20250330-1806. Greetings, chumps! In an effort to “optimize my site’s SEO”, I edited my Site Title to reflect and merge the former Flynn’s Blog site with Flynn’s Paws. And so I came up with Flynn’s (Paws) Blog.

There really is NO “Paws”, which is a possessive pro/noun of whatever, a more “furry” version to a hu-man/man-kind “hands”. Get it? Never mind.

For the site’s Tagline, I queried LEO AI/Brave, which presented to me two versions: “Pawsome adventures and furry tales from Flynn’s perspective” and “Daily musings and adventures from Flynn’s perspective”.

I had to change my Site Title again for clutter/width: Flynn’sPaws Blogs. This still does NOT look correct. Then again I should try “FlynnsPaws Blogs” or “Flynn’s Paws Blogs”, which is more correct.

Again, I am “Flynn”. The “musing” part uses “paws” for my adventures or “blogs”. So I should probably rename my Site Title as Blogs by Flynn, a Paws daily musings and adventures.

I give-up! It’s like saying ‘I penned my blogs”. Instead, this is keyboarding with paws. And we know paws are different from fingers, which are better equipped for blogging on computer keyboards!

It’s like saying “armchair warrior”, which was the original imagery before coming up with “paws” instead of “hands”. That would be weird FlynnsHands! See? I could find a domain name for ArmchairWarriorFlynn!

How about “BloggingPawsFlynn” or “PawsomeBlogFlynn”?

Again, I queried LEO AI/Brave, which gave me more ideas.

I narrowed by possible Site Title choice to “Flynn’s Paws: A Personal Blog” and Site Tagline as “Musings, Reflections and Thoughts. Mostly rants.”

I have to make the distinction that this is a personal blog only and NOT some professional author/blogger/writer.

I give up. I just queried LEO AI/Brave to generate more Site Taglines. I can’t make up my mind! End transmissiom 18444 PST.

20250330-1510. Happy Sunny Sunday! There fluffy puffy clouds of white against crispy clear blues and strong winds blowing through my opened master bedroom window!

Lo and behold my Jetpack Boost Mobile Score is 94! But without Jetpack Boost, the mobile score is lower at 61. So paid upgrades are helpful for weblog sites.

I tried the Evening color style and then the Afternoon/greenish color style, which gave me a lower mobile score. But after I chose the Default/white color scheme the mobile score increased.

If the mobile score is higher, then those with poor internet/slow network connection/DSL whatever could view faster/quicker my default landing page, which I had to streamline heavily.

I compromised and remove all/any unnecessary clutter from my default front home landing page. So far the three “blocks” (Query Loop, Top Posts & Pages and Content Carousel) are serving VERY well my latest posts.

So two days ago/March 28, my dad and I went shopping at our local grocery store SWY after we visited his butt-hole doctor, who suggested some sort of fiber to mix into the water, once to twice daily, and to follow-up or cancel another visit in two months.

When we arrived at the produce section, a loud-mouthed white, err, Mestizo or Hispanic/Latino, basically, kept repeating the words “crazy” from our left side and towards a male to our right side.

These damn whitish, mixed-up retards are really stupid/idiotic. As a fellow TI, I would get satanic NPCs using the word “crazy” around me for many many years. I mumbled under my breath “loco-loca” many times. That means “crazy” in their stupid language. I also said under my breath “seloso” which means “jealous” in their stupid language.

We bough lots of fruits, desserts, and chicken parts. But I forgot completely my cooking oil! That was one of the reason for going to this place.

On March 19, my dad and I shopped for grocery at our local warehouse COST. And a different but prettier Oriental clerk threw her horizontal plastic grocery divider when it was our time to check-out. The other time was a similar height but whitish, err, Hispanic/Latino who also threw her horizontal plastic grocery divider for the next customer.

Yeah, so besides my tweaking my weblog site, blogging and ranting about incidences at the food stores and reporting ongoing illegal dumping, consider y’all cursed. Damned idiots.

20250330-0908. Greetings, chumps! Happy Sunday! I didn’t see a whole lotta rain from last night, though we’re expecting rain for three days. There is an overcast of white clouds and some blue skies. The temperature is cold. There is some slight wind.

Anyways, I switched back to theme 2025 and I had a difficult time understanding the “Inner blocks use content width” Layout feature, which I kept toggling on and off.

Also, I kept adding/deleting Groups and I had a difficult time getting the headers and the borders aligned correctly with the content width!

I kept tweaking the two templates: Blog Home and Single Posts. I wanted my Details blocks and their top 1px borders to align correctly but adjusting the width was challenging. I do NOT know what I was doing!

I had to go into the Global settings/Site Editor > Styles > Layout > Dimensions and change the Content Width, which is set similarly to WP news blog and/or per LEO AI/Brave and/or the current POTUS and the Wide Width, which is set to my single residence/home address number.

Whenever I switch themes, I would have to reset the dimensions to both the Minimum and Maximum width layouts each time. I guess each theme’s global settings would revert automatically to default. That’s strange, because I paid PREMIUM to avoid this inconvenience whenever I would switch themes!

That’s all for now. I exercised my neck from recalling an OLD YT video footage of how doing this particular Oriental exercise would minimize going to office visits. As instructed by one of the main DC, a fat glob Oriental from last month, I’m supposed to be stretching. Last month, I awoke to a very stiff neck and my upper back had a protruding nugget which is smashed down really good. So this is lifetime of slow degeneration, err, aging. 20250330-0039. Early morning, chumps! Briefly, I tried theme Assembler, which had 43 different colors/styles after trying briefly theme LeanCV! The width for both Header and Footer from theme Assembler was too YUGE and I didn’t like it. And the fancy Profile Portfolio for theme LeanCV squished my left column but NOT too badly.

I reverted back to theme Twenty Twenty-Five because it’s the Free theme and handles the templates and widths okay.

This time I’ll just stick to the latest posts instead of the two static pages for my Front/Home page and Posts Pages.

I just regenerated my Jetpack Boost Critical CSS twice or thrice and finally my Mobile Score has increased to 94! I liked this score!

I could see that a one-page website suits my needs, because I blog and nothing more.

I tried to squeeze my Search Archives widgets below my Query Loop blocks but the Mobile Scores were VERY angry at me and gave me a mediocre number around the 70s and I did NOT like that result.

So I removed my Search Archives. (There is a static page for Archives anyways.) But my Mobile Score was still NOT high enough!

So I removed the ‘Excerpt’ block from the remaining nine Query Loop blocks. Et Voila!

I’m happy to say that my “default landing page” is set (for now until I get bored) with only three essential blocks: Query Loop, Top Posts & Pages, and Content Carousel.

20250329-1339. I read the latest WP news blog about “how to build a one-page website. And so (once again if I recall barely) that I mentioned how I designed my FRONT-COVER Page to include the: Header, Intro, Content/hard-core meat-and-potatoes), Follow (which is a “hybrid” that exists somewhere in between Contacting and Subscribing) and Footer.

I still have/can’t really delete my “traditional” static pages, which are visible through in my Header as a Navigation menu. But for the default landing page, the Intro is “About Flynn”, the Content displays my latest posts (modeled after the WP news blog website) because I really do NOT offer any “Services” and neither “Testimonials” nor a “Portfolio or Gallery”, and the “Read Our Feed”, which I stuck with the Footer.

These nice SEO tips really do help in designing websites. I have only four “images”: a Gravatar, my blog full of logs, my footer wrapper from theme WP-DOS and a Profile Portfolio of my two paws from Canva dot com.

I just regenerated the Jetpack Boost Critical CSS and now my Mobile Score is 73. I guess there is still TOO much clutter going on with my current Front Page template. Oh well.

Today is sunny and the temperature is still cold. We are expecting rain tomorrow/this coming Sunday. And since my broken lawn mower was cutting the grass at a lower height level of number three instead of my preferred highest setting level of number five, the front yard lawn is looking dried/ yellowish!

This is probably because of the weed and feed or the grass has a limited life expectancy. So our front yard lawn needs some nice rain. Thanks. End of transmission 1353 PST.

20250329-0649. Greetings, chumps! Happy Saturday/Sabado! I’ve been awake early since 04:30 whatever. And since I was wide awake and have been experiencing “pain in the neck”, I’ve switched themes and landed on theme LeanCV!

In the olden days, I complained and whined about tweaking my weblog site and how I liked the greenish colors from theme Seedlet (blocks), which I used during my first ever self-hosted site with this same domain name at one time.

Lo and behold! I’ve chosen the darkest of seven color schemes/styles, which is called “Moss” like partially my street name where I am squatting, err, residing currently/temporarily until SFTF when and if the Heavenly Father decides the fate of pensioner, err, property owner who deserves better, err, a more patience and tolerant care-giver.

Anyways, I tweaked all the default templates to theme JazzyGrid and reused those same templates for/to override the default templates of LeanCV. So I tried to retain the original template layouts of theme JazzyGrid but I had to “force” my own designs, especially for the Single Posts template and Blog Home template.

The theme LeanCV has a default Front Page template that won’t ever go away, meaning I can-NOT simply “Delete” this template, because it is NOT an “optional” template, which could be “deleted” anytime.

So I’ll have to keep clicking around/viewing endlessly on my weblog site for any anamolies. That’s all. It’s time to open the wooden vertical blinds and open the back door and kitchen window momentarily to air-out/vent the stale indoor airs as part of my morning ritual. End transmission 0702 PST.

0749 PST: Addendum. Theme LeanCV has the following colors: Default/light bluish, Rose, Hunter, Ultraviolet, Cinnabar, Sapphire, and Moss.

20250327-1847. Welp, I managed to mow the front yard lawn after breaking off the right rear red-colored adjustable height lever. I wedged the broken piece between an opening where the wheel would normally be mounted and up against the offending/sheared-off piece. That’s worked off-and-on as I struggled to restart the lawn mower via already slightly broken red-colored starter button whenever the motor died from being forced to mow-down the lower than expected tall lawn from last week! This happened maybe a handful of times while the PGE dot com construction workers were stationed on the “Rue”, which is northwest from our corner lot.

I usually start my mowing in the first of three section nearest the driveway and then proceed to the second section nearest our front porch and then lastly to the third second in between the first two. I mow in a counter-clockwise direction to give that “eyeball” design from the outer edges of each section and ending somewhere in the middle. The third section is where my “eyeball” design is noticeable from close-up but I’m NOT too sure about from far-away.

But because the damned lever kept popping-off and because I have to squat and struggle to force back my make-shift wedge using the broken off piece, the height of my front yard lawn was much lower and revealed the drier more yellowish and light greenish bottoms portions of the hidden grass! The motor would constantly cut-out because the broken-off piece kept popping-off! I was pissed-off at GOD and those demons. Fucking idiots!

Anyways, the struggle too longer than expected as I stopped after the first two runs. I had to bring the damned machine to the backyard and try to repair it. I also ordered but canceled a similar but new lawn mower, because both rear wheels would be totally flat against the surface and there was NO way to push the mower when it’s just stuck and dragging!

After I used the almighty duct tape to anchor successfully the broken off piece against it counterpart and after I finished-off mowing the front yard lawn, I went indoors to see if I could have the damned thing repaired per my dad’s request earlier. While I failed to get a claim which was NOT approved and denied, my dad took longer than expected also to complete sweeping up the grass clippings.

I had used the electric blower VERY quickly because when using the high speed, there is approximately ten minutes of battery power. So I had to blow off some grass clippings trapped in between our black chain link fence and some fluffy brown seeds from off the side walk and onto the northwestern planter strip and then further onto the curb and/or gutter, where I further blew-off towards the awaiting piles of yellow flowering oxalis ground covering and other plant life forms that an elderly Oriental guy would dump (illegally) with his red wheelbarrow onto the city’s street nearest the adjacent/northwestern-facing area of maintenance of the Chinese neighbor living directly behind us.

Then I hurried to recharge the dead lithium ion battery pack for my green-colored electric blower, hose-down my broken lawn mower and then dry-off with my electric blower (after the battery pack was fully charged), prepare lunch, cut dad’s hair, take my much-needed shower, do one load of dark clothes laundry, distill one liter of municipal faucet water, archive my files of mostly screenshots from over two days, restart the router several times due to my cameras by gulag kept going offline, and blog some more here.

Now I’ll have to prepare our late supper. The time is 1911 PST. End of transmission. P.S. I managed to just remove the duct tape because it failed after it got wet from hosing down my broken lawn mower and opted just to wedge the broken piece against its broken counterpart without duct tape. Amazingly, this holds but at the number three setting instead of my preferred and higher wheel setting at number five. FFS.

Anyways, I’m back to my favorite theme Blank Canvas, which has my customized WH DJT 45-47 color/styles.

I have NO choice but to stick to this theme, because this is the only theme which seems to allow me to see/edit my published pages! I keep forgetting that I should NOT switch themes, going forward.

Yeah, so I’ll just let my latest posts be my default landing page under the Readings Settings section of my dashboard. I’m assuming this would “help” with the algorithms.

20250326-1552. Behold! While meditating on what two other items to add (modeling after the WP news blog site) a while ago, my Front / Blog Home / default landing page now features yet another WP widget called “Content Carousel”, which I placed underneath of the other three WP widgets: “Blog Posts”, “Query Loop” and “Top Posts & Pages”!

I have NOT yet regenerated the Critical CSS and I would expect my Jetpack Boost Mobile Score to decrease with this added/extra “load”. With yet another pending/unknown item to add to my Front / Blog Home / default landing page, I would expect yet another decrease in my Mobile Score! It’s 1557 PST and I regenerated the Critical CSS and the Mobile Score is now 86 (with the Jetpack Boost) or 83 (without the Jetpack Boost)!

I guess I’ll have to grin-and-bear-it/accept that this is the best I could do. Otherwise, I’ll just have the plain old default / most recent / latest blog posts without all these extra customizations. Either way, I’m happy with my latest inspiration or incoming thought to include four Pages featuring my OLD sites.

The Content Carousel offer a combination of presenting Posts and / or Pages, which in my case I only opted to display four of my “featured” Pages. And for the sake of “consistency”, I stuck this Content Carousel block/widget inside a Details block, which is set to the Maximum Width, which is in between None width and Full Width.

20250326-1423. Since I’m NOT using my FRONT-COVER static page as my default front home landing page, I’m using the Page No Title template.

This is because using the default/my customized Pages template is set to the default Minimum width.

I needed a separate template to force/pickup the Full Width. So I figured hey I’ll use the Page No Title template instead of the optional Front Page template, which mysteriously got VERY angry at me.

This was because I cloned my Archives page into the Front Page template. And when I viewed my site through the Jetpack app for iPhone, there was an empty margin to the right!

So this subtle nudge/trigger from the Matrix- like grid said that I should NOT use “Archives” for my beautiful FRONT-COVER page and that I should stick to the nicer “Bento Grid” and “Checker” patterns from theme Kentwood.

20250326-1348. Anyways, I reverted back to theme 2025 and I’m using the “Evening” color/style, which is blackish/sans-serif; whereas the “Twilight” color/style is also darkish/purplish with serif, which is harder to read because of the fat/bold font.

So in this section, I just copied from my CONTACT page and pasted the elements into this pattern called “Services, subscriber only section”, in which the Jetpack default is set for those NOT to receive email updates/notifications. Instead of email subscription services, I customized this section with two links: one for “following” our reader feeds and the other for reading more of our latest blog posts.

I borrowed this “idea” from the WP news blog. So basically my Blog Home template/default landing page is also modeled after the WP news blog. The original was in three parts: Featured/Blog Posts; Query Loop (offset by 1 blog post) and Popular or Top Posts & Pages. Then there are three more elements from the WP news blog, which I didn’t add. But I added the fourth part for those who want to “follow” a feed.

Now my Jetpack Boost Mobile Score increased but it’s still far from being 100% perfect like my Desktop Mobile Score.
