At 1220 pm and after putting away the grocery from DeCA, I’m able to escape the damn house-wife’s meme of Maw downstairs and quickly blog upstairs about today’s event.
To the Boss:
I’m stressing out! What part of “no” does your Mom NOT understand? Can’t I have at least one day/weekend time-off/break? I’m already burning out just committing myself to two groups and I just don’t feel comfortable standing next to a kid and letting her Mom accompany us.
I really want to avoid your Mom’s “confidential” conversation/gossip/whatever. I really just want to sing but I can’t refuse her “kindness” without hurting her feelings and at the same time getting sick to my stomach. I’m not feeling well and my sleep is not great recently. I don’t know. Whatever.
It may be this alleged “beta” programming (which I borrowed/stole online), just like the twit wifey, to agree and never refuse any good opportunity in the hopes, I guess, to avoid controversy. I don’t understand why I feel so strongly about being notified in such a manner. I must be picking up residual emotions that is in conflict with my understanding.
I hope y’all can do without me because y’all have been singing/know each other longer than me and I feel like a total outsider/stranger, seriously. It’s like being left out and being used as a damn plug to keep “normalcy” and appearance up. I’m sensitive to those around me and some personalities are NOT friendly. I take it hard, I guess.
Anyway, could you please tell her to stop bothering me unnecessarily via phone calls, emails, text messages? I really don’t like talking on the phone, which is why I don’t return her phone calls, because my verbal skills, well, sucks and I can’t answer/hear fast/properly enough. I’ll get “talker’s block” or “brain-freeze” when I’m unsure how to answer any inquiry. Plus, the reception on her iPhone is VERY poor and I’ll misunderstand the conversation.
Thanks,
Flynn…
