To Matt Meister and his Happiness Engineered pals.

Listen! I’ve been using my stinking smartphone on the go. It’s small yet powerful enough to process my blogging experience.

Unfortunately, y’all suck! What wrong this time, Flynn? We’ll, the WordPress app for Android refreshes whenever the screen rotation, well, rotates!

I was trying to rename any recent post to “Shared from WordPress” using general search terms of “wp.me”. I did this with the “landscape” orientation.

But when I viewed the shit with the “portrait” orientation, the WordPress app for Android refreshed back to my “Dashboard”.

Can y’all fix it? Thanks. With lots of tweaking,

    Evil Kitty

Hey! I’m editing my old posts. And I noticed that the far-right column for “Date” can be sorted! Aaaiiieee! Maybe, I didn’t notice in the past. But I was searching for typos in the ‘post title’ for years dated 2018, 2017, and 2016. So yeah there were lots of changes to the functionality and layout to my WordPress.com dashboard that I didn’t notice because I’ve been using my smartphone. Thanks.

While tweaking my ‘widgets’ a few minutes ago (from Inactive Widgets | Drag widgets here to remove them from the sidebar but keep their settings to the ‘Opti’ thenme’s five widgets of Sidebar, Left Footer, Left Middle Footer, Right Middle Footer, and Right Footer) , I discovered this new widget called ‘EU Cookie Law Banner’. I don’t know what’s it for but it’s part of my widget.

This new ‘EU Cookie Law Banner’ widget has six (6) sections (in bold text):

    Hide the banner:

    • after the user clicks the dismiss button
    • after the user scrolls the page
    • after this amount of time: […] seconds

    Banner Text

    • Default (which is really the sample text as shown in the ‘Custom’ field below.)
    • Custom: Privacy & Cookies: This site uses cookies from WordPress.com and selected partners.

    Color Scheme

    • Light
    • Dark

    Policy URL

    Policy Link Text

    • [Our Cookie Policy] (which can be overridden and customized)

    Button Text

    • [Close and accept] (which can be overridden and customized}

To the Boss: Yesterday after receiving emails from “Mom”, I’ve encountered annoying problems while trying to process her request. She didn’t need to ask my permission, which didn’t sit well with my open-minded/high expectation. I wasn’t used to the “tone”. It was quite an unusual exchange of emails that late afternoon/early evening. I am open to singing and/or playing, which ever way is easiest for everyone. (I learned that from you. Hehehe!)

Anyway, the main difficulty was emailing the flutist copies of the music pieces, which really is for guitar and keyboard. I didn’t know how to operate my damn Canon fax/printer/scanner via my personal computer. I kept deleting these imported images because the DPI was too low at 300 and had to be reset to 600 DPI, one was legal-sized instead of letter-sized, and several others were in color instead of black and white (to save space for file size).

Then I didn’t know how to operate my paid “Total Image Watermark” application (which I never really put to good use) and deleted many more images as I redid everything. I finally tweaked the software program to imprint the “disclaimer” on the bottom/center of each scanned music pieces. I only wanted to share with everyone to keep the music operations at our local parish running smoothly and at the same time avoid any “copyright infringement” even though I did pay out-of-pocket for my own copies! Plus it’s mine to add my collection of music for personal enjoyment.

So what have I learned? Keep the faith, ears/eyes/heart open to honesty. I’m just helping y’all for now while I’m finishing up my break. I could sense from today’s mainstream media on cable news programming that jobs will pick-up because I’m ready to “reintegrate” into the slave/work force to earn whatever little dough is necessary to “survive” on this hellish planet.

  • Purchased Premium Theme: Opti

    Purchased Premium Theme: Opti

Don’t recall how long ago but kept my purchased Premium Theme: Opti. Has all the stuff I liked, except the post format, which is not too important because I could always switch back to my favorite free theme: Twenty-Eleven to make the changes anytime. Does lack the description for tags, which is not important either. Everything else looks alright. Will keep changing the Customized Colors and Fonts, and maybe tweak the Customized CSS, too,

  • Trying Theme: Untitled by Automattic

    This time I’m trying:

    Untitled

A nice bold theme. Features full-bleed featured posts and featured images, a fixed header, and subtle CSS3 transitions. Read more about Untitled →

I like it! It’s understated, easy to read, fast to load! Plus, the main colors are Masonic: black and white.

However, “Untitled is the absolute perfect theme to showcase your photos and videos.” I don’t use the “Set Featured Image”, nor do I post Videos. So maybe this theme may not be for my content of mostly text.

  • “Blog pages show at most” not functioning properly?

What’s going on here? A few minutes ago, I noticed that my “Blog pages show at most” is NOT showing “5 posts”. Instead, it was “reminding” me to click on the “Scroll Infinitely (Shows 7 posts on each load)”. So I clicked “To infinity and beyond” and didn’t like how my personalized “copyright” notice wasn’t showing on “bottom center” of the “HTML” element. So I tweaked the CSS stylesheet and forced/made the “infinite-footer” element display my “rights” to all, if NOT some, “Content” on my WordPress.com weblog. So take a gander on your personal computers, different web/internet browsers and your mobile sites to see if you see what I see – my smartness.
