  • Two Accidents

Yesterday, I was on the NB HWY 101 for 45 friggin’ minutes from 8:30am to 9:15am. It was supposed to a normal commute of only 1/2 mile in length and because of an accident off Lawrency Expressway, which is farther up north, I had to come in later and of course leave later! I hate that!

After work, I drove homebound only to encounter another fender at the railroad intersection! Unbelievable! The two-door sedan had its left engine block smashed and the fender pieces of white, styrofoam material was astrew on the road in front of the car.

Two people were on stretchers. I saw one was a deeply tanned and skinny old man and the other one is probably his wife. The second vehicle was up on the center divide of smooth stone works with its right fender area smashed. She appeared to be an elderly woman with nice top and matching white colored slacks and shoes.

So Maw walked two blocks SLOWLY for five minutes to take a look with me from the shade of a corner street light until the infamous MATOS tow truck came to haul the broken vehicle.

Later during dinner, we figured out that the couple ran the red street light at high speed, just as the old woman was making a left into their lane, which is the right of only two lanes. That’s how the fender got clipped off.

I assumed/visulized they were in a hurry to see their grandchildren. Anyway, I took pictures of the SJFD truck and the scene, a blurry one with a moving vehicle and an up close shot of just the broken car.

  • Free Kittehs

After stepping out of our local parish, there was a family of three giving away free gray-colored kittens. One was the `mom` squatting next to a make-shift cardboard box container, the other was the tanned, surfer-like husband, and their scruffy-haired son, who was holding up one of these kittens.

    I said aloud: `Oh! Kitty! Oh! Kitty!`

It would have been nice to adopt those kitties but since I’m not the homeowner of the place I reside, I could not take them home.

  • Clean Teeth

I just got back from the dentist. So from 12:30pm to 12:45pm, I was driving fast on the road. But since I haven’t seen the dentist in over two years, I had fifteen minutes to fill out the paperwork again before the 1:00pm appointment.

For one hour (almost exactly), the dental hygienic took a full digital imaging (not the conventional X-rays but less that 90% of radiation) of my teeth. To reduce potential radiation exposure, I wore Shrimpsei’s brass-less, nano-pendant inside my left bra cup, which is over the heart area.

Then the cute, Vietnamese guy (who I thought was Filipino because of his dark skin) inspected the gums ranging from 1 for perfect to 5 for badly inflamed. I had mostly 2’s and 3’s with a few 4’s and one 5.

Next, he used the water-powered jet spray to deep-clean my gums and followed up with regular scraping of the plaque build-up with those sharp dental tools.

After addressing the removal of mercury fillings with the dentist, I decided to keep my silver amalgam. Why?

“If it is not broken, don’t fix it”

    ~Paw

Basically, there is no pain. Plus, I didn’t like the idea of my teeth being drilled out LARGER for new composite fillings. Since fillings won’t be fully covered by the temporary agency’s insurance until after six months of employment, I’ll wait until there is pain.

Then I hurried back to work and badged into the building around 14:30pm. As long as our boss knows where we are (via email, which is preferable), it’s better to be honest and professional.

  • Cute Guys

Well, around 5:30pm, I was busing myself with work. I noticed one guy was making paper noises near the printer area off to my right side. He had on a VERY light blue, long-sleeved shirt on. As he headed out the back door, he turned to look into my direction!

Yeah, right! Unfortunately, I don’t sport a heavy rack to make heads turn. As a matter of fact, I cover-up all the way up to the neck. For you see, this mostly Asian company is conservative. And I happen to wear conservative clothing of gabardine slacks and normal tops.

I barely caught sight of his momentary stare. What I saw was his straight, scruffy hair, slightly layers, light brown and the kind I could run my fingers through for good behavior. I like that image – so young, so clueless.

Yesterday, a tight-bodied, short-version of a George Michael (with mirrored sunglasses, six o’clock shadow of a beard and tight dark gray clothing) held the upstairs door opened for me. Hahaha! I love these guys! They’re unusually unique.

Oh! And yesterday, a new worker was introduced to the group. He looked like a Hispanic but is really an Asian Indian because of his last name. He goes by the name of John. That was easy to remember. If only I knew the names of the other cute guys, I’d be happily imagining bliss.

The guard downstairs seemed much quieter after I blogged about him a while back. It’s as if people at work really read my blog – or so I assume!

  • Tim Caught

Yesterday, Paw reported that he knows what has been happening to our garbage (not recycling bin). While he was hauling in the bigger recycling bin near the shared chain link fence with the divorced nutter next door to us, Paw caught sight of Tim the garbage man placing our smaller bin in front of the mailbox.

Maw said don’t bother talking to him. But Paw did and found out why. Tim said he was ticketed (with no mention specifically about the SJPD or his supervisor) for blocking the north end curve in front of our house! And Paw shook his hand afterwards.

Twice we reported the incident with no report back. Twice was Paw calling the city and once was an email sent by me. Apparently, the contractors working for the city garbage and recycling didn’t mention if we are putting the garbage in the wrong place of the street.

  • Dying Dinosaurs

After viewing a YouTube.com video last night about how archeologists would blatantly lie about humans ever seeing dinosaurs alive, I’ve come to the conclusion that humans are murderers of truth! From the video, it appears that the dinosaurs were around 400 years ago!

And because people are too stupid and barbaric, they’ve driven these beautiful creatures to extinction. These people include the Chinese who continue their outdated tradition of eating bones (i.e. dinosaurs, tigers, etc.) and everything else for medicinal purposes. Stupid!

Other stupid people happen to be those horse-riding, medieval knights, who are shown spear heading dragons to death. Instead of seeing a hero, I see the poor creature dying at the mercy of a barbaric human. What did these dragons deserve?

Also, I noticed how modern chickens are being used as foodstuff for fat humans with big butts and wide girths. Even the chicken eggs and other bird eggs are being mass produced and thus salmonella has recently spread in San Jose, CA.

A thought occurred to me today that humans are basically merciless and are eating dinosaurs to extinctions. I see a resemblance through the eyes of certain dinosaurs and modern birds. I don’t like what humans will be capable of doing to dolphins and whales and the rest of the animals.

  • Eating Snacks

I know I’m going to get fat at this workplace. Today I’ve gotten my `paws` on a raisin bagel and eaten that one in an hour. The temptation was to the smear the insides with cheese. But I resisted.

Yesterday, I ate a chocolate-glazed donuts. Charissa was so kind to pass the pink box around. John, the V.P., bought that for us. Wow! So we are be fattened up for working hard for quarter end, which is fine.

I like the non-skilled, stress-free workload and the location is near my home and within the same zip-code. So that makes for more exercise around the block full of shady trees and a few minutes of drive from my house.

If they hire us full-time, I’ll be happy. But only if payback comes first. At least I’m earning just about right, which is TWICE as less than what I used to make years ago.

  • Sluggish Walk

Today’s post-lunch walk was slow. I felt sluggish and probably due to pooping HARD last night and after mass this morning. I weighed myself to see that I’ve lost almost ten pounds in over one month’s time.

The walk this afternoon was shorter as I took the route off Component Drive. I forgot about the eBay campus as mentioned by a business planner yesterday in the woman’s bathroom. She didn’t like the bugs and I probably grossed her out after mentioning the first time I ever saw a small red scorpion on my path.

But today I saw lots critters of spiders, beetles, dragonflies and small birds. Also, I was able to see a white helicopter being remotely controlled by an old white guy. Another guy was with him but he was busy at the trunk of his white mini-SUV Mercedes-Benz.

So I walked and hummed to myself. The weather was sunny and clear blue skies. Some mistiness of blue was over Mt. Hamilton. My prescriptive shades not only helped make the scene crisper and less bright but made me appear spooky, if you will, and someone not to mess around with.

My late morning break was prior to noontime. A Spic started up his truck, went forward and intentionally reversed without stopping, knowing full well I was walking perpendicular to his run-over.

I flicked off nutball as I cleared the front of the white-colored CEL Landscaping truck. I circled up and down in front of the building and saw he wasn’t in his right mind. I tried to forgive but the usual curses under my breath ensued. I’m trying hard to be nice.

So Obama did a good thing by signing in more border patrols. If they want more illegals, who will be taxpayers, I could see why Obama was hesitant at first. If I had to work with certain people, I’d rather deal with crazy Asians than normal Hispanics, Latinos, and pals.

Then again I’d rather stay home and not have to deal with humanity whatsoever. Never mind!

  • Cute Guard

Well, what can I say? The guard downstairs is cute. He has dark, curly hair, a deep voice and long upturned eyes. He would ask in his sideway glance:

    • “How’s it going?”
    • “Have a good night.”

Ah! There’s nothing like an old fart (like moi) giggling in delight to see such beautiful people doing BLUE collar work. Yum.

  • 20100802-Weathery Ways

This morning (like yesterday) was rather bright, I think. The morning air smelled heavily of sulfur. That means the devil was in our neighborhood. I thought that the smell originated from the sewer located underneath the house across from us. But the air lingered well to our local church a couple of miles away.

The winds blew much cooler as I walked my three lapse around the block at work. Theresa D. joined me after Allen B. and her came from the north end of a road. It was such a nice day that I decided to get a $50.00 touch up on a couple of dings located on the right back fin and rear end bumper. I’ve yet to pay by check later on because I thought the detailer from the back parking lot would still be there after noontime.

  • Cute Guys

Well, what can I say? The cute guys are taken. Either they are married and/or have children. Or they are friggin’ gay! OMG! Why do I get the outlaws, the uglies, the poor, the bottom-feeders, etc. I guess it doesn’t matter as long as they wave to me and/or say: `Hi!`

Take for example Michael K. He is a tall Greek man with olive complexion and a skin head meant for swimmers. He has children of his own and damn he’s cute! He always has a smile on his face and waves at me and other people.

When Josey M. first introduced me to him (and the rest of the business planners), I couldn’t talk straight! I was trying to laugh of my obvious lack of response due to staring off into space or something. I’m stupid. I know.

So anyway, I’m laughing about my temporary stay here at work. All I could is grin and bear it while suffering the fate of being smitten in silence. Maybe it’s time to look for a companion, an ideal hunk to cook my meals and sing for me. Hehe!

  • Raid at Los Baños

The three of us watched Rescue at Dawn: The Los Banos Raid (2004) on the Military Channel.

    Raid at Los Baños

The raid at Los Baños in the Philippines, early Friday morning on February 23, 1945, was executed by a combined U.S. Army Airborne and Filipino guerrilla task force, resulting in the liberation of 2,147 Allied civilian and military internees from an agricultural school campus turned Japanese internment camp. It has been celebrated as one of the most successful rescue operations in modern military history. It was the second precisely-executed raid by combined U.S.-Filipino forces within a month, following on the heels of the Raid at Cabanatuan at Luzon on 30 January, in which 512 Allied military POWs had been rescued.

So Maw told me of how she road in an Amtrak, which floated across the bay and onto shore. As a child, she wasn’t scared but just looked on as people got off the amphibious vessel. Only one of her brothers didn’t make the war. The rest of her family escaped to the mountains.

The old black and white footage showed around one thousand  starving civilians (of skin and bones and on the verge of death) being fed by others from aluminum garbage cans filled with soup. Most made the rescue mission by the 11th airborne division, which parachuted down to the prison camp in Los Baños.

Again, as expressed in my old blog entries, if it were not for the Americans, Philippines would have been slaughtered by the Japanese, who actually massacred over one thousand Filipinos in their towns and those seeking safety in a mission.

Most Filipinos are Catholics and believed God has sent the Americans to free them from the Japanese. Without former guerrillas to aide in hacking off the heads of these Japanese, the Americans would have had no support.

Without the aide of Filipinos to sneak food to these starving people, the Americans would have died. I could see how helpful Filipinos are back in those simpler days. However, the times have changed and today’s Filipinos are still good-natured but money and its evil have taken hold of these now greedy people.

To this day, some Filipino people (like my cousin) don’t see Japanese gardens as friendship but as reminders of a past of suffering and death. How ironic history has brought us this far.
