  • 20080122-Interest Cuts

    Today, the Feds cut the federal funds rate to 3.5 percent and the discount rate (or the bank interest rate charge by the Feds) to 4.0. To me this means businesses could borrow more at a cheaper rate even though they are up to their eyeballs in debt. It’s interesting that these cuts do nothing to help the poor rise above already hopeless state without better job opportunities or bank accounts to their names.

    If the Feds really want to help the economy, they should cut the interest rates on predatory lending by capping the interest rates to no more than ten percent on any outstanding line of, say, credit cards. This could ensure that consumers are able to pay down their debt AND at the same time buy more useless, inanimate junk, err I meant, profitable commodities, like fat ass, junk food and expensive, dry clean only clothing.

    The Feds could take the extra step and further cap the practice of predatory lending on poor, black folks (mostly) by the removal of all adjustable rates and the replacement with fixed rates on any outstanding mortgages. This could stimulate in the minds of high brow airheads to purchase over-priced cardboard boxes, err I meant, real property, such as time-shares, condos, single residents, etc.

    Furthermore, with the falling prices in stocks, this should signal the investors to buy more securities. But unfortunately, the funds used to buy these stocks is nothing more than worthless chattel paper, on top of which is the dollar is rapidly declining in value against the Euro’s, for example.

    I think it’s time for TPTB to give up their interest on always being on top of the backs and shoulders of hard working, poor American citizens, some of who are illegal by the way. This means that some government benefits of food stamps, health care and social security happen to find their way into the hands of those who have not lifted a finger while buying nice jewelries and fancy clothes to wear and courtesy from us TAXPAYERS.

  • 20080121-Daily Diary

    Well, this morning’s weather has been a bit strange – some light rain until 10:30AM, followed by fluffy, puff white clouds of which I have taken some photos around 11:00AM for uploading into my Flickr. com account. Morning mass at St. Victor’s church and we briefly went back to the hall to find more sellers of books and sweets of pastries and orange juices which ‘Maw’ cannot injest. We decided to leave ‘Elmer’ and ‘Myrna’ to their petition of a Filipino running for supervisor in and around our district.

    Breakfast at McDonald’s restaurant came and went with ‘Maw’ talking to four other Filipinos while ‘Paw’ and I stared at the windows and talked very little about football, election, ‘Squirrel’ and other topics. I’ve gotten three doses of coffee that isn’t half bad in taste compared to the expensive food item I used to buy at STARBUCKS. I made four flushes at the restroom and to my relief – thank you.

    So after shopping at 99 Ranch market for two meat items of spicy meat and deep-fried shrimp, we await ‘Paw’ to return home from his water refill at the local water store.

  • 20080119-Devil’s List

    This blog is based on ‘She-Devil’ — a 1989 film starring Meryl Streep (Mary Fisher) and Roseanne Barr (Ruth Barr), who makes a list to ruin the life of her husband, Bob (Ed Begley, Jr.). I’ll use the four items listing ‘Bob’s Assets’ and recreate my version as ‘Flynn’s Assets’ (courtesy of TPTB – my most hated, puss-filled nemesis, including the fibrous vegetables of yuchoy and onchoy).

    1. House: Flynn doesn’t own a house. Owning a house in the Bay Area requires at least two incomes and since she doesn’t have a man in her life, qualifying for a mortgage (or a lifetime of this burden of debt) is unrealistic. It’s simply unaffordable! She, however, does live rent free and comfortably under the same roof with her parents.
    2. Family: Flynn doesn’t have a family. She is over the hill and the chances of birthing a normal child of own put her and the child at high risk. Raising a family of her own takes patience and understanding – both qualities of which she has little tolerance. Her only family is the parental units. She lost her rebellious brother to those Chinese and her ungrateful relatives to self-centered ego.
    3. Career: Flynn doesn’t work. Her only form of income is cash advances from credit cards that she uses to pay down her bills and mostly unpaid, revolving lines of credits (refer TPTB). Working means dealing with a bunch of other back stabbing rats, racing for the managerial positions. SOX will never leave and job security is never permanent.
    4. Freedom: Flynn doesn’t have freedom. She is trapped at home with an outdated family and jobless. She is a virtual prisoner in front of the computer where the internet provides her only means of escape to the outside world full of lousy losers and sorry strangers. Her only friend is imaginary, who also taunts her for fulfilling the ‘Devil’s List’.

    So you see folks, there is much sentiments left behind by my nemesis. The arrogance of those dark ones will continue to be on my most hated list, Axis of Egos, no matter how they come off as nice saviors. They will continue to do whatever they want, whenever they please and at the expense of us less informed and mostly ignorant persons, who don’t really care about others but themselves first and foremost.

    Although I came from a middle class, I live practically among those lowest rung of the ladder. I have no health insurance (costing almost $500.00 per month for the better ones) and no job (paying almost $2,000.00 per month). I literally have to make be conscious of my every moves to sure I don’t encounter any weird accidents, be treated at the hospital or worse become disabled.

    I have nothing to my name except the 1998 Ford Mustang. Everything else belongs to my parental units. I also have but my own mind and heart. My survival really depends on the support of those who love and care for me — and those are the people the TPTB really owe. It’s all about ‘them’ (not me) and how they would handle unfinished business to help those unrepresented Americans.

    But in retrospect, I do have other blessings – no stress, no responsibilities, no worries, no concerns or headaches that other folks consider as living the life they always dreamed of — which is being above the rest or, rather, on the topmost dung heap pile of eternal and unpaid debt. I see that each person is truly happy and perfectly placed for whatever reasons by, you guessed correctly, TPTB.

    The devil is meant to truly test our limits and how straight and narrow we all ‘keep the faith’ – the path to ‘God’. No matter what happens, I am observing y’all and expect progress and some improvement. On recent news dated January 18, 2008, I see the ‘white devil’ called ‘Bush’, who has backed a $145 billion ‘temporary economic package’.

    To me, this small gesture in the form of a tax rebate handout worth around $800.00 is not only taxable for the year of 2008 but seems to be for good luck or to make amends and appease the angry spirits (like me) — just like the Chinese tradition of giving us sweets (like chocolate) or circular objects (like oranges). Only money (in this current world) talks louder, not outdated superstitions.

    If you find yourself on the devil’s list, there is no escape. And no amount FREE money (from the government or other sources) is going to make ‘economic’ conditions improve for those who have nowhere else to turn. I guess the only way to be removed from the devil’s list to let go of those four items and move on to better things in life. This means stop buying expesive, high-brow junk – excess food, clothing and immaterial accessories! Good luck to all, though.

  • 20080114-Headache Again!

    Today, my bio-units and I went to morning mass, home to change clothes, the post office to drop-off one piece of mail, McDonald’s for breakfast, and walked around the Great Mall in Milpitas, CA. After the first circuit walk of the place, Paw and I encountered the slower Maw whom we found talking to “Minh” and her husband, Ben, after the second run.

    This Filipino couple had discussed their situation about their ungrateful son and how he married a pregnant woman (from another man) against their wishes. To his bio-units’ regret of not being there to protect the boy prior to this marriage from hell, they not only paid for the couple’s wedding but had the sentiment of cutting him off completely.

    These types of encounters (as I’ve previously mentioned in my blog) are meant to provide us a path to make decisions, for example, on the fate of Brat. After buying chicken chow mien from Jade Restaurant and more food from Valerio Bakery, we ate lunch at Rose Restaurant and ordered three lunch specials at $5.75 per individual plate. Our mission was to give the boy an ultimatum to his affair with Twit.

    And after chewing the rest of our lunch and with my cellphone on hand, Paw called and instructed the boy to come for dinner tonight as this was a very important discussion. We waited until around 05:00PM, when Brat had arrived. He claimed he had an important project at work and must return by 06:00PM.

    Besides greeting the boy with ‘I Love You’, I sarcastically replied, ‘Yeah, right’ in regards to this ‘urgent project’ of his. He got mad as usual because I sensed this as another lie to escape the truth of why he was summoned to eat dinner with us. My plan of ‘love’ is to tell him more hurtful truth: I personally won’t accept her into the bio-units, period.

    Good thing I rehearsed my scenarios with Paw earlier while frying the left over steamed rice from last night to mix in with today’s left over fried rice from lunch. I knew what to expect of the boy upon his arrival based from our conversations in the past. And knowing how limited the ability of my Paw to express himself clearly in English, my coaching did wonders for him.

    I told Paw to properly ask Brat how he was, wait for an answer and then ask how his relationship with Twit – to which the boy answered, ‘Ok’. I heard Paw tell the boy, ‘I don’t think so’. And the discussion ensued with Paw slowly but surely supporting his argument why Twit is VERY disrespectful to our Filipino culture and more importantly to us as future in-laws.

    The truth, based on today’s encounter in the mall as with other horror stories from other elders with similar problems, is that the Chinese folks stick to their OWN KINDS. And out of their tradition totally ignore us OUTSIDERS, by the way. We simply didn’t understand why we were ignored by the ungrateful Twit when we visited Kim at the maternity ward. We know now.

    The rebellious boy continued to defend that girl and the fact that if anything should happen to him, he will ‘loose’ whatever ‘gift’ I had suggested Paw put as down payment for the house, if the boy is not legally and financially prepared. He insists that he will marry her despite the OBVIOUS sentiments of bio-units, relatives, friends, us and PERFECT STRANGERS, seriously! The signs are all around — thank you!

    As a sad result, Paw had given him an ultimatum that if he decides to marry her, Brat is on his own. The boy got mad, slammed the utensils (lightly) upon the plate, got up from his chair rather hastily and showed himself out the door with some remarks of love and thanks for our discussion at around 05:35PM, which was too early since he is only five minutes away from his work.

    We talked a little more about processing other stuff later on with this new arrangement, cleaned up the place, did the dishes and decided to find out if his car was parked at the work place. So both Maw and I left around 06:08PM and sadly, not surprisingly, did not locate his vehicle. We knew he had lied the moment he arrived from dinner. I guess our spider senses do work, after all.

    Maw cried on our way to where he worked after I reported having a second rare migraine headache, which I believed was sustained from tonight’s conversation at dinner. Maw cried about how she felt sorry for herself and not having anyone support her during our growing years. I think she worried about my health and not being able to take stress in the form of heated debates like tonight.

    We arrived home, danced to burn off our meal and relaxed the whole night – showering, watching television, eating ramen and keeping to ourselves mostly. I tried to busy myself with the repair of my broken magnetic bracelet and broken jade necklace but can’t help but think about how each generation will continue to do whatever they want – leave the old behind. Well for some outmoded followers of TRADITIONS, that won’t work. Y’all know this for a fact, eh?

  • 19980904-Paradox Age

    This is one long article written by Dr. Bob Moorehead. I pulled this from my archive originally ‘Modified on Friday, September 04, 1998 4:37:32 PM’. For the ease of reading and my personal convenience, I’ve broken down the sentences after each semi-colons and started a new paragraph after the periods. I couldn’t find the original weblink to give credit on this particular article. Enjoy!

    ‘The Paradox Of Our Age’
    By Dr. Bob Moorehead

    We have taller buildings but shorter tempers;
    wider freeways but narrower viewpoints;
    we spend more but have less;
    we buy more but enjoy it less;
    we have bigger houses and smaller families;
    more conveniences, yet less time;
    we have more degrees but less sense;
    more knowledge but less judgment;
    more experts, yet more problems;
    we have more gadgets but less satisfaction;
    more medicine, yet less wellness;
    we take more vitamins but see fewer results.

    We drink too much;
    smoke too much;
    spend too recklessly;
    laugh too little;
    drive too fast;
    get too angry quickly;
    stay up too late;
    get up too tired;
    read too seldom;
    watch TV too much and pray too seldom.

    We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values;
    we fly in faster planes to arrive there quicker, to do less and return sooner;
    we sign more contracts only to realize fewer profits;
    we talk too much;
    love too seldom and lie too often.

    We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life;
    we’ve added years to life, not life to years.

    We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.

    We’ve conquered outer space, but not inner space;
    we’ve done larger things, but not better things;
    we’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul;
    we’ve split the atom, but not our prejudice;
    we write more, but learn less;
    plan more, but accomplish less;
    we make faster planes, but longer lines;
    we learned to rush, but not to wait;
    we have more weapons, but less peace;
    higher incomes, but lower morals;
    more parties, but less fun;
    more food, but less appeasement;
    more acquaintances, but fewer friends;
    more effort, but less success.

    We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication;
    drive smaller cars that have bigger problems;
    build larger factories that produce less.

    We’ve become long on quantity, but short on quality.

    These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion;
    tall men, but short character;
    steep in profits, but shallow relationships.

    These are times of world peace, but domestic warfare;
    more leisure and less fun; higher postage, but slower mail;
    more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

    These are days of two incomes, but more divorces;
    these are times of fancier houses, but broken homes.

    These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, cartridge living, thow-away morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies and pills that do everything from cheer, to prevent, quiet or kill. It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stock room. Indeed, these are the times!

  • 20080112-New Baby

    After attending evening mass with the surprise of Brat joining us (from his last minute call to Maw), we decided to visit the new addition to his future in-laws at O’Connors Hospital. We had learned last minute from Brat about a new eight pound baby boy, the second child of Branding and Cream.

    We met Branding in the hallways after getting lost in the hospital through the ‘Outpatient Registration’ area in error, thanks to Brat. The newborn was asleep when Maw, Paw, Brat and I walked into her room. Twit was already there and the sad part is that she went without her finance and alone (again), which (to my bio-units and I) is a ‘no-no’ for new couples.

    There has been about thirty minutes of conversation with Paw and the three gals, with me getting along with other two guys. Branding is so youthful looking and from what I’ve heard seems irresponsible as a husband, leaving Cream to do much of ‘thinking’ in their affairs. I glanced upward after making baby faces at the sleeping infant and noticed Twit not being too happy. I pick up on these split second data.

    I suspect this is due her to not being married to Brat and not having children of her own and obviously for good reasons: They are not compatible as expressed by the guy’s bio-units tonight after dinner (of crunchy, stir-fried vegetables, orange chicken, roast pork and chicken adobo) around 08:00PM. All he could do is not only digest the foodstuff but take the truth at face value.

    The girl simply does not care about us, period. As an outsider to other people’s affairs, I pick up on her actions towards us. No matter how hard us ‘Americanized’ Filipinos try to put up with her lack of social grace and to understand her limited ability to learn new things, like how to use the dial padlock or how to unlock the shears for pruning, her fiance is already sick of her $h!t — by him yelling at her for being stupid.

    I had mentioned to the guy that his destiny is due to ‘ancestral karma’, whereby Brat, in this case, would be the thinking person in the relationship (like Maw is to Paw). I got his concept from one of the Dungeon and Dragons books. He will need to be honest with the Twit for once because this will be a permanent once they get married, which doesn’t mean she will turn around 180 degrees and be nice to us!

    The point is a new baby is not simply toy. And Twit should get busy instead of standing there in clean room, waiting to ‘adopt’ this new one as her own. The couple needed space for that first day and Twit, for whatever reason, should be with her fiance and at home.

    The embarrassing part to this scene is her not taking a hint that Cream was already getting tired of her stay and refused to leave when Maw asked if she had taken dinner, which she (out of her habit) claims she has done so earlier. This was around 07:15PM when I noticed Cream slouching from sitting upright on her bed for quite awhile in an effort to entertain us.

    Furthermore, although my twosome split their money halfway through the relationship, I feel Twit should save as much of her money in preparation for her wedding (as if) and any future babies instead of spending her hard earned work on the lives of her siblings, who are already working professionals. I do not understand this closeness in spite of our observations about how the couple seems to spend less ‘quality’ time together.

    So, I wish Happy Birthday to the little Pig, which happens to be the Chinese astrological sign of Brat, too. This makes the newborn a Capricorn — a sea goat (sound: maa-aaa-aaa-aaa). I’m sure both are helpful, like Brat who provided tech support on my ailing computer upstairs of which a big hug was given by his elder sister — moi.

  • 20080108-Just Beginning

    So I watched (and heard off and on through short naps) the whole televised cable programming of the New Hampshire Primary on CNN. To the surprise of many and after raising Barack Obama upon a pedestal to sit at second place; Hillary Clinton won overall. The votes went mostly to the Democrats with John winning the Republican side (this time) and with Mitt coming in at second, again.

    Tonight’s speeches were ordinary: Barack Obama’s (who seemed not too happy and slightly teary-eyed) was once again the better with rhythmic chanting of positive affirmations towards change than Hillary Clinton, whom I couldn’t believe actually showed ‘human’ emotion yesterday by the slight sounds of choked up tears in her voice. I wonder if her ‘breaking down’ in public (and her husband’s public ranting) actually influenced the voters to wake up and think with their hearts, too.

    To me, Mitt Romney is still a creepy ‘Stepford’ robot on one side; while John McCain keeps strumming his home grown image and repeating that cancer/health story, again! Huckabee seems normal enough; while John doesn’t look good with his cancer, honestly. The rest should concede now and let the top three for each side fight to the end. The losers could save money this way and donate the rest of their unused funds to charity and seriously to us all justice in this manner.

    All I could add to this blog is that if Hillary wins the presidential seat in 2008; she could select Joe as her running mate; since Joe Biden does have international experience. This is your hint, people: I know that the country is not ready for change. If the change were to happen under the new administration, say, like pulling out ALL the troops from Iran, the ‘terrorists’ (whoever they are) would come back and mess up everyone’s hard work to secure peace against this mysterious ‘weapons of mass destruction’.

    For example, the Philippines seemed to have gotten worse after the Americans gave the Filipinos their independence. I don’t know if the country has improved recently but as far as I heard the religious fanatics are crawling all over the once docile provinces. People no longer sleep with doors and windows unlocked. Iron, prison-like fences are now fashionable to some homeowners against the poorer town folks. This is an ironic example on freedom, eh?

    And the Filipino people who were once ‘nicer’ are now much more selfish and greedy for money, even if it means to sell their lands once beautified by the tall coconut trees, now chopped down for oil and foodstuff and leaving but empty lots of tall, dry grass as high as the waist. The investors are planning to build a second hydro-plant right through my maternal ancestor’s land, by the way. And that could take up to 18 years to complete!

    So the New Year of 2008 is ‘Just Beginning’ (as per a held-up sign I saw during Hillary’s speech tonight which finished on 8:18PM Pacific Time). The country definitely won’t hand over its administration to whoever won’t fit the bill of a ‘New World Order’ (whatever the heck this may mean for us all as a nation with whatever ‘hope’ is in store for the whole world).

    A new world means giving up the old timers, their ways of thinking and adapting to the changes of the younger generation who will have nothing left in health care and social security. I see this change occurring slowly and subliminally via lots of black suits being worn by the CNN folks as if they were attending a funeral. (I’m being a cynic, again).

    Bottom-line: Politics is a dirty and cut throat business, sold based on popularity but much nastier as the next super model, all dolled up and primed for the next showdown. The speeches by these candidates sound good to unaccustomed ears of the ‘younger’ generations but when reality comes into play, these well-seasoned ‘seniors’ are ALL windsurfers at best and will completely change their original course of actions after the elections are over and to suit their agendas. Y’all should know that by now! Wake up!

  • 324471-Shiny Ball

    Ah, let me get out my shiny crystal ball! It’s getting clearer now. I see myself as a greedy little piglet princess and everyone start banging down my door for handouts.

    This is due in part to the deteriorating economic conditions which forces everyone to loose their low-paying jobs and income, thereby making the cost of living too high for people to afford descent living.

    Furthermore, people (without earnings) cannot buy commodities, which forces businesses to close shop and file bankruptcy. And the cycle of debt continues to spiral downward when China sells the U.S. Treasury bonds en masse.

    People will be so desperate for basic foodstuff that martial law has to be implemented to keep the minions from killing each other just to survive (i.e. cannibalism).

    Oh woe to the world! And Happy New Year. The crystal ball of doom and gloom has spoken. Bru-ha-ha-ha!

  • 20080104-Raining Today

    It’s been nothing but rain last night and this morning, where droplets of water cover our white acrylic windows upstairs, located in the south and west sections of the house. The cypress, eucalyptus, sycamore and fruit trees are bending to the strong winds, blowing northward. The gray clouds cover the whole Bay Area. And I could see but the darkened, faint outline on top of Mt. Hamilton eastward, too.

    We didn’t attend today’s morning mass due to the rain storm. And Maw wanted pandisal (a larger, generous hand-sized, Filipino version of a small dinner roll, only slightly sweeter and tastier, too) for breakfast. Instead, she ranted about her rude awakening to the fact that Paw will never change his selfish ways. Paw is a good man. However and throughout his whole life, we discovered his functioning of normal day activities requires our programming of simple commands.

    Her story went back to the past (again) when Paw almost left us to burn at Camp Allen, Norfolk, VA because he was too sleepy to wake up and check on the burning smell of our small military apartment; that Maw had to get up to do most of the leg work during the snow season and take the bus and how Paw would stare blankly into space while listening to the sermons as my brother and I played and got hurt without disciplining us.

    Lifting the finger for my paternal side of the bio-units is only good for themselves, especially on the surface to those persons who don’t know them all too well. And Maw has learned that a good teacher (or wise woman, as I would describe her abilities to reconcile marriages of couples) is only as good as the student who is willing to learn and improve upon outmoded attitudes, thinking and bad behavior. And the tear-filled, sadness of Maw is an expression of her acceptance that Paw will never change his ways.

    This brings me to Brat who claims he could change Twit. As in my previous blog entries, Brat denies that he is happy in the relationship, knowing Twit will continue to spend more time with her Chinese family and that her actions is but a precursor to the inevitable, which is to do whatever she wants, leave Brat alone and by himself most of the time and all because she is used to doing her own ways prior to living together with the guy AND without marriage, which to the ‘traditional’ Filipinos is a ‘no-no’.

    Today’s rain storm is a further expression of my frustration at the whole world and how corporate greed and its government cahoots continue to do themselves justice while the rest of us struggle to make ends meet with high cost of living. It’s no fun staying indoor knowing there is more than being computer geek who is always thinking out loud via the keyboard.

  • 20070103-Iranian Doctor

    My folks and I are back from the doctor’s offices. The whole day has been nothing but dark blue to dark purple clouds, which appear to look like whales. The air is cold but not freezing like days ago. We could tell from the frozen roof of the houses if the day is indeed freezing.

    So yesterday as well as today has been lots of leg work of going back and forth between doctor’s offices. First we went ‘Maw’s endocrinologist for a refill for one of her prescription, in and out of the car she went to get the doctor to fill in the number of refills which he had forgotten. This specialist is going to retire in seven years and has to be reminded of details that ‘Maw’ would catch on his behalf.

    Next was going to ‘Paw’s primary care physician to get a 90-day prescription refill, only to learn of the sudden departure to a hospitalist. We had left the paper work with ‘Theresa’ and didn’t use both our heads that the doctor is no longer privately practicing. So we told ‘Maw’ who was waiting in the car and then we proceeded back to ‘Maw’s doctor to verify if this new doctor is good.

    ‘Maw’ claimed to have prayed for spiritual guidance and in the lobby were two people talking about this new physician that would be taking over the care of both my parents. One was an older white man with the whitest beard sitting down on the bench and to his right was the thinnest Asian sales person for drugs. ‘Maw’ stared at the man and they conversed with positive input about this doctor.

    So we went inside the first doctor’s office and waiting for him to come out while another older white lady was waiting for her prescription. ‘Carolyn’ was the receptionist and ‘Maw’ kept talking to her about the transition between the old to new doctors. The white doctor came out and gave us another doctor of Asian descent as an alternative referral to the default. (This one is married to a Chinese and he too doesn’t attend his in-laws function due to not fitting in and not understanding their languages).

    Anyway, we parked at the new doctors office and I had to call to find out where they were located, which was the first building, thank goodness. So we unloaded ourselves and made out way to the main receptionist desk and I didn’t like the fat on to my right hand side. She directed us to the right side where the new physician was located and asked the receptionist if we could quickly and personally meet the new primary care physician.

    Well prior to sitting ourselves at the waiting room, I noticed this tall guy near the receptionist area. He was obviously tall and handsome — yummy. But we got to know him behind closed door a few minutes later. I knew he would take care of my parents. His English is very good for one thing and that made communication much easier compared to the previous doctor.

    He was well dressed in this crispy white dress shirt and has this light brown hair that made me think his is mixed although his last name sounds South Asian at first. We learned worked at this office for ten years, lived in America for twenty-five years and originated from Iran. All I know is that he is good looking and I didn’t notice a ring on his finger. (Yeah, I like to fantasize about gorgeous guys like him. But more likely they are married, as usual. And this has been my darn luck for this lifetime).

    Anyway the introduction went well and we went back to fill out the release of records with ‘Theresa’ and that took about another ten minutes. We were hoping to hand deliver both my parents’ medical records prior to visiting the new doctor (which on Thursday at 11:15AM) and expected a phone call from her this morning. But we found out that the records were already in the new (cute) doctor’s office.

    I waited until 11:45AM in the waiting room while my folks were being seen by their new doctor; read some magazines on foodstuff, which looked edible from off the pages; joked with some white old timers about the dustiness of the faked tall plants, which was behind my chair of the corner and pretty much continued my mental babble of nothing but the cold weather by looking outdoors through the window.

    ‘Maw’ is thankful for this blessing in disguise of being able to transition over nicely with the last minute change of primary care physician. Some activities have mysterious purposes as is mine, which is to be the chauffer of my folks during my unemployed status for over seven months.

    I am hoping that my other personal conditions improve soon (courtesy of and by TPTB). But those events have been something I’ve been hinting all along in my previous blogs for those who have been reading up to this point.
