  • 20091219-Kind Tests

After reading my second holiday card of the season, I received not only one `blessings` but two thanks and two kindness. While napping off this morning’s meal of rice and piggy skins (thanks to Maw), my mind started drifting into its usual inner dialogues.

I recalled the story of kindness towards a little boy and tried to put two pieces of the puzzles together. I have since re-read that article and hate tear-jerking but memorable endings! So it is: be kind to others. There can be no wrong when remembering how to treat others less than `normally average.`

I know: It’s hell living with one who is also considered `unnatural` and until yesterday couldn’t believe how our family coped with that Taurus, a stubborn yet sentimental bull-headed man. Anger and hatred should be in the picture but more aloof and ignoring are now the words to describe our relationship.

It’s not fair. But when faced with reality, it’s all about acceptance and putting on a happy smile, yellow or white teeth optional, or a Cheshire grin from cheek to cheek.

Addendum: I noticed the article number had a double digit of four and the time stamp of double one’s and two’s.

  • 20091218-Still Wrong

    `Respect is earned not deserved.`

    ~Old soul (12/18/2009)

Okay, then. I cannot wait until they have children of their own. Their children will have minds of their own and then we will see who will respect. If the Chinese have their superstition, the Filipinos have theirs: What these twosome did to the elders, their children will do to them. BAM!

Oh and by the way. In the Filipino culture, the Twit would be considered very disrespectful. The boy has not taught her well. He care more for her Chinese culture than where he came from. I wonder if his relatives, friends or even complete strangers know what is REALLY going on inside his mind.

  • 20091217-Pleasant Day

Later this afternoon, there were high altitude clouds rippling in the skies. I believe those are HAARP clouds. They were white in color. I took a long mid-afternoon nap while the sun warmed the upstairs. Earlier, Maw pulled more of my white hair from from noggin after doing her pedicure.

  • 20091217-Third Ride

For three days (12/14, 12/15 and 12/17), I’ve been driving the boy to and from the auto shops – twice to Allied Transmission (off Roberts Ave.) and once this morning at Calabazas R.V. (off Lafayette St.). I know what it’s like to be without transportation and the stress of an automobile that smells like sulfur or gasoline and that rattles after trying to trouble shoot with the aforementioned former repair shop. The boy seems happy that his older sister drives him.

  • 20091215-Stop It

`Why are people always coming to me? All I want to do is help! They keep telling me I’m their mother!`

    ~Maw

`Put a peephole into your door. Don’t invite trouble into your lives/property. Tell them you are NOT their mother.

    ~M. Borges

There comes a time when one’s innocent path to help those in the most need must be stopped. When the repeat offender does nothing to improve, then the helper can do no more for that lost soul.

`Let them be. You hold nothing over their heads. They have their own lives. You have yours to live. `

    ~Old soul (12/14/2009)

  • 20091215-Nice Guy

After calling 1-408-277-8900 at around 21:05pm and speaking with an agent, M. Borges (3825) came over and talked with the emotional Maw (mostly) from around 21:30pm to 22:00pm. Was professional, clean cut and has a nice smile with two fanged teeth. Then at 22:05pm, the SJPD left at the same time a sister drove the maroon-colored Dodge Caravan ES to the divorced nutter’s house next door to us.

  • 20091215-Nutters’ Insecurity

My paternal relatives are a bunch of weaklings! I swear!

Auntie Malnorm: Her hands are so big! She came and didn’t greet the people there and plopped over next to and old lady, our granny, who made faces of twists and turns when Maw called to Paw in his full Filipino name and rather loudly.

Uncle Gigalo: Paw asked him why he was coughing so much. But as typical of the paternal relatives, he wouldn’t speak a word about his moderate emphysema! These people hide the truth, their weakness and continue to show their strength during their dying days. Fakers.

Cousin Shill: I remember her crying over the phone to Joseph, the stalker later on after the break-up or the mouse as per her Maw, because he was shorter than her. She complained about not being able to breath after ingesting medicine to control her acne. I drove her to Kaiser in Hayward, CA in my new car long ago. She stopped crying when I sped up to get her into the emergency room. Fakers.

Uncle Henpeck: He was a no show because his wife, Babel, who worked at the nursing home, had a fight with the Bitter one. He was supposed to have been TOO SICK to show his pock-marked face. Fakers.

Auntie Malouse: She had chest pains two Fridays ago and went to the emergency room. For all we know, there was nothing friggin’ wrong with her except that she didn’t take one of thirteen or more pills. She hugged Paw for a long time during old granny’s birthday party and then me for a few moments longer. I don’t feel sorry for her. I noticed her very TIRED-looking, husband James was cleaning up, tying the plastic bags of garbage for throwing away. Fakers.

Uncle Dead: He claims to have lumbar problems. Maw has scoliosis and osteoporosis. I have a double herniated disk. I remember how he wouldn’t help clean up after the party of old granny three or more years ago. f I were CA state, I would strip him of his disability. Fakers.

Auntie Maldeath: She is still loud but appears to need guidance (from the likes of moi, who can be loud, too. Brouhaha!). She mentioned her strength and how she overcame the death of son, Kev, and the death of her father, my lolo, whom I believe couldn’t reconcile with the daughter for going off and getting pregnant with Kev out of wedlock. She used her ugly black forest cake, which I half-drop when her pissed off husband, Orge, handed it to me rather roughly,  over our Goldilocks, mocha-flavored cake with flowers. Fakers.

Uncle Smack: His family came late and left within five minutes because Uncle Gigalo wanted us to visit the Bitter one. He wore the usual casual clothes of jeans, rubber shoes and tight double-knitted shirt. I pointed out that similarity in clothing to the Twit’s husband, the boy.

Everyone else related to my paternal side are strangers.

Summary of nutters: The point is there are psychos who make themselves sick and expect sympathy for being helpless. They won’t get pity from me except an internal laughter of – good for you, losers – my bad!

  • 20091214-Nutter’s Sister

After I called Paw once and Maw the second time, Maw said that she would pay a visit next door and let Juan, the second husband, a Honduran, know what his psychotic wife did earlier this morning around 09:00am.

Then I came home and heard Maw call Luz, who rattled on and on and on about nonsense, as if she didn’t want Maw to say another word. Luz mentioned that her husband would hang Linda if she comes to their house again. Luz also joked around that if Linda does go home in the Philippines for treatment the relatives could put a pillow over her sister’s face and suffocate her.

  • 20091214-Nutter’s Kids

Maw made Virgil smile. Paw told him to stand like a man @ 20yrs. Told both Melinda & him to come over our house this week for candid talk on life of happiness..

  • 20091215-Nutter’s Sister

At 930am, I heard a lot of loud sounds from downstairs and saw my bio-units talking with Aida, whose also seeking psychiatric help. Paw had his left sneakers on and untied but had the right slipper on. Maw was talking with Aida.

Aida was sobbing and had red eyes and swollen nose from boogers. As soon as I came downstairs, she approached me, sobbing into my left vest and thanking me for understanding. I told her:

`I’ll report [your sister] to the police the next time she messes up because I cannot take it anymore.`

She begged me please don’t do that because of the kids, and that she had already paid $3,000.00 to bailout her sister, Linda, and another $2,000.00 for attorney’s fees. She is still paying for her VISA credit card bills as a result.

Then she stepped back away from me as if fearful of my Americanized way. You see folks, I’m slow to anger and VERY patient, which allows some people to avoid being turned in to the authorities. But I smiled at her and at Maw and told her I won’t go that far.

I mentioned that although we are Filipino, that may be lucky because some other cultures might not be so tolerant of fellow nutters, like Linda. She wouldn’t hear me and like Luz  tried to divert my attention away from the issue.

She was about to see herself out the door but cried some more about writing her relatives back home and not knowing what else to do. I saw Maw crack a smile, knowingly that the fool should not have bailed out the nutter as a lesson.

We left for our day’s errands and I noticed that the CA license plate number to Aida’s red-colored sedan of a boat ended in 333.

  • 20091215-Domino’s Effected

At 8:55am, Paw explained how the electrical garage door had opened between the time of 21:00pm and 22:00pm last night. From the breakfast table, his eyes lighted up! A big smile formed. And he got up quickly and motioned for me to see how the incident might have occurred.

After unplugging the Christmas lights and check the locks and garage doors, he went inside the closet in front of the foyer. He checked a plastic container of batteries. Then he pulled and either the container or a battery may have hit the control to two of the garage door openers, hanging from the key holders to the left of the inside of this closet. Voila!

    Maw was not convinced.

  • 20091215-More Spooks

I awoke around 07:30am to the sound of Maw making coughing sounds from her severe allergies prior and during old granny’s birthday party on 12/13/2009, which was raining and smelled of molds, mildews, fugi, etc.

Then I striped her bed linens, brought those downstairs to be washed and greeted the parakeets, made noisy sounds and poked my fingers those the bird cover and through the bars for Pimon and Binky to chew.

I loaded up the laudry, put the soap, went upstairs to retrieve the rest of the blankets, dropped off the load again and went to the parakeets, noticed that their seeds were not touched. It must be to yucky for them to taste. So at around 07:39am I went to get some tastier parakeet seeds located in the garage.

Lo and behold, the electric garage door was WIDE OPEN! That was RARE! The regular door leading from the house to the garage was locked and Paw was sure he closed the electric garage door after unplugging the Christmas lights to the front and the main surge from inside the garage. I closed the garage and yelled for Paw to come and looked.

Nothing appeared to have been touched. We created assumptions that the little `duende` did it, or my little garage door opener from inside my bag was touched or that the government or little aliens were the culprit. Dammit!
