  • 20090611-Prayer Journal

    Long ago while shopping @ farmers’ market (Milpitas, CA) with Maw, we were approached by a white guy with gray hair. He seemed to look at Maw and asked her: ‘What language do you speak’?

    Of course, I remembered a quote by ‘Al Bundy’ from the American sitcom, televised show entitled: ‘Married With Children‘. I loved that show and responded with a wide grin:

    Why? We speak AMERICAN!

    He looked down at his handful of coins and smiled while deciding which ones to hand to us. He handed us this circular-shaped object, probably said something and walked away as we took the our coin with thanks.

    I don’t remember the exact of receiving this coin but it was a sunny and hot day. I do recall another person sitting underneath the tree when we exited with our grocery full of vegetables and that person also appeared to be a old Veteran.

    On Monday, the crazed, old woman (Seniora Josie) gave us some nice stuff. I chose a Novena Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua:

    St. Anthony of Padua
    St. Anthony of Padua

    O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures made you worthy when on earth to possess miraculous powers.

    Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me (request). Ths answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.

    O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.

    Amen.

  • 20061125-Dream Journal

    I’ve edited my blast for this Yahoo! profile based on two headlines from CNN. ‘What next?’ and ‘What can be done?’ are two from this show and I have thought to include a possible clue from this morning’s dream of four golden events in the form of a cross to these two queries.

    The counter hit for this Yahoo! profile is currently 4989. This means an average of five to seven people have been visiting this site. I sense they too are seeking answers to their queries. I hope the unity group would provide clearer data for my big brain.

    I only feel their presence via head and ear pressure and do not ‘hear’ their thought patterns. I am not that yet evolved or awaken enough to know better. I too am observing and mirroring the effects of their experiences.

    My experiences are human and my clutter thoughts are human by nature. They have accessed data that belong to events that affected my conscious state and that is but a minuscule amount of data at any given moment. The truth is, however, out there. The answers are always within me, of course.

    Prayerful Poem:

    Angel of death and angel of mercy
    show unto my kindred folks the angel of fun.

    Fighting and fun are not the same.
    Finding lost love is not the game.

    There is no blame.
    There is no shame.

    Angle of fun is of the sun
    that warms the planet with its four golden sons.
