalcy of the rewards systems for ‘wage-earners.’

Okay, people. Hey, I’m trying to sound intellectual from the few paragraphs above. All I could share in this particular blog is my involvement with Masons. I do not know how my whole time/space continuum got warped in the brotherhood’s mess. So far, I could only giggle and wonder to myself if I really belong to this (or these) group(s), since I’m female.

I do not know which side of the see-saw in the playground I belong and do not care in the least. I know there are out-worldly beings etched into my conscious state; on my shiny forehead; and in my dream scape, which has been since childhood. My stories have been relayed to the best of my ‘knowledge’ and personal experiences. And none believes me except me.

None in my family is Masons; since we are born and raised as Catholics, which is the primary religion for most Filipinos. (Duh!) I only know of one relative who is ‘Sonic Mom’ and he tried to get Paw to join. I do not know much about ‘Shiva-Paw’s’ side and he does not say too much either. (Hmmm).

With due respect, I would like to know what is happening overall and mostly with me. I recall being asked the age of my grandmother and the stupid part of me didn’t understand what that question meant years ago. All I know is that some people are quite intelligent and know other people. But I highly doubt they know anything about making great stone monuments by their own hands nowadays.

P.S. This blog is by no means an attempt to sway my public to switch their religion, if any. As a matter of fact, I expect everyone not to have a religion. The dogmas in any one religious organization are quite boring, confusing and altogether not necessary to people who choose to sleep during the drooling episodes of mouth pieces babbling their truths. And, yes, some are indeed Latter Day Saints, sweetie.

  • 20060903-Polygamist Plot

In recent news and around the JBR event, we now have the exposure of a polygamist who claims to be a prophet, a God on earth, if you will. He is supposed to be leader of a group and married to many wives. Once again, it is not nice to use the ‘Almighty’ in vain. I cannot believe the followers live under one person’s belief system and not know if there is something wrong.

Now, honestly, is ‘free-love’ or any form of love illegal by the standards of man-made laws of the land? If we truly share some DNA with the primates of the animal kingdom, for example, I see a similarity of one male having many females. But surely as evolved humans with ability of compassion and love, we should not have to take this group mentality of sharing each other to that extreme, especially when children are forced to do things against their will.

Personally, I am a jealous and possessive person. I believe in a ‘normal’ marriage of one husband and one wife. If I were to get married to my one husband, I would try to fight and keep him from straying too far from marrying multiple times. But out of ‘true’ love, I would have to let my beloved go and be free to choose his own path. In this case, I would file for a divorce immediately. Duh!

Sometimes the previous example would hurt, really. And I do not know any divorce person who has not been affected in some ways. It’s like any parent trying to enforce good behavior into their children only to realize that each child is different and may not always reciprocate the parents’ love as expected.

So anyone who would follow blindly and not listen to their own inner guidance is up for the challenge of letting people know what goes on behind closed doors. No one should be stuck in any religious organization that does not make sense to them or continue to live miserably in a playground of bullies that take lunch monies, for example, either. Phooey!

P.S. If I am opinionated, this is all me and much more. (Two finger snaps in the air!)

  • 20060828-Told You

See? I told you my personal feeling was that the surprising presentation of the alleged suspect for the `JBR` issue was not the right one. People should use forensic evidence to make sure that even the alleged guilty ones are not to be mistakenly accused. The blood of your brother (or sister) calls out from the ground. Duh!

It is not nice to `bearing false witness against your neighbors either.` We should not be too hasty or too creative with making up stories as did the media recently and allow the science folks to their jobs thoroughly. Please continue to do everyone justice and find out why `JBR`, like so many others, had to suffer such a terrible fate.

P.S. My feeling is that my online `husband` called `J@ck B!ll*` of Florida, whom I still `love no matter what happens` is not dead by the hands of some captors in that OIL-RICH, yet poverty-stricken country, which is located due south of the UK. I am reminded of Australia`s O.N. John`s missing boyfriend. If guys wish to disappear by death, this shows these types of persons are not meant for us women. Gosh darn it!
