20221111-2351. I was trying to “mirror” two sites by testing how it responds to my activities.

My wpcomstaging site returned the results within seconds for smaller files – BUT returned the following message for the 12 MB file: “504 Gateway Time-out nginx”

Whereas my self-hosted site burped VERY loudly and returned the following message:

“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”

My goal is to rebuild my old post and pages from countless XML files which I completed today. I already deleted these XML files in the hopes of gaining storage space but failed: I restored/rewinded these deleted files. So now there are duplicates to fix.

After a VERY late supper, I exercised on our ZAAZ whole body vibrating machine for 12 minutes.

Then I decided to walk around for another 15 minutes while the stove oven range fan was set for the same amount of time.

The KJV Bible randomizer brought forth my single verse upon which I clicked the “Post Title” link to its associated “book” and read aloud Chapter 2.

This is what I wanted: my own Bible that’s VERY light to carry and easy to read while “on the go”!

20221111-2025. After spending the whole day importing OLD XML files into my wpcomstaging account, I deleted all OLD WordPress XML files a couple of minutes ago.

In the meantime, I received the following error message: “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you are reconnected. This post is being backed up in your browser, just in case.”

If this continues to happen, I have no choice but to ditch this self-hosting stuff and migrate back to my wpcomstaging account which has the PRO plan to be renewed annually.

Like I said, I will NOT look back on those OLD posts and pages. And all the media failed to import. That does NOT matter because I have the files scattered somewhere in my archived folders.

I didn’t regain much storage space. Eventually I will delete many more unnecessary informational and educational files that I hardly ever go back to reviews.

As I get older, things do NOT matter anymore.

20221111-0037. Over the past few months and after getting bored and tired blogging on Twatter, I was frustrated where I should blog. Now I found a home here! I am now a happy blogger!

After completing rebuilding my King James Bible project primarily connected to the WordPress randomizer feature, I completed the “migration” or importing of my new posts and pages into this self-hosted platform!

Currently, I am trying to import all my OLD XML files, some of which are duplicates or returning a 503 Gateway Timed Out error message!

I’ve import HALF of the XML files into my site with the business PRO plan to help speed things up. Then I might “test” out how the self-hosted site handles the load for larger files that fails to import properly.

Then I’ll delete these XML once and for all and NEVER look back! I need to reclaim storage space: that’s why. I may export fresh XML files later.

20221111-0027. I had to take a break from importing over 100 XML files that very OLD and duplicated! Some are too large that I would receive an error message of 503 Gateway Timed Out!

Once again, I’ve always wanted to merge these duplicated old files into my newly created WordPress account while the (business) PRO plan is still good for one year.

Lo and behold! This is made possible NOT with my primary desktop computer, but with my smartphone! I logged into the Safari web browser to accomplish the imports half-way. Tomorrow I will pickup where I left and will close my eyeballs and delete these XML files regardless if imported or NOT!

I found out during late supper last night that the smartphone and its web browser processed deleting my thousands of duplicate pages from one blog in a few minutes compared to my desktop computer that took the whole day!

After that discovery, I importing XML files was quicker!

20221111-0017. Welp, I’m messing up my blogs again.

Last night, I deleted all posts, all media, and all pages (except for the Home, Blog and Privacy Policy) and set two of my blogs to Private mode.

I deleted these duplicate files after I’ve “migrated” or rather imported these duplicate files into my self-hosted site, which seems to have stabilized after the resetting the WordPress back to default again!

Some posts from Oct 2022 failed to import. Per meditative state or incoming thoughts of inspirations, I changed the dates of the posts that failed to import from an arbitrary month of Mar 2022. And after double-check for missing posts, I changed back the month to Oct 2022.

Then I went all out, got pissed off at the SLOW process, and just deleted any/ALL duplicate KJV bible pages AND posts of mostly rants!

Now I have over 250 duplicated/old XML files to import. My intention is to delete XML files to free up storage space. That’s all.

20221110-1103. Like I said, I would be bored easily with the theme style (topography, color and layout).

And so I changed the rainbow sherbet style to my favorite dark theme mode.

Once again, I choose the dark theme style because a darker background does NOT hurt my eyeballs while reading my hand-crafted bible pages from my smartphone at night.

(Holding up a smartphone while lying in bed is much lighter than fumbling around in the dark with heavier paper-backed book.)

Since most bibles have a black book cover, a dark theme for my blog seems appropriate.

Since nobody seems to care about my “angels” site and “verses” site, I’ll stay here with my “paws” site.

So in one year, I’ll let the domains expire and downgrade to the Free (cheap) plans, which has the WordPress branding AND advertisements!

By continuing my registration with the host provider of my self-hosted platform, I can avoid both branding and advertising!

20221110-1051. After I reset the WordPress back to default again with the Reset Wizard a couple of days ago, I am now blogging without the Gutenberg blocks!

For whatever, I am using the Classic Editor and Classic Widgets plugins as per the “Recommended” tab of my plugins section.

There are two modes – Visual and Text, which is where I’m blogging.

On the lower left hand corner of these “tabs”, I can see the Word count feature.

For whatever reason, my inner thoughts seem to be manifesting into reality!

I noticed that I would be free-writing and go off the tangent and have to return my focus back to the topic per the post_title to each blog.

I wondered if I could blog and see how I could keep each blog within the maximum characters to 160, which is the limit for Front Page (Website) Meta Description.

I was thinking the maximum characters of 140 could be modeled after the Twatter site.

20221110-1024. I completed rebuilding my King James Bible project, which includes 66 “books” and 31,103 “verses” along with their landing pages called “books” and “verses”, respectively. This was done by using the Excel spreadsheet and my favorite CSV importer plugin, which worked VERY smoothly as I tried to increase the number of rows from 2,000 to 3,500.

However, after previewing the pages from my smartphone, I fixed and lined-up the HTML hard-pause coded text and would delete the previous contents and copy and paste special value and then upload XLSX file to be saved as a CSV file four times!

When I previewed my bible pages from my smartphone, the hand-crafted HTML coded text for the Page Jump link (which doubles as the “post_title”) and the two links labeled “BACK” and “NEXT” wrapped over to the next line!

So I edited the default (Page) template and place the Word of GOD atop everything else and removed the header and post_title, leaving the footer.

20221109-1758. Yup. Imma gonna keepeth thine self-hosted “paws” site. Why? No branding, no ads, no terms of THEIR/THEM services! My favorite CSV importer plug-in worked like a breezy up my shiny buttocks!

I saw the errors of my ways! What happened, was it yesterday or the day prior, that I got frustrated why my stuff would NOT import nicely. There was this one column for the post_title that did NOT line up with the rest AND the post_name was NOT set correct for the Page Jump.

So this was a simple project that after a few tries and fulfilled vision – that now I can read my Black Book Bible in the palm of my hand via the irradiation of the smartphone.

Actually I have a magnetic stand because stuff keeps slipping of my greasy palms and my grip has been weakened due to ranting vigorously, punching holes into TWO layers of silicone keyboard cover! Oh, that’s how I vent out my frustrations against TPTB and nefarious palz, who continue to spot check our hood and my routes along the roads and other peepers through wall portals, which I saw and regarded as trespassers against moi!

When y’all get used to these spiritual warfares, it’s just like shrugging my two shoulders upward with two palms facing skywards. Alors, “nothing new under the sun. Comprendez-vous? Tres bien!

20221109-0243. I’m trying to fall asleep while sitting in my computer chair. This is what happens when having too much fun creating on my platform!

I couldn’t stop fixing the layout to my blog until completely satisfied which is nearly impossible while stuck on this hellish planet.
