  • 20071212-Friendly Ball

This is nice story from one of DB’s weblog via [http://uwantsun.myblogsite.com/entry55.html].

    One Dollar and Eleven Cents

A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet.

She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.

Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall’s Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door.

She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention, but he was too busy at this moment Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good. Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!

“And what do you want?” the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. I’m talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven’t seen in ages,” he said without waiting for a reply to his question.

“Well, I want to talk to you about my brother,” Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. “He’s really, really sick…and I want to buy a miracle.”

“I beg your pardon?” said the pharmacist

“His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?”

“We don’t sell miracles here, little girl. I’m sorry but I can’t help you ,” the pharmacist said, softening a little.

“Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn’t enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs.”

The pharmacist’s brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, “What kind of a miracle does your brother need?”

“I don’t know,” Tess replied with her eyes welling up. I just know he’s really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can’t pay for it, so I want to use my money.”

“How much do you have?” asked the man from Chicago

“One dollar and eleven cents,” Tess answered barely audibly.

“And it’s all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to.”

“Well, what a coincidence,” smiled the man. “A dollar and eleven cents [is] the exact price of a miracle for little brothers.”

He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said “Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let’s see if I have the miracle you need.”

That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed free of charge and it wasn’t long until Andrew was home again and doing well.

Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.

“That surgery, her Mom whispered, was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?”

Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost…one dollar and eleven cents….plus the faith of a little child.

In our lives, we never know how many miracles we will need.

A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law. I know you’ll keep the ball moving!

Here it goes. Throw it back to someone who means something to you!

A ball is a circle, no beginning, no end. It keeps us together like our Circle of Friends. But the treasure inside for you to see is the treasure of friendship you’ve granted to me.

Today I pass the friendship ball to you.

Pass it on to someone who is a friend to you.

    MY OATH TO YOU:

When you are sad: I will dry your tears.
When you are scared: I will comfort your fears.

When you are worried: I will give you hope.
When you are confused: I will help you cope.

And when you are lost and can’t see the light:
I shall be your beacon – shining ever so bright.

This is my oath: I pledge till the end.
Why you may ask? Because you’re my friend.

INSTANTLY WHEN YOU RECEIVE THIS LETTER, YOU ARE REQUESTED TO SEND IT TO AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE, INCLUDING THE PERSON WHO SENT IT TO YOU.

Author’s note: Flynn’s birthday falls on the first. Nick’s birthday falls on the eleventh. The combination of both numbers would make ‘one-eleven’. My thoughts about this code occurred since yesterday: It’s a neat synchronicity. Unfortunately, I do not have ‘friends’ to send this story and have decided to re-post this blog entry for others to share the meaning of true ‘friendship’.

  • 20071207-Weather Blog

Today’s weather was somewhat cloudy the whole day with mostly freezing temperatures in the Bay Area. All I did at work was look up completed construction projects with some open activities and marked the white pages with red ink. I didn’t know what the heck I was doing and didn’t bother asking the clerk because I wasn’t going to stay at that place.

I kept yawning loudly and mumbled under my breath out of sheer boredom at my underemployment status as a temporary tool. The place is bad enough that one could hear the rhythmic sounds of pitter-patter from yesterday’s raindrops as these left the gutter — near my desk and the women’s bathroom. The other temp guys were laughing at the distraction of water pelting metal.

A blonde tool with dark bags under and around her eyes would come out her office located to my right and make a big deal with the other A/P clerks sitting behind me across the aisle. She would cough with her ‘SARS’-like approach in and around my area. I wonder if the black lady to my left notices how rude this b*tch is to her other underlings.

Sometimes the time would go by fast as I gazed outdoors to see some gray and fluffy white clouds with the sun shining brighest upon my face around 02:33PM. I kept my blinds slightly opened but in a few minutes someone had to close those for me. I wasn’t worried about getting cataract from the sunlight knowing I am behind glass of the old building and wearing eyeglasses too. This one old tree with smooth bark and large leaves offered some shade though.

Yesterday the rain poured heavily with the day before yesterday being lighter. My car is nicely washed except for the deflating tires, which need air but I’ve not had the time or care to oversee. I didn’t mind getting some raindrops on my bare head without the protection of an umbrella as I made my way to this state employer of doom. Like I said in my previous blog(s), the place is so slow that I’d die there no sooner than by the end of this year.

If only ‘Santa’ realize how I hate his guts, I wouldn’t be in this rut. Although he claims to be playing the role of a good guy in disguise, he is really a nasty, fat toad like the rest of his cahoots. He coughed on the phone while I talked to him about more stupid delays. That is why he got those ‘flu-like symptom’ for being naughty to the rest of us all these years. I really hate him and his moronic friends up there in the North Pole.

Anyway, the white colored light rail of the VTA buzzed by going both directions — left and right. There were lots of cars that passed by too. Just beyond the vertical windows to this old establishment were other places of business where pedestrians would make their way across from the VTA station. I’ve never rode on this public transportation before and ‘Maw’ wanted to try one day. One day I’d be on the train. I don’t know where that will take me, though — anywhere but working here.

The chemsoup was worse last week. There was a large sylph formation above head this week as I noticed while coming out of work to go into my car and homeward. Tonight, I breathed in the crispy cold air and gazed upwards to see fluffy clouds traveling towards the south. I could barely make out the dark blue color of the night sky too.

  • 20071207-Building Websites

Dude, ‘Yahoo! SiteBuilder’ sucks big time! I like your front page and that was the easiest. However, after viewing your futile attempt of trying to create an .html for your ‘pics’ a few minutes ago, it doesn’t look good. I opened my own website under this ‘builder’ last year and in one week I closed the account. It cost too much for me at that time too.

I couldn’t get anything uploaded properly. This would mean linking lots of other .html somewhere. I couldn’t get the layouts (colors, borders, etc.) set the way I want. I didn’t know how to administrate the damn thing either. There were too many things going on for one website and I’ve lost sleep trying to make it presentable.

There is no way I would go back to that ‘builder’. This includes Geocities, which for whatever reason deleted my free webpage in one day (after trying to use that stupid ‘wizard’ within the site).

I was chatting with ‘Bugle’ one time last year via Yahoo! Messenger. And despite his negative responses about both Geocities and Yahoo! SiteBuilder, I’ve tried those sites and found out the hard way as described in my above paragraphs. Those sites s&ck, big time! And I will not go back to those places again.

So far I’ve neither heard nor seen him in and around that forum for over a year or so. I wonder if ‘Shrimpsei’ knows of his whereabouts. It’s freaky to see his username and have no activity.

On November 19, 2007, I was browsing the internet and came across an article promoting the latest CD of a foursome. Aside from their gigs, the ‘ad’ lists their ‘day jobs’ next to each of their names. It so happens that the only son of ‘Santa’ (that f&t b@st@rd) has a job description of ‘a web designer’.

But since I’m a cheapskate, I’ve decided to enter my blogs via WordPress.com for free and freely. All the hassle of designing a website has been taken cared of by this free website. When and if ‘providence’ answers my greedy prayers, then maybe I’ll do the same: hire a web designer or administrator to oversee the looks and any traffic of my website.

Yup, that’s one of my plans — orgonite-jewelry business. I know you people are hearing my thoughts and reading my blogs, too. Everything will work out. The hardships (or obstacles) have to be overcome gradually (to avoid system shock) as I would creatively describe for anyone with lots of energy to do what is right — fun and humorous.

  • 20071206-Noticing Numbers

Wow! Now I do not entirely understand synchronicity but my observations regarding ‘codes’ of ‘Sweetie’ are everywhere. Like ‘Sweetie’, another warrior, nicknamed ‘Shrimpy’, has one of my ‘codes’ in his PO Box number too, which would be strikingly similar to my home number upstairs as well as the last three numbers of my license plate number).

I saw part of ‘Sweetie’s new PO Box number in my dream dated 12-02-2007 and the location of the USPS happens to be to the ‘right side’ or east of the strip of road of my middle name (or ‘Maw’s maiden name) as is my current mailing address (or single residential house).

Other codes appear in the city of ‘Sweetie’s old mailing address as is my nickname. There was another city of his old ‘nest’ as was the town I grew up in back east in a state of the first president of the U.S.

My eyes do not deceive me but I can’t help but wonder how these events manage to manifest themselves. And yes, ‘Dr. Diana, it is not ‘memo’ but look up the word ‘meme’. And yes, ‘Shrimpy’ posted two pics of his moon and more pics of his mini-wands (buy two and get the third one for free).

And yes, ‘Tony’ your mind (or rather mine) went blank one day in November 2006. And yes, to all the other astral projectors and channelers you know me as your own. Although you trespass on my thoughts without me knowing, I could only forgive you all and stick out my tongue. And yes, I could sense your presense.

Yes, my thoughts are heard and known by some including that ‘dare on a date’ and ‘photos of pictures from ten years ago’ and ‘oh well’. So his and their thoughts are pretty much mine. I cannot help but wonder what else they wish to share with the public. No harm could be done now that I’m here.

Oh yeah, please clean up Iran and Iraq and the rest for more rude awakening. I’m sick of what I’m observing on televised programming, please. Next are Russia and China and the rest. There is nothing left to loose except ourselves in the end, if any.

  • 20071127-Bended Knees

To stand up and down, to bend forward and back, and to open and close the filing drawers make work as a temporary slave-unit tedious, boring and unchallenging. I might have messed up somewhere during this easiest part of the job but I don’t care because I didn’t work hard all these to be under-utilized with dusty files dating back since the 1990’s!

I think I’ve gotten a cold probably from either this old paper system or from the freezing temperature of an office over looking the fountain out front. This means I still don’t have a cubicle of my own and had to keep hiding my DB bag (or black with brown lining) and my glass bottle of water from home.

I still don’t have a badge, which would allow me in the building. I’d have to go up to the receptionist to have her phone my supervisor to escort me into the building. Now, I’ll end up using my cellphone minutes to phone her until one is issued. So I could go into the basebase of dustiness (and probably unseen ghouls) to continue my filing that the full-time employees won’t do.

Any hope for release from the system of paying taxes once and for all is winding down to hopelessness. (By the way, people fighting against taxation and its policies end up either in jail or some sort of sentence — permanently etched on their profile. I know this for a damn fact. Warriors cannot do battle from behind the bars of a jailhouse).

Thanks to the hours of exercising at home to the easy and steady beat of medleys found on this one and only pirated cassette tape from the Philippines, I’ve managed to tolerate any pain requiring me to bend on my knees. This was the only way to get to the lowest cabinet to do my filing. Getting up proved challenging by not painful.

Our at-home workout helps to reduce the clicking of painful joints and snapping of stiff tendons and ligaments. We’ve been exercising this way for about half an hour each day. I will continue this workout to improve circulation and release the tension from my sore muscles. Actually, I don’t mind filing because it makes the day go by much faster than sitting hours on end in front of the computer as I’ve done with my previous employer.

Each time I bended my knees I kept thinking to myself that I’m praying, praying one day I would wake up that TPTB are playing victim, too. After mailing off my spare orgonite item to ‘Bluu’, I let a voicemail message to someone whom I’ve not heard in over a week. As I ended my message and upon turning right into the parking lot, I noticed this green truck waiting directly in the path where people would enter.

This green truck, which appears to be a Suburban, pulled out around 12:50PM as I parked on the far left hand side of the parking lot with the disabled parking and main lobby behind me. There was this green four-door Honda with an Asian female inside. She too pulled away from the disabled after I walked the path leading towards the water fountain and the main lobby to the right.

Anyway, I got a return phone call of someone with flu-like symptoms around 04:30PM. To me, this is yet another ploy to get me to feel sorry and another delay-tactic for justice. I know this would happen as others before me. Yup: There are others playing victim and to me they too will pay for making work hard on bended knees.

My knees should bend for my ‘God’ or at least for a ‘King’ and not the filing cabinet. Maybe I am paying homege to the fallen trees that gave their lives for becoming paper entombed in vertical columns of steel, which for this company is not locked or fire-safe.

If I were an auditor, I’d question this practice. The first ding was a live check sitting face down underneath the computer monitor of this empty and my temporary office where I was filing. I submitted this to the boss of my supervisor. I’m seeing too many no-no’s here. Maybe that is why government has too many red tape. They still rely on paper trails.

I’ve suggested scanning these papers for ease of retrieval but that is the system for this level of government. I’m sick of bending my knees to the illusions presented the ‘victim-like’ productions by people with no sense of ethics and morals. Maybe I should take the next step — a noisy one. There is the local news media and ‘them’.

But I digress. I hate working, period. I don’t like people, their opinions and most of all telephones. I’m a lazy girl — a home girl at best. I prefer staying at home where my heart is happy. I’d pray for the world on bended knees than hand clean the wooden floors anytime too. Being home means food, bathroom and the internet anytime I want.

  • 20071123-Black Friday

Today is the day after Thanksgiving and shopping at the Moffett Exchange (with 30% off prior to noontime) for my news clothes to wear to my temporary job next week went smoothly. The Navy Exchange price is almost half the retail price for popular items — Izod, Liz Claiborne, Basic Concepts, etc…

Attending morning Catholic mass, eating breakfast at McDonalds and locating the address to my assignment at ‘the largest investor-owned American water utility west of the Mississippi River’ was completed from 07:30AM to 11:30AM. The location is nearby where the fiancée of Brat works and is two blocks from an exit off Highway 101.

The shopping took only one and half hours and cost Paw around $300.00 (with around $111.00 savings), which I will gladly pay later (whenever possible). He was patiently waiting by the shopping cart and talked to another older Filipino, while Maw and I quickly scanned the red-tag sale (which were already 30% discounted)!

I got four pants (one black jeans, slacks of brown and black, and a dirty blue jeans that stretches), seven shirts (cotton, of course), and three jackets (two fleece with high neck and a shiny white one with embroidery stitching). My dry skin and electrical static made trying on some clothes, well, shocking and prickly.

‘Black Friday’ is really not worth the effort when the retail prices are nothing compared to military pricing and when the cost of waiting in line is wasted in emotions of impatience, anger and starvation for lack of food (or mostly liquid). I really took advantage of the sale today and we didn’t expect a sale because we seldom shop here anymore.

My new ‘look’ won’t attract some nice professional elsewhere because that is not my destiny. Next is working on my fat tummy and sensitive skin condition — both of which I suspect is really overeating and food allergies, respectively.

Living at home with the abundance of food stuff and succumbing to the temptation of aromatic cooking do no justice to someone (like me) with a hearty appetite. Lunch was turkey leftover and we forgot to buy my whip cream to top off my pumpkin pie! I will not be a happy pie eater without my whip cream!

Sunny is the day with clear blue skies. No brown muck was seen on the horizon of the Bay Area. I’ve went to the post office and sent ‘Chris’ my spare orgonite via USPS — Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Later I sent him a PM as an FYI and the other dude for my other donation. The big one is still pending though: I have not forgotten because his current situation is bugging the sh*t out of me!

  • 20071123-Counterbalancing Goons

While in the middle of reading one article, I decided to blog about his discussion. This involves, once again, weird stuff that ‘normalized’ folks would not encounter in the third dimension. The faint of heart would not understand their paths or simply be rendered into a state of a drooling idiot. From headaches to universal law, all I could say is that everyone is a crazy fool!

A fool would believe anything presented to him/her/it no matter how convincing or well disclosed the facts and would have faith in the unknown (like ‘God’) for further exploitation. A fool would like nothing more than to fool others and find humor along the way. There are only two kinds of people: the fool and the one being fooled. Both are fools regardless of which side is taken.

My impressions of their experiences based on this one article bring very dry tears to my eyes – sob! I am not at all convinced because there are the layers upon layers (as described by another blogger) like peeling away the onion skins. Each time I read about all these ‘parasite-like’ productions, the more I am convinced that there is something wrong with people playing the victims in any scheme.

I hate schemes that involve any movement close to the stinky smelly bowels made by the dung heap of any entity – including us monkey shines. I know for a fact that my personal experience points to accountability no matter what the grand design may happen to manifest for me. Business is business. And in order to make business profitable, like politicians have done so many times, a fool has to lie or vice versa to get the messages across more fools as a successful endeavor.

The failures to be fools: Ancient, fallen angels could have been victims too and have no choice (or volunteered) but to play the role of the ‘bad guys’ to show how us infants how much beating we could take before we blast (or hit back) in return. My assessment is how we treat each other here and now in this universal sandbox. I’ve blogged about the push and pull, the ups and downs and how each one is accountable for being a fool – either good or bad.

One’s bad experience (or headache or whatever is the damn problem may be) is a counterbalance (or a litmus test) for one not to go beyond the event horizon. This is like strengthening the infants for harder tasks in this life and/or the next level. One wouldn’t let the baby touch the fire, of course. And punishment is executed to make sure baby avoids the pain next time. But the infantile experience is well remembered when the baby actually gets burned by the fire, right?

During my lack of enthusiasm for blogging these past few months, I wanted to express about how maybe we are all dead, basically. That maybe our existence is similar to being in a virtual reality, where our daily lives are but computer generated programs from the ancients – a record of what was long gone, to keep our memories alive by reliving each event as if real and unique. There are those who remember their past lives while others believe they only have their current body and nothing more.

I’ve read about 2012 and some sort of time machine or clock being lost, stolen, broken or neutralized. I think this almighty computer disk holding our programmings have ceased or reached its limit. And some are ‘forced’ to re-live past lives that belonged to others before us and some at least try harder to prove that our memories of current experiences are but events being made in process – ‘A Never-Ending Story’ (I love that song).

  • 20071122-Faithful Adaptation

Blogs and such will become less and less as I chug along like another cogwheel in the workforce to help pay down my bills (or at least get a grip and a life for once after being laid-off since June 2007). This means learning how to go shopping for ‘professional’ clothes of the itchy materials– rayon and polyester (yuch) for next week’s cross-training with strangers that would sign off on my weekly time-sheet.

Tomorrow is attending morning Catholic mass with my bio-units. I plan to mail off my spare Orgonites to ‘Chris’ but have yet to respond to his PM in kind for over a week. Then there is this ‘Bluu’ person that I may PM for his interest in the ‘etheric wand’. But letting go of my precious stuff is difficult because I get possessive at times. It’s time to spread my purchase around.

‘Ducats’ is a new word, which sounds archaic to my modern hearing. As a fan-base, orgonite groupie, I’ve learned this word over the course of reading articles online. If I had more ducats to spare, this would be donated by the giving without hesitation as per that one blog. You know who you are and I’ve not forgotten to say: ‘You’re welcome. There is more to come surely.’

It’s my ‘super’-ego — the altruistic behavior of giving than receiving. Like sharing orgonite, I will admit to learn that whatever is given won’t be returned (per that Twit at the dining table during today’s Thanksgiving lunch). And my painful lesson is to take care of myself (whenever) as my own (I hate to say, deserving) kind by giving whatever abundance happens (if ever) comes my way.

For over seven years, I’ve participated in what I think is the biggest and hardest personal experience in this lifetime via ‘Liars Production’. I’ve waited too long to know that TPTB owes me frigging big time, in case you folks didn’t take a hint from my prior blogs and poems. My personal sacrifice is quite evident and is building up dust. I may soon clean up the mess the ‘hard way’ if the critical mass of my anger towards these entities is not tempered with patience and resolve of positive thinking.

But that should not the reason for my overall bitterness — the taste of wealth I would never come to know and the empty feeling left by the knowledge that others are not (or used to be) living the life of luxury. Once again, my memory foam mattress, home cooking by Maw and the ever present figure head of Paw all are blessings despite my undisclosed hardship to them. I am living a lie.

Hardships are not meant to be made public but when there is not enough ‘to survive’ this indicates a wake up call that something is not right and that help is needed. No amount of pride could be made worse than asking for something that didn’t come from one’s own hard work or was forced into a predicament not to one’s own choosing.

I remember telling a church lady (sitting across from me) on one day while my bio-units and I ate breakfast at the local McDonalds after church that: Love is unconditional. There is no ‘re-payment’. I blurted those sentences out and without thinking because I know this is true. Some people say whatever is based on their opinions or borrowed somewhere else by others’ creative thoughts and experiences.

These church folks pray too much repetitious stuff that my distracted mind would bleed from out my ear holes. But I sat and listened as my current place would dictate among the geriatrics of Filipinos who talk about how poor folks would make dire their situations in order to ask for handouts or how younger generations are more selfish and uncaring about traditions that won’t allow survival in today’s fast-paced environment.

Adaptation as a key to survival has been the theme. The survival of the fittest — where the weakest are weeded out to ‘strengthen the herd’ and where those who fall behind are left behind — I do not agree, though. I sincerely believe the divine is always present or the quarks for the more scientific minds. And that intervention by intent is always possible or by prayers to the unseen — this means having faith too.

  • 20071031-Rumbling Thoughts

Angered thoughts of death and dying
    Destroy the noisy elder Maw
    Inner struggle, silent crying
    Annoy her patient elder Paw

    I don’t care anymore.
    Nothing matters at all.
    I am nothing to you.
    Nothing is left for hate.
    I am finished with love.
    Nothing is in my way.

Upstairs shower as my last straw
Eyes closed shut through mental sighing
Head held high and thoughts sent flying
    Heartfelt energy in the raw

    Back to the shower head
    Heard low rumbling of dread
    Felt a large truck coming?
    Earth shaking, ground numbing
    The back and forth motion
Up and down waves — ocean

‘Huwag mag galit ang Dios kasi ay mainit ang ulo nya.
Merong araw sa iyong lahat! Ito pag labasin insang lindol…’

Translation of couplet (last two lines of poetry) from Tagalog to English:

‘Don’t anger ‘God’ because her/my hot-headed temper has manifested in anger.
There is one day for everyone! This one manifested as an earthquake…’
