While cleaning up my stupid files from my personal computer, I found a Word document Modified on Monday, March 26, 2001, 10:03:16 PM:

    Greetings!

I want my LIFESAVING’S returned to me soon…
I need my money back to pay my bills…
I need assistance to get a new job…
I want to work with diligent and cooperative people…

My heart is broken again and need love…
    I want a boyfriend…
I want to move out of my parents’ house…
I want to live in my own house…

    My health needs improvement…
I want to reduce stress, anxiety and depression…
I want to remove my aches and pains…
I need to control my weight and bad eating habits…

I need negative people out of my life…
    I need to assert myself…
I need more humor and laughter in my life…
I need to be more creative…

    Sincerely,
    Flynn

  • 20090515-Buddy Poppy

A red-colored, poppy received by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sunnyvale Post 2421.
Honor the Dead by Helping the Living!

    IN FLANDERS FIELD
(by Lt. Col. John McCrae, M.D. (1872-1918), Canadian Army

In Flanders fields the poopies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

    We are the Dead.
    Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
    In Flanders field

Note: BUDDY POPPY – Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sunnyvale Post 2421 – Honor the Dead by Helping the Living!

Inspired by Col. John McCrae’s “In Flanders Field”, a poem about those who fought and died in France during World War I, the poppy is distributed by veterans organizations around the world as a memorial flower. Since 1922, the artificial Buddy Poppy has been dispensed by the VFW as a means of raising funds to help needy and disabled veterans, members of the armed forces and their dependents, widows and orphans of deceased veterans, to support the VFW National Home, to perpetuate the memory and history of our dead. Blog: We received our ‘Buddy Poppy’ at 1130am at the base of the ramp of the DeCA in Moffett Field after shopping for grocery. At 1133am, we exited the Moffett Field Main Gate. I stuck out my tongue at the camera located at the left central guard’s box – my bad!

  • 20090507-Poor Communication

A short poem describing a present-day karma for a past reincarnated life of being outspoken.

    • I am cursed to silence.
      • Nice for being quiet.
    • I don’t talk at work.
      • Invisible, yet hard-working.
    • I carry myself too seriously.
      • Humorless and too aloof to approach.
    • I can’t hear well.
      • Annoyed at repeating last sentence.
    • I can’t think fast.
      • Impatient waiting for an answer.
    • I am like my ‘Paw’.
      • And ‘Maw’ continues to berate.

Now who is blessed: You or me? Why can’t y’all ACCEPT me for who I AM?

  • 20090420-Cutey Pie

Saw his pic, a cutey pie! My pudding pie! Freckles awash, his blue-speckled eyes. May I call you, ‘Buddy’? My pumpkin pie! Life’s so dandy, Randy. It’s no lie!!

  • 20090418-Hate You

Hate you Pete. Hate you all. Taken everything, made me fall. Saudi tool & Muslim fools. Cowtow bankers & political stools. Laugh out loud, curse to you. Die,eh.

  • 20090415-Need Help

Pray for me that I may be,
    Of help to low-income family.

A temp job that pays as I go,
    And back to community show.

Another calling if that’s your will,
Someone who will stay to pay your bill.

    Maybe someday, I’ll visit you.
Maybe this fall, please stay true.

Author’s note: A quickie poem requesting prayers for a successful job interview for tomorrow. So if it’s G-d’s will, then wish me luck, too!

  • 20090410-Strong Words

    ‘Demon-seeds!’, my label used:
To offend old-souls with child-like ruse.

    Not pleased, eh?
    That’s too bad!

Struck at their hearts, my angers be.
What you’ve done did not agree!

  • 20090225-Darkened Sleep

Hang in there you foolish brat!
    Nothing lost in timeless chat.
    No more darkness, only light.
Don’t care if you’re wrong or right!

It’s getting late, so go to sleep.
Pleasant dreams, no sound or peep.
Say your prayers for one and all.
Don’t let darkness your soul be fall.

  • 20090222-Pink Sunset

Long, purple whale-like clouds. Soft, pink cotton-puff shrouds. Golden rays of sunshine set. Crispy air of freezing net. Awoke to mid-pm nap. Happy, joyful brat!

  • 20090219-Quite Impossible

She’s too small to break his fall. How dare you try to roll the ball, away from hope & fear? Stop the scams’ tear unless ur dead in ur track & better call back.

  • 20090210-Bit Me

Frying eggs w/ joy. Sunny yellow and whitest clouds. Hot oil sizzles and bites back, sinking but a drop of venom unto my flesh. I yelp & hear its oily laughter.
