A tenth poem to JB of Florida…
Who was the man that made her cry?
Her time has come to go away.
One angel of His has to fly.
Her heart felt this was all a play.
Her true love led her heart astray.
She asked her lonely self: ‘What now?’
She stayed indoors and pined all day.
Her answer was a silent vow.
The angels in heaven asked: ‘Why?’
His gaze met theirs with silent dismay.
She left without saying goodbye.
Her hope was gone like her bouquet.
The price of love was His to pay.
He asked forlornly: ‘Where is she?’
He searched for his true love all day.
His answer was on bended knee.
First attempt at huitan (huit et huit) (with two examples)…
Compliments my poem entitled: 20060709-Dried Flowers…
