  • Hiding again…

Yesterday, the boy used us to hide from his Chinese in-laws and the girl. He called and asked Paw to pick him up at his home because giys car was loaded with gear for tomorrow. He wanted me to help him with giys junk sheng he has his wife to manipulate.

Maw asked him where is the girl. He replied that she wasn’t at home and then that she was at home hosting another party. Of course he wasn’t pleased about the girl using his house to entertain her family only, like the last time she did without inviting us.

We suspect that she is feeding him something to turn his heart away from his OLD family and turn him into a hen-peck husband who has nowhere to turn but to believe in her superstitious tradition, a form of brainwashing and fear mongering.

But because he failed to listen his family, he was so desperate to marry someone who disregarded his OLD family. He was reminded how selfish he and the girl have treated his OLD family before, during and after Bill’s funeral and luncheon Friday.

The people during the funeral noticed how these two mistreated us and it is no surprise how word has gotten around among family and friends. I wonder if his Facebook friends know the truth and the charade these two are playing with each other and unwitting suckers.

The boy was just annoying on Saturday evening as he was during lunch on Thursday, July 22 when he stormed out of the house, just like Uncle Dead in an emotional fit of having hurt feelings for bring up the imagined weight loss of the girl over over days since Bill’s death.

He is doomed to live with that failure in life until he is honest with himself that he married the wrong woman and until he tells her the truth about how disrespectful she has been toward us and our Filipino tradition, including being childless.

    image

I just got the card this morning and had opened up the envelope while waiting in the dental office at 12:00pm and read my “Thank You” card dated 7/11.

Thank you for being there 🙂

You certainly have mastered the art of thoughtfulness!

Addendum — Last edited on 20110725 at 21:20:40 PM UTC : The “2010 Forever Stamp” (Eastern Red Cedar) has been placed upside-down! That’s uncool! And it’s funny that a post-mark over this stamp is nowhere to be seen. The coding appeared nicely at the bottom, though. I thought y’all should know.

  • Exchanging veggies…

This morning Maw and I harvested vegetables from our garden — Romaine lettuce, basil and cilantro. She took a long time to wash the leaves and cut off the dried parts. Then she put those into two bags one for Minh and Indy, both of whom we called to make sure they were home. Both of us went to Minh’s house first and I placed the bag on her front porch and past the white iron grill. Then we went over to Indy’s house and I was greeted by the Indy’s daughter-in-law, who looks like Zinnia, the wife of my maternal first cousin.

A few minutes ago, Minh came by with a bag of small tomatoes from her garden. Some are red but mostly green and small in size, too. Her husband Ben was waiting in the white car and ready to visit the daughter who was waiting for them. Maw was her usual excited self and wouldn’t stop talking up a storm.

Today is truly a fine day of beautiful weather and friendly people. It’s good to know that the world in still blessed with abundance of sharing food, money and thoughts. Only the Satanic network and MSM pals continue to shed their “light and love” of purple cooties to ruin the serenity and calm of “God’s” kingdom.

Addendum: I was thinking of barter system in which neighbors exchange certain goods and services for other stuff. But I see the banking system works well for the meantime. For the readers who know what I’m talking about, it’s okay either way.

  • Now or later…

“You can cry all you want and bang your head on the wall. But when I am dead, I wouldn’t know if you are grieving. While I am alive, you should enjoy every moment with me and be there for me when you are needed.” ~My late maternal grandmother to Maw long ago.

    —

Don’t expect recognition and praise or blame others for your hurt feelings. For example, Uncle Ver expected a warm welcome from Minerva, who totally ignored him. Instead of thanking her for taking care of his late Uncle Julian with her own money, he verbally attacked her. He wanted people from a poor island nation to come up to him and shower him with undeserving platitude as if he is wealthy.

Even Malouse participated in a loud conversation during my paternal grandmother’s one year anniversary prayer of death. She and her siblings didn’t financially support Minerva while the old man was alive. Instead they were hoping to sell the house in the Philippines and then repay her with the profit. Minerva didn’t want their ill-gotten money. They got mad at her refusal, too.

Maw said that those who cry a lot when someone passes on is the most guilty. Once the deceased has passed on there is no way to apologize for mistakes for not doing all the good things for the person or saying all the right things to make the person feel alive. If only the siblings of the girl, in another example, would have taken the time to conversed with their deceased brother while still alive, that would have counted more than mourning his ghost.

  • Know son…

“You keep missing church and attending with unshaven face, messy hair and holes in your clothes! Your wife sucks for not thinking of or visiting us. You don’t surprise us with a token of “food for thought”. I don’t have a son! You are no son of mine!” ~Maw exclaimed to the boy, who unexpectedly paid a visit on Monday evening after his work.

    —

He has emotional problems. I don’t know what he is trying to prove by behaving unkindly to those who love him. How can you accept him for the way he is when he doesn’t know how to “go with the flow”? I guess guys in general are stubborn to the bone. And women expect lots from the men in their lives.

  • Death talkings…

While using the toilet and blogging about the divorced nutter’s presense twice yesterday, I had imagined hearing the girl talking to Maw through the closed bathroom door downstairs. But when I “finished” blogging, I saw that Maw was ironing and actually talking to Paw. The television was loud enough to sound like a girl was in the dining room.

A few minutes later the boy and the girl showed up! And sure enough she was talking about yesterday’s sudden death of her third sibling, Bill; how he wasn’t feeling well and told his friends to drop him off at his mother’s house up in Milpitas, CA where he died on a sofa. And above the sofa was a photo of his late father. Now he is home with his dad.

Yesterday, he complained of chest pains and refused the sister’s suggestion to call for ambulance or drive him to seek medical assistance. But it was too late. After passing on (or DOA by the emergency), the family is still in shock and are figuring out the paperworks.

I’ve shed a few tears or so while the conversation between Maw and the girl took place. Later we ate the soft Subway sandwiches from the twosome.

  • Millionaires gone…

“Try to do your best and work hard. You can have child/ren only once. If your child/ren turn out good, you are okay, but if not you are on your own later on in your life.” Said Mrs. Christensen (the supervisor) to Maw before she left Virginia.

Four of Maw’s patients were once millionaires but died penniless because the government wouldn’t help them since they were wealthy. One didn’t transfer her wealth to her daughter before she got sick. But it was to late.

Mrs. Helen Smith (?), Mr. Simpson (?), Mr. Leedman (?), and Mr. Paramoor (?) all had the same story. You can’t take money to heaven. Learn to live within your means and never spend beyond your budget. Without money, you cannot retire.

  • Nogging off…

Maw nods off with her head held slightly forward and with her mouth opened. I imagined how my maternal auntie Nita might have passed on in same manner while sleeping upright in her chair, alone at home, as found by a family member. Sometimes I have to hold Maw’s head upright to allow DEEPER breaths.

  • OSH shopping…

We came back from shopping at Orchard Supply (Ware)House. After getting a replacement pedal for Maw’s sewing machine off Aborn Rd., my mind remembered a replacement rubber tips (1.25″ & 7/8″) for the iron board and folding chair, respectively.

“We pay the sales tax.” The weekend event is going on right now on July 16 and July 17.

Paw is cheap. Instead of shopping for new rubber tips, he wrapped the old tips back on the furniture with masking tape and clear packing tape for the iron board and folding chair, respectively.

This is the kind of programming I have to live with for the rest of my life, whereby a weak link in the chain CAN ruin a relationship. Now the old timers are short circuiting faster, guess who has to be the anchor in the family to keep the bots from floating off into sea? Moi!

  • No patience…

“You have no “cha-ga”! Whenever you have no patience something happens. You have no “cha-ga”! You have no patience.” ~Maw freaking out in the back seat again and everyday! She’s short-circuiting, typical of sensitive old timers.

Paw and I bought a $5.00 Pepperoni pizza from Little Caesar pizza. The Chinese kid didn’t ring up the order properly for a visual of $5.41 and didn’t give us our receipt, except crinkle it and throw it away: That’s not nice service. This franchise is next to King’s Eggrolls. Anyway, what do you expect from a fast-food pizza joint that just barely started up in MY neighborhood?

Anyway, I didn’t want to wait for the traffic to pass, backed out to take the long route back, ended up making a U-turn within the parking lot, got a narrow exit between a parked truck to my left, an incoming vehicle and parked cars to my right.

My mind wanted to scream at the crone: “Your asthma is your karma for mouthing off criticism to your family every day! If you just shut your trap, you might be able to breathe better and get more oxygen to your stubborn brain!”

Actually, I do have patience — over ten slong years of waiting for the fat bastard to act on his promises and guarantees. But like any politicians, our government has ways of creating snags that delays the inevitable.

  • Pay parents back…

I actually care about getting my money back from TPTB and pals because most of it belongs to my parents by their own hard work and retirement funds. Without their faith in God, they too would have depended on their two ungrateful children for health expenses in their old age.

I owe my parents more than $500,000: for $480,000 free lodging since 18 years old; for food and clothing; for health expenses of $10,000 metal teeth braces and $16,000 hearing aid; for automobile expenses of car maintenance and repairs; for $40,000 in credit card expenses and for other emergency and non-emergency services.

So you see, while they follow the path of righteousness, the reason why I didn’t go after the “gifted folks” is because they too have a choice to make: to follow the correct path to God. If you want that favored GOP to win, so be it because that groups still owes moi.

The current POTUS served well but the angry people don’t seem to “see” that now. I await your return.

  • Transferring title to one name…

Lagay… it means to give money under the table. What used to belong to my paternal grandparents will be repossessed by the Philippines government. The old house is run down and chances of finding a buyer is slim. In the meantime, my paternal uncle Ver wants to transfer the title under his name. He plans to go home to the Philippines in July 15, 2011 and stay for over a month with his second wife, a honey bunny.

My concern is that the verbal agreement among five brothers and three sisters won’t hold; since the guy has a gambling habit that ruined the relationships with both wives. Further, if there is no buyer WTF will continue paying the property taxes and more paperwork to distribute whatever share from the sale?

The guy loves having a good time at the expense of his honey bunny. My cousin Shill has inherited that trait of partying but is far more responsible and ethical than our paternal cousin Joh, whose 33% savings from the home refinance to my auntie Norma’s house lead to the default of payments.

Maw and I have dealt with documentations legally. But depending on the people surrounding the well-intended, no verbal agreement could hold up against these heartless scammers. I am putting this out on account that the Philippines, the government and its cohorts are corrupt.
