At around 22:53pm, the boy called his mother and told her:
Mom, I wanted to say goodnight to you. I love you.
Maw just finished saying her prayers and went to sleep. Of course her voice was deeply harsh from being awakened by the phone softly ringing in front of her. It almost sounded like she was dying.
I usually know when bad something is going to happen.
That is what the boy said (sometime last week during his popover for lunch one day) about Milan, whom he spent more time with prior to their break-up within their last week together. This week he said the following too:
Mom, I will spend more time with you and Dad.
And he did visit twice this week and made this surprise phone call tonight.
I told Maw that she may have said her evening prayers TOO HARD! And the boy may have responded to her telepathically somehow. But I felt this phone call is related to her medical condition.
As per the doctor inquiry this week, she told the doctor that she has been feeling worse since the last year and experienced chest pains two nights ago and shortness of breath this month.
So I figured that I would type up a poem in preparation for some sort of eulogy [knock on wood]. She is a strong woman but her parts are wearing down. It’s about her being the strength of our family.
