20250227-1010. While tweaking my KJV audio bible project, I’m recall our high school physics teacher by the name of Mr. Jay. He was about my height, wore glasses, had auburn (I do NOT know if this is the correct term) or reddish hair, mottled skin and a cheesy JooBee grin.

I recall how Mr. Jay seemed to be talking to/speaking with a tall whitish guy in the far back area of the physics class. Other students around me took notice of how Mr. Jay would be following the tall whitish skinny guy with slightly long ash or darkish or lightish hair (again I cannot really recall).

This was right before we went to what is called now Paramount’s Great America, which was where I had my VERY first summer job in retail, and where I did NOT read the worker’s manual of how to process credit cards and cash receipts; because I was too lazy and excited to read thoroughly how to do the job!

I barely recall the tall skinny whitish guy was ASSIGNED to our group and helped to fill-out our paper assignment on physics during the outing. I recall we were hovering/standing-over this whitish guy who was probably forced by Mr. Jay to help us out; because most of us don’t know what we’re doing in the first place.

This is how diversity forced whitish folks to uplift us minorities. This is NOT fair to the whitish folks and to that whitish guy, I bless you and your kinds wholeheartedly for help us pass the class! Later on Mr. Jay announced verbally the letter grade that each of received.

He gave automatically to me the letter grade of “A”. I was surprised. Another whitish guy got a letter grade of “A” and said out loud that “I didn’t to anything (or nothing)”. I recall the gasp and probably laughter from the other students upon hearing how the other guy got that high letter grade. I do NOT recall the gasp or other sounds from the other students when I received my letter grade.

To further prove my point, Mr. Jay claimed that his mother is/was the inventor of the Scott’s sticky tape or some some of tape or glue material/component thereof. I do NOT recall at all. All I recall is the word he pronounced as “Scott’s”. So if y’all could do some digging, he liked me when I turned 18 years of age.

This was my senior class and I did turn 18. I recall he sat behind me. I was wearing an off the shoulder bright blue long-sleeve sweater. The border of the shoulder was stitched by my mom and the stiches were done with her white Brother’s sewing machine, which did some fancy zigzags and other stitches. The sweater used to be my Mom’s but she cut it open to give it an off-the-shoulder appearance.

When Mr. Jay sat behind me, I barely recall him touching or tapping my off-the-shoulder, bright blue sweater and saying to other students along the line of “my sister wears that kind of cloth/sweater/top.

So that’s my fate. I get creeped-upon because I was NOT that butt-fugly looking and I did bag a few, just saying. I would have been married off by now but GOD had other plans to ruin my life with crooks/thieves (that my favorite alphabet soup agency knows about especially morons), retards, emotionally-challenged autistic guys with horse faces/rat teeffth and other uncontrollable potty mouth fools.

20250226-1147. Greetings, chumps! I’m chewing mandarin orange for late breakfast after taking dad to have his myocardial perfusion scan, shopping at our grocery warehouse and at our local grocery chain. Dad is still missing, err, busy upstairs.

Anyways, I received an email with the subject “Our natural gas safety equipment upgrades are complete” from PG&E Customer Service, took photos of our front yard showing uneven/unsafe asphalt paving, which will be part of a “Restoration of areas impacted by this work, which may include landscaping, driveways, and sidewalks” sometime in March 2025 and other orange, red, and white graffiti markings, which are water-based, and called/left a voicemail message with BW the Customer Outreach Specialist.

BW is VERY knowledgable! She shared how electrical and plumbing services, for example, share the same graffiti markings as follows: RED ELECTRICAL CABLES, ORANGE TELEVISION CABLE, WHITE IS SAFE BUT NOT HAVE TO BOTHER, BLUE WATER, GREEN STORM DRAINS, PURPLE IRRIGATION, PINK TEMPORARY MARKINGS via SURVEY/ORS. YELLOW GAS, OIL, STEAMS.

I kept saying perfect; because I still have faith in the beast system, err, humanity! Thanks, PGE.com!

P.S. Dad was busy washing his white underwear, came downstairs and spoke with me/read BW’s email, and went out back to hanger dry his white underwear underneath the sun! Now that is cost saving instead of using the electric dryer!

20250224-2302. Welp, I did it again! I made my Front (Cover) Page more compact and prettier, in my opinion. After inserting the Details blocks, I had to reduce/squish the Query Loop from 100 down to 10, which is a good number for SEO whatever.

This time I inserted the Details blocks for my Author/Gravatar profile image block and its Author Biography block above and for the following right Sidebar blocks/widgets: Page List, Latest Posts (100), Latest Comments (100), and Top Posts & Pages (10).

I also forgot to colorize my Navigation menus for Blogroll and Social Media by setting the Submenu & Overlay Text to Luminous vivid amber and the Submenu & Overlay Background to Vivid Red. Once again, both color combinations give that Happy Chinese New Year vibe.

20250224-2024. At this point, I kinda sorta give up trying to PERFECT my Front Cover Page and my Jetpack Boost Overall Mobile Score is now “77”. This time I plugged both my Author block (or Gravatar image profile) and Author Biography block above (like the Blogspot/Blogger Intro) and 100 latest posts below, which amazingly aligns almost perfectly to my super-long right sidebar of mostly WordPress Widgets!

2025024-1931. Hey! What happened to my Jetpack Boost Mobile Score? When I did NOT clutter my Front (Cover) Page, Cornerstone Page (Jetpack Boost Experimental), my Mobile score was higher at grade letter “A”. Now it’s grade letter “77” or “B”! I will NOT have less than A-plus. Then again, perfection is only meant for god-like mode!

Anyways, like I said, I switched back from theme OutNow to theme Blank Canvas; because the ability to edit my pages is tied-in to theme Blank Canvas. So I’m stuck using theme Blank Canvas.

I like/tried the Front Page template of theme OutNow on theme Blank Canvas and assumed using this “template” rated my Mobile Score at “77”.

So I cluttered my Front (Cover) Page again with a “Link to Bio” pattern, followed by a Query Loop block of ten latest post and by my WordPress Widgets. This extra clutter still did NOT improve my Jetpack Boost Mobile Score!

So if I just display the “Link to Bio” pattern, then that should improve my Jetpack Boost Mobile Score. Let me try that now: it’s 1937 PST.

Okay, great: it’s 1938 PST and my new Jetpack Boost Overall Mobile Score has improved to a grade letter “A” or “94”! Yay! But my Front (Cover) Page looks so, well, bland, nice and tidy.

I guess that’s it for me. I’m NOT doing any “Business” or promoting my blogs of mostly rants or foreseeing any continuance of this weblog site; because it’s just too boring at this point in time.

20250223-1810. Oh, hark! The system has been VERY angry at me for switch away from theme Blank Canvas. I was trying to and soon discovered that I could NOT edit my page from theme OutNow. And so I’m switched back to theme Blank Canvas, which has my sidebars. It’s a good thing that I saved the patterns from theme OutNow so I could test the viewability.

I’m coming to a stopping point of blogging again. I’ve finished all I could as far as web design, thought I-AM NOT fruity enough to come up with my own designs like REAL experts who were made to dedicate their time towards their craft/art.

So I’ll better hurry up and fix my FRONT-COVER or Front Page, which always becomes Draft after switching themes.

20250223-1301. Eh, I got bored with theme Nook because it’s too “normal” and now I’m trying theme OutNow again after tweaking the Global Settings Style > Color, which are black, white and color-blind-friendly blue and red.

Since I really worked hard on my Pages, I figured that this theme OutNow highlights my static pages, which nobody reads anyways and more so than simply publishing my dynamic posts, which nobody reads anyways also, except maybe John Jr, our most prolific commenter so/thus far!

Yeah, so that’s all for now. The current weather is overcast with nice gray and white clouds but NO smell of rain. The brightness of the sun has been “real” for the past few days’ because our backyard yellow ground covering oxalis flowers are still standing tall and strong and facing the “real” sun. On days when these oxalis flowers do NOT stand tall and strong and do NOT face the sun, that means the sun is “fake”.

20250222-2250. Greetings, chumps! The whole day and night has been blessed and mysteriously calm and quite. Thanks to Our Heavenly Father. Amen.

And just like that, I got bored with theme Blank Canvas. This time I’m trying theme Nook! Finalizing this latest theme was easy enough after spending the whole day tweaking my new Sidebar Content pattern, which is aligned vertically at 33.33% width and its mirror pattern called Widget Content, which is a clone/mirror of the Features page.

I was frustrated as usual and wanted to squeeze in as many OLD timey WordPress widgets. After a few minutes of meditating on the next course of action, I decided enough is enough and inserted the Page List block, which was in alphabetical order.

However, this alphabetically-sorted Page List block did NOT look good and I was forced to assign parents to some pages. Unfortunately, I had to go into one Navigation menu block to tweak each links to reflect the correct/new “pathway”! Fortunately, the Navigation menu blocks for all 66 KJV audio books were still intact after assigning parent pages.

I do NOT understand how after assigning parent pages to some are still intact while others are NOT intact, meaning if should I decide to reassign the location of parent pages, those would NOT “stick” and result as “page NOT found”. That’s annoying. In the past, I remember barely that we could move our pages around without having to worry about the “base” or original assigned location of the Navigation link.

Oh, I see. It’s 2259 PST and I received an incoming thought that perhaps, assigning what are duplicate test pages underneath the “Post pages”/Blog Home template or in this case the Index page as the Latest posts knocks out the children as NOT being found. I thought any pages would NOT knock out how the Navigation links point to the “page”.

Anyways, I also tweaked the FRONT-COVER twice, one with the Link in Bio pattern sporting five Filled (and NOT Outline) buttons and then later on just plugging in the Author block and followed by the Author biography pattern in place of the Link in Bio pattern on the very top just like the Intro to Blogger/Blogspot webpages.

I wanted to design my blog for the Mobile view (since I’m using more frequently with smartphone/mobile device than desktop or tablet) and a higher Jetpack Boost Mobile Score of “A”. But the design was, well, too plain and drab and too “san-serif” for my taste, which is the curly “serif” fonts!

So here we are with theme Nook and the normal black and white, two-column spread with the right sidebar column. I like it so far. But then I’ll know I’ll get bored with the look, because nothing seems to “stick” (again).

2025022-1025. Greetings, chumps! And happy Sabado/Saturday. The sun is shining and the temperature is cold.

I have finished tweaking my sidebar content, which could also be found in the Features page containing mostly WordPress widgets.

Per last night’s comment from our most prolific commenter John Jr, I took a “hint” that I should try the OLD way and display my sidebar content, instead of my preferred “static page” look containing only the meat-and-potatoes or Content.

So I queried LEO AI/Brave about the ideal Sidebar Contents and the results were normal to include: Recent (or latest) posts, Featured posts, Categories and Tags, search bar, and call-to-action (CTA), which I would gander is a “Hero” container with large Headers.

My current Sidebar Content contains the following: Search (which is normally placed into the Header where it is now), Follow and Subscribe (via WordPress Reader), Latest Posts, Latest Comments, Top Posts and Pages, Page List (which is in alphabetical order, meaning I did NOT assign any child/ren or grand-child/ren pages but used the OLD navigation Menu to click/drag ALL my pages into a hierarchy and then to create a new Navigation menu called: Page List and All Archives in my favorite order and just like the OLD ways: Archives, Calendar, Categories List, Tag Cloud and Blog Stats, which I will have to tweak to include both views and visits.

I tweaked all my templates to include my new which is really the OLD way of how I like my Sidebar Content to look like.

20250221-2243. For some reason, I felt that my pattern called “Starter Content Link in bio with profile, links and wide margins” seemed fine. But I think the avatar image located on the left panel seems too HUGE.

So I’m trying one of three “Link in Bio” pattern. I don’t know if my FRONT-COVER should be simple of cluttered with both this pattern and the Query Loop block. I might opt to just have y’all click on the READ MORE button just to annoy, frustrate and force the readers, well, to READ MORE.

This latest pattern sports the same avatar on top, followed by two headers – one for my pen-name and one for the Social Icons block, followed by the same text and READ MORE button from the previous pattern.

I hope my lower Mobile score from 88 will rise back up again after I remove the bottom clutter containing nine recent blog posts.

That’s all for now. I feel better after taking a much needed shower after re-mounting (twice) to turn-on our doorbell camera, which needed to be charged for more than five hours after it went offline from NO battery.

The mobile app notification said: “Camera NOT getting enough power: make sure the magnetic connector is secure, free from dirt or water and the adapter is compatible.”

Well, the power adapter is the same brand and meant for that device. The extension cord and electrical wall outlet has two sockets. So I do NOT know WTF is its problem.

You’d figured that this multi-billion dollar company would know better than to sell the public pieces of junk and then some more accessories to make the devices work better.

So I went back outdoor after forty minutes of trying to avoid the inevitable and readjusted and secured the device upon its holding plate. But still the mobile app notification said the same sad news.

Earlier I decided that if this power adapter doesn’t work, then I’ll buy a SECOND doorbell camera, which I’ll use as a backup and in the backyard while my elderly father does his walking and exercises underneath the blessed and glorious sunshine.

20250221-1732. Hah! And just like that: I’ve done it again and tweaked my weblog site to look pretty in pink! I’ve copied this “idea” from the new design of WordPress dot com News.

This time, I added back one of the available patterns made by designing EXPERTS called: “Starter Content Link in bio with profile, links and wide margins.”

This was originally a test pattern sporting yet another avatar that I designed on my premium upgrade at Canva dot com. The avatar is placed on the left column; while the text is on the right column.

That’s my top section. I couldn’t tell from my mobile device because the display is too small. From their most recent news article, I saw images showing the single top part and then three horizontal items, which I believe are the blog “posts”. Then I just visited their site moments ago and saw there are nine blog “posts” followed by “Show more button”.

Now for my bottom section, I stuck only the three most recent blog posts. I could have made it an even number of one dozen but that wouldn’t matter because nobody views and visits my blogs anyways. I might try nine posts since I set the columns at three.

I really should add more to highlight the “Content” of mostly blog posts; but I just don’t see the need since my the stats are pretty much glum. My stats are my own views and visits because I keep forgetting to test my site while still within my Dashboard instead of opening up a new webpage for viewing.

For both my Header and Footer, I added back my dark black background and cyan bluish gray text colors; because “that’s the way I like it”! The dark background color of the Details block acts like a “banner” and sets off the rest of the light white webpages or Content nicely.

Then I had to move the two Navigation menus for Projects and Testimonials from the Footer into the Header; because the drop-down/sub-menu features contained links to my precious pages that were too long.

By viewing the sub-menus, the otherwise dark black Footer expanded into an oblivion of light white background from outta nowhere!

So far I like my design until something else comes to mind.

20250221-1142. I just finished tweaking the Pagination block to perfection, in my opinion. The “default” already had “Previous Page” and “Next Page”, both of which are “grayed-out”, meaning the user could customize these two links!

There was NO style selection for either Arrow or Chevron and I typed double Chevron characters for both links. But when I “tested” the Pagination from my mobile device, the view was NOT perfect!

I expected all three elements Previous Page, Page Numbers and Next Page to line-up perfectly and stay in one Row without wrapping around to the next line!

So I tried combinations of removing the word “Page “and keeping the double Chevron characters, keeping and then removing the Chevron characters, removing the words but keeping the double Chevron characters (which worked nicely), and then settling from Previous to Back and then Older, and from Next to Newer. Voila!

Now my Pagination block is perfect. I feel the words “Older” and “Newer” are much clearer for blogs, because I do get confused as to what it means for Previous or Next.

Does Next page mean Newer reading material as in turning to the Next page of a romance novel, for example? Does Previous page mean the first page of a user manual where there is a Table of Content?

The answer is NO! This is because blogs are displayed in reverse chronological order, meaning the most recent or newest post entry could be displayed by clicking on the “Previous page”; while clicking the “Next page” displays the oldest entries!

Plus, I had to consider “readability’ features for those who do NOT understand what is an Arrow or Character symbol and for those with eyeball problems; whereas the words spelled out as Older and Newer is easily understood.
