Here are my boring notes of boring events in my boring life via the “Memo” app of my smart/cellphone:
2005. A few minutes ago, I tried to convince Maw that the kitchen tiles are warm with bare feet. She refused to feel the differences in a certain spot in the kitchen with her bare feet. I told her that when the pipes/sewers are clogged, this area get warm. But after the plumber does a roter-rooter, the tiles don’t feel as warm. Addendum: Mar joked there might be an underground facility directly underneath the kitchen areas. Ba ha ha!
1950. Took some photos of lenticular/UFO clouds over East Bay hills where the Altamont Pass is generally located. I pointed out these clouds to Maw, past Paw who got mad at me for snapping at him to get out of the way from the back screen door. These UFO clouds look dark gray underneath — a sure sign that these shit-birds are hiding as “clouds”. I noticed a few minutes earlier around 1938 that the lighting of the backyard took on a BRIGHT yellowish tinge ALL OVER. I had to go out and found those suckers in the skies. The overcast of clouds directly over our home probably reflected the sunset in the west.
1932. Earlier today, I tried to convince the elderly twosome why Obama is taking the heat for the death of Osama Bin Laden and off the military generals/Navy Seals. But these two stubborn old farts won’t see my point of view, like most generations of the old programming who do NOT listen to their youngin’s! Anyway, in my mind, this was to protect the “power and might” of the American/military forces. Will no one believe me? Okay, then. You’re on your own, chumps!
1824. Maw talked about how she cared for patients with communicable diseases, such as small pox, tuberculosis. I recall how my auntie Maldeath wore white latex/rubber gloves to turn over/treat bed sores on her own father’s lower/boney back at the hospice. Nurses nowadays are NOT that dedicated to the care of patients. Back in those days, there was just the common cold and flu. Nowadays there are more cancer and new diseases. This could explain why nursing as a career is NOT so popular or safe anymore.
1813. Listened to “Music Choice” — Mozart, Symphony No. 40 in G Minor, Herbert B. conductor, Staatskapelie, Dresden. I then went online via my smart/cellphone and “like” a YouTube video on this concert.
1747. Maw called Tessie in Fremont. She found out that the 67 year old woman got her lefts amputated at the knees recently due to diabetes since the age of 43. (1748) She would eat lots of chocolate; couldn’t stop eating because of hunger pangs; sat down in front of the television; and didn’t realize that she needed to WALK! When she got a blister, she ignored it. She couldn’t feel anything or pain when her doctor found out long ago. The last time we saw her at Marianne’s wedding, she still had her legs. Tessie is a full Chinese and talked about how they used to cook with lots of sesame oil. Fred her husband and Alfred her elder son would take care of her. Alfred doesn’t really take care of his mother, like the Squirrel. During the phone conversation with Tessie, Maw shared how families in the Philippines are close to each other. Not a day goes by without visiting relatives. Tessie’s son is good but since he has children of his own and cannot be with her, Fred and she sleep downstairs because she cannot walk. She is wheel-chair bound. (1821)
1409. Picked up Mustang from Calabazas RV (near SJC). Got a new oxygen sensor. Failed the “Smog Check” on 04/28/2011 at the “new” station off Commerical and paid $49 but $9 retest within 30 days for $58 as if passed. Was a “Code P0141”.
1428. Bought Paw’s B-day card and two new batteries (Size CR 2025) for the remote/keyless control/entry of Paw’s Mazda Protege. After I got home, I let Paw struggle with the removal of the cover AND battery. The poor old man couldn’t figure it out while I wiped down mine due to a rusty leakage and replaced its battery. Unfortunately, I loaded mine incorrectly: Paw tested it and found out it was the “Panic” button instead of the “Lock” button. His was fine. Maw was staring clueless at the two of us as she busied herself with cooking the catfish in coconut and tumeric.
1017. Had a thought about how in the heck the floating trash upon the surface of the ocean could possibly go away! Offer old textiles for recyclables to the lava god/dess.
1000. Called/spoke with Gary who was kind enough to take in/a look at my “CHECK ENGINE” light, which went off last Saturday AND prior to getting my “Smog Check” — a synchronous sign from above, I guess.
0825. The three of us got pieces from the main Eucharist via Poi, whom Maw saw as not looking too well, almost like how Rachel looked before she became a vegetable, now living in a nursing home in Sunnyvale. Paw got a triangle; while I got a crooked vertically-shaped “Host”. Maw got hers, too.
