  • 20110423-Wisdom’s Words

Here are some more notable wise words from Maw:

    • “Don’t support anyone in for the long-term. If they are people who are truly in need, you have the obligation to be there.”
    • “Don’t be controversial. If you don’t agree and it goes against your freewill, you have the right to say so.”
    • “Don’t get into trouble. If you have to be honest, say it without regret.”
  • Tossing Balls

This morning the priest was lecturing to some children. I don’t like any authority figure who claims to know all the answers and expect the listener(s) to follow through and understand each and every word. What I would like is for both sides to contribute to the discussion.

In my mind’s imagination, I see children at play. Play is fun when tossing balls. Whoever has the ball should toss it to someone, in the hopes that the ball will be returned for more fun. That’s how engaging minds should operate, not “DROP THE BALL”, “keep the ball rolling”, or expect “that’s the way the ball bounces”.

Balls can be controlled in the right hands and much better with both hands or more. Balls by themselves do nothing but look round. Balls are inanimate and like ideas, are tossed around until the holder(s) know what to do.

  • Bad Crows

At around 11:18am, I saw two black crows flying up past my computer room upstairs. I saw how they appeared to be chasing a smaller brown bird. I think the damn crows are hungry for some meat. So this is how the planet operates — give it up, your life is but food.

  • 20110408-Random Thoughts

Maw had told me a few days ago: “Don’t let anything bother you.” Oh! But I find that so hard to deal with after being a star witness to the stubborn minds who refuse to CHANGE for the better good of family and friends who refuse to say another word in disagreement.

Ah! But the story has many alternative endings.

Scenario One: I see that I’m not too far from first set of happy puppies. So I could easily run to save them and direct the train to the farthest track; thus, it would give me time to run to save the second set of happy puppies.

Scenario Two: I could have the control switch go half way and hopefully the train would jump its train BUT remain in an upright position. We are assuming there are no people and/or animals on this passenger train or that there no hazardous materials on board this freight train.

Scenario Three: I could just walk away and let karma decide which track the train is meant to travel. Either way, one set of puppies will go to heaven right away; while the other set of puppies will take longer to find peace ever after.

Scenario Four: I could turn into a super-hero and fly really fast or use my levitation powers to rescue both set of happy puppies and let the train pass by on schedule.

Scenario Five: I could imaging this topic never existed.

Topic #97: An out of control train is about to run over a pile of happy puppies. You are standing at the control switch and can pull the level to direct the train onto a different track, saving their lives. But that other track has a smaller pile of equally happy puppies on it. What do you do and why? Note: no actual puppies, happy or sad, were harmed in the making of this topic. Topic inspired by Peter Singer.

My rude awakening was when I told the truth. By lowering my pride, I revealed my stupidity and greed. Out of compassion, an elderly couple gave me a generous birthday gift meant to help me get out of a bind. I have no other means to repay them except my gratitude and daily servitude to their needs. The only other favors were prayers to keep from going insane, a job to stay afloat during these economic hardships and financial distress, good health and nice weather. Everything else is empty.

Topic #96: Describe a debt you have yet to repay. (Hint: it does not have to be a financial debt. Did someone do you a favor? Give you great advice? help you out of a bind?)

  • Humble Rumblings

It’s difficult to keep quiet when the soul is excited to share affirmations of gifting each other with love and light. I like the photos of that South Asian country — it almost looks like the Philippines — the wide nose, dark skin coloration, compound-like domiciles and casual clothes, too. The monkeys though are eaten and not a lot of plant and wildlife are left in the nearby country of mostly humidity and heat.

But like most things of this world, the more your brag (or tend to share online or in person) the reverse happens: What appears good for the gander may attach some bad along with the intentions. Again, my blog just flow without regard for content validity or otherwise. So don’t expect me to think for you and offer solutions that may not always “jive”. It’s how you interpret my random thoughts that’s more important and how you respond in kind regards.

  • Shutdown Government

While still chewing my food and after watching Neil Cavuto on televised cable programming a few seconds ago, I ran upstairs to enter this thought: the government MUST shut down as planned! The exceptions, of course, are the emergency crew and pals, such as police, fire, search/rescue, search/recovery, internet security, national security and such.

Everything else that doesn’t affect us hard-working, tax-paying American citizens include low level functions, such as repetitive data entry clerks, customer phone service representatives and those nasty postal clerks. Include those that are dumb and stupid and that annoy customers, too. Those that pretend to work when in fact they are just sleeping on the job, must stop working and go away.

We are tired of deceitful tactics of the Democrats. Don’t let the recent fuel tear from the Southwest airlines prevent the air traffic controllers from working normally. For all we know, the unions are trying to weasel their way back into the airline business. I no longer wish to hear about what had already happened and wonder if the laws would ensure that airliners follow strict rules. If the parts are old, replace it, duh!

The best gift is aging, the ability to die and not remember ever having to reincarnate. The worst gift is life in a fleshy body. Instead of enjoying life, living is a struggle — eating good food makes one fat, sleeping too much is just as bad, including “sleeping around” with multiple partners (or cheating), and pooping is a matter of processing already dead matter into waste. That’s how the world has been: The reverse of what it is supposed to be — peace. What appears to be beautiful is really hell. And war occurs inside one’s mind and outwardly as shown on mainstream media. Have you ever met someone so wonderful that you later on discover how equally if not more awful the dark side can be? Have you ever wondered why nature shows one predators killing a consumer? Have you noticed how repetitive the cycle of life and death is played?

If I had to re-gift, it wouldn’t be material objects. Although some place emotional values on these man-made trinkets, it’s really all empty. After all, only the beholder would fully appreciate what has been given as long as the memory is intact. Not amount of public viewing would be understood as the original recipient of precious thoughts. Once forgotten, a gift has but lost all its value until someone else cherishes said item(s) as much as the previous “owner(s)”. Wouldn’t it me nice if you could just hand someone your karmic debt and know what it really feels like to actually gift and re-gift? I’m sure the feelings would be mutual, eventually.

Topic #91: What is the best gift you’ve ever received? Bonus: what is the worst gift you’ve ever received? (Think re-gifting)

  • 20110331-Random Thoughts

My thoughts were about “my family” again and how much safer surfing is compared to the dangerous sport of snowboarding. I was thinking about the potential of injury and the rising cost of health care insurance. It was a thought when I ran towards my car after morning mass one morning and felt a pinch within my left hip socket.

Once again, freaks! Don’t get me wrong! I have my own life to live in the Bay Area. Don’t expect me, an unmarried, childless, unemployed spoiled brat, to oblige what is practially unrealistic and downright unaffordable. If other people than the twosome found out what I’ve been doing, they’d label me as crazy. And in hindsight, that’s it — crazy, for being “nice”.

I’m on the “Beach of Time”. The sands are endless and all around. The waves are crashing and sometimes calm. The sun is shining. The air is still, cool and smells of ocean. I notice no critters flying, swimming or crawling. To my right is foggy bank leading to the “past”. To my left is a foggy bank leading to the “future”.

First, I choose to close my eyes, relax to a blissful mediation and count backwards: 5-4-3-2-1. And I see myself walking back to the “past”. I try to tell myself not to get involved with foreigners and so-called religious leaders. Try as I may, I couldn’t hear myself and went ahead as expected. I closed my eyes again, counted forward 1-2-3-4-5 and walked back to the “Beach of Time”.

Next, I choose to close my eyes, relax to a blissful mediation and count backwards: 5-4-3-2-1. And I see myself walking up to the “future”. I try to tell myself not to worry anymore because my past was the best path without regret. Try as I may, I couldn’t hear myself and was convinced I made a mistake. I closed my eyes again, counted forward 1-2-3-4-5 and walked back to the “Beach of Time”.

I finally realized that my time is here and now: And it’s perfect. No matter how I dreamed, lucid or not, I’m always meeting people and learning as if those lucid dreams are real but “foggy”. Maybe I’m in a dream right now because I’m actively programming my matrix for harmony. There are no other words to describe one’s purpose than balance.

Topic #89: If you could script tonights dream, what would would the plot be? Bonus topic: There is a concept called lucid dreaming, where people are able to have some control over their dreams. Have you ever had a lucid dream? Would you want one?

You cannot ever recover a lost trust. That’s why I hate TPTB. They are “Legion”, like the blind fools in their prayer groups for the “Legion of Mary”, the Babylon Harlot riding high and mighty upon her idol worshipping of Mammon and Morons alike.

I cannot forgive a broken trust. Because I cannot forget what happened and why I worked so hard believing in their lies. And with those hard lessons and as a fool myself, I’ve learned to stop letting these and other fools betray my good faith in them.

Topic #88: How do you recover lost trust? In a person? In an idea? Bonus: If someone lets you down or betrays you, how do you learn to forgive? And can you possibly learn to trust them again? Why or why not?
