  • Updated my front page meta description

20250407-1802. There is this “Marketing and Integration” tool for my website’s “Traffic Settings” via my site’s default Dashboard > Tools > Marketing called “Website Meta”, where I could “Craft a description of your Website up to 160 characters that will be used in search engine results for your front page, and when your website is shared on social media sites.”

So I queried LEO AI/Brave to “create 160-characters for my “Website Front Page Meta Description”, flynnspaws, flynn & paws, blog, kjv audio bible. This is my new “Front Page Meta Description”:

“Flynn & Paws: A personal journey of faith and ministry. Discover blog stories of mostly rants alongside free KJV audio Bible resources for your spiritual path.”

Prior to this more “professional-looking” and more normal feeling version, I used my Twatter description as “Just another FlynnsBlogs site. Sh!t-posting since 2006. Amateur free-blogger parroting current events and far-fetched theories from so-called “experts”. B!tch!”

I also deleted and then re-uploaded and set my Site Icon because the Jetpack Image Size Analyzer (Beta) was acting-up and did NOT give the correct results: it kept showing the deleted offending images that kept showing up as errors. So this is probably a reportable bug to team Jetpack.

That’s all for now. I’ll have to restart our router because the gulag cameras keep going offline. You’d think that both billion-dollar companies would NOT shaft us with these useless devices that continue to disconnect each other.

    End transmission 1810 PST.

  • Image size analysis perfect but not mobile score yet

20250407-0300. So I’m still wide awake and I was having fun trying to figure out how to make sure that there are NO issues for my site’s 100 most recent images, which are mostly none for my blog posts but mostly for my remaining 79 static pages.

Lo and behold! I figured how how to compress the size of my offending images! I simply deleted the offending images that kept showing up as errors, re-designed and re-sized the images on my designer tool online, uploaded a compressed/lower quality version, compressed the downloaded size further with my paid photo editor app for macOS, uploaded the edited version back into my Media library and replaced the image of the dark blue background gothic cat sitting down at a writing desk.

Voila! After reanalyzing the image size, I got a nice message: “Congratulations; no issues found after scanning your 100 most recent pages”!

And then I refreshed my Overall scores to see that my Desktop score is now a perfect number of 100; while my Mobile score is 95! I strive for all three numbers (Mobile, Desktop and Image Size) to be perfect!

I’m learning to let go of my hard-work and have been deleting offending items that might affect my site’s performance.

Earlier, I was tempted to re-clutter my FRONT-COVER (or Front Page, Cornerstone Page) with the design meant for my BLOG HOME template containing the Details blocks for Query Loop, Top Posts & Pages and Content Carousel.

But I must learn to “keep things simple”. Yup. End of transmission 0311 PST. Edited 0315 PST.

  • Jetpack Social Not Connected Settings

20250406-2349. Since yesterday, I noticed that the following message from the Classic editor version: “Jetpack Social: Not Connected Settings”!

I tried several times to log into my Bluesky account but fail each time!

I would get the following message: “Malformed request. Please go back to the previous page and try again.”

I continued blogging thinking that: “The Bluesky account was successfully connected.” But I continue to see “Jetpack Social: Not Connected Settings”!

Off-topic: The current time is 20250407-0059. I got side-tracked with other online/archiving activities and eating some midnight snack, such as my left over tiramisu cake and pieces of cold free-range chicken thighs.

So I guess the Bluesky is gonna end up like Twitter as far as API connection with my WP social account. Sheesh. I might wanna just stop paying for these dammed upgrades anyways if these nefarious players continue to silence my rants!

    End of transmission 0101 PST.

  • Removed and tweaked static pages

20250406-2330. Greetings, chumps! I’ve unpublished and set to draft mode some redundant pages, such as Archives (which strangely was shown as Published/Visible via the Jetpack app for iPhone but Deleted and placed in Trash since the Jetpack app feature did NOT include the ability to edit the page into Draft mode and then restored as Draft from my desktop web browser version), Contact, Features, eight clones/duplicates of Blog Home pages, Terms of Use (from a sample Elementor page) and combined my Contents from my Contact and Features pages into the About page.

Now I’m down to a total of 74 Published static pages, which include the 66 KJV audio bible books, one About page, one Home (or Posts Page), the FRONT-COVER (or Front Page, Cornerstone Page) page, one generic WP Privacy Page with Akismet, and the 4 Featured pages for my OLD sites.

I had difficulty setting two templates for my bible project. One template was customized for the 66 KJV audio bible book pages and the other template was meant for yesterday’s newly created “bible page”, which I set to draft mode tonight AFTER discovering how I could set my 4 Featured pages for my OLD sites into two-columns, where the left column contains the Table of Content block and where the right column contains the Contents.

Now that I don’t need a second “bible” page for my chapters, I’ll end up deleting that template, which was set to behave like an app for smartphone and in which the Details block was supposed to stay on the very top in a Sticky Position, which did NOT work because most of these 66 KJV bible pages were too long! And the only way to view the very end of the Details block containing the chapters within the 66 line items of KJV books was to remove the Sticky Position!

And after the discovery of using two-columns and the Table of Content block for my four Featured pages, I no longer need and will delete the extra template meant for the “stand-alone” “bible page”, which my KJBV page could pick-up anyways!

That’s all for now. End transmission 2348 PST.

  • Tweaked front page again and added bible page

20250406-0306. Welp, I had no choice but to streamline my front page using a “Link in Bio” pattern. The layout is simple: Paragraph for modified Site Tagline, Header for modified Site Title, Social Icons, Image (of the AI-generated gothic cat sitting down at a writing desk), Buttons (About Us, Subscribe to our feeds, Listen to KJV audio bible and Read our blogs) and Paragraph for Credits.

I like this simple pattern. I feel less stressed-out and more calm and relaxed.

However, I thought less clutter is better for my site’s performance. But this did NOT improve my scores to a perfect number of 100! The Mobile score increased to 94. The Desktop score decreased to 99. The Overall score is a letter ‘grade’ of “A”. I should be happy.

And because I had to use one link and didn’t have a page for that link, I had to NO choice but to create a “bible page”! This new page used to contain my newly hand-crafted Navigation menu of books with their chapters! However, the Navigation menu was too much for the system which prompted lots of errors and wait times!

So I had NO choice (again) but to re-use my original layout of Details block for the chapters. Instead of the normal order of books, my books are sorted alphabetically. This worked out so well that the Sticky Position of this Details block looks and feels like like an app for smartphones!

So I plugged-in the simple instructions to “Display Bible Chapters” for the 66 book oages and to “Select Your Bible Chapter” for the new “bible page”.

That’s all for now. I’m feeling sleepy. Good morning. End transmission 0328 PST.

  • Pretty much finished tweaking my weblog site

20250405-1035. WARNING! Personal rant infused with regular blog!

Welp, I’ve pretty much did as much damage, err, tweaking to my main weblog site, which used to be FlynnsBlogs but is now “rebranded” as FlynnsPaws. This project was made possible with fundings from my elderly father for these nifty/useful paid upgrades online and for his router and electricity, of course.

My goal for this project was twofolds: to resurrect my VERY personal blogs of mostly rant (but without the Approval of some VERY OLD comments) and to create my VERY own personal audio bible site! Voila!

With the paid Business upgrade and with two plug-ins (which is only possible with a Business plan), this project is completed! Well, it has been completed two years ago. But the appearance and layout was long overdue/delayed, because I did NOT have the perchance or motivation for web designing.

But thanks to that Live show/Video guy, I was envious and jealous, err, inspired enough to prove to him and everyone else following him that my big brain would pull-off something that I never knew I had before like web designing!

And where I used to contact the Happiness Engineers for assistance but to no avail, I was NOT gonna read their dammed long-winded online documentations due to my impatiences!

Also I would have to spend hundreds of dollars for a professional web designer. And I knew that I would NEVER be satisfied completely with the results; because I’m THAT picky, much like my relationships here and online with complete/perfect strangers. Sheesh.

So with that “trigger” of emotional and intellectual jealousy and envy and with a wink and a nod from On-High to challenge these dammed younglings from team intelligence community, I’m back to blogging about my journey designing my weblog site here.

Anyways, the first plug-in allowed me to upload all the 31,103 King James bible verses from a single CSV file that I found online!

I do NOT audit for its accuracy, for curses have been/are placed upon those who omit anything NOT true and valid. Just saying. So if y’all are thinking about becoming or already a preacher or pastor or whatever, y’all are and have been given fair warning. Bunch of dammed Satanists/Satanic Catholic priests!

The second plug-in helps currently to generate randomly these same uploaded 31,103 KJV bible verses. I have two copies: one dump under the Pages and one dump under the Posts, which I’m using for these random verses. So I have a duplicate total of 62,206 KJV bible verses! I’m THAT paranoid of having my stuff deleted after all these tireless hours of hard work!

With my elderly father’s latest router and with the help of LEO AI/Brave, I was able to learn (on my own) how to hook up my Ethernet cable directly to his router. I had/have a younger brother and his twit wifey who do this for a living. I never NOT rely on THEM or anyone else, because NONE of you are ON my side, which makes YOU my enemies! THEY and U were never part of my life anyways. I just don’t talk to/speak with THEM or anyone else with THEIR prideful vax-sinned status.

With the paid Business upgrade, the process of uploading these thousands of verses was possible this year.

After all these years, I relied on wireless connection to my dad’s legacy router, which we got rid off, thankfully from and by the subtle “nudges” of our service provider. The technicians would replace the perfectly good routers with the same model of routers, which still had the same flashing orange lights, meaning we had to get rid of this network set-up.

Since we got rid of this legacy router, we scrambled to find his new TV service, which was the new company that branched off from the main parent company. At one time, a technician was gonna install a satellite dish to our house. And one look inside our closet he said just get the internet streaming service or dongles.

So now we have three dongles: one for the living room television for when dad irons my clothes, one for the family room television while we are dining, and one for the upstairs bedroom where I caught my dad passed out sitting upright in his chair a couple of times. His body positions is like that of a broken doll. I’m tempted to install a camera upstairs to keep an eyeball on him and awake him up or at least to make sure he is still breathing. Sheesh.

Anyways, by changing from wireless connection to Ethernet connection, uploading these bible verses NO longer resulted continually in 503 errors, meaning the connection was too dammed slow from my end! Plus, I was able to switch off the EMF radiation coming off from WiFi connections my main desktop computer and my other two mobile devices. This is supposed to be a “healthy” improvement.

That’s all for now. My elderly father has NOT yet come downstairs. It’s time to feed on late breakfast/early lunch. End of transmission 1115 PST.

  • Tweaked two main cover images

202504050-0946. Good morning, chumps! The sun is shining. The temperature is cool. Per this morning’s incoming thoughts of inspirations, I’ve tweaked my front page, especially two main Cover block images: gothic cat at writing desk and chemtrails spewing above and below!

For whatever strange reason, these are blessings! Per yesterday’s blog, I still have two main groups: the “above” group for the Header blocker, in which the dammed Sticky Position does NOT seem to work “automatically” and the “below” group for everything else. This Header block has three columns for the Navigation block of all my pages, for the Image block of The REAL FlynnsPaws A.K.A. FlynnsBlogs created on Canva dot com, and for the Navigation block which contains the Search block. This Header was emulated from the presidential site. The background colors for both Navigation blocks is dark blue, like the presidential site.

All blocks are detached with the assumption that less groups/rows/stacks/layers/levels/hierarchies would “speed up” my site’s performance. I’ve tried to reset all settings back to “default” as much as possible, again assuming this would help with my site’s responsiveness.

Within the “below” group, there are five sub-groups.

The first “below” sub-group contains a Header block group of greetings, which emulates the presidential site. I copied/pasted this Header block group from my Titles block group; because the dark blue background color blends into and leaves no gaps in between its adjacent groups. This “trick” works for my site, because the global settings for the background color is set to a lighter stone color from the presidential site.

The second “below” sub-group contains a Cover image block of the gothic cat at writing desk and its Header block of greetings. I set this Cover image to an Overlay Opacity of number 50 and to a Minimum height of 150 vh.

The third “below” sub-group contains a Cover image of my chemtrails spewing above and below. This is where my main content of meat-and-potatoes is located/placed. I set this Cover image to Fixed background with an Overlay Opacity of number 50.

This third “below” sub-group contains the same three old blocks: Query Loop, Top Posts & Pages and Content Carousel, respectively.

Also included is the same old two-column Bento Grid (from theme Kentwood) pattern. I had a difficult time with one of the two sub-columns because the Paragraph block entry for the Features was too long, thus making this Stack longer than the Dreams and Blogs Stack. So I had to reword this Features Paragraph block; so that the overall “height” would line-up with the Dreams and Blogs Paragraph block.

Also included is a Cover image group of a crinkled blue paper from Canva dot com. This group has a Paragraph block describing the Button block for my Reader Feeds.

The fourth “below” sub-group contains the Image block on “The REAL FlynnsPaws”, which I created on Canva dot com, and my Social Icons.

The fifth and final “below” sub-group contains the Paragraph block for my Credit.

I am VERY please with the display of my Front home page, Cornerstone page.

End of transmission 1030 PST. P.S. The current time is 1031 PST and I regenerated the Critical CSS and the current Desktop and Mobile scores are decreased to 92 and 64, respectively. Oh, well!

  • Enhanced emulations of sites

20250404-2333. Behold, my new and improved FRONT-COVER home page! I’ve combined two of my patterns and one new Cover image together and I like the display! I also borrowed “ideas” from TVC site and the presidential site and noticed both sites have lots of clutter, more so the former than the latter, respectively.

For my Front Page template, I had to Detach all my Patterns and remove redundant groups/hierarchies/layers/levels to ensure the system “speeds-up” the performance of my site.

The Header remains the same with three-columns: the Navigation block containing the Page List block; the Image block describing my site; and the Search block.

The Footer remains the same with the stack: the Image block describing my site; the Site Icon block; and a Paragraph of my Credit. I may include (again) the Navigation block for my Blogroll. But I noticed that my two sampled sites are supposed to focus mostly on internal links and promote external links of their own social media sites and NOT external links of “other” competitors. Just saying. Sorry.

There are only two main “content” Groups. One group is the Header where I set as a Sticky Position above the second group below. The only weird way to trigger how Header “sticks” above the Content “below” is to click away anywhere on the web browser and click back anywhere and just into the “outside” of my Content area!

The second group contains the following items: today’s newly created AI-generated image featuring a black cat writing at a desk and it paragraph modeling the Header greeting of a presidential site; my old chemtrails image, including its two Headers describing further what this site is all about and its Call-To-Action Button for the Posts Page; my old three Details blocks of Query Loop, Top Posts & Pages and Content Carousel; the Bento Grid (Kentwood) of Cover images and CTA buttons as the enhanced version of the Content Carousel of all my top level pages; and finally another Cover image with another Call-To-Action Button for the Reader Feed.

I have yet to refresh the Critical CSS and find out the expected lower levels for both the Desktop and Mobile scores. It’s 2350 PST and I just refreshed my Jetpack Boost and could see that the Mobile score level is 69; while the Desktop score is still as high as 95! I think at this point I was more concerned about my site’s performance and those who have slow internet connection over what I really wanted: more clutter and color!

Alas, I could go back to the eyeball blinding white-washed background color instead of the presidential dark blue color scheme to increase my Mobile Score. But I won’t because I’m burned-out/tired of tweaking my weblog site.

For now, I’m pleased with my FRONT-COVER Page, Cornerstone Page. End of transmission 2352 PST. Edited for clarity on 20250405-0003 and 20250405-1032.

  • AI generated Cover image

20250404-1757. I just created my own AI generated Cover image using the keywords: “dark blue background gothic cat writing at desk”.

I’m really impressed with the demonic-infused algorithms. These “artworks” are beautiful and almost too perfect.

At least, I got something that appears appropriate as a “cover image”.

But my front home page still feels “skeletal”, means I wanna add more clutter than necessary.

    End transmission 1802 PST.

  • Trying antique frame landscape

20250404-1712. Oh, well! I kept creating lots of images and chose an antique frame landscape for my Front home page. So instead of all the clutter, this page displays a stack of the following blocks: Site Icon, Site Title, Site Tagline, CTA Buttons for the Feeds and Blogs, Social Icons, Navigation menu for three main pages and my Credits. I can’t say that I like this Cover image. I’ll probably change it later on (again).

The sun is shining. The temperatures are warming up. The winds are calm.

Today, two haulers (from different companies) were behaved and replaced our carts (black garbage and gray with blue lid recyclables) in an upright position after I submitted my video and photo evidence to the teamsters/customer service last month.

Today, my dad and I picked up our Lowe’s loyalty reward/free gift: a plushie white Teddy bear with its Lowe’s food bid inside its blue Lowe’s painter bucket and two show charms. I made my dad pose and hold up his stuff. Then we picked up last night’s order for a plastic feeder sprayer attachment for the garden hose.

Then we ate lunch as usual and now I’m gonna take a nap after we ate lots of Dutch Apple pie. We’ve been eating pies and cakes after lunch and supper. It’s good stuff while we still could enjoy foodstuff.

That’s all. End transmission 1725 PST.

  • Edited Front Cover page only

202500404-1328. Since the discovery of my mysteriously-generated FRONT-COVER page (or Cornerstone page), I have been “nudged” to just display a “Cover” image block this afternoon! So I chose my chemtrails image!

I simply placed a Header block with a generic greeting, two CTA (Call-To-Action) buttons for following my reader FEEDS and for reading my recent BLOGS, my Social Icons, my Navigation menu of top-level pages and my Credits.

Now both my Desktop and Mobile scores are higher at 95 and 98, respectively. I should now be happy with this latest results! This is false! Why?

On the lower left-hand corner of my Front Home page in preview mode, I saw for the first time the following annoying/irritating paragraph: “Didn’t expect to see this page? Learn about 3rd party cookies.”

So I’m reading about this “Preview Problems and Third-Party Cookies” at: https://wordpress.com/support/third-party-cookies/.

However, when viewing my site in live mode, this little message is none. So I’m happy again.

I guess that’s all for now. I’d like to display different versions of my pages. But it’s all for fun and practice.

    End of transmission 1339 PST.

  • Emulated theme JinJang

20250404-0136. Last night, I tried briefly theme JinJang. Twice, both my desktop and mobile scores were 100!
I really liked the concept of duality, hence YinYang or theme JinJang! You know, light and dark, DemonCraps and ReptiliCons, left and right, up and down, forward and backward, conservative and progressive, male and female (only), PURE EVIL and GOD-MODE, beautiful and butt-fugly and so on.

For the “Content”, I borrowed the VERY simple two-columns where the left column contains my Site Icon, Site Title, Site tagline and main Navigation menu block of all my Pages and where the right column contains one Query Loop block of the three most recent blog entries and a Paragraph block for the main posts page.

For the left column or Jin/Yin, I borrowed the presidential dark blue. For the right column of Jang/Yang, I borrowed the presidential color of stone [cold]. (Wrestling fans would know what character uses beer cans as props.) The balance is perfect and does NOT cause my eyeballs stress from mousing-clicking-all-over-the-place exhaustion!

So that’s it. I guess that’s the best I could do for the SEO and “site’s overall performance” based on the Cornerstone page, which is my FRONT-COVER page. I’m tired of re-designing and trying to perfect a simple blogging site that contains just a bunch of static pages and dynamic posts.

End transmission 0150 PST. Edited 0203 PST.
