Yesterday there were lots of double digits for the number two, for example a grocery receipt showed $2.26 for change.

Today I see another message to moi! A previous blog entry – 20100514-Bloody Truth – showed a time/date stamp of Fri, May 14, 2010 at 15:13:33 pm. Notice the triple digits for the number three!

    Ack!

  • 20100514-All Gone

    `To loose something` or `anything essentially gone` in Filipino is said as: `Na wala.` or `Na kada wala.`

At around 12:09am (PDT), I came across the following Yahoo! News:

Money transfer ‘hawala’ trouble anti-terror probes
By DAVID B. CARUSO, Associated Press Writer David B. Caruso, Associated Press Writer – 33 mins ago

NEW YORK – Long before there was MoneyGram and Western Union, people in South Asian countries often used an informal network of brokers, called an “hawala,” to transfer money over long distances when it was too inconvenient or dangerous to send cash by courier.

    The networks operate like this:

A person who wishes to send cash abroad visits a broker, who takes the money plus a fee of around 5 percent. The broker then contacts a counterpart in the country where the money is going and relays instructions on how much is being sent and to whom. Within a day or two, the recipient gets a cash delivery, typically in local currency.

Usually, the two brokers don’t need to actually exchange any money. Instead, they essentially work off of IOUs.

For a U.S. immigrant of modest means, the system has great advantages. You don’t need to have a bank account.

Plus, the whole system is built on trust.

[…], U.S. authorities have had a difficult time shutting the networks down.

This article is true: I know. For a long time, VISA fraud and illegal aliens are problem areas. And my hunch has been correct all along! The tentacles definitely include Muslim via Jewish pals. Some are of African descent and/or Middle Eastern kines and will have trickled into America along the southern areas and/in around Florida, too.

Notice, too, the double-digit of three’s in `33 minutes ago` for this particular article. That’s another personal message to moi. In word association, I noticed how the Filipino part of the word `wala` appears similar to the word `hawala`. Freaky, indeed!

At 10:44am (per the car’s clock), I saw a red, mini-cooper pull into the gasoline station, which is selling gas for $3.33 (Octane rating 91). The CA license plate number of that car read 711.

My current `Blog stats` reads as: 46,711 total views.

Notice the double digits for the numbers one, three and four.

  • 20100511-Noticing Numbers

Let’s see: There were not many noticeable numbers from today worth mentioning. Except, right now I’m visiting the Contact page of `Josh` and the stats on the bottom of that page read: 111. That’s a triple number of one’s!

  • 20100511-Registration Goofs

Maybe there is a glitch in the system. Maybe certain thugs did something behind the scenes. For whatever reason, our political affiliations were mysteriously ALTERED!

Yesterday, two people received their voting materials for the PRIMARY ELECTION JUNE 8, 2010:

    • SAMPLE BALLOT & Voter Information Pamphlet for Democratic Party (DEM 036).
    • OFFICIAL ELECTION – BALLOTING MATERIAL.
    • Both changed their registration to Nonpartisan (N-P) last year!

    Today, however, I only received:

    • SAMPLE BALLOT & Voter Information Pamphlet for NON-PARTISAN (N-P 036).
    • I changed my registration to Republican Party (REP) last year!

This is the address where we made our changes in PERSON:

    Registrar of Voters
    1555 Berger Drive, Bldg. 2
    San Jose, CA 95112
    (408) 299-VOTE [8683] or
    Toll Free (866) 430-VOTE [8683]

    WTF is going on?

  • 20100511-Happy Heart

    Happy Heart
Artist: Andy Williams (peak Billboard position # 22 in 1969)
Music by Hans Last and Words by Jackie Rae

There’s a certain sound always follows me around
When you’re close to me you will hear it
It’s the sound that lovers hear when they discover
There could be no other for their love

    CHORUS
It’s my happy heart you hear
    Singing loud and singing clear
And it’s all because you’re near me, my love
    Take my happy heart away
Let me love you night and day
In your arms I wanna stay, oh my love

Feeling more and more like I’ve never felt before
You have changed my life so completely
Music fills my soul now, I’ve lost all control now
I’m not half, I’m whole now with your love

    CHORUS

    Repeat CHORUS with “La-la’s”

Repeat CHORUS with “La-la’s” and FADE

I recall being happy – so happy that every time I played the old vinyl 33 record, I would reach up with my right hand and pull open the blinds to the window of our apartment dwelling in a naval housing community. Of course, the sun was shining then and it continues to shine now. And because I’m feeling happy I’m sharing the lyrics to that of my favorite childhood song – Happy Heart.

  • 20100510-Noticing Numbers

At around 1:13pm, Maw was being weighed by the nurse. Maw took off her shoes, climbed on the mini electronic scales and her weight read as follows: 166.6 (pounds). Notice the triple-digits of sixes. That looks Satanic, right? WTF?

  • 20100510-Cloudy Day

Well, at 4:33pm, I awoke from another quick catnap. This time I saw lots of fluffy, puffy clouds of white! There is some patchy blue skies. The sunshine came and went. The air is still freezing.

  • 20100510-Noticing Numbers

This morning Maw’s blood sugar level read: 122. Notice the double digits of two’s. A double digit appeared in a CA license plate ending in 544. But nothing else to blog about except sleepness nights and stress due to TPTB.

  • 20100509-Trying Theme

I couldn’t help it! I went back to the `Pool` theme here at WordPress.com. Why? I’m never satisfied or nuts, really, about perfection!

    PROs:

    • Blue color schemes just like the halo that someone special happens to wear on occasion. I’ve read it gets him in trouble. Hehehe!
    • Custom header. This time is a Microsoft image of yellow flowers, or daffodils.
    Yellow Daffodils
    Yellow Daffodils
    • Top navigation bar. It accommodates my ten precious, yet hardly read, pages and the default `blog` tab (or front/home page).
    • All meta data shown right underneath the post title. Perfect!

    CONs:

    • One sidebar. I hate sidebars! I want bottom bars (or footers), too!
    • One-column, no sidebar view for both `pages` and `posts`.
    • The `recent comments` do not have time stamps! I want time stamps! Waaahhh!

As a result, I had to edit my paid CSS upgrade. When will the madness end? Never!

  • 20100509-Noticing Numbers

Notice the following double-digits of one’s, three’s and sixes from this morning alone:

    • At 8:33am, Maw`s blood sugar level read 111!
    • At 11:17am, the subtotal for our grocery run came out to be $3.32 with a change of $6.68!
  • 20100508-Noticing Numbers

Well, it’s past 1:00am (Pacific Daylight Savings Time) and what do I see? More double digits. This time my blog stats reads as follows: 46,433 total views. Do you see thirty-three? I do. Wow. What’s going on? Waaahhh!
