Day 06: Something that excites you and fills you with joy.

Blogging excites me. Why? It’s because I could write whatever I want (with discretion, of course). My blog reflects my random thoughts about how I’m feeling and what I’ve observed throughout the day and nights, too. Blogging upstairs in my computer room and all alone fills my endless hours with joy, assuming that my blog stats increase at least by one view per day.

Not a day goes by when my small mind thinks of something to post into my blog. But most of the times, recently, I’ve been forgetting those details and usually neglect to write those thoughts down for later on. I may wish to buy a voice recorder so I could “jot down” my ideas verbally and hopefully, when I’m not too bored or busy, entered those as a post for my readers, if any.

  • Day 05: Something in life that gives you balance.

Day 05: Something in life that gives you balance.

    “When I’m awake I’m a good boy!”

    ~One of Paw’s many jokes…

And that’s how life should be a balance of the good and the not so good. During the daytime, keep it real! Learn how to appreciate nature. And stop using your cellphones and computers and turn off your your televisions. You are better off exercising by walking around the block and meeting people IN PERSON than sitting down the whole day and making friends online.

When asleep, count your blessings that you’ll awaken again to something different. And know that although you’ve been good, chances are there is always some inner demon to contend with on a daily basis. And that’s hopefully a temporary humorous illusion or spontaneous insane episode — both of which can be dealt with my “sleeping it off”.

  • Day 04: Something that is part of your routine that you enjoy.

Day 04: Something that is part of your routine that you enjoy.

OMG! What can I say? I love blogging everyday! Besides checking my three empty emails from two popular email providers located in the Bay Area and reading the daily nonsense of my relatives posting their personal activities via Facebook.com, I keep to myself upstairs in the computer room (or my brother’s former bedroom) and report back my observations about my “reality” via WordPress.com. I swear that I’d go insane without the computer and the internet.

Thanks to the “red-haired” Flynns (with or without beards) of the Bay Area, we wouldn’t be able to share our sorry lives with the world! Bah!

  • Day 03: Something with which you struggle.

Day 03: Something with which you struggle.

Each day, I struggle with sanity in an illusion called “reality”. After being exposed to the unhelpful authorities (trust me on this one), corrupted government (believe me on this too), friendly “aliens”, poisonous “chemtrails”, real “wormholes”, ungrateful relatives, not compassion from family members, starving and homeless folks and all the worldwide ills yet unresolved, I want answers!

I see with my eyes. But I’m still blind. I read online articles, which don’t make sense. I watch televised programming, which renders me speechless. I witness death, which numbs my pains.

I hear with my eyes. But I’m still deaf. I find myself reading the lips of people and actually have a hard time filtering background noises (including my inner dialogues of endless chatter). After being I’ve been diagnosed with a lost of hearing in the higher frequency, I’m missing out on the crispy clear sounds of baby parakeets chirping, the whistling sounds of the kettle boiling or the pitter, patter of raindrops falling.

I speak with my mouth. But I’m still mute. No matter how hard I try to share my personal experiences, no one would believe me. Like Paw, monologue is comfortable to moi. We expect our listeners to fill in the blanks and read our minds. We have a difficult time expressing our thoughts coherently and this is due to insecurity and lack of communication. The constant criticism from more formidable debaters shuts down our creative flow of thoughts, too.

I eat well and have a healthy appetite. But I’m getting sick. Recently, I got worried that I could be pre-diabetic. It’s expected because of my predisposition genetically and the fact I love eating good food. Overall, I’m getting clogged with high cholesterol and triglycerides — both of which, too, I’ve inherited. But that’s okay because I’m still alive.

I look in the mirror and I want out! Honestly, I want a different body. But this is the best I’ve got or so I’ve chosen this form for the meantime. No amount of beauty products or plastic surgery could validate how I feel on the inside. I swear I could just wear a burqua to hide my ugliness and be happy.

Overall, I still struggle with my sense of self — learning how to behave despite my will to break free and to cooperate with “reality” the best I could by being “friendly” and honest. In spite of my current setbacks, there’s still hope, I guess. I keep praying for guidance, too.

  • Day 02: Something you regret not having done last year.

Day 02: Something you regret not having done last year.

I regret not having done more for my family last year. It seems that no matter how many doors of opportunity are open, I have personally failed to take advantage of the many blessings that come my way. And as a result many more doors are closing.

I don’t know if I’m too stupid to pursue more avenues of a different path or too lazy to care how to jump up or kick start my creative juices, which are still stuck inside my mind. I know there are PLENTY of resources to aide in making my dreams come true.

As I look at back at the year 2010, I wonder to myself: WTF happened? Did I let myself go? Did I let my hopes fly away? Did I let sense of humor take on a more sinister twist of fate to become more cynical at the faces of death or more sarcastic at the lives of many?

I swear that I’ll never truly know. I regret being clueless, basically.

Day 01: Something you’re looking forward to this year.

As the evil Captain Kirk of the USS Enterprise (StarTrek) once said:

    “I want to live!”

Although not necessarily to the fullest but definitely something worth remembering behind the scenes, I’m looking to start a new life with propriety (you know what I’m talking about Pete) primarily. And in return I hope to bring new beginnings into the world with those whom matter most to moi — my family, including my parakeets.
