Do you ever blog about food?

• Yup!

If so, what kinds of food posts have you found your readers respond to?

• Well, one recent blog was a link about chocolate and a reader “Liked” it.

What do you most enjoy seeing on other food blogs?

• I love seeing the colors, texture and the various positions of the food in the photos and imagine tasting/smelling the mostly desserts.

How do Steinbeck’s tips strike you?

1. Disagree. I force myself to complete the book within one to two days. I refuse to admit I won’t ever finish the book.
2. Disagree. I really want to be “perfect” and cannot simply blog without checking my grammar and spelling for correctness.
3. Disagree. I have to be careful an address my audience as if the law enforcement and government officials are reading my blog. Plus, there is the TOS to follow and brats/minors to inspire.
4. Disagree. If I want to know how a scene unfolds, I’d rather read each page in sequence. Sometimes I do jump ahead to find out how “fast” I could complete the current chapter.
5. Disagree. If I like something, I tend to reread it over for couple more times; thus the process of reading is slowed down until the scene is fully savored.
6. Disagree. I am not a vocal person and use my imagination for the tone of any dialogue.

What do you think: Do you write your blog posts in a quiet setting, or amongst the hubbub of social networks and chats?

• I post in a quiet setting and away from noise!

Do you turn off the internet or use any other tools to help reduce distractions?

• I have to hide upstairs in my computer bedroom to get any blog done.

Is “boredom” your writing fuel or do you write when excited/busy/etc?

• When bored, I do chores and gardening. When excited about completing a project, such as answering questions from “The Daily Post at WordPress.com”, then do I find the inspiration to avoid “boredom” and blog with gusto.

Have you ever written from someone else’s point of view on your site?

• Yes. But I barely recall one blog post from the perspective of parakeets.

If so, how did you incorporate it into your blog?

• I merely used a simple dialogue on how the parakeets might have communicated in “human language”.

If not, have you ever tried?

• As for people, those have to be scripted in REAL life or else the lesson will have lost its meaning.

Do you like to craft, sew, build, fix, or create things?

• I really do NOT like to work with my hands. But I had tried to start a few blogs with a post title of “How-To” and tagged it “how-to”. Some are recipes, too. But I keep forgetting to take before and after snapshots and got lazy taking notes on each steps.

Have you ever tried any DIY projects you read about on a blog?

• I haven’t tried any DIY projects from other blogs but have tried recipes, if that counts as “creating”.
