  • OxySilver for Pimon

With the suggestion of Madam Mews, I just purchased a bottle of OxySilver (8oz) from an affliate for Pimon. He has been sick for years. We’ve tried anti-biotics (erythromycin) and vitamin/mineral liquid supplements from the pet stores. He still is strong for a parakeet who will be eight years old this coming September. But I needed something to `aid` his recovery – FAST!

Without going to the vet and as per my online research last night, he may have testicular cancer due to his brown cere. Plus, he has lamness on his left foot, an indicator of possible tumor of the kidney. He has been sleeping alot with his head tucked into his fluffy feathers.

As a result, the parakeets are going to be forced to eat PELLETS. Their diet of mostly seeds is notorious for `causing` illnesses in parakeets, such as cancer and tumors. I can hear them screaming in anger: “Where’s the real food?”

  • Passing Stick

I’ve placed Shrimpsei’s `wand` on the outside of Pimon’s `death cage`, which is currently located above the female bird’s cage. Hopefully, he passes quickly and easily, now that this orgone piece is next to him.

  • Pimon Dying

Well, Pimon is dying. I went downstairs a few minutes ago to check up on the laundry. I found Pimon on the bottom of his `death cage`, which was Bugsy purple-colored transport cage to our house.

It appears that is left leg hurts and stand with his right leg mostly. He would bring that leg up against his body and tuck his head to sleep for most of the day. He has been fluffed up ever since the two baby birds were born last year and this year.

Pray for him. Because Maw said that once the birds go down on the bottom of the cage, their time is up.

  • If I could tame a wild animal

Topic # 7 – Prompted January 25, 2009: Pick a wild animal to keep as a pet. Describe life with your new pet. Think about its impact on your lifestyle, relationships and rug.

    Urban Horse …

I don’t think I could keep a wild animal as a pet. I wouldn’t know where to begin. If I were to keep a pet from the wild, that would be something small and cute. I’ve had birds all my life and so maybe a wild bird would do.

Would keeping creatures of flight indoors be required during the day? Not in the least. I envision feeding the critter wild seed and refill the bird bath with water. It will continue as wild but only in my mind will I see it as a pet, which keeps coming back to eat and drink.

Perhaps, I’d like to tame a wild bronco. And then learn to ride a horse, one day.

  • Weird Stuff

Off hand, this is a brief list of weird stuff concerning the president

    • Sudden downpour of rain during Obama’s Memorial Day speech in Illinois instead of at the Arlington Cemetary.
    • General Pataerus replacement of General McChrystal, who shared his frustration with Obama and pals through an interview with Rolling Stones magazine.
    • A little brown mouse scurrying along the bottom of the pedastal.
    • A little black fly landing upon the upper left part of Obama’s lips.
  • 20091120-Only Once

While praying the usual evening rosary with my bio-units, I was creating in my mind again. I recall how a dedicated blogger mentioned sharing his books, only knowing all too well that it’s good reading and only once, never to be picked up again: So good that some readers remember the details well but some don’t apply the teachings in their lives or for others.

Anyway, I could imagine why he seemed to put down his books: – it’s because like any primate, such as humans, the species get easily bored to the point that once is enough and finding other distractions to keep their interest is necessary for sanity.

For example, a gorilla eats mostly fruits as so should humans, who were deceived into believing that obtain a source of protein from foodstuff via animals is `normal`. And after taking a few bites, chewing off the outer hull or husk or skin of the fruits, the gorilla leaves some uneaten, letting some of the fruit and its seed fall to the ground.

That’s how I compare humans reading a book to gorillas eating a fruit: some stuff is more easily digestible; otherwise the stuff is either fully eaten or not touched at all and metaphorically sometimes half-eaten.

  • 20091117-Nice Day

Today is beautiful (unlike fat people who stuff their faces with artery-clogging, processed food). Lots of sunny, clear blue skies. The air is actually warm enough that the parakeets and their cage got washed outdoors under the VERY bright sun. That was one-half hour ago.

Earlier, the youngest and most aggressive parakeet, Binky-Yu hogged the bird bath that was installed outside their cage. Winnie-Tot tried to take a bath but Binky kept poking her out. Bugsy bathed and poked Binky out. Simon and Pimon stepped in the water and didn’t wet their feathers much. Bully-Boy got his feet wet but was too distracted with Ye-Yo.

  • 20091113-Ate Pork

Slow die-t! Ate ‘bulaklak’ & tripe. Have eaten chicarones, snout, ears & feet, too! Guess not Muslim ideal. Want to be thin & healthy like Barry & pals. Wilbur, forgive me.

  • 20091110-Brown Birds

Sitting in car while waiting for 4some talking. Seeing brown birds 12 perching on tree in front of church, flies to eat from bush below. Scared back into hiding

  • 20091103-Weathery Ways

Today is sunny and warm! The sky is clear and blue, too! The breeze doesn’t seem to blow much. A hummingbird came by to drink some nectar from the drying red flowers of two hibiscus plants, one flowery plant and a couple of hanging geranium plants.

  • 20091102-Weathery Ways

Today is also sunny and warm! The sky was clear and blue, too! Like yesterday, the horizon appeared misty blue in the morning and orange, brown in the afternoon. The breeze didn’t seem like much. A hummingbird drank some nectar from the drying red flowers of two hibiscus plants.

  • 20091031-Geese Ahoy

A couple of days ago, I’ve been seeing geese flying in the skies. One group appeared in the morning. Another group formed a V-shaped above head and some pencil-sized droplets fell upon the windshield of the Benz. Paw cleaned up the mess. The sun was not even high enough.
