20221004-1135. I don’t think I’m neither finished nor will ever stop tweaking the appearance of my blog due to AMP incompatibility and the like.
I’ve been sampling OLD and installing NEW themes but I simple couldn’t make those work due to HUGE graphics and other animated stuff.
So I reverted back to Blank Canvas theme by team Automattic.
I was using the Safari browser but kept getting error messages. Now I’m using the Brave browser and stuff stopped jumping around and there were no pauses, freezes, or error messages.
I had to review all the Editor > Templates and Editor > Template Parts, cleared all customizations and started over.
For some strange reason, the Site > Editor theme has been forcing me to use “Footer Only” as this is probably a sleight-of-hand trick or gentle nudges that my blog is mostly offensive rants and that I should instead use excerpts and images to distract from my personal diary material.
So the default Editor > Site included:
- one “Post Content block” with a “Cover block” which sports my HUGE Site Logo from Fiverr.com and a “Paragraph block” which has my simple Welcome message; and
- one “Footer block” which has my customized three “Column blocks” and one “Paragraph” block for my generic creator credit.
Within each of the three columns blocks, I have three column blocks, which had its own “Header block” and “List block”?
See? Voila!
