  • 20030507-Humor Time

Here is an email dated 05/07/2003 and forwarded from a friend:

A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He has been checking her out since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her.

Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out of its socket towards him.

He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air, and gently hands it back.

“Oh my, I am so sorry,” the woman says as she pops her eye back in place.

“Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you,” she says.

They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they go to the theater followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and he shares his. She listens.

After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap ……… and stay for breakfast.

They had a wonderful, wonderful time.

The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings.

The young man is amazed!! Everything had been SO incredible!!!!

“You know,” he said, “you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet?”

“No,” she replies………”  She says :  “You just happened to catch my eye.”

(oh shut up, I just forward them, I don’t write them!)

  • 20100208-Keep Praying

Maw finally finished talking to the Bitter one for the past two hours starting at around 20:00pm tonight. In summary of Maw’s brief conversation with the impatient moi, I’ve learned the following:

`When in doubt or distress, don’t loose faith. It’s God’s will but ask Jesus for help. When you don’t have the time and money, there is always prayers`.

I am then reminded of the boy’s lack of faith and continued arrogance within earshot of the Lord, of course, as in the following dialogue exchange below:

Maw: Son, I notice you don’t attend weekly mass.

Boy: Don’t test my faith in God!

He makes all sorts of excuses and externalizes his inner demons by blaming the crowds, which make him anxious, the hard pews, which makes sitting down unbearable, and the boring mass, which distracts his already ADD symptoms.

I will then make the comparison between the boy and the President, both of whom I find contempt but mercy, nonetheless for their ignorance in the truth about faith:

Between the times of 10:53 to 10:57 for the 16:56 minutes in length of the following YouTube.com video, here is what President Obama has to say:

`Surely you can question my policies without questioning my faith; or for that matter my citizenship…`

Here is a YouTube.com video titled:

President Obama Speaks at National Prayer Breakfast by whitehouse (February 04, 2010)

Prayers do work, somehow when least expected. The answers will appear when necessary AND only when it is NOT too late to CHANGE the course of action. But when the injury and damage have already been done, don’t expect God to heal amputees, for example. BUT, again anything possible, like bionic (or cloned) parts for these amputees.

As Maw has said many times in the past:

    `God works in mysterious ways`.

We could learn from the wise woman Maw and Barack Obama in the `power of prayer`:- So for the critics, such as moi, there is reason to live without fear or pain and that’s by keeping the VERY strong impulses of the EGO of each person from imploding on itself.

  • 20100208-Footing Balls

Yesterday’s Sunday Super Bowl Football came and went. I did not view the game, except Paw. The boy came over for lunch today. Maw mentioned to the boy of how his Paw was watching the football game all ALONE! The boy denied knowing there was a football game until last minute, from not hearing anything at work, especially engineers who are over forty, to not watching televisions or advertisements of an American sport, like football.

This shows that the boy does NOT have a good heart. If he did, he would have brought snacks over and hang out with his father at his OLD home, even for one special event. We feel he is showing face for the sake of showing face. Then the girl calls, sick from home, to find out where he is or to signal the boy to leave the house.

Why does he keep coming over? What does he really want? His presence doesn’t `feel` like he wants to eat lunch at his former dwelling. I really can `hate` both of them because I cannot forget their sh!t for blaming us for being simple. I can pick up their shit from miles away. I wonder why strangers can’t tell the difference. Eff! Eww!

Anyway, the football players of today are like ancient gladiators, who get hurt, becoming maimed for life, or die from injuries. People are fools for watching violence. Maw, too, cringes at the sight of people banging themselves at each other. Violence breeds more violence. Guys get drunk and beat up their wives as a projection of their anger for losing a game.

People should put their foot in their mouth for cheering on a business meant to profit from the potential of death from lots of violence. Football is just another sports entertainment meant to dumb down the mind and the fact that people bet on the LIVES of their favorite team! Wake up!

  • 20100208-Stubborn Trait

OMG! Uncle Gigolo is talking with Paw right now. And that man thinks he knows better than the doctor regarding his urinating (or potential prostate cancer) problems, which could lead to infection or a nice catheter.

It’s no wonder the first wife left him! He thinks he is right, just like the rest of his siblings – ALL OF THEM! His motor-mouth won’t stop and he won’t let Paw saw one word. The second wife is trying her best to tell the stubborn old man to complain to the doctor. But he won’t!

My god! Why are men denying the improvement of their health? Does this old fart want to die soon and burden his NEW family? That’s his problem now. If he wants to die sooner, that old man should stop taking his medicine and stop seeing the doctor.

Maybe Obama and pals could put in yet another provision in their health care insurance reform bill: Those people should just die if they choose to refuse medical treatment!

  • 20100208-Thank You

We received a `Thank You` card from the Bitter one. She has recovered well from her illness last year. She wrote of thanks, prayers and well wishes:

`God is so good all the time`.

Even black sheep, a divorcee such as she, deserves second chances. I find her both intelligent and humble unlike the first wife of my paternal uncle. But I still recognize both for putting up so much with our trait – stubbornness.

  • 20100207-Sunny Day

The whole day has been beautiful, sunny and clear blue skies over with lots of fluffy, puffy clouds of white everywhere! Earlier the clouds were over east-ward hills. And later the clouds came over to the west-side area. The air was cool but not icy cold. And somehow the skies got gray overcast after around noontime or so.

While enjoying the outdoors of Maw plucking out my gray hairs, she DEEP FRIED her fish pate, which shrank and looked like tofu. She added ground turkey, garlic, onion, celery, carrots, green onions and seasoned with garlic salt and oyster sauce. The binding ingredients were eggs and lots of flour. Earlier we folded some in wonton wrappers.

  • 20100205-Arrogance Again

The boy came over for lunch uninvited again. We were shopping for noodles and then pet food when we found him already parked on the driveway and blocking the garage for parking the car.

    He shared people he met:

    • Some guy who is into a society of playing guitars, owning a shop of guitars and knowing all about guitars.
    • Eugene M@cala making around $2,000.00 a gig and one playing mostly Bollywood music for an event with Cisco Systems, Inc. That annoying puss head is not worth hiring because he didn’t allow Mom or Dad to dance together during the boy’s wedding or at least let me sing while the twosome danced. Obviously, he doesn’t take request. Eugene, you suck, fool!
    • Ron, the boy’s former co-worker, who got fired, was last seen by a co-worker. Ron was wearing a dress and tried to `duck and hide` from the person.
  • 20100205-Clouds Ahoy

There were lots of healthy fluffy, puffy clouds of white. Early this morning, long whale-shaped clouds of bluish to gray in color were over Mt. Hamilton.

Later on, lots of feathery sylphs were standing vertically along side each other. I could imagine the head and arms sticking out from on top of their torso below.

White clouds of fluffy, puffs were marching side by side near Mt. Hamilton again. From a distance, they appeared to be stacking behind each other and below are obvious breaks between each puff heads!

Then the clouds of gray covered the skies again during this mid-afternoon’s dismay.

But during this evening’s twilight, one could see the white fluffy, puffy clouds against indigo-colored evening skies. These clouds appear to be brightened by the lights from ground zero. I saw two big vertical cloud banks located south of our home.

But this sight disappeared after a few minutes and while I completed the chore of cleaning both the black and green cages, storing the black cage inside the garage, which had to be aired because someone made a cabbage smell of fart, washing the three cage covers, feeding and tucking in the parakeets for the night.

Dinner was done afterward. And my stomach is full of deep fried cod fish. Yummy!

  • 20100205-Lawful Convenant

Tonight, Maw and Paw were both watching on History Chanel a televised programming titled:

    `Nostradamus: 2012`

It’s a year that many have prophesied will bring a catastrophic end to life as we know it. Whatever is in store—a massive cosmic collision, a global environmental disaster, an Armageddon-like religious showdown, or a more subtle transformation—many believe that 2012 will mark a major shift in the history of our planet. But what is there to substantiate such fears? A detailed, historical investigation of this chilling prophecy is the mission of Nostradamus 2012, an exciting HISTORY special that casts the doomsday warning in a frighteningly modern context.

December 21, 2012 is bearing down on us with alarming speed. Whether or not we are able to collectively heed the warnings and affect a course to avert disaster may be the defining moment of the modern age.

BONUS FEATURES: Additional Footage: The Sun, The Egyptians, End of Time, The Hopi, and The Masons

This is a doom and gloom prediction done by a soothsayer – Nostradamus, a follower of everything involving the stars as the ancient Egyptians once practiced.

But I see another reminder of how not to follow blindly into the night of unknown future events that could scare everyone into stockpiling means for survival – food, water, ammo, etc. After finishing my vacuuming chores upstairs, I saw photos from a dedicated blogger.

The two photos showed up in two different weblog sites. Strangely, the titles to these two blog entries remind me of Wicca – `triple-[moon]` and `coven-ant`. I’ve read online how rainbows and butterflies symbolize victims who have undergone mind control.

But because I’m supposed to be follower of `Christ` – a `Christian`, I am hopeful yet again that someone out there could make me somehow feel colorful, just like the Wizard of Oz and that popular song: `Somewhere Over The Rainbow`.

Q: Why was the rainbow used as a covenant to Noah from God?

A: Because at the time of the writing of Noah’s Deluge, the rainbow was an awesome sight and the people then are ignorant on how it materializes. Of course now we know that the rainbow is caused by light refraction from moisture (rain, mist).

Rainbows are symbolic of the covenant.

We don’t know why he used the rainbow but it makes sense because you can’t have a rainbow without water, and the connection with the flood is then obvious. It is to serve as a reminder of the deluge. It is a reminder of the covenant, not the covenant itself. God used his own invention – the refraction of light – for this purpose, as he is well able to do. Even though we know what causes it in this day and age, the rainbow is still a thing of beauty and promise to many, not at all diminished by the physics of how it occurs.

Actually, my unique `peer` knows full well about my fellow brothers, whom I’ve trusted for a very long time and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, the `burden of proof` lies within the beholder of said documentations. And yes, this blog entry of mine is yet another `testament` to that fact.

  • 20100205-Keeping Busy

After receiving a displeasing voicemail message on my cellphone, I wandered downstairs and spoke with Paw who went on about politics. My mind was elsewhere and didn’t pay much attention to him.

The Paw thought he her Maw call for me from upstairs. The sound she made was in fact a very loud cough or sneeze. I went hurriedly upstairs to inquire but she was praying at the time and mentioned molds!

Ah, I see! The constant distraction of house chores has kept me busy and I knew right then that the upstairs needed a good vacuum. And from the looks of the fine dust lurking on areas where electronics are located, those needed the most cleaning.

That went on for about one-half hour or so after calling for help around 14:30pm to 15:30pm. Of course, my mind was still racing from frustration, reeling from the truth and ranting from anything, mostly philosophically.

It had to come to this afternoon’s fateful decision to do the RIGHT thing. I couldn’t take it anymore and it wasn’t fair to my family, the people I could come to love and most especially moi! I used to be afraid, weighing my options based on my mind’s constant imagination of nothing.

I wanted to meet love halfway and start a new life, buy a new home, a new car, new career, anything that would mean freedom, a liberation from house chores (for I am truly a lazy girl at times) and old timers, who have been my life’s saviors for helping me in times of need.

What I really wanted was justice based on promises and guarantees.

  • 20100203-Another Day

As soon as we started finishing up the gardening, the weather started changing. The skies were still clear and blue and at around 15:00 to 15:10pm, I noticed overhead a light aircraft of white color buzzing from north to south direction.

I knew that aircraft was the assessor for the city of San Jose. And since they could take photographs from way up there in the skies, I motioned the `crazy` sign with my right hand to my right temple and alternatively pointed to the direction of our shared fence while standing in the middle of our green patch of lawn.

And then around 15:30pm, the sky was once again covered with gray clouds.

It’s amazing how temporarily blessed we were that day with all the strength to complete the transplanting of Maw’s orchids and probably from eating breakfast at Denny’s of which I had the `The Great Griddle Lover`, which consists of fresh blue berries and granola on three pancakes and one THICK slice of French Toast, sprinkled with confectioners sugar.

  • 20100203-Replanting Orchids

For a total of four hours (two hours during the mid-morning and another two hours during the mid-afternoon), the three of us have completed transplanting Maw’s orchids, which have not been blooming, sadly.

    • Paw helped scrape of the yellow-color calcium deposits from the old plastic containers.
    • Maw decided which orchid bulbs to trash and combine.
    • I am merely a processing unit, using both hand to extract orchid plants from their plastic containers, dumping soil and bark into the wheelbarrow and scoop the dirt back into their containers, along with newly cleaned orchid plants.

The green plastic containers were brittle from the sunlight. The ocher-colored plastic containers are much sturdier and didn’t not need to be thrown into the recycle bin, unlike the green ones.

I blew the backyard free of dust, twigs, branches, dried leaves, bark and more dirt from underneath and in between the two hand-built wooden orchid `house` prior to Maw watering down her orchids. Paw scooped up the debris and piled those into the street for this Friday’s pick-up by the city.
