  • Creative Manifestos

How many times have you looked at a quote and thought, “Okay, now’s my time to write something memorable”? There were many times when I should have thought of that memorable quote in the first place.

Where do you find inspirational words? Usually I find those inspirational words online, such as the lyrics to “Bless “The Beast” And The Children”.

Better yet, what’s your favorite quote that you’ve written yourself? I wrote my own epitaph. Or better yet here is a new quote by moi called “The Nephilim“:

Let not your bodies/hearts be spoiled/troubled by the poisons/traps of this world.

  • The Art of “To Do”

“why not learn from the pros?” Okay. I’ve read other weblogs and so far, I’m still an amateur writer. So don’t expect improvement from my weblog, which is primarily designed to rant and rave at will. I tried splitting up the blog by different categories but that didn’t work out as I expected.

“why not make blogging a family activity?” Are you kidding me? My weblog is my own. Everything in it is meant to humiliate people and to expose their dark sides.

“Or turn it into a game among friends? Yeah, that works. So far, only Madam Mews have been tried and true as a “good friend”. As for John Jr. I think he’s still around somewhere…

  • Phoning it In

    “ET! Phone home!”

Nowadays it’s texting that works better than phone. You see texting can be saved as documentation. Whereas, you’d need photographic memory to record everything you’ve ever heard.

First, I want to thank me, myself and I for the con-tro-ver-si-al decision to blog via a smartphone, even though I don’t have nothing to do with people. Irregardless, none of my readers haven’t a clue as to what I am talking about. I’ve been hanged by the proverbial noose of greed for over twelve slong years and left hung, high and dry, and all alone. One look at my blog and it looks like the ramblings of an insane, loose-lipped, good for nothing, but well meaning person addicted to coffee. LOL. All I could do is 🙂 at your attempts to find meaning behind my messages. Nevertheless, don’t worry your little noggin’s over my state of mind. However, please do read on! And don’t forget to comment (nicely please). But then again, I really don’t care one way or the other.

It is neither me nor her that wants your attention. Nay! She loves to slowly mess with your minds and leave you to wonder if there are any regrets or mistakes made by this author. “Why do you bother her with corrections”? asked her doppelgänger. “Can’t you tell that church goers’ lives are more messed up than hers?” Perhaps contacting the author would help clarify what is really going, that is if she bothers reading and replying to her “e-mails“. Alas, you are not the ruler of her thoughts or the controller of her grammar and spelling. Who do you think you are? To whom should you address your concerns?

[This has been a horrible grammatical exercise by me and I certainly know you agree that you’re God and your destiny lies in their hands because it’s not who they’re but rather if its presence is there at all.)

  • Looking Back at Post a Day 2011 — How’d You Do?

Here are eleven questions to help you [decide] your blogging strategy for the new year:

    1. Why did you start the Post a Day/Week Challenge? I was bored.
    2. Describe the state of your blog [when] you started the challenge. It was mostly rant.
    3. How did your blog evolve over the course of the challenge? The content got shorter.
    4. Did you post as often as you had hoped? Why or why not? I continue to post daily to supplement my rants.
    5. What type of blogging strategy works best for you? Controversial issues in the form of simple questions are better than coming up with my own rants.
    6. If you could go back to the beginning, what would you do differently? I wouldn’t blog about my personal problems.
    7. What are you most proud of accomplishing this year? I supplemented my daily blogs with some photos upload via my new cellphone, which is supposed to be smart.
    8. Name 3 great blogs you discovered through the challenge. I found/borrowed/stolen ideas from blogs about dreams, poetry and social issues.
    9. What surprised you about the challenge? My opinions really don’t matter and I noticed people got their own lives. If they had the time to read my blog, I’m sure my blog stats would show the numbers.
    10. What advice would you give to others who want to blog regularly? Blog anonymously about controversial issues and claim insanity for when the FEDs come knocking at your door.
    11. What are your blogging goals for 2012? I want to stop blogging for 2012.

  • Don’t Box Me In

Yesterday, our AT&T voicemail access was “mysteriously” disabled for Paw. I don’t know what happened. This unresolved issue went on for two hours from around 3:30pm to around 5:30pm and through five phone representatives. I tried downloading the online tool for technical resolution but the questions didn’t fit my issue.

Prior to noontime, I tried to forward ALL voice from the landline to my cellphone. The first and second try online went smoothly. But then I encountered difficulty navigating the AT&T U-Verse webpages. I had to submt a survey with ALL low ratings to each question because I’d get pages to login and 404 errors thereafter!

So by comparing AT&T with WordPress, I find the former has too many CONFUSING links! WordPress, by far, is much user friendly. I too do NOT like clutter. I get impatient with too much detail, which could explain why I asked for a refund for my Premium Theme last night.

Collasping the left sidebar menu of my Dashboard also when I edit my blogs via my cellphone which has a SMALL screen. That’s why I prefer auto-fit for any webpages!

As for my personal desktop workspace. I make a habit of closing ALL unused windows and keep at least two windows open — one IE9 and Firefox 9.0. (I read last night that Mozilla is in league with Google. Sell-outs!)

  • Is there a cure for stupidity?

Is there a cure for stupidity? Nope.

“Stupid is as stupid does.” ~Forrest Gump

If you had a million dollars to reduce stupidity where you live, how would you spend it?

I first would round up the stupid ones of all ages, put them on a train and haul them to FEMA camps for indefinite detention. But that’s only a fable story.

An alternate solution could be: Just don’t have children and abort the ones that will be known to have defects. And use the ones with disabilities to do simple tasks for businesses.

Another alternate solution could be: Let them live and continue to fool them into believing that everything is fine and dandy and that a savior will come (after thousands of years) to save the day and night.

  • What is something you always talk about, but never do?

I always talk/blog about how to improve others. Yet, here I am not doing much to improve my life/style. The notion of “change” is often on my mind. And I believe in karma and the fact that I’ve pretty much given up on myself and others.

  • Navigating your blog

Wow! Last night, I was thinking about updating my customized Menus modeled after a Premium Theme: Shelf to show: Aside, Gallery, Image and Quote. But this theme and like most WordPress.com themes (including WordPress.org) do NOT seem to include my favorite time stamp in a readable text version. Their version is a hover/mouse over “title” attribute to the date/time stamps.

So last night, I’ve set my primary weblog to “Privacy” many times. I was “retagging” old posts as “Asides” for entries done via my cellphones. I could tell because the “Excerpt” view during the “BULK EDIT” does NOT have prompts for “Continue reading—>” and the “word count” is around 140 characters with spaces.

Further, I made use of the new “Post format” via “BULK EDIT” and (again) “retagged” old blogs to reflect “Gallery” for more than one “Images”. I did general searches of my post with “wpid” attachments, including files for “.jpg”, “.png“, “.jpeg“, “.pdf”, and “.gif“.

“Audio” files of just “.wav” and “.mp3” were also “retagged”. As for the “Video”, that didn’t work.

  • When do the ends justify the means?

First, I do NOT understand what is this English phrase “the ends justify the means”.

Second, it is the means that justifies the ends, not the other way around! After all, the ends cannot be reasonably predicted and the course of the means depends on many choices/factors.

Think along the here and now and whatever outcome/s may/may not manifest.
