  • 20100305-Old History

Maw and I like to watch television. Most of it are the annoyance of talking heads from FoxNews, CNN, etc. But sometimes we watch history and science or sometimes educational material, like astrophysics.

One day we learned that Joan Baez was an guitar-playing, singing activist, a non-violent one who had walked with Marting Luther King, Jr. and school children in Mississippi.

Her features appear Native American Indian, just like my former, micro-managing boss, Corrinne. But Joan is really part Mexican and Scottish.

Anyway, I was actually amazed at how heartless some white folks could be: – For one white station wagon barely missed running over Joan and the children as they passed by in front of their house along the street.

History repeats itself. People will never learn. When will the hardened souls change?

  • 20100224-More Spooks

While the three of us were enjoying the nice weather on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Paw pulled more ground covers of tall yellow flowers and low-lying purple ones from the backyard; Maw and I worked on transplanting three hibiscus shrubs, removing old soil and its congested root system.

To the SJPD: I want Juan M@rr0qu!n out of our neighborhood!

Here is a scanned image of the orange-colored card given to us – 200-454A Rev. 08/09 – CHIEF OF POLICE dated 02/16/2009 on the other side:

    Orange Card
    Orange Card

He was working on the patio at the same time. He kept climbing up the ladder and feigned using a nail gun to reinforce the ugly roof on the bare boned patio. There is no drywall facing our side of the fence, only the skeleton of wood frame.

My thoughts picked up that he wanted to show intimidation to us and that he is capable of doing harm to neighbors.

I too was prepared to show that nutty FOREIGNER from Honduras that my bloodline came from a town that uses MACHETES! So I got old Betsy and brandished the rusty one with a couple of deep nicks into the blade.

I set the tip of the blade against the side of our house with my back turned to him and I began scratching the metal against the stucco, making raking sounds of teeth grinding effects.

Maw and I proceeded to LOUDLY converse to ourselves of our displeasure of living next door to a couple of psychologically unstable and hostile people, who are capable of fighting with elders and angels alike.

While she was pruning the poor palm tree with her hand-held sheers, I proceeded to CHOP up the branches into pieces with the MACHETE. I made the motion high above my head and brought down the blade hard upon the hapless remains of the palm leaves. It was meant for recycling.

I continued hacking away while Juan pretended to do repairs on the UGLY and unfinished patio. There is no way that house would sell if the backyard is filthy with the house extension and patio left like that.

The purpose was to show that I have a DULL knife. He had a nail gun, a potential weapon. He could have had intention of shooting by action alone – a threat, a challenge.

In recent news, restraining orders don’t work. People have died without protection from law enforcement. The system fails the family of the deceased and us, who lived in this neighborhood for over thirty years! WTF? Are you waiting for us to die before locking up these NUTTY FOREIGNERS?

  • 20100305-Won’t Pass

Obama’s health care reform insurance bill won’t work. While the three of us were waiting in the doctor’s office and watching CNN on the wide-screen television, we made all sorts of moderately-loud comments.

One comment happened to be a truthful fact that although Obama may be encouraged to sign the `right to health` into law, it won’t pass. Because if America is bankrupt and there is simply no money to spend, don’t expect miracles from the CBO (Congressional Budget Office).

  • 20100305-More Spooks

At around 07:35am, we were leaving our garage to attend morning mass. To our left we just saw the couple next door, still in their pajamas of long sleeves and pants, wheeling in both the gray-colored recycling bin and green-colored garbage bin.

I noticed that the hair of the nutty woman was ratty, fluffed up and out of control; while the lighter-haired, second husband followed close behind her. I will continue to make blogging entries to the effects of the twosome.

To the lovely couple sent from hell – Juan M@rroqu!n (Honduran) and L0L!nd@ G@l! (Filipina), I dedicate this YouTube.com video to you friggin’ nutty, freaks:

    The 5, 6, 7, 8’s – “Woo Hoo” by popsongromance on May 15, 2006

You two are coo-coo, nutters and pests on society! You’re wasting tax payers’ money just to process your sickness. Leave now! Get out of our neighborhood! Or I’ll haunt you like a ghost if you harm my family or me again. [scary ghost sound here: ~O000! O000!~]

  • 20091213-More Spooks

On Sunday, December 13, 2009, we visited Lola at the nursing home and celebrated her 92nd birthday. All her children were there except for Uncle Henpeck.

To cousin Marianne: I hate your dad, my Uncle Dead! I tried to greet him at the front door with my right hand. But he grabbed it hard, pulled my right hand over his head and over his right shoulder. He wouldn’t let go! WTF is wrong with him? I wanted to punch his disgusting face!

To cousin Shill: You are still a bitch. You better teach your cousin and her husbnad to avoid that demon-seed. He is driving, not only a golf club but your auntie Bella crazy, too. You know it. I know it. You dad has done the same to your mom, Ching and is doing the same to his second wife, who saved auntie Norms house!

  • 20100212-Word Association

Here is yet another word association in recent news regarding:

PAYGO (pay-as-you-go) is the practice of financing expenditures with funds that are currently available rather than borrowed.

On February 12, 2010, Obama signed House Joint Resolution 45, which contained a provision reinstating statutory PAYGO rules[22].

Obama signs debt limit increase, ‘pay-go’ rules
    Feb. 12, 2010, 3:52 p.m. EST
    By Robert Schroeder

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — The federal government’s debt limit will rise to $14.3 trillion from $12.4 trillion under a law enacted Friday by President Barack Obama. The law also puts in place “pay-as-you-go” rules requiring that increases in spending be offset with cuts in federal outlays. The House sent the bill to Obama earlier this month, following Senate approval in late January.

Of course, since I tend to repeat words twice in row, `paygo` sounds like:

    Pago Pago

Pago Pago (pronounced /ˈpɑːŋɡoʊˈpɑːŋɡoʊ/ in English, but [ˈpaŋo ˈpaŋo] by native Samoan speakers, or Pango Pango[2], is the capital of American Samoa. Its 2000 population was 11,500. The city is served by Pago Pago International Airport. Tourism, entertainment, food, and tuna canning are the primary industries here. From 1878 to 1951, this was a coaling and repair station for the U.S. Navy.

The mysterious appearance of this word `PAYGO` could not have come at a time but one day after calling for help. It involves borrowing, which is a debt. And continued borrowing means spending more than revenue. It’s like digging a hole which could never be filled until some divine providence happens to materialize said source of more dirt to cover up piles of dung.

  • 20100303-Noticing Numbers

During this morning’s difficult in parking due to entering in the opposite direction of the road, I noticed double digits of two (or twenty-two) of CA license plate numbers: 822, 222 and 922.

Later on and en route from the blood work and to attend this morning’s mass, I mentioned to Paw (and Maw) that we were following a vehicle with the last three digits of 666 of the license plate number.

After this morning’s mass and en route to Savemart, I counted the little red bulbs to the back lights of a light-blue colored Honda Accord. There were 15 bulbs for either side and center section of the break lights. Take the number 15 and add 1 plus 5 equals six. Obviously, Honda is Satanic by the sneaky placement of back lights forming `666`.

Addendum-Last edited by flynnsblogs on Thu, 04 Mar 2010 at 15:22:17 pm: After buying only chayote squash for $0.59 per unit at Savemart, we went to Seafood City. We found bananas were $0.59 per pound. Savemart bananas were $0.79 and tasted much BETTER because it is a `Del Monte` brand.

Anyway, we saw a couple selling smoked fish from the back trunk of their car at the parking lot of Seafood City. The `tinapa` of five fish were sold for $6.00 but we got a discount of $5.50. Then Maw added `pompano` of four fish. These were sold for $1.50 per unit. The total amount was $33.00. Maw added another `tinapa` for $5.50. So that totaled $38.50 for those transaction.

The lady went on about working in the stock room inventory and hurt her back. She claims to have surgery. I don’t believe anyone anymore. Then I asked where the fish came from. She told me they are from here, which I’m assuming is America.

  • 20100303-Beautiful Day

Today is beautiful! The sun is shining! The skies are light blue with some fluffy, puffy clouds of white and sylphs, too! The air is balmy and pleasant. The wind is cool and crisp. And I took my LONG nap to make up for sleeping late last night and awoke around 15:00pm. The feeling is refreshing while laying underneath the warm rays of the sun which filters through the upstairs windows.

  • 20100304-Tweaking Again

Yippiee! The `Journalist theme by Lucian E. Marin` is working for me! It’s supposed to be the same theme used by the Matt meister for blogging here at WordPress.com.

From an analogic color scheme, I’ve changed their old symbolic `purple` color into my new background color `dark blue`! The color is the same for both elements: `container` and `#sidebar`.

The colors are based on the `Dusk` theme by becarry. Now my blog looks `dark` but hopefully not EVIL red, which is still the hover color for some links, such as the titles to the posts and the `title` – Flynn’s Blogs.

The `title` has been increased to 40px and centered.

    PROs:

    • The `tagline` appears on the top of the sidebar, which aligns to the top of the `content`.
    • The`style type` lines up nicely for listed, unlisted and ordered elements.
    • `Archives` includes months, categories and tags, all on one page!
    • `Links` lists the blogroll links in the alphabetically order of the `categories`!

    CONs:

    • I still have to use my paid CSS upgrade to retain the appearance of my new theme here at WordPress.com. So this means I’ll be renewing my subscription this coming June or July.

I’m such an addicted web-designer extraordinaire. Nyah!

  • 20100303-Rainy Day

Today the storm has been stronger during the morning and partly into the mid-afternoon. At 12:36pm, we experienced an earthquake. We felt one sudden jolt. The house made a slight cracking from the soft sway.

Then at 15:34pm, the rain was VERY STRONG! It poured hard enough for the droplets to make multiple sounds upon the roof. This was after Maw inquired when she will know if I would be `okay`. I hinted that high-level thugs were involved.

At 15:46pm, through the opened window speckled with raindrops and while I began to do Maw’s pedicure at her summoning, I saw a quick flash of lightening. Then I ran to my computer room to make a note of the time and heard the thunder crackling in the distance.

I yelled to Maw who was waiting in the other room:

    `It’s the thunder god, Thor!`

After the pedicure, I continued scanning my documentations for later on…

At 16:16:22p.m. and as per my atomic clock, I saw a EYEBALL-shaped formation by the sun in the middle surrounding by the gray clouds! The effects looked surreal. The sunshine came out a few more hours until sunset even though the rain clouds were all around.

The night skies are now dotted with star lights. This means the skies are clear. Amazing!

  • 20100303-Scanning Life

For the past few days, I’ve been scanning, backing-up and uploading my old STATEMENTS for later on…

I look back at my accomplishments and found that I didn’t know what I was doing and didn’t know what I want or where I was going. All I needed was a purpose.

And after watching the last half hour or so ever of `The Matrix Revolution` during the same time the Vancouver 2010 Olympics was being broadcast that night, I learned:

`All things must come to an end`.

Fast forward 42 years later, I’ve lived, laughed and cried by myself and with loved ones. There were many blessings at every corner – a smiling face, more food that my stomach could hold, a well-paying job and other friendly people.

Yet, I felt empty. Work was tedious, repetitive and my eyes were becoming wide open. My mind was racy. My thoughts were endless. I knew something was changing not only in me but in my environment.

People started showing their true colors. Relatives and friends are no longer sincere and nice. Co-workers were snappy and brown nosing. The temps were not committed and were deliberately slow. And lastly, the micro-manager (Corinne) took her many vacations and made life hell for the temps after I left.

Then my world started to unravel as my failed business slowly fell through the cracks. I was all alone on a chosen path to poverty. I knew my prayers were indeed answered – to give it up for the truth about myself, the world and everything else that doesn’t make sense.

And there it stayed – nowhere and into thin air. The chances for recovery of the past are HOPELESS! Or so I’ve heard from a `squire`.

The continual denial of betrayal has been coupled with the utmost faith in a trusted friend, a long distance stranger still after ten slong years.

However, deep inside of me, there is the nagging sense of truth that life may be short but love is long and strong, no matter what happens or how wrong. (Words that rhyme in one sentence have been bold.)

Anyway, it’s too bad a gang of spooks had to teach me a valuable lesson. They too are interested in `spreading the wealth` but at the expense of hard-working, tax-paying drones. And in order to fulfill their missions(s), they had to find `outside help`, which failed, too.

You see, when you help a `fellow brother`, the price is high.

  • 20100302-Trying Theme

After editing my paid CSS upgrade, I’m trying yet another WordPress.com theme:

The Journalist v1.9 by Lucian E. Marin

Journalist is a smart, minimal theme designed for professional journalists.

I modeled the colors of the background after the `Dusk` theme by becarry.

    PROs:

    • Time stamp is part of the meta.
    • Tagline is nicely located over the sidebar.
    • Links for `older` and `newer` entries appear for both single view and archive mode.
    • The `Archives` link shows  `Complete archive of the blog’s posts!` Now I don’t have to bother with the `Archives` widget, along with `Calendar`, `Tags` and `Categories`.
    • The `Links` page shows `Complete list of the blog’s bookmarks!` Now I don’t have to bother with the `Links` widgets!

    CONS:

    • Eh, there is nothing bad about this theme so far. And why should it? The `Matt` meister uses it for his blog here at WordPress.com!
    • The `.tag` element is currently `floating right`. When the tags and/or categories get too long, the text doesn’t wrap over nicely. Yuch. Addendum-Last edited by flynnsblogs on Wed, 03 Mar 2010 at 00:10:48 am: Okay, I temporarily fixed the `.signature` and `.tag` elements by setting both to `float left`.
