  • 20070506-Daily Diary

    20070504-10:49PM
    Fluffy, oil free cheap
Clouds are no legs found on sheep.
    Into twilight sleep
    Sounds of howling earful beep
    Picking boogers nostril deep

    20070504-09:29PM
    Some to come home how
    No-where, some-where, here and now
    When pigs flying avow,
    Hell freezes over allow
Or songs by fat lady cow

    20070504-06:22PM
    A feeling before
To love me as a first score
    A forgotten lore
    Through subconscious blessed snore
    Dreaming always ever more

Three more poems of ‘Qui! It’s not me but we!’ tanka in monorhyme.

    In the morning strain —
May first to fourth with some rain.
    Clear blue skies again —
    In the afternoon domain.
    Fluffy clouds and sylphs maintain.

    Stupid trails disdain:
May days of Sat and Sun pain —
    Few crisscross by planes.
    Sneezing boogers windy reign
    Sleepiness energy drain.

Two more weather-related poems of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070505-Blessed Realm

    God loves to discriminate.
    Egg first then chicken debate
Fleece white snow or gray slate
Set her curves against his straight.
    Religious dogmas and state
Childlike mind to old fart rate
    Nature and nurture create

    God loves to recriminate.
    Breaking the covenant’s crate
    Anger, jealousy and hate
    Idol worship desecrate
Steal or kill in dire strait
So hard to find a good date
    Trespass through the pearly gate

    God loves to retaliate.
    Matters by atomic weight
With hook, line, sinker and bait
False hope by ‘lying’ and wait
    Communication debate
    Harming nature mutilate
    Free-will commingled with fate

    God loves to reciprocate.
    Concept of the weightless state
    Nothingness in figure eight
    Inward – a quiet sedate
    Thoughtful sounds of plucking trait
    Unity and procreate
    Eternal truths loving mate

A poem of four, seven stanzas with seven syllables in monorhyme.

  • 20070503-Hands Off!

    Please lay me off now!
    Positive review from ‘cows tow’
    Dead weight breaking bough
Blood, sweat and tear from brow
    Not impressed by ‘Sickos’ wow.

    Boring fluffy chow
Clueless brat who, what, why, how?
    Feedback says, ‘Meow?’
Yawns loudly — my sign of Tao
Release me now freaking sacks sow!

    Not wall flower frau
    Bend over backwards to plow
    Revenge my sweet avow!
    Never depart won’t allow
    Stronger together their vow

A helpless poem frustrated out of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070502-Rambling On

To tell you the truth, I have none.
I learn to read and write for pun.
    My realities here have begun.
My truths are your zeros to done.
I wish to go outside and run.
Warm my cold bones under the sun
Fears of being under the gun
All by myself and just for fun
Laughing at me poked by their shun
Does not matter if we are one
Does not matter if I have won
Or if I’m your daughter or son
Or if I weigh a big fat ton
Or if I pray as priest or nun
Drink some water and eat my bun.
    Physical beauty shining stun
    Spiritual awareness always spun
Nobody cared — work left undone.

Another attempt at soliloquy poem of eight syllables in monorhyme.

  • 20070501-Occipital Delusion

    Cons problem fusion
    More lies brought on reaction
    Mixing solution
    Noisy ‘Babel’ allusion
    Human-ease in collusion

    Thoughts form diffusion
    The ‘new way’ resolution
    Loving infusion
    Forgive our revolution
    Forget nothing conclusion

Two more self-fulfilling samples of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070501-Naughty Ties

    Have helpless ants won?
What is this spinning square sun?
    Is God and Man One?
Shall I go outside and have fun
or ‘come back’ as remain as none?

    Do believers gloss?
Is fate a flipping coin toss?
    Are we our own boss?
Where is the will with no cross?
Is war without faith a loss?

    Questions are bizarre!
Answers are close yet so far.
    Truths are not on par.
    Light-bringer and morning star –
    Lucifer in constant raw.

Ankh – Tau cross, life soul
    With God’s will, there’s Yahweh’s goal
Ra – hawk head, god Sol
    Within and without as whole
    Love, compassion – mixing bowl

Four more ancient samples of early morning tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070430-Daily Diary

    Slowly waking cold
    Banking homeless woman old
    No cash eyeballs rolled
Pay high smelly gas price bold
    Triple venti mocha sold

    Fifteen hundred walk
    Twice around the working block
    Wispy sylphs’ flock
    Greetings sending wind sheer shock
    Two guys walking greetings rock

    Sleepiness tonight
Gray clouds high winds mighty flight
    Parakeets sleep slight
    ‘Maw’s aching muscle pain plight
    ‘Paw’ as usual polite

    Top noodles not right
    Chocolate ice cream bar right
    Pray rosary blight
    Mumbling without excite
    Itchy eyes restful calm night

Four more mundane samples of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070429-Branding Broad

    Branding on cow hide
    His airhead’s ring finger pride
    Shining as I eyed
My fake smile not true but wide
    A new battle from inside

    One year I have died.
    Helpfulness from me denied
    Hidden hands are tied.
    Symbolic sign time divide
Door shut tight to my outside

    Angered thoughts collide.
    Blood green bile cast aside
    Hatred too reside
Far from heart but close beside
New sister on the far side.

Three dark samples of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070429-Daily Diary

    Early morning sweat
    Fan blowing as cooling debt
    Toss and turning fret
How much hotter could this get?
    Cooler later as my bet

    Not so hot or wet
Wisps among one trail of jet
    Over house we met
    Morning of glory wispy net
    Transmuting trails of threat

    Lunch of the triplet
    Veggie chicken soup rice set
    Noon appetite whet
Warm spring breeze to us beset
Rest on couch watch t.v. set

    Cleaning of the pet
    Warm water washing upset
    Sit still birds regret
Hot sun and clear blue skies let
    Paper towel silhouette

    Green thumb of duet
    Transplant cactus brown bowls set
    Potting soil to pet
Sweet pea shrub in brown reset
Not bad for heads of brunette

Five more green samples of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070429-Dust Balls

    Ego in Jesus
Man made image in God – us
    ‘Fund-a-mentals’ fuss
    Words written turned into pus
    ‘Babel’ thumpers in old bus

    Open minds discuss
    Playing without toys of puss
    Or threaten a cuss
Being true and not a wuss
    Less sensitive to disgusts

    Christ always nonpluss
    Questions with answers: a plus.
    Compassion won’t rusts
    Truth complies and so adjusts
    Love always without distrusts

Three more faithful samples of tanka in monorhyme.

First sound ‘Om’ for groupie fan
    God-daughter green Anne!
    True light being of Diane
    Conquering might D’arc Joanne

    Lady Lovely clan
    First of His flowering plan
    Thoughts form as we scan
    Faster than light truth began
Neither time nor space or span

Two more secular samples of tanka in monorhyme.
