  • Too much affection…

    Bully and Buddy are parakeets. They are father and son, respectively. They love each other affectionately by kissing and grooming each other. Sometimes Buddy would try to mount Bully.

    At 12:33pm, I saw how YeYo tried to mount Winnie. Both are female parakeets. YeYo was king kissy faces at Winnie earlier. Of course, Winnie responded by raising her tail.

    The boys saw what was going on and both flew down from their swings to disrupt the moment. Yeyo the old eight year old bird flew off Winnie and clung to the opposite end of the cage.

    I guess being unnaturally caged is causing these bird to seek out something to compensate what can be done in the wild.

  • Skinny baby blue jay…

    At 12:36pm, the baby blue jay took a quick shower in our bird bath out back.

    Yesterday at around 12:00pm, the baby blue jay was making lots of noise in our back yard.

    It came swooping down from the cloths line and into the “pomelo” tree where I assumed it was born.

    It continued to mimic its VERY loud screeching noise every three seconds interval.

    It then swooped down on Maw’s make-shift block of wood with small tiles.

    It continued to make its noise while it eyed me and heard me mimic its noise.

    It flew to the top of the green-colored, plastic lawn chair and continued to make its noise.

    The parakeets were scrambling inside their cage from fright at the sight of this bigger bird of blue color.

    It then flew straight ahead and southward.

  • 20110727-Noticing Numbers

    At 2:33pm yesterday, the dashboard of Paw’s Mazda Protogev displayed the following numbers:

    • 39,909 (odometer) and
    • 897.7 (speedometer).

    At 8:33am today, the dashboard of Paw’s Mercedes Benz E430 displayed the following numbers:

    • 36,613 (speedometer).

    As I drove through the parish parking lot, I noticed a honey bee clinging to the outside window of the driver’s seat. I tried to travel slow at under 30 miles per hour but the wind was too strong for it. It climbed on the roof and then disappeared. 🙁

     

  • Love dove calling…

    Oh hark! At 2:46pm, I heard the morning dove calling in the afternoon:

    “Wah-hee-coh-coh-coh!” (three times)

    “oh, Wah, ho!” (six times) It’s now 2:48pm.

  • Jumping spider…

    Here is a photo showing a jumping spider on my blue T-shirt (from Michaels’ Arts and Crafts). The spider was located over heart area and I noticed it while trying to mix up Maw’s cup of “Edible Earth”. It wouldn’t get off my shirt when I tried to place it into a plant and I panicked when it moved off somewhere else. I don’t know where it went.

  • Caring for Your Street Trees

    Currently, my online research brought me to “http://www.sanjoseca.gov/tree/Caring_for_Your_Street_Tree.asp”. The property owner with an adjacent plot is responsible for the care and maintenance of street trees.

    Also, I see “Species Diversity” is important as per the webpage “http://www.sanjoseca.gov/tree/trees_diversity.asp”. Which leads me to believe that like trees, multi-culturalism among people is important.

    Further, before removing your trees, it would be nice to find out if the BIGGER and TALLER ones have any historical values, such as the ones I found on this webpage “http://www.sanjoseca.gov/tree/trees_heritage.asp”.

    I think I’ll have to call the city’s arborist to come over and determine the fate of the VERY old eucalyptus tree because it’s very difficult to keep the dried leaves, branches and twigs from entering our backyard. Maw likes the trees located near Lowe’s

    At the same time, I was thinking also of removing Paw’s ugly slabs of cement so that I could beautify that piece of area. I know that those dumping at the base of the eucalyptus tree is telling us that it’s time to make changes to the environment.

  • Black Beetle

    This morning we arrived prior to the 8:00am Morning Prayers. But I saw a big black beetle and I wasted to scoop it up in the paper to bring outdoors to run free. Oh! But it’s little black antennas scanned the paper. It then paused and started to run away very fast! I back up and out of its way as it went underneath the raised feet of the Vietnamese old lady. I wish it well.

  • 20100908-Weathery Ways

    While en route to this morning’s mass, I saw two baby trees. I thought to myself: “If only the community would take the extra time to water their neighbor’s plant, that would make a more lush garden for all to enjoy.”

    Yesterday had some big, horizontal clouds forming in the evening. And now this morning is cold with an overcast of white clouds and the smell of pending rain. I was thinkng that maybe the rain could come and water the baby trees and provide some water to the parched lands and animals, too.

  • Cool Sun

    While walking in the scorching heat of the outdoors, my mind createde again! This time it’s about the sun. I think the actual sunrays are cool and not hot.

    I noticed that the shades underneath the trees are cool; while the patches of exposed, gray-colored sidewalks are hot. I believe the earth itself is warmed up enough that the radiant energy from the ground warm up the surrounding air!

  • Same Love

    After stepping out of my local parish this morning, my mind created again. As mentioned in my previous blog entry, gays have the right to marry and are entitled to the same benefits as heterosexual marriages.

    Last night, Maw and I saw the sweetest form of affection. Both Bully-Boy and Buddy-Boy were grooming each other’s heads. You see, they are father and son, respectively. But for whatever reason, Bully, the turquoise colored one, has no clue that the Lutino (a completely yellow-colored parakeet or albino) is NOT the female known as YeYo, who is also a Lutino.

    So while both are males, they do NOT have sex or even dry hump like the stupid homosexual humans, who take that same clueless love too far in the eyes of God. Humans have debased themselves BELOW (or LOWER) than animals, who know better than to have sex with the same gender!

    Further, if these gays (or lesbians or whatever) truly love each other in a spiritual sense, they do NOT need to follow the propaganda behind homosexual marriage and the STATE laws and regulations to DICTATE or enforce the behavor of `free love`. Get it?

  • Bugs Visiting

    Right now, a beige-colored critter flew and landed inside my cubicle. It’s to my right line of sight. Yesterday, I had pick up a dead bee. It was squashed against my dirty blue chair at work. It was upside down and it stuck a little bit to the cushion. I assume that it hitched a ride on my slacks and then I sat down on it. R.I.P.

  • Dying Dinosaurs

    After viewing a YouTube.com video last night about how archeologists would blatantly lie about humans ever seeing dinosaurs alive, I’ve come to the conclusion that humans are murderers of truth! From the video, it appears that the dinosaurs were around 400 years ago!

    And because people are too stupid and barbaric, they’ve driven these beautiful creatures to extinction. These people include the Chinese who continue their outdated tradition of eating bones (i.e. dinosaurs, tigers, etc.) and everything else for medicinal purposes. Stupid!

    Other stupid people happen to be those horse-riding, medieval knights, who are shown spear heading dragons to death. Instead of seeing a hero, I see the poor creature dying at the mercy of a barbaric human. What did these dragons deserve?

    Also, I noticed how modern chickens are being used as foodstuff for fat humans with big butts and wide girths. Even the chicken eggs and other bird eggs are being mass produced and thus salmonella has recently spread in San Jose, CA.

    A thought occurred to me today that humans are basically merciless and are eating dinosaurs to extinctions. I see a resemblance through the eyes of certain dinosaurs and modern birds. I don’t like what humans will be capable of doing to dolphins and whales and the rest of the animals.
