  • 20100218-Forty Fours

I was humming the `Christian` tune to `Forty Days, Forty Night` while the upstairs window to my computer room was open. I could hear that nasty Juan working in the backyard again. Earlier I had blasted some guitar rendition of `Chi Mai` out through the same window.

Anyway here is my poem in rant regarding the incident with LoLinda and him the other day:

    FORTY DAYS AND FORTY NIGHTS

    INSANE PEOPLE ALWAYS FIGHTS

SPRINKLE THEM OR BURN THEM UP

MAYBE THEN THEY WILL SHUT UP

    HOLY WATER IS THEIR BAIN

    FIRE BRIMSTONE CAUSES PAIN

SPRINKLE THEM OR BURN THEM UP

MAYBE THEN THEY WILL SHUT UP

  • 20051012-ONE DAY, BUT NOT TODAY

Here is a poem from a forwarded email of others via a former co-worker Mohini C. (now residing in Los Angeles, CA):

    ONE DAY, BUT NOT TODAY

When I wake up in the morning
With the sun upon my face
Five been given another day to live
Only by God’s great and wonderful grace
    Most take life for granted
    Never stopping along the way
“Gotta do this Gotta do that”
Can’t wait til the end of the day
    Then something tragic happens
And our eyes are opened wide
We realize how short life is
How we wished we had enjoyed the ride
    Fortunately for some
    Who receive the message clear
    Who open hearts and mind
So his voice they finally hear
    I just needed your attention
Came the voice from up above somewhere
    You life became so busy
You forgot that I was there
Slow down my child and listen
I will help you to survive
If only you will let me
    I’ll keep your voice alive
    Give me your situation
As I am the way the truth and the life
And I will certainly deliver thee
    From all your worldly strife
For you, darkness has not come
You have years and much to give
So go my child and share with all
The power that caused you to live
One day I’ll send an Angel
To bring you home to stay
Until that time spread love, peace and hope
To the world along your way
  • 20041028-This is so pretty

Here is a poem from a a forwarded email of others via a former co-worker Mohini C. (now residing in Los Angeles, CA):

    READ THE FIRST LINE CAREFULLY.

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

    Happy moments, praise God.

    Difficult moments, seek God.

    Quiet moments, worship God.

    Painful moments, trust God.

    Every moment, thank God.

Pass this message to seven people except you and me.

You will receive a miracle tomorrow (just do it)

  • 20100211-Feeling Sad

    Falling through the cracks.

    Failing to see the light.

    Fooling only myself.

  • 20091211-Universal Lies

A peace prize for universal lies. As people dies for global highs. A happy fries for starving cries. As network ties for soulful buys. As angry guys gone wise.

  • 20091207-Militarized Monkeys

Clothes so stiff & clean. No furballs or lint, so ever sheen. Stuffed in a suit, buckeled & pressed. Can’t wear your stylish dress. Slackers beware, drafty air.

  • 20090913-Rainy Night

Cool evening raining, washes away our iniquities. Plants rejoice, drinking life. Cars driving over puddles, splashing sounds of hope. Silently down to the Bay..

  • 20090910-My Melons

    My melons are two.

One above my head as the moon – silver and gray.
One within my heart as the sun – golden as hay.

In my right hand the moon.
In my left hand the sun.

    Both held before my chest.
I turn to chuckle at my thoughts.

    My melons are too small.

  • 20090901-Their Kisses

Hollow, dark & void: Kisses by extraterrestrials. Mind melds of love & mind games of fear. Searching but NOT finding, disconnected. Altering of mind frequencies.

  • 20090805-Just Me

What is my world but only me?

    Walking upon land,
    just the trees and grass.
No birds or bee or flowers.
    To lie down and rest.
    Silent but the winds.

    Even the seas,
    just the water and shore.
No whales or fish or crabs.
    To lie down and rest.
    Silent but the waves.

[Flynn’s note: Imagery inspired around 0755am while sitting down on the pew, waiting for the 0800am morning mass to begin and meditating.]

  • 20090723-Sino Ako

Hiram sa Diyos ang aking buhay.
Ikaw at ako tanging handog lamang.
Do ko ninais na ako’y isilang
    Ngunit salamat, dahil sa buhay.
    Ligaya ko nang ako’y isilang
    ‘pagkat tao ay mayroong dangal
    Sinong may pagibig
    Sinong nagmamahal
    Kundi ang taong may buhay
    Diyos ang pinagmula
    Kundi ako umibig
    Kundi ko mang bigyang halaga
Ang buhay kong hiram sa Diyos
    Kundi ako nagmamahal, sino ako

Filipino to English translation – per Google translation:

    Borrowed from God my life.
You and I only just offering.
Do I wished that I born
    But thanks, for life.
I joy when I was born
    ‘pagkat people have dignity
    Who have love
    Who love
    But people with life
    God [were from]
    But I love
    But I evaluate any
I borrowed the life of God
    But I love, who I

  • 20090705-Gusty Wind

A gust of wind, while sweeping well, behind me rush, a gusty swell. Feel like flying, but too heavy set. Lift me up but alas 2 cold. Almost done, a nite so old.
