  • 20060303-Snowy Snowballs

There is snow upon the hilltops of Mt. Hamilton, CA. Views from my work high up here will be uploaded into this profile at home later on tonight. The weather has been quite cold a few days now and rain has been sporadic the whole week. The snow provides my eye candy relief from working too hard.

At least my gray colored Mustang has a nice bath to rinse off the dirt and grime. This saves me money instead of spending some 20.00USD at the local car wash and reduces the damages of my tires from being dragged along the conveyor belt and my paint from being chipped by high powered spraying and drying.

Snow up on the eastern hills of the Bay Area was a rare event today. Last month was the first snow for this time of the year. So today everyone at work had a second chance of looking out the window and watching the snow falling around our building for about three minutes starting around 4:50PM.

At 05:00PM I took some outdoor snapshots of flowers, plants and the general surrounding area near our building. As I drove home on my usual route, I noticed that there was no other snow in sight except for where I work! To me this means something out of the ordinary because it’s almost like we are reminded there is beauty in the simple snowballs that fell on the ground today. The sizes are quite round and as large as, say, one’s pinkie toe nail.

During my childhood my family and I lived in Norfolk, Virginia where Paw was stationed. That is snow country and every winter we would play in the snow. I do not remember much from those days but try to imagine I was once there with the old photos that Paw took of the family.

Paw was the photographer in the family during those days and owed a Canon camera with manual focusing. That camera no longer works and I have inherited Paws passion to take photos recently with my new digital Canon Power Shot A610 that was bought on 11-18-2005 at Moffett Field. This camera has all the features a novice photographer like me could have, including the ability to take movies.

Snow and cold temperature have been my bane during my childhood. I would get colds every winter and take grape flavored cough medicine administered with love by Maw. Trips to the doctors and antibiotics were all too familiar as I fought bouts of ear, nose and throat infections. I hated going to the doctor. I hated getting sick all the time.

The worse was having my tonsils and adenoids removed. I remembered crying at home prior to going to the doctor as I hid underneath what is now an antique Singer sewing machine with still moving parts and wooden legs. Maw uses this Singer to this day.

My hysterical crying continued at the lobby hospital when a nice lady tried to distract me by having me read whatever she held up. I couldn’t read then.

I starved later on the night prior to surgery because this blond girl who shared my hospital room convinced me not to eat much of my dinner.

I still remembered being quite afraid as I looked up into the white covered faces of what seemed about a dozen people looking down at me. I waited on the operating table for the gas to put me to sleep and was told to inhale deeply. I complied still fearfully as I fought the sleepiness by trying to keep my heavy eyelids open. I lost the battle to stay conscious.

The sore throat was annoying as I recovered a few days in the hospital all the while looking for Maw. Ice cream was cold and soothing to the throat and reminded me of snow. I missed the snow and wanted to go home.

But what I remember most was the fun I had playing in the snow. Both Brat and I would get stuffed into these polyester filled jackets, wear cotton lined gloves, rubber shoes and itchy acrylic, ski-like masks that only allowed the eyes to peer out from beneath to a winter wonderland outside. We couldn’t move much with the bundled tightness of our snow outfits.

Then both us kids headed out and played in the snow. We didn’t know how to make a snowman. We saw two teenagers next door to us finishing off the head of their snowman. But the only thing Brat and I accomplished was piling up mounds of snow in the same place and never truly got anywhere. We were disappointed that our Frosty the Snowman never came to life.

Snow brings out the child in us. We play and frolic among the white powdery crunch underneath us and eat the stuff falling from the sky. Coldness is replaced by warm chocolate milk sprinkled with toasted marshmallows floating on the top as we hold our mugs to our noses. Snow is formed from the quick freezing temperatures of raindrops falling from the clouds above towards earth below.

The times of witnessing these rare events of snow in a climate meant for warm weather and sunny days make me wonder if the earth is really cooling off instead going through this global warming due to depletion of the ozone layer of earth’s atmosphere. I don’t know if the earth is tilting in a different direction that makes for these snowy days either. Whatever allows the hilltops to become covered with snow, I am still humbled knowing that all is well in its own sweet, snowy beauty.

  • 20060302-Botherly Love

Oh, brother, here we go again, I think to myself. “Can we talk?” Brat asks me. I sit here in my room trying to type this blog and replied to him, “Sure, it’s no bother. What seems to be the problem?”

It is another session as psychologist to Brat after a much heated debate with Maw over issues that have already been brought forth from prior and similar events. So I hear him out as usual and try to provide as much reassurance and insight from not having been down that road before.

An outsider like me would watch in amused horror as the bickering between Brat (old soul) and Maw (insecure child) play their roles well enough to make my inner guidance work overtime. I feel their problems are really not mine and theirs alone only time will tell. I seem to be in the middle almost all the time and am still learning to view both sides at one time.

Maw and Brat seem to have not learned from each other with all those exchanges of verbal parleys of who is right and wrong, of who has more to offer in wisdom and knowledge and of who shouldn’t worry about anything or anyone in the first place.

She wants to participate in the affairs of others while he has his own thoughts to handle. Her mission is for improvement for most while his assessment is worse for some. Both are truly amazing at the differences in fighting spirit.

How could they keep all that energy up and running at full speed, debating like two chickens naturally comfortable with their own strengths and being way too much over their egos that only a gentle parakeet feather up one’s nose and the resulting sneezes could break the twosome into silence? And I wonder why can’t they practice the art of peaceful discussions instead of bantering loudly into the night?

All their childish resentments borne out of fear and anger could end in an instance by simply loving each other for who they are-human and nothing more. They do love each other. And the very fact they bother to fight for what they believe to be true in their own minds simply shows they care.

Simply allowing the silent treatment may not always be beneficial because that leaves the parties almost invisible as if none exists. Active participation is essential no matter how much a person may be loved or hated.

I may have discovered that this entire stage act is really another one of life’s lesson to be played out in front of this casual observer paying a high price to advance in small steps towards larger leaps and bounds in knowledge, wisdom and discernment.

All I could really do is sit back and learn like a student in class because my words for them to stop seem to fall on deaf ears when both have locked horns and won’t budge to allow breathers for reflections. Paw sits in utter silence until both defenders of their own truths have run the course to an almost what seems to be a stalemate of equally gifted intellectuals.

There is, however, no price greater than to see two dearly beloved persons make a big deal for something that really could be resolved by listening carefully to what the other has to offer. Somewhere is the middle ground that should unite the differences of the heart.

Maybe enjoying a tall cold one could provide nothing but laughter and light hearted conversations and we could learn in this simple fashion of comrade that there is no bother to love thy brother, anytime. The only thing is we do no drink alcohol in the house.

  • 20060301-Soup’s On

Soup is by far my favorite. It’s easy to mix in ingredients and boil for a few minutes. It’s like drinking flavored water, only better. I could eat Vietnamese ‘pho’ soup everyday because it’s light and the Russian ‘borsch’ soup will always be my number one.

I’ll have to admit that the blocks of dried ramen with those flavored soup packs count as a good enough soup eaten by me. It’s what I ate during the growing years of a tight budget from parents that did not have much help from younger relatives.

Well, maybe the next younger brother of Paw has been there for us in the beginning. These two brothers grew up together while the six siblings currently living here in the Bay Area still bicker at each other in a somewhat civil manner once in awhile.

And the cooking happens to be done mostly by the in-laws. Soup for my dad and his mom should be served at almost every meal for that what I notice in myself, the preference for soup above all others.

What I like about soup is the mixture that goes into it. The primary ingredient is always water. Without water, there can be no soup. Have you ever had dried soup? That does not exist. I see several basic kinds that could be part of the soup: meat, vegetable, vitamins, minerals and don’t forget the prayer of thanks over food.

The cook is the creative force behind in this end result. I bet the cook is his only critic and he could only blame himself for not making his soup the best. This cook, in this case, is the best in his own mind. Nothing matters because it’s all the same to him anyway. He makes soup with much love and care.

Each ingredient in this soup, grand or microscopic, offers it’s best to make the cook’s soup perfect. Without the cook to make the soup, who else? There is no such thing as ingredients making its own soup. That is unheard of.

Like the ingredients in our soup, each team has a purpose to fulfill. This goal for all is to nourish the creative force for more soup making endeavors. Is this getting through you thick heads people? Nothing in this soup could be any better or no less than what is already in the soup pot.

Then again, doesn’t this pot smell good already with everything ever mixed into this beautiful work of cooking art and burning up from trying to be better than the rest? The cook is going to taste his soup at any time and hopefully all the ingredients have done its job to make that first spoonful a lasting one.

And for those ingredients which end up taking the worse of the heat, won’t you please stop sticking to the bottom of the pot? It is very hard to scrape the bottom clean, after all. So far I would rate this soup recipe a perfect ten at the moment. At the moment, this one tastes very good, very good indeed.

What is next? We could all try harder for another eternity of this delicious soup. But next time only we should try for something more different and better for the cook’s sake. Perhaps we could add more of the aromatic scent of garlic and the pungent smell of onions to the soup mixture, eh. Yummy!

  • 20060301-Blog Buggings

I am trying to type this blog up fast because I don’t know how long I could stay online. I presume that either or both my local phone company and my internet service provider do not seem to work properly the whole day.

I managed to get online earlier this morning to chat with my supervisor at work and then all of the sudden, after making several attempts the whole afternoon, I could no log online, which was not very good for bloggers like me. I would be minimally satisfied knowing that at least one blog made an entry on the same day my creative and beautiful mind manages to churn out for my public’s amusement.

My dial-up service is very reliable, inexpensive and I have been using this since the year of 2000. The ISP is located in Texas. My local area code is 408 and is serviced by a number one phone company. (I Should Be Careful for being too honest). I have the WirePro service plan so I won’t be charged extra fees if the phone company happens to walk onto said property with affected phone service AND happens to find problems related to indoor wiring and/or phone equipments.

I know from the past that the green colored relay boxes have been unlocked in the past and are now secured. There seemed to have been some switching problems in the past that affected my phone service and the fact my phone line either lost dial tone or sounded very noisy. So I know for a fact that both my wiring and phone equipments are fine from my rear end.

This blog is in no way to prove that this phone company is intentionally trying to make me report the many, many incidences via email regarding the phone problems ever since the installation of the secondary phone line back in October 1998.

I have noticed an increase on service vehicle activities (recently blue colored vans with 1 + 1) in and around my neighborhood after an event on September some years ago. They would park almost in the same areas to ‘service’ the remote boxes. Maybe I should get DSL to replace my slow dial-up service from Texas. Perhaps, I will need a DSL filter to reduce the static noises too.

I am angry that us poor folks (especially me) like to dial out once in while to make contact with the outside world from our lonely lives indoors. I am especially angry when a couple of little old ladies speaking in their native Filipino languages were being interrupted by clicking noises. Their phones are also new and both are somewhat hard of hearing.

So the clicking noises they once heard during their conversations over the telephone does disservice for these nice ladies who worked very, very hard under this great union that our Civil War Soldiers fought so hard with their own lives so that the future old timers would have better lives in freedom and peace.

Isn’t time we all get along and stop being so paranoid if some non-English speaking folks happen to scream over the phone while in a heated debate over some bingo game at a local Christian church? I think we’d better learn to trust each other once and for all and get the real perpetrators of injustices done or being done towards the poor folks, the old folks and plain folks with special needs to get around town.

I am being very adamant right now because I love communicating and the phone, along with internet service, are good tools to allow this one writer her insights and experiences to be expressed to her public. Basically, it is simply not safe to have a phone line not working in case of emergency. Amen, I say!

  • 20060228-Milk Box

I’m stuck in a rut and living this flat-lining existence of comfort and bliss with no worry or care in the world. I’m stuck in a writer’s block that creeps upon me now as I try fruitlessly to think of useful words to describe the event. I’m stuck in a dream world that seems too good to be true and that nothing could get any better than being here alone with my thoughts and by me.

Honestly, I could do myself a ‘real’ favor and go outside to the ‘real’ world and meet other people with ‘real’ experiences of riding the peaks and troughs that seem similar to ripples created by a pebble dropped into a pond. But first I must finish my soy milk. (Personally, I do not like the unsweetened version because the nasty taste reminds me of Play-Doh).

I drink my soy milk diluted with bottled water for ease of swallowing. This should provide my mind the nourishment it needs to think better. My hope, furthermore, is for a clearer perception of where I’m going with this blog. Ah! I feel the half fullness of my stomach (or half empty glass for the pessimists out there) of soy milk permeating into the creative portion of my being.

Yum! There we go-another swallow of this slightly sweetened formula that reminds me of mother’s milk. I feel like a baby once again thinking about those younger years of being pampered by my mommy and powered by my daddy. Oh, swallowing is only for food and liquid, right? And that’s how I should keep my blog: nice and clean like a baby’s bottom.

Another swig of this stuff and I’m almost to the bottom of the glass. I hope I have enough space in my stomach to keep the flow of words going in this blog. My mind is now in creative thinking mode. The boost from this liquid proves to be helpful for me.

And now I have a blog in mind since my original topic seemed to have changed after finishing the foodstuff. For whatever reason, I now see an avenue on better days. All this introverted activity has gotten me nowhere except to prove to myself that I may have a creative edge in writing. I guess practice is all I needed.

I wonder if being indoors is paradise all the same with me and no one else and with the scary prospect of no parole (a pun, please). This sounds like a normal deal for any secure minded individual to stay locked up in a box containing other boxes to provide a lifetime of enjoyment.

My favorite boxes are the musical ones that hold my jewelries and silent ones that hold smaller trinkets. There are my drawers (of white with gold-colored trimmed furniture that my parent bought for me as a child) for keepsakes and other articles of clothing.

My computers (one primary and the other a laptop) provide very informative data when I could log online with my freaking inexpensive, dial-up service, which seemed to have disconnected earlier tonight and a few weeks ago.

In my closet, there are many old types of clothing on old hangers and other containers of old stuffed animal toys and object of arts that Brat (with an ‘old soul’ of Atlantean wisdom) has gifted me over the years.

I used to listen to my stereo system, which I moved downstairs to replace Paw’s larger stereo system, which he bought from Okinawa, Japan back in 1976 and which has been recently donated to a local charity.

I used to watch televised programming, which did nothing but hook me into this humorous drooling stupor of watching only the best and informative truths provided to ~sheeple~.

I read books, articles online and periodicals once handled by patients waiting in doctor’s offices. I find that reading is a good source of information because the readers create the images and sounds in their own minds.

The greatest box that one could ever have is a beautiful mind. The contents of one’s mind are infinite and the possibility to create a new world by composing my blog is like the milk box and its liquid contents. Sharing my blog to my readers is as good as drinking a tall glass of soy milk. Cheers.

  • 20060227-Gray There

I see gray clouds up above yesterday and the whole of today. It’s 07:33PM.

The cats and dogs are pouring their tears as heavily upon rooftops, treetops and mop tops of old hairstyles and everywhere the sounds of washing cars establishments beating on windshields wiping faster than flags waving for Indy cars towards the finish line.

There is freedom from the transmission devices digging into skin of scalp and hiding where only daredevils roam freely in circles. Pluck!

The feeling becomes soothing and sleepy in my hands; the root herewith being less itchy and hairy in my palms as I hold to light shining and shiny yet through to show lifelessness, stillness and laughing at the strand.

I am free and am no longer slave to wandering nails etching railroad tracks to unknown forestation thick and deep. Dark are the colors above as I sleep while it makes noise of squealing delights to once existence on top.

Now, no longer buzzing in annoyance but in garbage among balls matted or in water flushed towards birthing into ocean wide and blue, deeper until returning with others for the attack and more and more to roam in circles.

Mirror, mirror where are they? They they are but not in hay as yellow. But in reflections beyond blurry eyesight did I see. Hurry, more are more coming forward with the urge to raise sheaves and harvest that gray there.

Over there! It’s lost and cannot be found. I miss again from lack of strength to raise arms higher. I see it! Pluck!

There is relief at last and more to go. I’m afraid where only gray hairs grow.

  • 20060227-Whatever Plays

I loved the song `Que sera, sera. What will be, will be…` and grew up with other music to the lyrics of `the hills are alive with music…` and `you make me happy when skies are gray…` I enjoy blogging my articles here at Yahoo! 360. But I love music more.

My bio-units thought I had potential in the musical arena. Having a very small, toy sized piano to tinker the tune of `Mary Had a Little Lamb` inspired and raised hope in my bio-units that I had some musical talent.

So the three of us went to the local mall in Virginia and looked for a real piano. I was only, say, four years old and didn`t reach the height of the legs of an upright piano. I ran to and fro amongst the various kinds that this store had to sell and thought it was another day to go shopping for toys.

I distinctly remembered, `I want this one`. The one with the prettiest scroll work on the wooden legs was what I got-an upright Kimball brand piano. To this day, I still have the Kimball in our living room and will post a picture of it when chance allows after work.

Image source: IMG_0393 taken on 2/28/2006 6:20:44 PM via Canon PowerShot A610 camera.
My photo showing my upright Kimball piano and bench.

My bio-units later gave me a set of piano books totaling eighteen. These are maroon colored and bound in leather and they have nice gold-colored, foil-lined paper and a gold-colored relief showing my full name on the front cover. I still have these books and the records that went along with the books. The records are still in mint conditions too.

During my childhood, I grew up on the military housings. The bugle tune of `The Reveille` would echo in the background every morning. And when that dreaded day of every week came for the piano teacher to come into our house, I`d feign sickness or pretended to not wake up from sleep.

I didn`t like having piano teachers at home. I thought I was better than anyone of them because of my pride and high ego. I learned harder pieces by sight later on in life based on the basics I learned from past teachers and by self-instructions from one of the maroon colored books.

Piano recitals were fun but nerve racking. I remember having to hold my pee because we were not allowed to leave the recital hall until everyone was finished.

Some, like Brat a few years ago, play by ear. He didn`t have formal training like I did. But with his hidden talent, he managed to produce beautiful music and regurgitated the hardest piece that I had a hard time playing from memory! I am still jealous of Brat and will always be due to his being my other competitor for our bio-units love and affection. (Some people like me never could grow up).

My musical background has always been classical and Maw`s all time favorite genre of waltzes. Waltzes are easy to play with the three beats per measure. As long as the level is at least third grade, I could entertain people hours on end. I have in the past but would need the sheet music, however, please. Remember, my memory is not that good as Brat.

Those old-fart sounds got boring to me at times and I tried others popular music like jazz, easy listening and those love songs that would nowadays turn me green from memories of past dating experiences. Some music pieces are loud and fast and those kinds hurt my ears. My preferences have always been the quieter, peaceful and slower ones. Gosh, I feel like an old person.

I consider myself good enough to play my favorites like the soothing `Moonlight Sonata` (first and second; not the third-it`s too fast) and `Fur Elise` both by Beethoven and masterpieces that I cannot seem to remember right now.

Now, I hardly play my piano at home. The piano still in good condition, however, my fingers have taken a toll from freaking typing too much at work! And my sense of hearing has become more sensitive and cannot bang away as loudly on the keyboard as much as in the past.

I wished my fingers were faster and wider enough to barely accommodate an octave. Then maybe I could be a virtuoso playing in front people on the stage. Maybe, I could try playing the piano with my toes.

  • 20060227-Say No!

The final answer of No! is my blog for today. My big brain and fragile mind cannot handle the overwhelming disinformation.

I say No! To media driven, fear mongering, visually laden programming from a bunch of overpaid hoot nannies broadcaster via our airwaves and radio waves.

The weather is cold, cloudy and rainy outside now and overall color is gray.

I say No! To weather that is controlled unnaturally by HAARP and similar weird devices.

My feeling is not to working today and don’t feel I’m being paid enough for my efforts.

I say No! to working hard for nothing and earning cold hard cash that flushes down the royal throne we call the toilet, which could now use bidets for cleaner behinds.

Toilet habits are mundane and unnecessary to discuss especially to my public.

I say No! to the usage of toilets, the fluoride or fluorine contained in mouthwashes and toothpastes or to the natural bodily function of pooping.

No more delays and betrayal of trusts are warranted. I only trust myself and no one else anymore.

I say No! to traitors of my heart. They have been too cunning and scheming in persuading the unwary individuals involved.

Certain people should pay for deceiving me.

I say No! to wheelers and dealers behind closed doors too. They have been too secretive and not forthcoming with their activities.

My help is more than enough already.

I say No! to creditors with exorbitant interest rates on loans that could kill us poor folks, parasites that drain our energies, beggars that should know better about working menial jobs at least, predators that chomp on the necks for nourishment and suckers that give false hopes, the worse of the kind.

Yesterday, my dream worlds were composed in the shortest amount of words that I could remember.

I say No! to burning out (or smoking the kinds of stuff that burn your brains or balls, if you are of the male species).

Nothing could keep this person more preoccupied than to tirelessly sit on her behind to accomplish pieces of her wee little history via online blogging.

I say No! to tiredness of body and mind and pieces of drivel that are too long.

Too many people think about who or what I AM.

I say No! to slanderers, hearsay-ers and gossipers that bear false witness against me, myself and I (and any neighbors that happen to get in the way for all I care).

Trying to prove any intelligence in blogging is not my goal. My writing skills are in the novice stage.

I say No! to intelligent geniuses, well educated in universities, well-versed kinds of messengers and reporters.

My freedom to communicate is being practiced everyday and is being read by what’s left of my public in what I perceive as real and in my reality.

I say No! to freedom ringers (ding! ding!), truth seekers and crusaders beyond the third dimensional thinkers.

There is the opposition to freedom.

I say No! to slave drivers, control freaks and sharp shooters aimed at innocent people to be stilled into silence.

War is nonsense. Ego is nonsense. Any propaganda to promote violence is nonsense.

I say No! to war to fuel the egos of these global elites and via the media broadcasters.

Governments or religious organizations in any way, shape or form are too many.

I say No! to mechanisms installed by smart ones that don’t always work for everyone.

You may say No! to anything that doesn’t click with being true to yourselves.
You may say No! to everyone you don’t like or could care less to like.

You may, however, say Yes! to love, kindness and compassion.
You may also say Yes! to hope and a better future.
You may yet be saved with your generous donations too.
    Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

I say No! to interjections that could make me throw up, which I did one time outside our church when I was cramping one Sunday morning.

The “I had a dream…” speech made by Martin Luther King, Jr. will forever resound in my psyche and I will never forget the hard work of the brotherhood who continues to pave the way for freedom and peace among humankind.

Being an Asian born to Filipino’ parents and raised on American soil has been enriched my background with the diversity of cultures. My original dream has been to climb towards the illusion of upward mobility of “having” the likes of expensive cars, mansions on a hill, vacations homes on the beach, time-share cabins of ski resorts, designer clothes and jewelry, oh, and a trophy husband with straight, pearly white teeth.

Do we really own these hard earned expectations of being above the rest while others below live miserable or an otherwise squalid lifestyle? What do we really have to call our own? By removing all the illusions presented in this world, I believe that I truly own only my existence and experiences as a human in the here and now.

And my greatest dream is to share with people I love and with strangers I may come to know and to love of what I’ve have become, a newer and better me. There is also my personal ego of spreading the all reaching goal of peace and harmony, of course. And without further adieu, I’d like to share some more of my dreams.

(Note: The following dreams once again are weird and I do not offer any explanations whatsoever. These are meant to provide a blog of what’s left of these vivid dreams from memory to my public, are in no particular order because I did not keep a journal and are the most remembered to this day. You may wonder if your dreams may indeed be informative about yourself and your realities. Your subjective interpretation on this topic is as good as mine. Enjoy these titillating stories at your leisure and have a good laugh too).

  • 20060225-Stray Thoughts

“Flynn!” I heard what came from over the boss’ desk and inquired,” Yes? Did you call me?” He responded, “I didn’t.” And probably picked up from him, here is another strange person. I heard my nickname being called again, “Flynn!” I looked at his direction and sort of inquired under mumbled breath, “I’m here, what do you want?” And I knew he didn’t call out my name or heard me because he was busy talking on the phone. Great. Now I am hearing things.

The second type occurred at the same company whereby I felt two presences. One time was an applied pressure for a few seconds between my shoulder blades and found no one nearby because of the late hours of having to work overtime. It was a creepy moment and I was tired. While the other time (on 24-November-2005 at 03:00PM Pacific Time) was a tug on my left earlobe. It felt like someone used their finger and thumb to apply pressure on my earlobe. I discovered that one of my two earrings (from grandpa) was lost and found the missing item near the base of the computer. I immediately sent out my ‘Thank you” to the invisible helper in reverence. Great. Now I am seeing things.

Others types of unexplained events affected my sense of smell such as dog poop and total yuck emanating from former and current co-workers, respectively. There was a rotting stench of death in our garage around March 1998 (and I won’t discuss on how I summoned that stinky smelly one). My reaction to loud and sudden noises, such as slamming doors and annoying co-workers, has increased also. I wonder if there is really Persian magic going on at this company. It’s got to be something else. Great. Now I am angry.

These above mentioned incidences are true (to me at least) and I could only speculate that I’ve been blessed with these new heightened sense of awareness recently. I find that I’m more irritable and open to more stimuli than ever before. It is not a matter of why these happen to me but of how I should handle these new found abilities to connect to the unknown.

Being able to believe in myself is one thing but others don’t want anything to do with gifted people. This is truly sad when everyone should support each other for areas where mainstream medical science cannot prove or disprove symptoms of people evolving.

Ancient folks from all cultures have shamans, healers and other weird high sounding words that I cannot pronounce. Both Maw and Squirrelly and some relatives live with and share different blessings in disguise. My stories happen to be made more publicly detailed.

Sometimes I want to believe I could communicate with others who could pick up my stray thoughts. For example, let’s say I repeatedly though of the words ‘Stop and Go.’ And then I overheard the following day on a popular news station an official mentioning the same phrase ‘Stop and Go’ in his speech to the nation.

Would that be construed as someone trespassing against my stray thoughts? If so, that would be an unforgivable evil but wishful thinking. Everyone likes to wish upon a star no matter how far or believe in tossing the hard earned pennies into the water fountain for good luck.

Are you people with me and amused so far? It is good to know there people with the best of intentions somewhere, out there. We all could use an increase in our serotonin with a good laugh once in awhile.

(Note: It is okay since there is really nothing to fear or be too overly concerned. Anyone reading this should consider themselves equally blessed for being unbelieving people stuck in their normal, don’t-worry-be-happy and dense ways. You all got a long way to go. Oh honey, have you seen my rose-colored glasses? I seemed to have misplaced them again. Yeah, right).

  • 20060225-Finest Bling

You remember the line of “Mirror, mirror on the wall” from bedtime stories. “Who is the finest bling of them all?” Why me, of course, is the answer. There can be no other for I am Self. Can you image lots of clones like me roaming the good earth wild and naturally free of man-made clothing? This is a scary thought and I thought so.

There is one small blurry picture on a government website under the people section that looked strikingly like me. The only thing is I don’t wear head coverings. Why should I cover my long, thick black hair that could be submitted as kennel club material? It’s quite soft and one could pet it like man’s best friend. According to my mirror, maybe it’s time to go to the groomers and get a new hairstyle while I’m on this furry subject.

The word ‘bling’ flashed into my mind and the images diamonds were everywhere or quartz crystals as another hidden gem of nature. I like shiny things, like those shiny wheels on museum quality automobiles you’d find in car shows.

My ego is big (like my big egghead similar to my paternal uncles who are 6 feet tall) and will brag that I have received blings from my paternal grandfather who has passed on years ago.

You see I am his first grandchild among the now thirteen. He gave me two sets of tiny, rose-cut diamond earrings which I cherish as a sentimental value and will pass on to my descendants, if any. The rose-cut diamonds are not as shiny as the round brilliant cuts.

There are other jewelries of small sizes back when I was a child. But the blings of having these four pieces make me feel special. To this day I still have these earrings and wear almost everyday.

Maw originally pierced my ears, which I don’t remember and thank goodness that must have been a painful experience. And I had to get the other two ear pierced later on in life.

Paw bought both Squirrelly’ and myself stainless steel Rolex watches when we were not even born. Both of us don’t wear those now either because of not fitting to our lifestyles and mine, well, needs repair up in Frisco.

Two years ago on my birthday I now have two 22K gold cuff earrings. I couldn’t refuse to have my parents pay and now I have the option of wearing either the diamond or golden earrings.

I have purchased my own blings but those don’t feel the same. I think that is why eating someone else’s cooking seems to taste better.

She continues to look into the mirror and discovers someone else staring back at her. (Oh now this is getting creepy). She is a pretty enough, spoiled foolish brat but loved nonetheless by family and what’s left of her ‘friends’. Blings will always be there for her. Maybe she should try rubies instead.

She is referred here as a third person because the reflection in the mirror is really not the shiny diamonds or that glorious smile she wears but the self discovery of being a divine spirit in human form. The finest bling is of course in the heart and how to think everyday from the heart. The goal is now is what to do with the gifts bestowed. So mote it be.

  • 20060225-Speakest Thou

Typing out blogs has been very rewarding for me thus far. I couldn’t even image how much karma I’ve have overcome over the years of being the strong silent type, a trait that I’ve might have inherited from Paw.

And I am definitely not like Maw, who happens to be quite a hot-headed, brow-beating and yet loving and caring individual who still doesn’t understand herself why others don’t play to her expectations. I think we should fear and learn from older women.

Never speaking much, keeping to oneself in quite solitude, avoiding noise and crowds, leaving the team work to others, I’ve come to realize that communication is important to me.

This is not so much as to expose every bit of what would seem a drivel or ongoing mind talk; but I’d like to share a more personal expression of what one soul, one person could contribute to the public eye without fear of scrutiny or retribution for being me.

Is this too much emphasis on ego? Yes! And, I’m much more than that girlfriend. Just wait and see (with two finger snaps in the air)!

People talk too much-blah, blah and blah. I know I type too much-tic, tic and tic. Let’s just eliminate anything that depends on electrical energy and find out what would happen.

No more electronic devices to power the words of the disinformation or the blabbering of ministries to confuse the already controlled populace. No more rice-rocket cars, gorilla-bar cycles or lion-roaring planes to ride on my already sensitive nerves. No more waving or consuming processed food stuff.

We would actually learn to farm organically and honor live stock to feed smaller communities. People would actually talk, sing and commune with nature outdoors more often instead of indoors in front of the computer or television the whole day.

If you live in the city or even suburbs, like myself, the hustle and bustle of everyday life here seem always busy compared to the more wide open spaces of the countryside. The sensation is indeed quite profound and I remember being able to tune into the earth much better. A total blackout in the suburbs is almost as close as being in the countryside. There is no buzz in the air, only calm.

Is this all I have to say? Not really, for today is another nice weather and our fruit trees out back are starting to sprout their first blooms. I’ve taken a few more pictures and uploaded into this profile.

The times have indeed changed and we all benefited from technological advancements to make our live easier. Without electrical energy to power this computer and my camera, blogging would not be possible for me. The time would be spent pretty much doing nothing but eating and sleeping.

In addition, there is the happiness of talking to my parakeets. I think I’ll talk to my parakeets and give them a bath in the backyard. They might have something important to say-tweet, chirp and peep [translated as: We love you].
