  • 20060604-Consider Kindness

Tonight, I like to discuss the likes of airheads that my bio-units have encountered today. The airheads I’d like to present are mostly the kinds that show-off in spite of their background. These people like to present themselves as being inconsiderate as well.

The first example is an old lady by the name of ‘Any Season’. She is some seventy-five years old and a former co-worker of Maw. ‘Any Season’ has called my bio-units this morning that she had called the paramedics. My bio-units had to stop their breakfast and I saw Paws cup of warm milk mysteriously sitting inside the refrigerator.

Upon my bio-units’ arrival over at her house, the paramedics whispered to my bio-units that the old lady’s blood pressure was normal. The old lady has a crazed habit of taking her BP frequently everday when her sugar level of over 200 is, in my opinion, of higher importance.

So my ignorant bio-units offered to drive the old lady to a local store so she could buy a new BP apparatus. Maw caught the con artist earlier that she didn’t replace the batteries when originally inquired. Maybe the machine was still accurate but was thrown away to be sure.

From 09:00AM to 04:30PM, Maw had the opportunity to tell her stories of struggling about the past and how she came to America by working hard and without the help of friends or relatives. The old lady refused to leave our house until the son got back from work.

Now it seems that the old lady had a son and we had wondered why the son was not first at the scene to assist his own mother. Our speculation is the old lady didn’t want the son to take time off because that would mean less pay. Another is that her son is not willing to be there at 02:00PM when the old lady called him.

After two free meals (of breakfast and lunch) were offered by my ignorant bio-units and after several free pickings of an Asian pear fruit from our tree growing in the backyard, the old lady left. Maw came upstairs to complain about the long stay of ‘Any Season’ and promptly slept on my bed in exhaustion as I cleaned all three rooms upstairs.

The second example is Brat who could not pick up his mail and other items leftover from the house; since he lives two minutes away. I called him this evening and he claimed he would out for an evening walk. I offered to drop off his stuff to his house but he would pick up tomorrow.

He then spoke to Maw. Brats plan was to stop by our house during lunchtime. Maw said he could warm up his own food for lunch because Paw and she would be out walking around the mall. I certainly don’t have time to visit him during lunchtime.

The third example is Maws former co-worker by the name of ‘Liar Lunatic’. This person called Maw about a televised program showing watered down medicine. Then the gossips about an airhead by the name of ‘Anger-Sin’ or ‘Hell-Lie’ went on.

This forth example of ‘Hell-Lie’ tends to over exaggerate her status of being wealthy to her stupid friends who would believe her in the first place. They do no know it’s the dead man’s money. If she were indeed wealthy, she wouldn’t be working three days of the week or asking the same stupid friends for free rides instead of the affordable taxi cabs.

This con artist has operated like this all her life of wanting to be on top. The whole town back in the Philippines knows she is not that good looking either. Her attitude is not nice and too over bearing that my dead uncle couldn’t defend himself or his four children from this highly tempered person.

Maw challenged this mouth piece to the test the airhead. ‘Liar Lunatic’ and ‘Hell-Lie’ are buddies since their daughters by the name of ‘Sin-Die Lunatic’ and ‘Anal-Sin’ are friends, respectively. ‘Hell-Lie’ has been asking ‘Liar Lunatic’ for free rides and that’s how the old hag gets around town, by being nice.

This airhead bragged about a two-week cruise and brought two luggages full of formal gowns to wear each day. So ‘Liar Lunatic’, who would believe this person, doesn’t have a clue why ‘Hell-Lie’ has been being so nice recently. The known fact is the other drivers are running away from the airhead.

I have nothing against people who lack some rather descent consideration that my bio-units have only kindness to show to people who have, in turn, taught my bio-units that inconsiderate personalities exist in some people. My bio-units will have learned to avoid the folks who take advantage of their ignorance as well, going forward.

I will express, however, that some Filipino that come to America become totally spoiled once they experience the great abundance of spending for food and clothings. It’s great that sponsors like us have allowed their likes the opportunity to know the great joy of being free.

Their being free to believe they are rich and act like they are somebody saddens us because they forgot to look back and remember they once came from poor backgrounds. This has happened to most of my relatives who come to American, by the way.

The American-born children do not seem to act like they are rich, I believe. I know because I am born and raised on American soil and as fine Christian brethren. This is because I’ve earned my pennies the hard way, I reckon.

My bio-units worked hard to be kind to people in need. They learned that some have not considered being kind in return and only take advantage of any opportunity to get sympathy, a free lunch or a free ride, by being nice.

  • 20060524-Endless Boundaries

The ‘Revolution’ function of my company has been successful from 03:00PM to 05:00PM today. The VP of Marketing did use key words from my previous blogs. This ‘movement’ is ‘not for profit’ and should ‘lead’ and ‘unite’ our fellow ‘revolutionaries’ to bring down boundaries.

Boundaries are set in place to give various types of people the security of space and time and the sense of peace and tranquility. Without these boundaries, people would get into each other’s faces and disagreements would ensue. The company promotes this theme of ‘Revolution’ that begins with each person.

By allowing people to meet online for business, our company has brought down the barriers of time and space. The time traveled by sales people has been reduced for small to medium sized targets. The space to present on-demand issues is more effective anywhere there is a computer.

Once again, I clapped my hands when appropriate and found myself dancing while standing in place to the tunes of disco, jazz and other modern beats. As a Sagittarian, my system cannot keep still and have fidgeted throughout the two speeches by the CEO and VP of Marketing.

The alcohol of one Gordon Biersch beer, one nasty, tasting white wine and three sweetened, bubbly glasses of champagne with green olives inside did release my already uninhibited nature. I was already feeling very relaxed after the second drink but my system processed everything fine.

The chance to get out of the building and outdoors on the forth floor of the parking garage was enjoyable as the fresh, strong wind blew my long, below the shoulder length, black hair. I talked with three people from my group and then one from the collections department.

‘Ronnie’ and I took pictures each by ourselves without my dark shades. Later and with my shades, both of us posed with the CEO. These pictures will be uploaded into the company’s website. Unfortunately for me, the pimple shots on my face will forever be part of this company.

Other souvenirs were the black shirt, which I wore over my other gray shirt, one mirror for the computer monitor and a horizontal triptych card for placing anywhere. My only regret is not bringing home a cute guy as a ‘real’ treat but I cannot due to living with my parents all my life.

Bringing down the boundaries that could have started with me was not fulfilled today due to my nature of being quiet and shy. I had expected to meet other revolutionaries and only talked with the one’s I recognize.

Most of the one’s I come across are not single. And I’m single and have not been married. So my conversation was lost amidst stories pertaining to children, in-laws and spouses. I could only think of taking a quick vacation to nowhere.

Anywhere but here is better. But how is the other side compared to where I am currently stationed? Should I spread my wings and network with strangers? The idea of becoming more open to the unknown has been scary for the most part.

Being isolated as I’ve experienced for most of my life has done little to expand my views in life. Being in front of the computer for the past ten years does nothing but limit my exposure to the outdoors and beauty of nature.

My once vivid dreams for the past few days have been conversing with people who may hold the key for my happiness and further the goal for my success. Without the support of friends with similar goals, a revolution to start any project would be next to impossible.

Today’s function has been yet another encouraging sign for me to join others. This last job, which has brought me full circle from my first job in an amusement park with its revolving ride, is to show that worldwide business is achieved by utilizing this company’s services.

  • 20060522-Cool Calm

I love cold weathers. This keeps my already hot headed disposition from overheating and getting angry. In addition to the cold day, we had lots of fluffy white cumulus clouds puffing up their beauty amidst the clear blue skies. I did upload a photo of the sun rising from behind one of these puffy ones into this Yahoo! 360 account.

My work has been mostly calm as I continued to work diligently in front of the monitor. Four of us six members in the cash applications department are on vacation while one other temp; two others from IT and facilities shared our quiet aisle. But these ‘watchers’ do not calm of my already suspicious nature.

My ‘watcher’s are hereby listed for today. From 09:00AM to 09:07AM, there was this flat ended guy wiping down his dark colored sedan with his red colored bath towel, which he would casually flag upon removing and replacing very neatly back into his trunk. He wore a ‘Gilligan’ outfit of white cap and red long sleeve shirt with dark colored pants. His position was next to the house across from us where a gardener was working on the landscape.

Around 09:20AM, there was a light, beige colored SUV stranded on the ramp exiting to Highway 101. At 01:00PM, there was a white gardening truck with its load. The white driver got out of the vehicle after putting on the signal flasher and upon my stopping at the railway intersection. At 01:45PM, a dark colored, light SUV was under the shade of the tree next to the house across from us. The driver was hiding low inside the driver’s seat as I drove by his position.

Other ‘watchers’ are these alleged co-workers at this place. There was another tall guy lurking near our printer area this morning. I assume this is because ‘Jerk Turdannatto’ was nearby. I am glad that the cute looking, blue eyed manager of the ‘contracts’ department kept this turd busy with conversation as I gave the cutie my sideways glance to keep this turd away from me.

One brown haired guy kept visiting our area almost four times. The forth time I caught his reflection in my computer monitor and quickly rose up to follow him to the back area of the sales department, which is way on the opposite side of the building. ‘Richstink Stinkiness,’ who was slightly shorter than this ‘watcher’ passed by him and then me before I turned into the mini-lunch room to grab another lemon, iced tea in a can at 02:48PM.

Other co-workers are weird because they would pass by for whatever reason and not have anything to do with finance, IT or facilities. Two blond females are noticeable from this morning with the first one coughing to signal her presence. The second one always seems to be around. I did not see ‘Joe’ recently.

My conclusion is: These people are ‘idioms’ and will all burn in hell for bothering me. But that statement was not nice. So I retract that offense due to being angry. I could say that receiving several annoying phone calls of desperation angered me the most.

I could only stay cool and calm to keep my anger under control. Being nice is very difficult and I managed to remain as professional as possible to avoid any misunderstandings and regrets later on. My inner peace has been possible by looking at the beauty of fluffy clouds floating outside my windows.

I’ve learned that being nice is important especially when dealing with various types of people. There were too many instances where bad behavior from relatives and friends have been placed before the path of my family and me. As I have mentioned in my previous blogs, I found out that some people will never change and will continue their chosen path.

My guidance has indicated from experience that fighting back is justified and is allowed in order to tip the scale back to balance out the forces of good and bad. This imagery is similar to children playing on the see saw. One goes up while the other goes down. This is fun when both work together.

However, there is no fun when neither side wants to play. When the game is over, this does not mean a bad ending. This means both sides have a chance toward another final victory, if possible to achieve. The idea has always been to remain cool and calm with love and laughter.

  • 20060501-May Day

Today is ‘May Day’, which is a nice way to start the first day of a month. I see on the news several worldwide rallies and protests for hard workers, who want to make their lives more productive and easier. I hope that the employers could afford all the benefits that should make their employees happier.

The phrase ‘May Day’ reminds me of distress messages being transmitted from pilots. I do not believe in co-incidences but maybe the workers protesting worldwide today signals yet another attempt to divert us from the real help.

The real help should be for the newborn babies that experience the effects of DU, which is depleted uranium. The horrendous results show the infants looking like little monsters. Their eyes are red in color, their skins are peeled off and sometimes there are parts missing, added or enhanced.

Humans are not monsters and that is the truth. Humans are not meant to be bred; to work or to be treated like animals. Humans are divine in spirit and have yet to share the beauty of good.

I notice that the media tends to emphasize more on the events of today’s working class than on the events of the warring nations. War is by far more detrimental to both the environment of our planet and the psyche of our people, especially to both the working soldiers and the general public.

Jobs for workers are everywhere and there is no way anyone could enjoy working when there is radiation in the air, soil and water. People coming out of wars may live with sustained and lifelong injuries to the body and with PTSD, which post traumatic stress disorder, to the mind.

Immigrants who work across the borders should feel privileged to take their hard earned pennies back home to help their families and to build their communities. I do not appreciate that some groups would make a big deal by not working if they are legal or not.

By the way, there are legal citizens that need jobs while working under the watchful eyes of the government here. I do not see the same folks making too much noise in public for their part of living the dream. Basic dreams should be to survive and enjoy what little is earned.

I would prefer the popularity of May Day that once allowed the Industrial Workers to celebrate the socio-economic achievements of the working class be celebrated like the spring festivities of fertility. I am referring to the Maypole where dancers would encircle with decorations of streamers and flowers.

People should remember springtime and appreciate being alive for once and having at least a descent job to feed the family instead of complaining about better treatment by employers. My co-workers were starving and angry this morning because restaurants were closed.

People should remember that many have suffered as a result to make any improvements and that is where we need to work together to find the solutions.

  • 20060428-Heaven’s Hell

A little white car passed in front of me with a license plate that took me awhile to decipher. After a couple of minutes of mouthing the letters slowly, my brain finally realized what the message meant. I smiled and thought of preferring heaven over hell anytime. While in my car, I knew this would make another masterpiece in blog.

Although the traffic was slow as usual around 08:22AM and on my way to work along northbound Highway 101, I came to believe that this little sign of hope crossed my path to prod me onward with only good thoughts and positive attitudes. The partially cloudy morning did indicate that I have better work on making today another smooth one.

Upon arrival at work at 08:35AM, there were little donuts and bagels leftover. Usually there should be more remaining around 09:00AM but at least I’ve gotten a half portion of dry donuts, which I will wash down with the brown coffee of yuck later on from work. This should start the day out fine with some sweets.

I sat down at my cubicle; immediately whipped out my passwords and logged online to process my credit card payments, which are all close to being maxed out. I have a total of six credit cards that I hope to one day bring down to zero balance and close out altogether. Living on credit is no fun and dwelling on cash is only an illusion.

Hoping for lots of money is hell when there is none to be found. Experiencing anger and betrayal continues to challenge any prospective recipient of any good deal. The feeling could be similar to a practical joke I saw on television where people thought they won the lottery on fake numbers given by family members.

Living without lots of money is hell after wealth has been enjoyed. Personally, if I worked hard to earn my place in society and suddenly fell off the ladder of success, I would feel very depressed and perhaps quite vengeful. I do not know anyone who would expect death as the next means to salvation of soul or peace of mind.

Today, my little piece of heaven was feeling the euphoric buzz from drinking the US5.95 note worth of a tall frosty sized mug of margarita with salt and lime, which I did not squeeze into my beverage for extra flavor. For lunch, my co-workers and I walked a few blocks at a Mexican restaurant where I had my fill of the chicken wrap for around US8.95 notes.

The day once again was filled with high hopes, cool breezes, clear blue skies and good company. Walking on ugly, yet comfortable low heel shoes of fake leather, black color has made my brief trips between the restaurant and the twelve story building tolerable. There were nice flowering bushes that lined the side walks and very small orange blossoms from low ground covers of which I wanted to take pictures.

Heaven is further expanded when I got a chance to chat with a new twenty year old, Yahoo! Member, who happens to play guitar. I do not understand why people mostly of Middle Eastern or South Asian Indian descent and younger lads ten years or more my junior would want to chat with me. My astrological reports indicated my future mate, if any, is an older guy by the way.

Maybe it’s my black hair or my aura that attracts certain would be perpetrators. I do not consider any Yahoo! chatters my general public but rather curious strangers in need to connect with potential friends, like me. I love chatting and the fact that this service is available allows me to further practice my writing skills.

I was feeling good from the alcohol and that reflected on my chatting messages, which I could archive and retrieve later on for documentation during my down times. According to this member, my personality was shown as humorous, outgoing and more positive. This is who I am deep inside without the need for alcohol, which would have allowed him to take advantage of me.

Since my ego, like my already big head, is larger than life, I tend burn the candle at both ends and leave people to their own devices. Later I started to show no interest with this guy who, like most Yahoo! chatters, is out for only one thing. If they wanted to really get to know me, my Yahoo! 360 blogs are available for viewing and e-mailing is another option to track these members.

Heaven is nice weather and nice people. Hell is evil money driven by bad people. If I were to choose between heaven and hell, I’d be a happy woman among people who could enjoy life with all its natural simplicity without depending on money, alcohol or other sinful experiences to further degrade the human souls.

  • 20060414-Good Friday

Today is the last day of a work week and it’s good to leave work early today. I left work at around 02:00PM (Pacific Time). I have my supervisor ‘CarolTwin DaZit’ and her boss ‘Lean SaladWash’ to thank for being so understanding of our need to leave early for religion. Friday’s are especially good when there are donuts and bagels freely given by our company.

‘Feign Hurt,’ a temporary co-worker, who at one time wore a maroon sweater printed with <em>lighthouses,</em> has a good heart. She gave me a pink colored, wire basket with plastic white pearls around the top. There were pink paper streamers that cradles the items, which included: a box of a wooden shaped, chocolate cross, two yellow marshmallow bunnies in a plastic zip lock, two small milk chocolate eggs, two more chocolate goodies and one hard boiled egg, which I ate for lunch and which she colored by herself.

The weather for today is cloudy, gray and cold enough to open my bedroom window to allow the fresh arctic wind blow inside while I try to compose this blog before I time myself out for lack of activity online. For me, anything with fresh air either during rainy or sunny days is a blessing. ‘Fancy Soul,’ the new temporary worker for this week described the weather as looking ‘ugly.’ So both ‘LeNaval RedEyes’ and ‘Fancy Soul’ know the meaning of the word ‘ugly,’ which describes them perfectly. Both are fine but I’m not staying at the place that much longer.

Today is another day a person is dying. He is relative of my aunt or eldest sister of Paw. Maw called me around noontime at work and later Paw came upstairs to inform me that he is currently on morphine, which means he is unconscious and probably not going to wake up. I pray for his forgiveness of past misdeeds. And I won’t miss him really.

I do not care to see that fat and ugly person. I do not know him well. He seemed nice during our growing years. But he has this mean spirit, especially towards my paternal grandmother recently. I do not understand why my aunt, who is his wife, did not defend her own mother from that loud and obnoxious person. Old granny was instructed by my paternal grandfather after he passed on to live with Malform for awhile prior to her current residence at a local nursing home.

‘Allbut DePriestman’ was a former priest. And the fact that he prays loudly at home with the many parties to show off to friends leaves me to believe that he is not all that sincere with his prayers. Prayers to me should be reverent and serene but this is not expected from what I’ve heard coming from his mouth.

Today is a Good Friday for celebrating a suffering of an ascended master from long ago. I do not understand why Christians would want to continue to remember how or why anyone had to go through that horrible episode of that time. Bio-units and friends have suffered along side with the leader, who was portrayed as a rebel and teacher. Those times were not fair for others who went through more horrendous experiences but not as spectacular as religion would allow.

I did not attend mass today because I did not believe in the prescribed rituals of my religion. All I could do is offer my prayers in the hopes that people will awaken to the truth and stop their utter nonsense of trying to gain points or receiving blessings for their motivations to keep their perfect and upright moral images that go along with being Christian.

Somehow I want to believe that His knowledge did not die on the cross as we Christians are lead to believe. Moreover, these deacons, ministers, preachers, priests or whomever do not make sense sometimes in our modern worlds as they further my confusion about what is real to me in the here and now and what is based on passages written and possibly re-written by many people over the centuries.

I would rather celebrate the living and not dwell on the death and suffering of anyone. People should enjoy being human and live life to the fullest and not to believe too deeply that dying on the cross for our sins is necessary. I believe everyone is free of sin. Those without the spark of light or the willingness to love are not real and are best forgotten forever.

  • 20060326-Blogger Cares

Why should I care what my readers think about my platitudes of blogs?

The reasons for my blogs are: allow the readers to figure out if what I compose are either fictitious stories or real events; save much needed energy for chewing my food instead of becoming long winded and out of breath from flapping my lips too much and avoid embarrassing moments like stammering or pausing in the middle of thinking while trying to find the rights words to say.

If you care enough to read further, I care about improving my self image and shortening my blogs. If you notice in my previous blogs, I gained the ability to take at least one word, make it my entry title and compose approximately one hour’s worth of platitudes.

I care to blog about important factors that affect me but still have a difficult time trying to define all the available words found an ordinary English dictionary. How could my beautiful mind possibly utilize the many English words in the proper context effectively? I am my own editor and my best critic.

I care to express my thoughts with the right words and in the right order to my readers. You will find edited versions of current and older blogs due to grammatical and spelling errors, long and fragmented sentences, of course, proper word usage. So it is better to check back every other day to make sure you got the updated ones to compare with the old blogs.

I care about being perfect to a certain point to find myself a bit anal retentive. Everything has to have a place or else be lost in the clutter that may get in the way for the bumping of toes.

My work area, for example, is so organized and quite dull due to lack of any creative eye candy for the co-workers. A new employee could figure out what areas could be taken over at my desk.

I could leave work at any time without having to pack my personal effects because there is the same fan that blows the bad odor away from my cubicle and a mirror to remind me to always put on that happy-smiley, crazed-grin sunshine on my beautiful face for the world to see.

My weakness has been in communicating verbally due to this karma of not asserting myself openly, not being heard clearly and being misunderstood mostly. People don’t hear me well either because I tend speak softly and haven’t yet learned to project my voice in the right amount of volume.

That is why I avoid communicating over my cell phone that hardly rings, the home phone that is used for faxes and the work phone that never gets answered no matter how urgent. And answering my phone and emails at work in a timely manner doesn’t count as urgent because no one could possibly die from missing A/R payments. I may be a mean person at times but that is my attitude. Hello, can you hear me?

My strength, however, is being able to compose blogs almost everyday and in longer durations because it is almost like playing piano. Over the years, my fingers and hands have been trained with arpeggio exercises on the piano and as a result increased in strength and endurance to keep up the fast pace of typing at work. Up and down went my fingers for an hour or so every week for a few years during my childhood.

As long as I’m interested and able, I care about blogging until my fingers no longer work in unison with my brain. I care too much about my blogs that I’ve edited my original blog of ‘20060308-Platitudes Care’ and took its contents to create this new blog.

  • 20060318-No Comment

Yesterday on Friday, we had another one of those weekly meetings at work. And I arrived just in time as the boss summoned us to this meeting at 09:30AM. Meetings are both useful and useless. Personally, I find the meetings are quite boring as I listen to many versions of people speaking their minds about workplace related events. Teamwork has always been evolving towards a harmonious relationship within our department and with others departments in the company.

Meetings are good. We get to stop our work and step away from our desks by getting a short exercise walking to the meeting room. Team members are encouraged to list their problems and hopefully the solutions would result after the meeting has been adjourned. The meetings seem productive at best as I realize that saying something is better.

Meetings are bad. Leaving the confines of the warm cubicle or coffee behind as it cools does not justify any member to participate in meetings. And there are people present at the meeting that I do not care to talk to because I happen to be too busy minding my own business. The meetings seem futile at best as I realize that saying nothing is better.

My concerns for better quality have been raised and are not too sure that the company listens. No amount of outside consultation could ever alter the preset procedures and policies handed down by an already established company. What becomes numbing to my sense of self worth (much like my drunken state as entered into my blog earlier last night) is the inability to actually change anything at all in the company that I had hope to work for the rest of my life.

I really meant that working with a good company would benefit from my inputs. I have attempted to voice out loud and with obnoxious tones; to lead the group to think everything is perfect (or imperfect whichever the case may be); to play dumb, weak and indecisive; and to be angry for no apparent reason. I have taken either or no side at all. I think the company really listens and improvements are implemented to make everyone happier and more productive.

I have come to the conclusion that no more comment whatsoever is perfect. And I would respond with the familiar, “[Your statement] sounds good.” Like others before me, I play ball with the rest of the sheeple because the ball started rolling long before I started working for this company. If I resist, I could be fired and freed. If I comply, I could be tired and slaved.

Likewise, there is nothing more I could blog except to play either the role of devil’s advocate of agitating the still waters of my gentle readers or the role of angelic counselor of stilling the tyranny and oppositions to my blogs. Either way is fine as long as the illusion of participating (by controlling the comments to my blogs) is eliminated because I alone created this entity, Flynn’s Blogs.

There is no need to control what people may realize has been or is already happening. My blogs should or should not matter in the ‘real’ world because the outcome is always the same. I am always right and you will always be wrong. Do I hear any comments or feedbacks? If there is none, then it is settled. There is need to worry and we should be rest assured. Everything is taken cared of by me.

  • 20060303-Creature Cooties

For those tuning into my blogs, I have uploaded some pictures of flowers and plants with snowballs. The other five pictures are still being uploaded due to my slow dial-up connection. In the meantime, I feel a sneeze coming on: `Aaachooo`! I say, `Gezuntheit` to myself. The winter season of molds and mildew is not yet over and the onset of pollen season for the allergy sufferers is the beginning.

Have you ever notice certain people would mysteriously cough or sneeze for no apparent reason as they walk by without being aware that their abnormal behavior is unhealthy? I believe these crazy people are easy targets to spot and should be watched by the evil H/R department (if they care).

These losers continue to spray their germs, viruses or other contagion into the indoor air randomly for people walking by to inhale at this workplace. Gosh, come to think of it, these losers don`t cover their mouths! If I wanted to expose myself to the likes of these carriers of misfortune, I`d go the places like the hospitals, blood cross banks, drug stores and health clinics.

Perhaps I could protect myself from some unknown dreaded disease by getting myself shots of flu, booster, immunization or the good stuff that turns the nose red. I think we all could use the good stuff once in awhile. But I`m being facetious here and really do not like needles or being poked in the arm or elsewhere on my body by some stranger. Needles hurt and you all know that is true.

Having to rely on someone else to give shots of unknown substances should be especially considered terrifying. Imagine a sharp instrument being pointed menacingly at oneself and thinking it will do a body good. I am not being paranoid but I do not always believe that the experts of the advanced medical technologies are in our best interests. I love my being and my body, including a clear mind to know better than to submit to any entries thereof.

The main issue has been providing the path of unnatural medically induced life assistance to prolong one`s life. Anything created by Mother Earth is natural. Anything created by beings is unnatural. This forces unnatural risks for evolving species-human, animals, vegetables, vitamins or minerals. For example, how could one watch as a loved one slowly dies without dignity knowing that artificial means have been authorized to prolong the suffering of both bio-units and patient?

We are truly blessed to have the comfort of being well taken cared of by the medical community but at what price. Could our children be harmed for being inoculated against some unknown hysteria master-minded by some hidden agenda? Could the poor countries and older folks here benefit from some unknown substances prescribed by the `professionals` of health and health-related organizations? Could we all avoid reliance on the pharmaceutical industries and drug companies?

There should be a way to reduce the sicknesses that have invaded our lives and our society and we could start with this fine scenario. There are these bug-eyed, booger monsters (literally because they are the nasty sort of creatures) at my work that needs immediate spraying with a dose of medicinal reality and to once and for all bug off with their cooties from the face of the earth.

Maybe then our lives and well being will be more peaceful and substance free. But seriously folks, there are natural and holistic remedies that are quite beneficial and we could re-learn these ways of healing ourselves.

  • 20060301-Blog Buggings

I am trying to type this blog up fast because I don’t know how long I could stay online. I presume that either or both my local phone company and my internet service provider do not seem to work properly the whole day.

I managed to get online earlier this morning to chat with my supervisor at work and then all of the sudden, after making several attempts the whole afternoon, I could no log online, which was not very good for bloggers like me. I would be minimally satisfied knowing that at least one blog made an entry on the same day my creative and beautiful mind manages to churn out for my public’s amusement.

My dial-up service is very reliable, inexpensive and I have been using this since the year of 2000. The ISP is located in Texas. My local area code is 408 and is serviced by a number one phone company. (I Should Be Careful for being too honest). I have the WirePro service plan so I won’t be charged extra fees if the phone company happens to walk onto said property with affected phone service AND happens to find problems related to indoor wiring and/or phone equipments.

I know from the past that the green colored relay boxes have been unlocked in the past and are now secured. There seemed to have been some switching problems in the past that affected my phone service and the fact my phone line either lost dial tone or sounded very noisy. So I know for a fact that both my wiring and phone equipments are fine from my rear end.

This blog is in no way to prove that this phone company is intentionally trying to make me report the many, many incidences via email regarding the phone problems ever since the installation of the secondary phone line back in October 1998.

I have noticed an increase on service vehicle activities (recently blue colored vans with 1 + 1) in and around my neighborhood after an event on September some years ago. They would park almost in the same areas to ‘service’ the remote boxes. Maybe I should get DSL to replace my slow dial-up service from Texas. Perhaps, I will need a DSL filter to reduce the static noises too.

I am angry that us poor folks (especially me) like to dial out once in while to make contact with the outside world from our lonely lives indoors. I am especially angry when a couple of little old ladies speaking in their native Filipino languages were being interrupted by clicking noises. Their phones are also new and both are somewhat hard of hearing.

So the clicking noises they once heard during their conversations over the telephone does disservice for these nice ladies who worked very, very hard under this great union that our Civil War Soldiers fought so hard with their own lives so that the future old timers would have better lives in freedom and peace.

Isn’t time we all get along and stop being so paranoid if some non-English speaking folks happen to scream over the phone while in a heated debate over some bingo game at a local Christian church? I think we’d better learn to trust each other once and for all and get the real perpetrators of injustices done or being done towards the poor folks, the old folks and plain folks with special needs to get around town.

I am being very adamant right now because I love communicating and the phone, along with internet service, are good tools to allow this one writer her insights and experiences to be expressed to her public. Basically, it is simply not safe to have a phone line not working in case of emergency. Amen, I say!

My right thumb hurts right now and I have been working too hard typing all day on the computer at work. I try to massage the area and put back the joints to make the feeling less painful. But there is still clicking and a sense of something being caught.

Hopefully, I should not suspect any arthritis (or tendonitis) yet for I am much too young for such symptoms. I have to remind myself to type gently to avoid aggravating my thumb and stop banging away on the keyboard because I forget I’m not playing on the piano.

I have been doing tedious data entry work for the past ten years and one could say I am the best among the rest. I knew I’d end up doing desk work, with any company willing to pay me good enough money so I could pay my bills, which are mostly credit cards.

Thanks to both my educations-formal in the academia and mentors in the “real world”-I have a career in the endless twiddling of thumbs, whistling tunes of past and present and bemoaning of my decision to continue this path of an otherwise unfulfilling promise to climb towards the glass ceiling of opportunities that awaits most women in my profession.

Jobs like mine are good to fall on with all the nice benefits and free meals that go with being owned pretty much by a large company such as the one I work. I like my current job honestly.

I wish I could go on a nice vacation somewhere away from the Bay Area for once and enjoy the surf and warm Sun on a white sand beach while sipping a margarita with a significant other, wherever he may be.

That is why I work in the finance sector in order to learn how to make money and lots of it; so I myself could move on and out of the rat race. My financial knowledge is still basic and of course, if I were well off, I wouldn’t be working the normal 9 to 5 job in a cubicle with a bunch of other people struggling to raise a family or to pay off their mortgage.

Mort-gage to me means death (from the root word ‘mort’) until you are really much too old (from the word of ‘age’) to stop working by the way.

There are better alternatives awaiting me and I still cannot locate that unanswered calling. I know now that the ultimate move should be made by me. But I knew not how to proceed just yet. So my best option is to wait and see.

I’ve been ever so patiently waiting for the past six years for any sign of improvement in my financial situation. This is my major karma-big time. For anything taken or given away, whatever the case may be, is truly gone and never to return.

Or if anything does show up, then by natural law should be shared to help others in need. Nothing is ever a gift or a blessing when the gold at the end of the rainbow is used to harm others.

I think my thumb could use some ice now. This particular blog entry took me around forty-five minutes to compose due to my attempt in combining two more topic entries that I will post later on.

In the meantime, I’ll “stay put” and continue to work diligently at this company until either both my middle fingers flare upwards at any moment (or at anyone for that matter) or whenever the zeros in my bank account(s) expand, if any.

  • 20060224-Too Close

Personal space is considered at arms length. And I prefer to keep the distance between strangers that way. To avoid smelling their bad breath flying right into my nostrils and to reduce my chance of getting colds or flu-like symptoms are two good reasons not to get too close.

The only time people would ever get within arms length of me is when my bad hearing cannot pick up a word they say. I’d find myself asking, “What?” Other times are to get to know the significant other up close and personal.

Yesterday, a co-worker had a run into some nut ball from the sales department and claimed that the person was so close both would almost seem like they were going to kiss. So my co-worker, who happens to be happily married, had to push away that person who became embarrassed. I do not know if she reported to the supervisor.

Another weird incident occurred when a co-worker of mine slammed his hand on my cubicle and became verbally loud to me that I told him off loudly in return somewhat half-heartedly and jokingly to avoid tripping him off further.

Of course, he mentioned to me that I sounded like his whiny wife and that he wanted us to get married. Some people truly need a reality check. He is divorced, of course. And I ended up reporting to the supervisor what had transpired.

Closeness is for needy people who want to have healthy relationships; while connecting is for sharing people who need to form healthy relationships. Am I making myself clear here?

Both stories above are true and happen to be good examples of how being too close in a physical sense is not very conducive in a working environment. I often wonder if the hardly reliable (H/R) people are aware that the supervisors have received complaints. But who cares, right?

Now getting too personal is another tricky scenario. With the internet being used for all sorts of dis/information sharing activities, it is no wonder that being online is more popular than ever before.

We may have found our new black box, the former television. Instead of watching media driven programming on popular cable news stations, where we sit hours on end with remote control in one hand and beverage or food in the other, we get to participate with other online users.

We find ourselves wanting to be close to certain organizations or groups of people that meet our expectations and who may hold answers to our never ending questions. I think this is called information sharing.

How do we know if what we encounter online is real if we are not there first hand to experience what the other person alleges to have happened? It’s hard to say and leaves the inquirer probably more confused than enlightened afterwards, I suppose.

For example, would anyone believe me if I shared my near miss accident on the highway with a large, black SUV, which was trying to cut me off at high speed? This blond lady has all the time in the world to speed up ahead of the far right line on northbound 880. Instead she chose to signal her intentions to piss me off. I sped out from behind her and went ahead of the slow moving traffic.

In another example, would anyone believe me if moronic kids/adults alike spat out their windows in my direction as I drove happily on the road minding my own business? I have fingered individuals many times for spitting out their windows of their vehicles.

So this goes to show, that for the most part, information provided by the originator(s) of the source(s) could be disinformation unless witnessed by more than one person. Providing visual and audio evidence is much better than testimonials. Because no-one in their “right” mind would believe a kook, a nut ball, a weirdo, right?
