  • Hiding again…

    Yesterday, the boy used us to hide from his Chinese in-laws and the girl. He called and asked Paw to pick him up at his home because giys car was loaded with gear for tomorrow. He wanted me to help him with giys junk sheng he has his wife to manipulate.

    Maw asked him where is the girl. He replied that she wasn’t at home and then that she was at home hosting another party. Of course he wasn’t pleased about the girl using his house to entertain her family only, like the last time she did without inviting us.

    We suspect that she is feeding him something to turn his heart away from his OLD family and turn him into a hen-peck husband who has nowhere to turn but to believe in her superstitious tradition, a form of brainwashing and fear mongering.

    But because he failed to listen his family, he was so desperate to marry someone who disregarded his OLD family. He was reminded how selfish he and the girl have treated his OLD family before, during and after Bill’s funeral and luncheon Friday.

    The people during the funeral noticed how these two mistreated us and it is no surprise how word has gotten around among family and friends. I wonder if his Facebook friends know the truth and the charade these two are playing with each other and unwitting suckers.

    The boy was just annoying on Saturday evening as he was during lunch on Thursday, July 22 when he stormed out of the house, just like Uncle Dead in an emotional fit of having hurt feelings for bring up the imagined weight loss of the girl over over days since Bill’s death.

    He is doomed to live with that failure in life until he is honest with himself that he married the wrong woman and until he tells her the truth about how disrespectful she has been toward us and our Filipino tradition, including being childless.

  • Noticing two weblog symbols…

    While admiring the nice background image on my WordPress.com weblog site, I just noticed something naughty from TPTB and pals. Hahaha! The smiley face (of the “Clean House” theme) is amusing itself.

    Earlier this evening, I was experimenting with the “Tag Cloud” widget on the theme’s “Header widget area with big font size”. The word “death” lined up between the eyes of the background images. I was not amused.

    Hello! Who are you? What are you? What do you want from me?

  • Playing grown-ups…

    I just realized something. The reason why people are psychotic is because they are taking life too seriously. For whatever reason, playing has lost meaning for adults. Grown-ups need to learn how to have more fun instead of worrying about being hard-working robots.

    No wonder there is evil in this world. Illness is due to no humor. Perverts are symptoms of grown-ups confusing reality with make-believe.

  • Testing theme options…

    OMG! I just sampled four colors from the “Clean Home Theme Options”:

    • Light — Lightens background image. Red header fonts.
    • Dark — Blacks out the background image.
    • Snowy — Washes background image. Blue header fonts.
    • Sunny — Warms background image! Brown header fonts. I like this one because I can see the image better! But I think the reading might be more difficult than with the “Light” color scheme.

    Big android

    My favorite reading/writing spot is not at a local coffee shop or at the library but at home, more specifically upstairs in my computer bedroom. Here there is peace andx quiet. If there is too much noise, I tend to loose my train of thought and probably won't remember what I wanted to write. Usually my reading of news articles from the computer desk. But with my new Android cellphone, I could read and wrie almost anywhere, as long as I'm in one spot.

  • So stupid…

    The three sisters seem to care about the family more than the oldest sister and that girl. Even the didn’t say much to his OLD family during the viewing and funeral. The girl is still hovering around the boy who was sitting with his parents.

    Why are they scared if they look at the dead body? Why are these Chinese following traditions that don’t make sense? And why do they believe in stupid symbols that mean nothing to the deceased?

    I think the living are making up nonsense and creating fear in the minds of stupid people. Here is my theory: ancient shape-shifters buried the deceased but prior to the burial they had to drain the blood. Why waste nutrients?

    Anyway, I am sick and tired of mutli-culturalism. All it does is impose their ways over our ways. The boy wasted his time and our sentiments over people who can’t seem to adapt to Westernized ways.

    If only a nice, short and beautiful Filipina who has the passion to do what the boy likes in life, then I am sure his OLD family would rest in peace. For crying out loud, I can’t understand their broken English! Dammit!

    You can’t continue to borrow to cover debt. You must cut spending! It is that plain and simple. Or just default and file for bankruptcy.

    Between 3:00am to 3:13am, I awoke with a scratchy throat and coughed. Then I used the toilet.

    I had an inspiration to use a nice background theme showing “The Shepherdess” as suggested by “Jr” and tested several WordPress.com themes until I found “Clean Home” worked best.

    I recall fragments of a dream in which there was a flood. Lots of people were around. Daylight was bright. And the rising waters could be seen on my “right field of vision”.

    I hollered: “Maw”. As I reached to grab straw-like reeds of hay that seemed like bananas. I imagined some people (circular heads) as represented among the stones to keep the waters dammed up.

    Later, the rescue and prayers were said. I don’t remember if there were survivors or if I used a boat or other floating device to get around the flooded area.

  • Trying Theme: Clean Home

    I am currently trying Theme: Clean Home by Mid Mo Design. This is the ONLY WordPress.com theme that works well to allow SOME transparency to the background image of “The Shepherdess (1889) By William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905).

    Other themes, such as “Koi”, “Liquorice” and “Neutra”, allow for full transparency of the background image but it makes reading difficult. With “Clean Home”, one could barely see the image without using the “zoom feature” or compromising the reading.

    The “zoom feature” of my internet browser handles well (either “zoom in” using “Control and Minus sign” or “zoom out” using “Control and Plus sign”). By using the “zoom featuer” one could see the background image in it entirety.

    For the “Display option” found under the “Background”, I set the following:

    • Position Background Position — Center;
    • Repeat Background Repeat — Tile; and
    • Attachment Background Attachment — Scroll.
  • Testing background…

    At 3:13am, I finally logged into my computer. A thought occurred to me: I want to try a nice background for my theme. Unfortunately, the size is too big and only the mugshot is the prominent feature to the weblog. It looks like though. But I’ll have to test the themes, too.

    Wow! That’s insane! I’ve gotten one-thousand comments, most of which are mine from the past. I wonder if WordPress has an archive for “comments”, just like for “posts”. My idea! Copyright! Whatever.
