  • 20070924-No Unions

    General Motors a national strike
Use public transports: ferry, train or bike
A downward spiral — no more union strength
Economists knew – service sector length!
Oil: Rubber wheels, stereo, gas station?
    From Industrial to Information
Do not negotiate with failed attempt!
Bring on hovercrafts – free energy tempt!
Now is the time to find your selves new jobs: —
Try computer skill, stop being a mob!

Author’s note: A poem in response to today’s recent news (Monday, 09-24-2007) about General Motors and unionized folks. The trend has been from an industrial nation to a more service oriented sector, where people like me work hard with skills appropriate for a particular job set and get ‘let go’ based on performance or other nefarious activities…

  • 20070923-Saturday Sermon

Pay for ransom! Send us money!
    Reward handsome – golden honey
    Outwardly trapped by foreign laws
Beaten and slapped by sharpened jaws.

Won’t you please help? Don’t want to die!
    I’ll pay you back – a ‘famousguy’
Wish you were here to be my friend
    Loving fully unto the end.

One life taken a tit for tat
    Badly shaken mortal combat
Wars of the lands unending show
    By unseen hands unloving foe

    Ocean sadness whales are singing
    Dolphin gladness bubbles ringing
Of their calling to say, ‘Hello’
And winged sylphs so long ago

Who would you trust – great or small?

Author’s note: Inspired by chatting sessions with ‘J@ck B!ll*’ from Florida of 2006, the ongoing efforts of TPTB combined with wars, aliens and other poems by ‘beupdated’, ‘dotgo’, ‘ninaalvarez’ and ‘intrepiddreamer’ – wooo!

  • 20070923-Shadow Man

Felt on edge while late one night
Paced back and forth – an exercise.
    Walking from parents’ bedroom
Into dining room of no lights.

    Kept looking into the darkness
With closet light behind our back.
    Saw my reflection straight ahead
In a picture and shiny glass.

Of my shadow I made picture.
Clasped my hands on top of my head
A big eyeball formed from my head
With arms as outlines of an eye

    I kept staring, amused myself
What came next was darkened stealth
A shadow walked from left to right
Rather quickly and out of sight

A man looked downward to the floor
Had a slouch as he walked on by
    With unseen hands inside pockets?
    Hairy body system was raised!

Author’s note: A poem about my observation on August 2007 (maybe on the day of 23rd but I am not too sure since I’ve been quite lazy about journalizing on a daily basis recently). Shadow people do exist. Once again due to the instantaneous nature of these sightings, a photo or video was not available to capture this paranormal event.

  • 20070705-Budgie’s Ghost

    In July Two-Oh-Oh-Seven,
    Late afternoon of the Fifth:
    The ghost of Budgie visited.

The sound of ‘thug’ as she landed
Upon the swing of light yellow —
Back and forth, we watched until none.

Transfixed and still, no muscles moved:
    Four remaining parakeets looked
    Onward in the same direction.

Yeyo from back, Budgsy from right,
Simon and Pimon from the front,
While I looked from five o’clock — right.

Author’s note: A poem about my observation during an afternoon exercise prior to dinner and as to why the parakeets were scattering in their black cage.

  • 20070922-Victim’s Victory

I am a winner! Victory is mine!
I did what’s best for me and not for you.
I did all you asked of me – a user.

You are a loser! Victimhood is yours!
You did what’s best for all and not for me.
You did all they asked of you – a sinner.

Which ball is correct – the ping or the pong?
Am I always right and you always wrong?
Is bigger better while harder is strong?

Like a butterfly drawn to tasty sweets,
she blindly flies into her handler’s shits.
All the post signs say, ‘Stop and be careful’!

You can’t stop me now as I fly away!
No more beating, cheating or coveting.
The Dark Ones taught me well: ‘You can’t hurt me.’

    Anymore… Now I see a different light.
That our love doesn’t always conquer all —
Except the free will to love ourselves more.

    Post Script:
I will love you no matter what happens.
I will be with you through faces of death.
I will keep you alive though my heart aches.

Author’s note: Inspired by poems from ‘Raytheon’ by Jayde, ‘Daily Thoughts’ by ‘1poet4man’ and ‘feelin it.’ by akquiredtaste… Guess I have a long way to go and figure out my true purpose in this current lifetime among the trials from and by TPTB – eeekkk!

  • 20070921-Domo’ Please

    Sumimasen [more] kudasai!
I am sorry! Don’t want to die.
    Wakarimasen kudasai!
I don’t get it! Don’t need to try.

    Ogenki desu. Ikaga desu.
I have no stress yet in a big mess!
By their power, fortune or fame
Done all I could. Let’s end this game.

    What’s your secret – society?
    Lives of endless anxiety!
    Bribery of racketeering
    Money laundry, cash accepting

    Prayer:
    angels of god, guardian dears
sing your songs, allay their fears
darkness no more or endless light
give us the strength to stand and fight

Author’s note: Inspired based on articles about various groups controlling other groups by scare tactics of killing followed a by revised version of a popular prayer. Have taken two semesters in basic Japanese language during my college days. Just need to find ‘husband’ (yeah, right!) willing to refresh my conversional skills – weee!

  • 20070921-Scums Alones

Yes: John Kerry would have won.
Asked him questions one by one
Zap them back like taser gun

Installed Bush: But why ask how?
    Are you people happy now?
Who is next — a female cow?

Let’s stand up and pick a fight!
Find out who’s naughty and bite
    Back — tyranny, injustice

That rule and control the world.
    By bloggers as truth unfurled,
Sticks and stones — verbatim hurled.

Author’s note: I read somewhere long ago about Kerry being the scarier of the two with Bush nominated as president by the Supreme Court anyway, remember? I created a poem in light of the recent question-and-answer forum at University of Florida between Andrew Meyers (who was tasered for seven seconds by the police and charged with a third-degree felony for resisting arrest) and Senator John Kerry (who belongs to these empty, fraternal organizations). By the way, tasers (like guns) cause deaths too but totally fries the more sensitive systems in a slower death instead – zzzttt!

  • 20070921-Rain Drippings

The pitter patter of the rain —
You’re dying: I’m sharing your pain.
I am at war with the unknown.
Sadly, as I wait by the phone
To hear the crackle in your voice
A voicemail unanswered — my choice.
Free once again to live a lie
I send to you my last goodbye.

Author’s note: The first Bay Area raindrops of this season fell on Friday, 09/21/2007 around 05:30PM as we visited the old lady down our drive with her barking dogs and ‘husband’ some twenty plus years her junior – yucko! The rains continue on Saturday, 09/22/2007 with bone chilling factor with blue toe nails of burr! This symbolizes the desperate, last minute attempt by TPTB to squeeze me off every last penny by my hard work – sheesh!

  • 20070921-Scary Thoughts

    Knock-kitty, knock! Tick-kitty, tock!
Scariest time on the wall clock.
Who’s there? Hold on! An unknown foe?
Hope he is well. I do not know.

Both feet are cold, after he told
About his fate, by strangers scold:
Angry Dark Ones looking for cash
    Threatening with violence smash.

A narrow path, a price to pay
Cannot go out — indoors we stay
Keep your shirts on — hard working tools!
No more patience — Dark Agents fools.

Author’s note: Another black, esoteric situation ‘raging’ at hand – shoot!

  • 20070921-One Duality

    left, right, left, right
    dark, light, dark, light
    steppings upon a chessboard game

    down, up, down, up
    nope, yup, nope, yup
see-saws and the children at play

    front, back, front, back
    white, black, white, black
    shaping creation through dancing

    off, on, off, on
    lose, won, lose, won
switches between your thoughts and mine

    here, there, here, there
    round, square, round, square
    positions through quantum physics

    right, wrong, right, wrong
    weak, strong, weak, strong
    designated fate or free will

Six poems with internal and external rhyme with last line describing event of first two lines.

  • 20070919-Random Thoughts

Below are poems in free-verse of my stray thoughts while jobless for three months. Keep your day jobs or you’ll end up like me — writing poetry!

    Tuesday, September 18, 2007 9:57:00 PM
    The faces of death
    Mr. Television screen
    Scream and spit at me!
My face covered by their blood
    Their pain forever silenced

    Tuesday, September 18, 2007 9:47:37 PM
    Peep! Can you hear me?
I am but your little egg.
    Will you set me free?

    Tuesday, September 18, 2007 2:22:47 PM
Many are called. Few are chosen.
Plenty are stalled. You are frozen.

    Monday, September 17, 2007 10:43:14 PM
    On September Thirteen
    Around Six:Eleven PM
    Connected to Bush
    Towards end of speech
    Heard him stumble
    And mumble his words

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 11:15:54 PM
    I should do absolutely nothing.
    For noone will care.

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 11:14:20 PM
Here is another idea: Just leave and
Pretend none of these ever happened.
    Nothing will happen.
If they already did, I didn’t know.
For I’m always the last to know anything at all.

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 11:13:33 PM
You want me to tolerate differences?
    Nay! I say, Nay!
    Tolerating me is difficult enough.

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 11:12:15 PM
    Here is your next lesson
Take no side except your own

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 11:07:05 PM
‘Danger! Danger! Will Robinson’, says the robot.
    Author’s note: Get a grip!

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 10:55:16 PM
‘Come back to the single life’.
    She beckons you. ‘Come back.
The grass is much greener here!’
    She says. ‘Come back.’ Hehe!

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 10:35:58 PM
    I keep on clicking
    In hopes of finding myself

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 4:59:18 PM
Fiat money has got the flats
    By design of greedy brats.

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 8:19:30 AM
    It’s a slow death.
    I don’t know what’s going on.
    I feel something is wrong.
    Everything seems fine and dandy.
But I hear more than I should.
And I see more than I should.
And I continue to bite off more than I should.
I’ve become sluggish from overeating your ‘food’
And wish to sleep off the rest as fat
Only to wake up wanting to continue the vile cycle —
    The cycle of the unknown:
    Until death comes again
To form a renewal into life…

    Sunday, September 16, 2007 8:11:12 AM
    Death to you all
    A silent death
    That noone knows
    Eating for free
    Paying for life

    Friday, September 14, 2007 7:00:09 PM
    Psy-chicks are real
    Just like you and me
    Take deep breaths and feel
    Meditate, think free

    Friday, September 14, 2007 12:29:25 AM
    Presidential address glamour
    Flowing speeching, perfect grammar
Locked onto Bush, heard his stammer

    Friday, September 14, 2007 12:06:03 AM
    Believe what you will
The other side – my side
Their sides as well are my truths

    Thursday, September 13, 2007 2:57:09 PM
    Me plus You equals Us:
    Muse!

    Thursday, September 13, 2007 10:28:42 AM
    Embrace death
    If you’re Sick and tired
    Of newsworthy events
    Then become complacent
    About life itself – huh?

    Thursday, September 13, 2007 10:25:01 AM
    Nuclear fuel is cleaner.
    Radiation may be meaner.
    Free energy dreamer
    No more elite creamer
    Or high oil price screamer

    Tuesday, September 11, 2007 9:23:21 PM
    Fuzzy trip
    Counter grip
    Dizzy spells
    Greasy smells
    Afternoon
    Waiting swoon
    KFC
    Chicken spree

    Saturday, September 08, 2007 10:35:17 PM
    The light
    at the end
    of the tunnel
    is all I want
    to see
    for me
    to be free
    from thee – he!

    Saturday, September 08, 2007 10:40:16 PM
    Once I ate baloot
    A salty duck egg
But in yolk form, of course!

    Saturday, September 08, 2007 10:24:06 PM
Thoughts of some birds through sixth floor view
A Mountain View of misty blue
Waved to two crows to my blackest right
And brown bird left by orgonite.

    Saturday, September 08, 2007 12:48:12 AM
    So many words!
    I do not understand!
    Make one word meaningful.
    You start.

    Saturday, September 08, 2007 12:28:41 AM
I am sleepy so are you
    Tired of this chase
    So many words
    Comparisons unwanted
    Validation not required either
Let your dreams take you away too
    Far away from me
    Then again come back!
    No! Yes! Maybe? Hehehe!
    Ah you amuse me!
I stick my tongue at you. [Thursday, September 13, 2007 2:55:00 PM]

    Saturday, September 08, 2007 12:16:44 AM
In your darkness I see beauty:
    Loving always, hard path duty.
Make your sadness fart far away.
The beast within will never stay.
I want one, two, three, maybe four:
More of your smiles, lessen your wars
Show your talents, hidden from view
    Someday share your adventures too.

    Saturday, September 08, 2007 12:15:12 AM
He comes and goes as he pleases.
    After coughing up, he sneezes.

    Friday, September 07, 2007 11:54:15 PM
    I’m not gonna change
    anything at all for you
    I am not so strange

    20070907-11:32PM
    Stop the gang fight, cast
Oh, the horror! Their boxing gloves
    Bunnies, kitties: friendly youths

    20070907-07:20PM
    Another day, another knight
Sells me out time and time again!
Pitted against the unknown scums –

Wishful thinking – a flying kite
‘It’s going to happen!’ In vain:
    As slow as ‘Nine-Eleven’ comes

    20070907-02:49PM
    But wait: Is One-Nine-Eight-Four passed?
Oh, internet! You are my love.
Tell me more lies and hidden truths.

    Wednesday, September 05, 2007 2:19:46 PM
    Eruption of my pimples
    Corruption of the world

    Tuesday, September 04, 2007 10:50:51 PM
Why are you fighting your wars?
Maybe is this all because of me?
Did you find what you’re looking for?

  • 20070917-Joker’s Bet

    The powerbrokers took everything.
I have nothing left from my hard work.
They left me high and dry – all alone.
My tears are bone dry like the dessert.

I gave everything up for knowledge
by worshipping ‘God’ of love and peace.
I hate them and their Supreme Being –
Their masters of deception and lies!

My Watchers are still all around me.
They spring forth from their hiding places
    Like tonight’s solicitor for help
Amidst his coughing – missing children.

Among the bushes off their side road
    By signaling their quickened intent
In an effort to rush out and cut
Me off in traffic or my big head.

I gnash my teeth in fitful anger.
I raise my clenched fists with putrid hate.
I would be happy — let freedom ring.
    The jokers’ laughter amuses me.

A poem in response to another poem about television programs spewing nonsense as means to influence the minds of viewers. Makes me wonder if the internet is also a nice tool to shape thoughts and ideas.
