Hmmm: I have so many ideas. First, books are good. Find out if she’s into romance novels and help build up her collection. Or how about creating jewelry out of your own hands and give that to her as a token of your affection or reading your poetry out loud to her in public.

I don’t know about break-ups because most of my ‘affairs’ faded away in time (much like high school buddies losing track of each other) and without the emotional baggage attached to my sensitive psyche. I prefer the visual communication compared to the audio one. This is because ‘seeing-is-believing’. And for those who would deny anything was ever said (verbally), there is this written proof via emailing, texting or chatting. So yeah, I’d text the ‘loser’ a break-up message. It’s quick and easy, really.

So does that mean the Almighty One has a sense of humor and is making a dry reference to the ‘Ends of Time’? Yup, I think whatever we all do we got to remember to lighten up and laugh off any difficulties or obstacles that we may encounter in this lifetime. There is no need to take sh*+ anymore, I believe.

Here is the thing — IMO only: I can see that your cat is important and that you already live with your Daughter. BUT your Son was asleep in your dream. So based on this piece of data, you are better off not moving to Melbourne. What is most vital in this decision-making process is what YOUwant. I believe your last paragraph is an answer to your issue at hand. (Wow! I’ve not done this sort of interpretive discussion in this manner. This would be my first and hope it helps.)

My interpretation of your dream could be that Ruby the cat needs to sharpen her claws on a new scratching post instead of your hands (like the little girl with the sharp razor) because Ruby is ‘pissed’ (like your toilet scene — get it?). I suppose the other people are there to help you — ex Mother-in-law, the by-standers and the police. I would try to figure out what immediate past events may have occurred prior to your dream. I am curious, however, about that unopened letter. That could be an important clue to this dream.

Ghosts (or that which is invisible) can hurt physically. I’ve not gotten hurt by this ‘unseen force’ but the ‘poltergeist’ activity one night sure scared the heck out of me. The strikes upon the edge of my bed were twice in the same night. I know it’s not the springs of the mattress because I was wide awake when this incident occurred. If ‘it’ wanted to harm me, I’m sure that this was just a warning. I still sleep in that bedroom, too. So far nothing scary happened afterwards.

Small miracles (like sounds of birds chirping, sights of sun rising, scents of roses blooming, etc.) are part of my reality but not as sensational as reported to the general public. By these examples, ‘God’ exists 100%. ‘God’ would be that which is indescribable by mere words; that which the faith in nothing and the belief in something exists above and beyond our general five senses and current understanding of the universe as a whole.

Yeah: welcome all newbies! I too am new at ATS since Monday, 11-Dec-2007. And yes I’ll admit this forum is quite addictive with all its various topics to read and post replies. So far I’ve posted eight entries and this particular entry will be the ninth. This is not bad for one Sunday, 16-Dec-2007.

I’ve known ATS for over a couple of years and this is one of many places I post my thoughts with two other forums of interest. A blogsite of mine is especially my favorite place to rant and rave whenever I please without all these restrictions of terms, rules and guidelines found on ATS.

Can’t stop posting! Must take a break: stand up, step away from the computer and walk around a bit! Aaahhh!

For the sake of illustration purposes:

If I meet, say, an apple (God) and it’s not from my faith of orange worshipers, there would be no comparison. I would try and learn what makes the difference between the almighty apple and the orange worshippers. I’m sure eating and enjoying both types of fruit wouldn’t hurt at all.

Each person should be the judge (not God) as to which of the different ‘religions’, like various selections of fruits at our markets, ‘taste’ better. Can you imagine eating the same kind of fruit everyday? I think not.

Noone should fear or take any particular preference to treat one type of fruit as being better or wrong over the other. This is simply not realistic. It’s like being forced to eat something that wouldn’t sit well with the stomach.

So if I really meet God, all I could do is admit, there is not a single fruit that I never did like to eat. I happen to like banana anytime.
