  • 20090907-No More

    For the past few days, I’ve been trying to ween myself from using the cellphone, primarily for blogging with ONE hand and an overworked right thumb! So if you, my dear readers, notice less blog entries, it’s because I’m getting nowhere with blogging, which is fast becoming BORING! I really need to get a damn JOB!

    Noone calls me and I don’t call anyone; so the chance of killing my brain cells with radiation from OVER-using mobile phones is slim, except my lifestyle still includes microwave radiated food because I still live with my elderly bio-units, who insist that damn oven speeds up the heating time of foodstuff.

    Anyway, I’ve been placing my cellphone to the left side of a statue of the baby Jesus with a red crown. And this is in hopes of not getting anymore dreaded collection calls from banksters who really owe moi. But really, I’m hoping for that blessed call. If nothing materializes after everything stops, then it’s show time or more like a call to action for HELP, not 9/11 but something I should have done after two weeks of nothing long ago.

    Due to technical difficulties with previous themes and the face that I ain’t got NO satisfaction with just ONE theme, I’m back with the free theme here at WordPress.com:

    In addition, I’ve tweaked my paid CSS stylesheet upgrade to include the original flowery images:

    • bg.gif – background:##556777 url(‘images/bg.gif’) repeat-x;
    • wrapper.gif – background:##EEEAE8 url(‘images/wrapper.gif’) repeat-y;
    • header.gif – background:# url(‘images/header.gif’) no-repeat;
    • content.gif – background:# url(‘images/content.gif’) no-repeat and
    • sidebar.gif – background:# url(‘images/sidebar.gif’) no-repeat top right;.

    TIP: Add an extra pound sign (#) before the `url` section of each `background` images. This will bring up the original flowery designs without having to upload, copy and paste each one.

  • 20090906-Hearing Sounds

    Whenever I report my aches and pain rather out loud to my family (of Maw and Paw mostly indoors), Maw would say to me, not cruelly, but to assuage my fears:

    It’s all in your head!

    The other night I was listening to CoastToCoastAM.com with George Noory, who shared auditory experiences of very high tones in which a caller mentioned hearing tones ~bong~.

    All I could add is that the sounds CAN be silenced. That CAN be done through meditation. I did and it worked but I could only hold the QUIETNESS for only about half a minute.

    Listening to CoastToCoast.AM with George Noory and his guest Joseph Jacobs, who discussed that machines, such as your car clunkers and ATM machines, have consciousness. When my Ford Mustang wasn’t functioning well in the past few months and after bringing it in for a tune-up of over $800.00, I was actually talking to the car, thinking that it wasn’t being treated well. Now it runs rather nicely when I don’t rev up too fast with it. I also visited Joseph’s site and saw the counter as 360022.

    Listening to CoastToCoastAM.com about speculations on religious conspiracies to destroy the planet. In my opinion, God wouldn’t be pleased with these old farts and their twisted ways of destroy the Truth of love and beauty in nature and among humans as the gardeners of plants and caretakers of animals. As far as my feelings dictate and from my observation, all religion hold basic Truth. Christianity, Islam and Judaism must work together and stop hiding behind outmoded thinking and words of past. Oh my goodness.

    At 22:33pm, Maw walked with a distinct shuffle of her slippers towards the bathroom and says to me:

    I’m going to the bathroom.

    Earlier today and while doing the laundry, I went to check the washing machine. This is NOT the only time that I’ve encountered the timer reading as:

    :33 remaining.
