This blog is a horror story about old ladies being taken advantaged by younger men. There continues to be the motivation for money without love. Why is this seeming so prevalent? Is there no justice for these nice and loving piglets, who have been left alone with piles of money and without the support of children, husbands, relatives or friends?
Tonight, Mom has found out that an eighty-five year old friend who lives down the block got married recently in Las Vegas to a sixty-five year old man. ‘Mike’ has grown children and has not completely divorced from his wife, who had confided to the niece of the second wife that her husband is seeing an elderly lady with white hair. The first wife did not know that ‘Candy’ is the aunt of ‘Evelyn,’ who was the same person who learned of the first wife’s story.
The story goes that the man had a retirement home in Livermore, CA that went bankrupt. He won the heart of the second wife and got hold of her bank account. The couple could have lived in together and find out their compatibility in the long run. But, instead, ‘Candy’ was in the process of selling her home in the hopes of being taken cared of by this man somewhere else. The sad part is the house could have been given to a kin folk in need.
But due to her known greediness, she has allowed this man to take advantage of her trust. The worse case scenario would be a slow bleeding of her funds; betrayal of her heart and the disappearance of her love. The old lady has slight Alzheimer’s disease and is hard of hearing, being deaf in one ear. This example would seem like a karmic debt for someone who refused to listen to her own kin folks regarding the shady character that came into her life.
I cringe from the previous example and fear any creeps crawling upon me like a vine ready to choke off whatever ‘wealth’, if any, which may come my way in the near future. I’ve never been married and have no children. And the risk of finding someone for love, happiness and friendship is great because I’ve got no one to protect me from strangers except my parents. Recently I’ve been chatting online with people that seemed interested in finding long term relationships this way.
My fellow warrior happens to be younger than me and is also looking for someone to settle down with and have four children, which is a lot considering I would be bearing those brats. Those reading this particular blog should not laugh because I find this person very interesting enough to meet in person. He lives in Oklahoma and I reside in California. The tricky part is maintaining a long distant relationship. I wonder if this is possible. I have yet to travel to the ends of the world to find out.
Anyway, the lad has various traits that are interesting to me. I grilled him with questions that happen to come across my big brain like: from hunting for venison, shooting at targets; camping outdoors; knowing CPR, first aids and martial arts; to his overall personality around people and his opinions on moral and religious subjects. This ‘Jack of all trades’ happens to be a cat person, which is a plus! His cat is named Rebel, by the way.
So with that said, I don’t believe in co-incidences but too many weird scenarios seem to play right in front of my path with striking similarities. There is nothing wrong with age difference or that fact that dating is possible with women being older. The funny part is what the reactions of our loved ones would be in the pursuit of love, caring and understanding between two people from different backgrounds.
The challenge therein is to remove the veil that divides people among each other and that includes age and race. I suppose the Americanized ones are more open-minded with the previous generation being stuck in their old ways. The melting pot mentality of our country allows everyone to meet and enjoy each other’s company from all walks of life.
I do hope my continued search for my special friend wherever he may be would one day be realized. If I could roll all traits from the guys that I’ve ever met into one nice ball, this would be nice. If I could ‘meet him at the [eye] level’ with sincere honesty, I’d put on my rubber shoes and run to meet him with open arms; bear hugs and warm kisses anytime. I would truly be a happy woman and that’s more than money could buy, until death do us part.
