  • 20061110-Tall Tale

    A Fed nail
    found by sale.
    Weighing scale
    will not fail
    for their jail.

    Learned to lend
    to a friend
    with a pen.
    In the end,
    lawless men.

Author’s note: First attempt at Mini-monoverse poem.

  • 20061108-Fell Flying

    Let me out, I quit!
    Fell in the Bottomless pit.
    Leave no one behind
    or my DNA to find
    per a fire’s secret writ.

    Release us, we pray,
    from the brightest sunshine day!
    Fallen angels fly
    within the infinite ‘Pi’
    and without the constant ‘K.’

  • 20061106-Blank Mind

    Blanked my mind tonight!
    Focused on stilling the noise
    from my mind with good
    thoughts for all to awaken.
Heard nothing and saw gray scene.

    Another attempt at tanka.

  • 20061105-Stinky Stang

    I drive a gray horse –
This color of black and white
    is my compliment.
It spews the smell of decay
    after ten years of fighting.

    New license plate shows
the numbers four, four and five-
    like my phone number.
    Forty-four, a fifth square prime
    and happy, octahedral.

    A poem of two tanka.

  • 20061105-Allied Species

Calling all gods from far and wide!
We beseech to you no longer hide.
Come forth! We will not be denied!
We implore you to be our guide.

So many people have lost and cried.
Your volunteers need not have died.
Their efforts are not out of pride.
There really is no winning side.

The powers that be have really tried
to find your ways and turn the tide.
They returned to the past and lied
about fear and hate from outside,

    about the comets that collide,
    about warring nations worldwide,
    about angry meetings inside
and how they conquer and divide.

If you pursue a bumpy ride
take that path to a downward slide
always know there’s a longer stride
that leads you to an upward glide!

Please let us know what you decide.
We’ll promise for a smoother ride
for you to meet and know your bride.
With just a thought, we have complied.

Come home! So that we may provide
a place of resting- where you’ll reside.
So, brush you weary thoughts aside
and may your heavy heart subside.

  • 20061029-Beauty Marks

    Red dots and red spots
    appear almost every day
    on porcelain plain.
    Not grotesque but beautiful
    in every possible way.

    Brown ones and black moles
    lightly stained by painter’s hands
    on canvas of white.
Dark fur tanned under the sun
    and over rivers of blue.

    Two samples of tanka poems.

  • 20061029-Forgotten Stay

That place is where you all belong
for those who are no longer strong.
Do you hear me when you’re alone
    and forgotten in that unknown?

The gray haze should not be that way-
    the stolen freedom everyday.
Once inside there is no escape
buried alive by their red tape.

If teamwork is the game you play,
then take them back without delay.
There’s no time or place to compete
    but together we are complete.

  • 20061028-Iron Faith

    Faith is like iron.
Attracts love like a strong magnet
    Silver-white but rusts

Revised to a haiku poem on 02-25-2007.

  • 20061016-Quick Blink

A blink a few seconds ago
A ring in my left ear to go.
    Credit cards to enter.
    Learning to center.
    Sending out love.

A short poem describing experience while working.

  • 20061016-Water Molecules

    What is water?

    H2O
    Two parts hydrogen.
    One part oxygen.
    Makes water.

    Refreshing.

Patterned similiarly to poem under my blog entry of ‘20061016-Truth Tickles.’

  • 20061016-Truth Tickles

    What is Truth?

    Truth tickles.
    It makes me laugh.
    It makes me laugh more.
    It is the biggest joke.

    Whatever.

I remember reading an article online and discovered an interpretation of my Truth. A model for ‘20061016-Water Molecules.’

  • 20061015-Honolulu Hit

That is all I have to say.
    Long and overdue delay
No matter what games they play
    There’s only one truth – I pray.
    People will awake each day.
