Wise cracker: “I recall once during my nursing career that we cannot stop working, even though they held our pay, which they released later on after they scared the people.”

So, the government held their money but eventually after the fiscal year these people were paid anyway. So it’s not a problem. That’s why y’all are supposed to “save for the rainy days.”

THAT’S NOTHING! THE SHUT-DOWN IS NOTHING!

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along! Go on! Skoot!

    To the Boss:

The five of us did VERY well tonight. Your “twin’s name” came out of his car, just as I rolled into the parish parking lot, upon which I saw the flutist emerge from his car with his little girl.

Surprisingly, your “substitute” came on time. Then I called an early exit about five to eight minutes before eight o’ clock, with just enough time left for the flutist to turn off the lights and lock up the place.

I joked to him that he’s [“excused”] by five minutes because he went over by that same time during out first practice. As per my text message to both you and your Mom, I’m “watching over y’all” with my one eyeball!

I had to hold our side door open and made sure he had the keys (in his pocket) before locking it up. I get anal if we end up locking up stuff we might have forgotten in the parish.

I kept repeating for us stay together because I didn’t want to walk alone, even though there were lots of cars parked. I get creeped out at night! I kept close to the little kids who walked ahead of the three guys. Pampanga style!

It’s good to practice together because I still get lost in the music. We went over all the songs twice in one hour. The flutist had his audio recorder turned on and probably as “proof” we attended. But it’s so empty without the rest of the singers.

As far as I know recently through one of your kinds, this group NEVER practiced because of family priorities/whatever. So I’m wondering why I bother attending choir rehearsal. As an outsider, I’m still out of the loop.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to “lead”. But I’m just a temporary plug. Speaking of which I need to clear my oily/dry skin of white/blackheads!

    Huh,

    Flynn…

“[President makes an announcement on possible government shutdown at 4:45 p.m. ET]” (Cavuto/FoxNews)

“The Senate rejected… House… on a party-line vote of 54-44 on Friday.” (San Jose Mercury News, 9/29/13)

Well, forestry service, museums and such will be affected and so will those civilian defense contractors. I’m wondering about other “contractors” who, um, do “greasy” business “overseas” on behalf of the American govenment.

Notice the numerical value of “445”. Sure looks awfully familiar! “ET” looks like “extraterrestrial” but really “Eastern Time”.

The “payback” to ourselves, the American taxpayers and most especially the freeloaders/bottom-feeders, for government subsistence, is ObamaCare, which could bring in the much-needed revenue that the government needs, you guessed it, to fund the higher/raised “debt ceiling!

    Bah-duh-bing!

And this morning’s Eric Holder/Justice Department suing North Carolina over the national/state identification would have better monitored/tracked to those who aren’t part of/are avoiding/hiding from the Beast system.

So for us with a Social “slave/servitude” Number, the IRS will go after us. We will end up paying $95/whatever penalty for not participating in the healthcare insurance/open exchanges! That’s not fair/not nice! Hiss!

Forgot about an old thought for a couple of weeks now. Heard over our local radio station some snippets of Ronnie Lot (former football player/star) speaking about the issue of brain/skull concussions.

Herein is also some delayed detail/thought that must be covered by any healthcare insurance, which is why ObamaCare must be delayed or at least revised to ensure/include the protection of players in contact/violent/recreational/whatever sports.

These companies/franchises/unions/whatever must implement policies to aide/protect/treat players who sustain any form of concussion. They must have immediate access emergency care, no matter how mild/minor the concussion/injury.

I was/will be a sports fan of football and, yes, wrestling. I do feel their pain but also their pride/joy in the game. I’m NOT as sensitive a soul as Maw and the jobless surfer, but tough enough among the likes of Shrimp-eaters and his purple-colored pals.

    To the Boss:

Eventually and as predicted from an old thought, I’ll grow tired of assembling the music together. Took me a few more hours after mass.

Discovered how to display four and six pages of music – tape two and three (respectively) non-glare, plastic coversheet for both the left and right hand sides (respectively) of the binder. Voila! No staples.

But had to reprint missing pages for the “Glory to God” (gia.com) and one light print-out for “On Eagle’s Wings”. Are we going to sing off the CP3/MI version or the photocopies we’ve been practicing?

Had to modify coversheet for “List of Songs for 10-06-13” from portrait to landscape orientation. Purchased a one-year subscription for an online/cloud service, just to access the “Word” document. Couldn’t work with the “rich text” program. Included the accompaniment (ACC) numbers for the organist and the pages for both “The Choral Praise” (CP3) and “Music Issue” (MI). I could save ink/paper with the dryboard.

Noticed “Music Copies for 10-06-13” had incorrect/missing “Offertory Hymn”, which was the “back side” or next page! Both titles states as: “Oh God”! Had to re-scan correct/missing music. Had to “separate” the old .pdf images and re-combine those pages with the correct/missing ones. Then I moved/renamed/deleted more repetitive files/empty folders.

So sleepy on such a beautiful day. Want to nap but it’s too late!

    Huh,

    Flynn…

Okay, so I’m starting to slouch while listening to music and liking YouTube.com videos and well, I would feel pain somewhere the left kidney is located, towards the back. I’d straighten up and the pain goes away. I drink my water when I’m thirsty.

Oh, an two days ago, while drying the eating utensils, a butter knife dropped on my right toe, past my slippers. I felt the pain. But I’m so numb, I no longer yelp in pain. The brown bruises are in two places – the main joint and a few centimeters above.

That’s how I feel – numb. I wouldn’t know if y’all threw insults at me or whatever. I no longer or at least try to block out anything that might upset me. So, y’all could say that I’m “dead”. I died sometime in, say, 2007.

That was the old Flynn. Now, the new one just blogs as usual.

Well, I tried listening to wave surfs and then lightening. But now I’m listening to the almighty ambient sounds of an Oscillating Fan! That’s right! It’s relaxing! Instead of listening to my favorite music genre – rock and roll, I’m trying to scramble any incoming “thoughts” by flooding my earholes with this “white noise”; since I don’t have a “tin-foil cap” to protect me from psycho-tronic harassments and psychic attacks from any energy parasites that have nothing to do/nowhere to go but attach themselves to moi.

A fifteen minute vote. Sounded like the “NAYS” were louder than the “YEAS”, although the opinion of the chairperson was “YEAS”. So, Mr. Moran called for an electronic voting.

Yeah, so while some do play “politics”, our representatives are tough!

U.S. HOUSE – FUNDING BILL, AMENDMENT VOTE ON MEDICAL DEVICE TAX | ON CONCURRING IN THE SENATE AMENDMENT WITH AMENDMENT | AMENDMENT VOTE DELAYING HEALTH CARE LAW BY 1 YEAR (C-SPAN)

U.S. HOUSE | CONTINUED MILITARY PAY DURING GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN (C-SPAN)

*Off-topic rant: Um. Yeah, kinda can’t cut military recruitment, personnel pay. Can cut the research and development for now, acquisitions, trademarks/copyrights, whatever, and sell unprofitable buildings and real properties???

  • 20130928-1943-Quasiaside

1943, “We must vote tonight.” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, 18th District, Houston (C-SPAN)

1946, “This whole debate is a subtrifuge and proxy” Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wisconsin, 4th District, Milwaukee (C-SPAN)

*Off-topic rant: So, what is the worse that could possibly happen if the government is “shut-down”? Are y’all gonna borrow from domestic and/or foreign TAX-PAYERS? How’s that gonna work if some American citizens/other countries are un/deremployed? I know! Take from the rich! They got all that “capital” investment.

“This is not Saturday Night Live. This is not a game. The American people deserve better than that! I remeber watching “the road runner” cartoon.” Rep. Steve Israel (D-New York, 3rd District) C-SPAN, U.S. HOUSE – FEDERAL SPENDING & HEALTH CARE LAW

*Off-topic rant: Definitely, watching our representatives debate/orate is better than watching SNL and cartoons. 2,500 page bill is too much. I wonder what is in it! Must be important!
