    Hah! I’ve gotten a courtesy message on my Dashboard. It reads as:

    “Tip: Your syndication feeds are set to show the most recent 100 posts. Change it to 10 or 15 posts to make your feed load faster.”

    Well, I better change the settings again!

  • 20110802-Trying Theme

    I’ve switched to Theme: Benevolence by Theron Parlin. For a long time, I knew this theme had my favorite time/date stamps for both the index and post pages. I like this one because it boxes in the “Comment replies” VERY nicely. The theme, hover, lacks lots of other features found in other themes.

    If only team Automattic and pals allows us buy/customize a theme’s hard-code with a simple drop-and-drag feature, that would be wonderful. So far, we are stuck with the theme designers version. Everything else is eye-candy to me.

  • Appeal to emotion…

    Hello boys and girls! Here is today’s word: Appeal to emotion.

    Appeal to emotion is a potential fallacy which uses the psychological and encompasses several logical fallacies, including:

    For example, these politicians are evil entities. Instead of discussing the details of any bills and laws and especially this debt crisis, these fools continue a psychological warfare by using “appeal to emotion”, a logical fallacy. Instead of solving the problems in jobs and in the economy during the first three years of Obama’s presidency, they wait until the last minute and expect a miracle to happen when the Republicans came on board as majority of the House in January 2011. The people are not stupid. Get real and stop spinning the truth. Your karma will keep you trapped on this prison planet if you continue to lie and deceive us.

  • Shut up, please…

    Eveytime Obama opens his mouth, he keeps repeating the same thing – reminding us of the problems. I expected that he would provide us the solutions – a summary of highlights and details of what is being planned “behind closed doors”. Obama talks too much and he should change his policy.

    The elites continue to screw “common people”. They are insane to think this debt deal will solve the crisis. So this is a ten year plan, eh? Nothing came out of my plan for the past decades and probably never will come to fruition.

    And why was the Congress and the MSM reminding us of Gabby’s gun shot wound to the head and using the word “terrorists” to describe the “Tea Party” yesterday? Why are these (evil) entities reminding us problems that they have created instead of fixing their own mess?

  • Stir-fried, lasagna noodles…

    Here is an easy receipe:

    -Mix lasagna flavor pack from Hamburger Helper in cold water.
    -Boil one package of 12 oz. “No Yolks” cholesterol free egg white paste and pasta from Hamburger Helper.
    -Mix cooked noodles and flavor pack well.

    —

    -Brown chopped garlic and then the onion in veggie oil.
    -Add chopped tomato without the skin and cook a little.
    -Add ground pork (well mashed) and cook a little.
    -Mix ingredients and noodles well.
    -Serve warm and enjoy!

  • Feed image…

    At 12:45am and just when I was ready to turn off my computer, I decided to “troll” my feeds. Of course, one of the feed happens to be a WordPress.com blogger, a provider of positive feedback of all sorts to my weblog in the form of “Comments”.

    Anyway, I clicked on the feed and no new entries on his dream blog. For whatever reason, I went to use my mouse to click on his his cute baby pic. Lo and behold, the “title” attribute show a tag of two words: “Feed image”.

    Now I could only assume that the baby pic is hungry. So I sent “it” my happy thoughts and waved my right hand over the screen and bade it well.

  • Keeping current theme…

    If it were not for the header image by “Jr” for the Theme: Pilcrow by Automattic, I would have switched WordPress.com theme again. So to make sure I do not offend the artistic support, I will keep this theme until I get REALLY bored. So far it’s okay for now, except like “Jr” mentioned the “Tagline” is at the bottom; while my time/date stamp is in a location above the post title instead of below that element.

  • Back to normal blogging…

    Blogging via a regular computer is much faster because of the keyboard and the use of BOTH HANDS; whereas blogging via a cellphone keyboard and/or using the SWYPE technology makes my thoughts flow much SLOWER! Perhaps I should try recording my voice and let my mouth do the talking instead of keeping my thoughts silenced in my short and long term memory, by which will be forgotten without taking notes or at least saving a “Memo” on my cellphone.

    Sometimes I wish technology improves much faster. But because back-engineering by and of UFO technology is going TOO slow, I won’t know what’s it like in my lifetime to post a blog entry with a mere thought! Now that’s WAY into the future. And that’s how I like it: daydreaming in the hopes that I could reincarnate to find out how blogging evolves.

  • Diminishing blogging returns…

    I am experiencing “diminishing (marginal) returns” on blogging. Posting more frequently doesn’t give me the return I had expected in the long run.

    Posting daily only give me a temporary high until I need to check my emails and comments for any sign of life.

    Replying to lots of Comments recently by “Jr” doesn’t make blogging any better than before I realized there were other people blogging.

    Subscribing to their feeds and comments was actually tedious and while I tried to “Like” their posts, I didn’t really care.

    The value of publishing contents is no longer appreciated.

    And the increase in Post Views, Search Terms, Clicks or Referrers doesn’t tell me anything.

  • Want one Stats features…

    Since the Contact Support page doesn’t work, I want the following improvement for the “Stats” tab of my WordPress apps (Version 1.4.1):

    1. Allow links to pages found under the “Post Views” and “Search Terms” selections.
