  • 20070217-Smallest Peeps

Why ask, ‘What is the big picture?’ when there is a small voice within?
I’m the ruler of my heart and don’t know where to begin.
The answer is not in the seeking or knowing who you are.
There is only ‘One’ vibration like a rainbow colored star.
The covenant reminds us to find truth with our own enemies.
The ancient ones promoted and left behind their guarantees.
Yet this small voice speaks of a unity through a gentle breeze.
I am not alone or lonely with the presence of my kin.
I am funny and a trickster or so weird and bizarre.
My path leads to nowhere but anywhere for global, whirled peas.

Author’s note: First attempt at ‘CinqTroisDecaLa Rhyme‘ poem.

  • 20070216-Peat Moss

Moss land thereon a peat so fair
    Whirled peas are unaware.
    Multiple angles find good will.
    Master destroyed his clay
by pointing to a cloud path way.
To seek a peep and two be still.

‘Raw’ ‘Ices’ fill in loving truth
for all to share a fruit.
From rock and air to fire flies
    some buzz the silent nights.
    With their luminous shiny lights
some stop the wars so noone dies.

What is the prize? It’s blessed rest.
Don’t fail the test and become wise.

Author’s note: First attempt at Jeffreys Sonnet poem.

  • 20070216-Gray Scene

    Awaken! Gray mist
    from your slumber this morning!
    Drivers and buildings
    covered. The Bay Area
was nothing from the twelfth floor.

    Another attempt at tanka.

  • 20070213-Teddy Bear?

    abovetopsecret-queen-annie-net-ghost-20070207
A creepy photo showing a ghost girl wearing a black dress.

    Where is teddy bear?
He is safe on someone’s bed.
    Does anyone care?

    Searching everywhere!
    Hiding under that bedspread?
    Where is teddy bear?

    Babysitter’s lair
    Two laughing children mislead
    Does anyone care?

    Crying girl despair
Maybe he ran away – fled.
    Where is teddy bear?

    To this day I swear
My teddy bear is not dead.
    Does anyone care?

    Elder Maw repair
Wrong button eyes of gold dread!
    Where is teddy bear?
    Does anyone care?

A dark haiku variation of villanelle poetry.

Author’s note: The following external image via [http://queen-annie.net/private/misc/ghost.jpg] is of a very creepy photograph of what appears to be an image of a girl floating above the floor. The vibes from this photo is quite haunting to me and I would feel the effects of shock upon looking at this scary photo.

This poem is about my lost teddy bear, who is nowhere to be found. I believe the baby sitter ‘Auntie Emma’ took my teddy bear away. She instructed me to leave my teddy bear on the bed and left it tucked underneath a blanket. Her children, ‘Mai-Mai’ and ‘Jo-Jo’ teased me and made me cry when I couldn’t locate my teddy bear after returning to the room.

Maw has sewed by hand a similar but stiffer version of my lost teddy bear. The original version was softer and had black eyes. But ‘Maw’ put some golden eyes in error and that scared me. So she replaced those with some black one. I still have this second version but the first and only teddy bear could never be replaced!

  • 20070212-Hard Work

    Repeat after me:
If you would, we would love too!
    Our truth depends on you.

    Through a twelvth floor view,
clouds passed by my work window:
    Fluffy, white cumulous ones.

    Interconnected
    energy filled my whole chest
as I continued my desk work.

    Three samples of senryu.

  • 20070211-Some Monster

Some things are meant to rest.
You gave your all. It’s the best.
If you would, we would promise to
close the back door at your request.

Whistle blowers stand up and sue!
    Justice has been long overdue.
We chose to come with love and just.
The time has come! We always knew.

Worthless notes are backed with disgust:
Full faith and credit with failed trust
were fueled by greed that made earth’s war-
The broken hearted bites the dust.

Through subconscious mind of a whore:
From shams to write-offs and offshore
    to ruinous high credit score;-
It’s time to open your last door.

Another poem of quatrain with chain rhyme pattern of aaba, bbcb, ccdc and dddd.

  • 20070209-Farewell Skin

Oh, stupid brat! You left us alone!
I’m overloaded with work and I groan.
Don’t you bother me again with your loan!
Don’t call long distance on my call trace phone.

My boss, like you, is each to its own.
Both of you are like an annoying clone.
Each has revealed what the other one has known.
You both will pay as I cast my first stone.

Your chatting online continues to moan
about that fishy smell and her loud tone.
Working with you was like picking a bone.
Your babbles lie: There’s no-thing as atone.

    Another poem of monorhyme.

  • 20070209-Relative Kind

Dare to date a donkey due south?
Trail clouds crossing by word of mouth.
Make a hole to see deep blue skies.
The opposite of love are lies.

You’re not alone. Please set us free.
You’re not mad, silly odd man. See!
They levitate: no fear or hate.
There’s no more sadness as I wait.

For lack of food, family, friends-
Angel voiced your thoughts to the end.
Knock! Knock! And two more effects.
Pay the God of Fun our respects.

Not important to know of secrets.
Wink twice and peep of any threats.
Resistance futile to hide my rants:-
    Related kin to friendly ants?

From ancient time of desert clime-
round the clock with pyramid prime.
    Disclosure nears. Be not afraid.
Abandoned, betrayed, weighed as we prayed.

Mixed a hodge-podge of subjective details based on reading articles from a forum since September 2006. Created poem of five, four- lined stanzas with eight syllables in aabb pattern.

  • 20070209-Watchers Unwavering

Watchers on highway and neighborhood scene-
Watchers above; below and all around:
Waking noises and others without sound.

This week; last week; last month; last year: No more!
Felt copters twice overhead twelfth floor, true.
‘Not higher level,’ said snake eyes of blue.

Two poems of three stanzas with ten syllables in abb pattern.

  • 20070209-Nagging Pies

    No ‘Morons’, Christ! But millionaires,
    Government sponsored fall-on shares.
    Peace of mind and pieces of pie;
    Show your dastardly, nagging minds!

    One sub-name under dark cahoots-
    Point fingers in rabid pursuit.
Keeping one eye open for some,
No price greater than having none.

Two poems of two, four-lined stanzas with eight syllables in aabb pattern.

  • 20070202-Face Big

Your face to the world is bigger than mine.
You sit and listen as if all is fine.
Your banner hangs to advertise your sign.
You see a ball on a golden crown divine.

The brotherhood claims she might resign.
They integrated to keep her in line.
Their global efforts strangle her like vine.
This is all in the name that she is mine.

    Another attempt at monorhyme.

  • 20070131-Fly Swats

They can’t swat flies on bended knees.
They have created these laws and fees
for thieves in the night where they lurk.
Hurting our heart or neck won’t work.

We won’t be stilled with ball and chain.
We want nothing: money or fame.
    A true believer is revealed.
    A blessing means forever sealed.

Created a poem of two, four-lined stanzas with eight syllables in AABB pattern.
