    In recent news, I see that deaths must occur before any action must be taken to correct the faults. Why is that people must suffer for the misdeeds of others?

    WASHINGTON – The Transportation Department plans to open a formal investigation into the 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla over potential problems with the car’s power steering, a department official said Wednesday.

    The preliminary investigation is expected to be opened on Thursday and involves an estimated 500,000 vehicles. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the department had not yet notified Toyota of the probe.

  • 20100216-Hazy Sun

    After taking my shower to wash away my iniquities and grim from this afternoon’s gardening, I sit and soak in the sun filtering through the closed windows upstairs. I’m listening to more guitar sounds of `Chi Mai by Ennio Morricone` via a downloaded YouTube.com. It’s soothing sound to the nerves as the sun shines wearily through light white to gray haziness while the red and brown muck can be ever so slightly seen below the horizon and in the distant westward hills of the Bay Area.

  • 20100216-Adding Favorites

    Last night, I’ve listened to old YouTube.com videos, which I downloaded into my computer. Then I browsed around for more music videos and added some to my `Favorites` in my YouTube.com account `flynnspaws’s Channel`. Some of my favorites included:

    Mantovani

    Annunzio Paolo Mantovani (November 15, 1905 – March 29, 1980), known by the mononym Mantovani, was a popular conductor and light orchestra-style entertainer with a cascading strings musical signature. He is more associated with the light orchestra genre than any other entertainer.

    Other favorite music videos include the string instruments (such as ukulele, guitar and piano). The music genres are: New Age, orchestration, etc…

  • 20100215-Dead Man

    While Maw and I were exercising to the `Flashback` medley music of the oldies, something caught my attention. There appeared to be a face on the coverlet of the cushion for our barcalounger!

    The face looked square and equally wide to its length. The eyes were closed, almost shut tight from pain. Maw said it looked like Buddha. In my mind I saw an Olmec or a Polynesian and thought of Pete or at least a Native American Indian.

    Maw instructed me to strip off this coverlet and the original cover for this cushion and wash the offending face away. She had prayed for the image to go in peace and sprinkled it with holy water. But she felt that I needed to add some more holy water, along with the liquid soap and into the washer.

    The twosome came over prior to eating lunch, which we were just warming up. The boy gave Maw and me Valentine cards. Her family gave me a red envelope containing $10.00 (or five bills of $2.00): That’s for Chinese New Years and is given to single, unmarried persons, like moi! Here are four scanned images.

  • 20100209-Tickle Me

    Do you remember `Tickle Me Elmo`?

    Tickle Me Elmo, is a children’s toy from Tyco-Prescool, a division of Tyco Toys. It was introduced in the United States in 1996, becoming that year’s top fad. Bright red in color and based on Elmo, a Muppet character from Sesame Street, when squeezed, Elmo would chortle. When squeezed three times in a row, Elmo would begin to shake and laugh hysterically.

    Out of sheer boredom and a reason to laugh out loud, I viewed a recent YouTube.com video of two boys having “fun” again a few minutes ago. The older brother was tickling his younger (asthmatic?) brother.

    Of course, I had to take a breather or else pop a nice vein or two in my noggin. Click the link to hear the audio:

    Then my mind made yet another connection. And I do recall sending out `tickling thoughts` to the boys prior or after the time that the video was uploaded on February 06, 2010. I’d figured it was before the upload. Then again, I’m fast getting old and cannot remember. I’d better stop thinking too much or out loud to myself and keep my imaginations to myself. Sheesh!

  • 20100208-Keep Praying

    Maw finally finished talking to the Bitter one for the past two hours starting at around 20:00pm tonight. In summary of Maw’s brief conversation with the impatient moi, I’ve learned the following:

    `When in doubt or distress, don’t loose faith. It’s God’s will but ask Jesus for help. When you don’t have the time and money, there is always prayers`.

    I am then reminded of the boy’s lack of faith and continued arrogance within earshot of the Lord, of course, as in the following dialogue exchange below:

    Maw: Son, I notice you don’t attend weekly mass.

    Boy: Don’t test my faith in God!

    He makes all sorts of excuses and externalizes his inner demons by blaming the crowds, which make him anxious, the hard pews, which makes sitting down unbearable, and the boring mass, which distracts his already ADD symptoms.

    I will then make the comparison between the boy and the President, both of whom I find contempt but mercy, nonetheless for their ignorance in the truth about faith:

    Prayers do work, somehow when least expected. The answers will appear when necessary AND only when it is NOT too late to CHANGE the course of action. But when the injury and damage have already been done, don’t expect God to heal amputees, for example. BUT, again anything possible, like bionic (or cloned) parts for these amputees.

    As Maw has said many times in the past:

    `God works in mysterious ways`.

    We could learn from the wise woman Maw and Barack Obama in the `power of prayer`:- So for the critics, such as moi, there is reason to live without fear or pain and that’s by keeping the VERY strong impulses of the EGO of each person from imploding on itself.

  • 20100208-Smart Ego

    At around 22:50pm tonight, I’ve finished watching five YouTube.com videos on how to destroy the `Ego`. I’ve learned that the enemy is within oneself, that blaming an external `Satan` or `Devil` is really the outward expression of one’s PAIN!

    So, take for example, my pain: It’s the suffering of others. And how do I alleviate their suffering? I donate my time and money. But then who really suffers? The enemy, who is really me, suffers from knowing that it could only hurt itself by denying what hurts in the first place, giving up that which causes pain – time and money. That’s profound!

    Then I saw the following news article titled:

    TEHRAN, Iran – The head of the Iran’s atomic agency says it will not enrich uranium to a higher level if the West provides fuel for the Tehran research reactor.

    On the attached photo, showing Iran’s nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi, tours an exhibition on laser technology in Tehran, of that news article, I see a smiling face.

    Based on viewing the five videos and seeing this one article, I see no reason why not to TRUST Iran AND each other and give it up and stop externalizing `Satan’s` ego. Maybe then there would be peace – on earth and goodwill towards all.

  • 20100208-More Spooks

    Here is a recent photo showing a helicopter hovering in our neighborhood, just south of our home. (Photo taken on 2/8/2010 3:40:49 PM).

    I am assuming that `they` are looking for that wandering and probably lost white boy, who has a DEFINITE speech disability. Once again and because of being too stupid, he probably needed help earlier this morning.

    I should have told him to wait while I called for help. But Maw and Paw responded generically, assuming he was a sales person: `We are not interested.`

    We thought that maybe the city was doing a general surveillance of the neighborhood and which property didn’t comply with city code as far as building patios that are too close to shared fences, like ours.
