  • Some German words to Castle Wolfenstein…

    • (Halt!) / Stop!
    • Kommen, sie! / Come here!
    • Ausweiss! (Ausweiss!) / Passcard!
    • Heil! / Great!
    • (Shooting sounds – one or two successive)
    • Ah!

    • Was ist los? / What’s going on?
    • (Shooting sounds!)
    • Ah!

    • Halt!
    • Kommen, sie!
    • Langsam! (Slow down!)

  • Feature widget area…

“Widgets placed here will appear to the right of the featured slider, if the slider is enabled. This widget area works best with only one short widget.”

For the Feature widget area of the Theme: Nuntius by Automattic: I used the “Nuntius Tabbed Widget”. It fits nicely to the right of the slider, when the limit of six line items, assuming all “post-title” wraps around to the next/second line, is used.

  • Header widget area…

“Widgets dragged here will appear inside the header area, to the right of the site title. This widget area works best with only one short widget.”

For the Header widget area of the Theme: Nuntius by Automattic: I used the “Search” (bar). It fits nicely to the right of the “site-title” element.

  • Contact the seller.

“If your item hasn’t arrived or isn’t as described, contact the seller first. Give them a chance to make things right for you.”

“System Alert | This User does not have access to Voice Services.”

An annoying message on the left sidebar to the AT&T account via the “Voice Details | Voice Messages” a few minutes ago.

  • 404 File Not Found…

At around 11:00 PM or so, I was trolling Kenny boy’s website and clicked on a link but got an alert from my browser that:

“Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because the protocol (ttp) isn’t associated with any program.

    [OK]”

So I clicked the OK button but got the following error message:

“Sorry! The file you requested can’t be found. Most likely it’s still available, but its file name or location has been changed. You should be able to navigate your way to the file you’re looking for from our home page.

Your browser should re-direct you to our home page within a few seconds, but if it doesn’t, you can access it here: [Ewww!]”

  • I “agree” (for now)…

After logging into my tumblr.com account, there is little pop-up window that read as follows:

Hi! We’ve updated our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. The new documents have lots of benefits for you. For example, we’ve reinforced that you keep ownership of your content, dropped some legal obligations, and clarified our privacy procedures and community guidelines. Please take a look:

  • Goshdarnit!

“Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault.

We’ve just been notified of the problem.

Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.”

  • Request to cancel premium theme…

At 22:11 PM tonight, I reverted back to a “free theme” here at WordPress.com and received the following email in my inbox:

    “Hi,

Please confirm you would like to cancel the following premium theme:

    Debut on https://thebloggingpath.wordpress.com

For security reasons you must click the following link to confirm cancellation:

    https://thebloggingpath.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?action=canceltheme&id [nice numbers here]…

    Regards,
    WordPress.com”

Earlier I filled out a nice pop-up box for the following:

    “Reason for cancelling:

I’m looking for an “ideal” theme that will allow me to “add, remove, edit” elements as well as “click and drag to rearrange” and design the layout of my weblog. Thank you.

    [Cancel and Refund]”

Then inside a light yellow banner towards the top of my dashboard via “https://thebloggingpath.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?update=requestcancelthemeemail”, the following message showed:

“You requested a refund for a premium theme. Please check your email for a message with a confirmation link.”
