  • The Rose

I remember singing the following old song during choir class back in my awkward high school days. I was wearing a retainer after getting my braces out. It ruined the sounds of my singing. Bette Midler and I share the same birth date, by the way.

The Rose Lyrics (sung by Bette Midler)

Some say love, it is a river
    That drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed

Some say love, it is a hunger
    An endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower
    And you, its only seed

It’s the heart, afraid of breaking
    That never learns to dance
It’s the dream, afraid of waking
    That never takes the chance

It’s the one who won’t be taken
    Who cannot seem to give
And the soul, afraid of dying
    That never learns to live

When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong

    Just remember in the winter
    Far beneath the bitter snow
    Lies the seed
    That with the sun’s love,
    in the spring
    Becomes the rose

I just watched a VERY inspirational YouTube.com video titled:

You won’t believe whats at the center of the Bible! (by killuminatiAFF)

    [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5qgHtIlD0w]

The video starts out with questions and then presents its findings: the shortest chapter is Psalm 117 while the longest chapter is Psalm 119. And in between those two chapters is Psalm 118. There are 594 chapters before AND after Psalm 118. And when both numbers are added together the sum total is 1188!

At the center of the Bible is the following chapter:

    Psalm 118:8 (King James Version)

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

The center of everyone’s heart should contain: IN GOD WE TRUST.

    Happy Heart
Artist: Andy Williams (peak Billboard position # 22 in 1969)
Music by Hans Last and Words by Jackie Rae

There’s a certain sound always follows me around
When you’re close to me you will hear it
It’s the sound that lovers hear when they discover
There could be no other for their love

    CHORUS
It’s my happy heart you hear
    Singing loud and singing clear
And it’s all because you’re near me, my love
    Take my happy heart away
Let me love you night and day
In your arms I wanna stay, oh my love

Feeling more and more like I’ve never felt before
You have changed my life so completely
Music fills my soul now, I’ve lost all control now
I’m not half, I’m whole now with your love

    CHORUS

    Repeat CHORUS with “La-la’s”

Repeat CHORUS with “La-la’s” and FADE

I recall being happy – so happy that every time I played the old vinyl 33 record, I would reach up with my right hand and pull open the blinds to the window of our apartment dwelling in a naval housing community. Of course, the sun was shining then and it continues to shine now. And because I’m feeling happy I’m sharing the lyrics to that of my favorite childhood song – Happy Heart.

  • 20100510-Loving You

Well, I’ve been humming an old country music for some time now (in my head, that is) and decided to add as one of my favorites to my YouTube.com account: I’ll Still Be Loving You by dywin(Added: November 04, 2007, 05:08 AM)

I’ll Still Be Loving You by Restless Heart
Songwriters: Cerney, Todd David; Rose, Pam; Bunch, Pat; Kennedy, Mary Ann. I’ll Still Be Loving You lyrics © Choy La Rue Music; Mca Music Publishing; Warner-tamerlane Publishing Corp

Changin my life… with your love
has been so easy for you
    And I’m amazed
    Every day
    And I’ll need you….

Till all the mountains are valleys
    and every ocean is dry
    My love….

I’ll be yours until the sun doesn’t shine
    Till time stands still
    until the winds don’t blow

When today is just a memory to me
    I know…

    I’ll still be loving
    I’ll still be loving
    You
    I’ll still be loving you

    Never Before…
    did I know
    How loving someone could be
    Now I can see
    You and Me

    For a lifetime
Until the last moon is rising
you’ll see the love in my eyes
    My Love…

I’ll be yours until the sun doesn’t shine
    Till time stands still
    until the winds don’t blow
When today is just a memory to me
    I know…

    I’ll still be loving
    I’ll still be loving
    You

I’ll be yours until the sun doesn’t shine
    Till time stands still
    until the winds don’t blow
When today is just a memory to me
    I know…

    I’ll still be loving
    I’ll still be loving
    You
    I’ll still be loving you.

I’ll still be loving..I’ll still be loving you…
I’ll still be loving..I’ll still be loving you…
I’ll still be loving..I’ll still be loving you…

  • 20100510-Fallen’s Return

At 12:12am (PDT), I just finished watching a YouTube.com video on the Return of the Nephilim. My mind created more strange connections and saw a nice date of 7/12. But it depends on the horse’s mouth, really. And the word `Nephilim` kinda looks like a person’s name. Great.

    Here are some translated words:

    Bene HaElohim: “Sons of God”

    Benoth Adam: “Daughters of Adam”

    Nephilim: “the fallen ones”

Nephal: “to fall, be cast down to fall away, desert”

    HaGibborim: “the mighty ones”

    gigantes = “giants?”

    gigas = “earth-born”

tamiym = “without blemish, sound, healthful, without spot, unimpaired”

    Here are some Biblical passages:

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the Sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair, and they took them wives of all which they chose.

    ~Genesis 6:1,2

There were Nephilim in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renouwn.

    ~Genesis 6:4

These are generations of Noah; Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

    ~Genesis 6:9

Two things popped into my mind as I typed out the Biblical passages:

    1. While parking at the 99 Ranch Market this morning, I saw a Chinese wife and a White husband, who carried their child up in his arm. As I drove by them, I kinda said, “There goes the breeding program.” Another Asian couple seemed to be in love and close to each other from behind the first couple. I started singing the `Viva! Viva! Viagara` tune. The driver’s side window was rolled down, of course.

    2. After cleaning out the parakeets’ bottom tray, I said something about `Noah, build your ship! Save the day!` or something like that. I don’t know where that thought came from, except the fact that it was cold and raining that afternoon or so. And that I was joking again for whatever reason.

  • 20100502-Noticing Numbers

During the the 2010 White House Correspondents Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., the event opened with the announcement of scholarships of which $133,000 will be given away. I see the double digit of thirty-three (or 33) again.

President Obama and Jay Leno at White House Correspondents Dinner

At during Barack Obama’s speech and towards the end, I see Rick Sanchez (like Hillary Clinton – both killed people in automobile accidents), speaking about Iceland being too cold for volcano. The CNN News headline read: ICELAND VOLCANO, FIREBALL OVER U.S.

I see the word `fireball` (or comparably to the initials F. B.)

    Then I hear Obama say:

`I guess that’s why they’re the most trusted name in news.`

Again, my creative mind picked up another message to moi. Keep my mouth shut. Fine.

  • 20100427-New Word

I just learned a new word (called `fugly` for fat and ugly) after posting my `20100427-Bad Girl` blog. The WordPress video came up and showed a seventeen second snippet of people clapping to the end of a YouTube.com video: Paul Potts Britain’s Got Talent

    Paul Potts

Paul Robert Potts (born 13 October 1970) is an English pop opera tenor who won the first series of ITV‘s Britain’s Got Talent in 2007, singing an operatic aria, “Nessun dorma” from Puccini‘s Turandot. Potts was a manager at The Carphone Warehouse who also performed in amateur opera from 1999 to 2003.

    The song he sang was:

Nessun dorma (English: None shall sleep)[1] is an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini‘s opera Turandot,[2] and is one of the best-known tenor arias in all opera. It is sung by Calaf, il principe ignoto (the unknown prince), who falls in love at first sight with the beautiful but cold Princess Turandot. However, any man who wishes to wed Turandot must first answer her three riddles; if he fails, he will be beheaded.

Right there was a message for moi: `God` is not sleeping.

I just clicked the `Like` button (or green `thumbs up` symbol) to the following YouTube video: Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship

    I noticed that the `Ratings for this video` (42  total) shows 33 `thumbs up` for those who `like this` video; while 9 `thumbs down` for those who `dislike this` video.

  • 20100422-Thinning Veils

`We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall![9]`

~Snippet of speech by Former President Ronald Reagan at Belin, Germany on June 12, 1987.

Today, President Barack Obama made a speech at Cooper Union in New York City about bank reforms. I managed to watch the last ten to fifteen minutes of the speech via cable programming this morning.

President Obama Tells Wall Street to Back Reform

The bank reform on Wall Street could be consider analogous to removing the veil between worlds of 3rd density here and their 4th density there. What Obama is doing now may be eerily similar to what Reagan has done in the past.

Like the Berlin Wall, Wall Street separated groups of people – families and friends; rich and poor; business and consumers. And both types of `walls` made enemies on the other side. And by tearing down or creating reform walls changes from virtual prisons to real freedom.

Again, I think weird. Take it or leave it.

  • 20100414-Old Songs

So I just recalled two of my favorite `old school` songs from New Edition:

New Edition is an American R&B male music group formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978, that was most popular during the 1980s. They were the progenitors of the boy band movement of the 1980s and 1990s and led the way for groups like New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men.
