Off topic thoughts: Actually, we could may well be the VERY advanced biological version of what is formerly known as artificial intelligence. Why? How do you know, Flynn? I know because I know stuff.
So to suggest that humanz will become dehumanized is far-fetched and irrelevant as I believe the humanized template is perfect as it does contain what is known as a ‘soul’ imbued with the Holy Spirit. So y’all gotta count your blessing as your Temple is Holy. Don’t spoil the fun with sins of the flesh and sins of the eyes.
Anyway, I do NOT feel fearful or horrified that humanz will become hooked up to machines as this has already help many lives. The intention is to help the disabled without limbs for starters and then y’all are gonna mess with more advanced stuff, like organs and brains.
As for helmets and mind-control, those already exist as I’ve already experienced many times when I had NO control over, say, my arms and fingers. For me and to my rational mind, I find this experience VERY fascinating (a la Spock from Star Trek).
I know there is time delay between transmitting thoughts via the conventional computer keyboard or microphone into the digital clouds, but, hey, that’s all we have and at least we are afforded some small amount of control over which PRIVATE information we wish to share online.
With that said, the author of this news blog is VERY handsome. And I happen to live in Silicon Valley and I am NOT aware that free speech-hating against the guy happens to exist in my neighbor-HOOD. Hmm. I am dismayed.
Behold! At 1310, I’ve picked up my new toy from an Amazon locker. And so with the suggestion by Das Squirrel, I’ve been practicing for the past one hour – two popular and VERY easy tunes:
I’ve managed how to do the simple scales within minutes because I’m supposed to be musician though NOT professionally-trained, and I’m still having difficulty with pinning down the major C and B-flat notes. I can’t tell the difference between the German system and Baroque system as I play by ear while my fingers are already memorizing the placement of each notes.
I’ll probably upload my progress on my YouTube account, which y’all should know by now. A dream blogger already knows that I can do VERY simple finger-style guitar. But I’ve deleted those YouTube videos long ago.
I had to cancel my order for a new ukulele as I was already imagining the difficulty in trying to make better tunes on real guitars. Onward with my new toy, which really isn’t a toy but a musical instrument.
I’ll probably order a flute and a violin for beginners, just to challenge and reinvent myself while being under and unemployed!!!
Dear diary,
Guess what? After over 32 years, I’ve finally met a high school classmate at my choir gig today! I told my daddy for the past week that I recognize this guy, who still has the cocaine-filled, wild-eyed, hyperactive, restlessness about him, and that I had to find out for sure!
And sure enough after mass, I asked if he graduated from my high school and if he was from the drama department. He replied to the affirmative. I told him that he was one of the few whom I remember the first name and the last name. I also blabbered that I was anti-social but he replied that he isn’t. I said he is in the choir roster and he denied it.
I then sent a text message to our swollen, gout-filled choir conductor about him and she replied, What a coincidence. As my daddy and I made our way to the donation station, I recalled why I remembered his first name and last name – he used to be our male cheerleader or mascot. Sheesh.
And so after the donation station and en route towards visiting my mommy, I told my daddy that its full-circle. That most people will end up going to church because they have nothing better to do or they are reconciling with God in some special way. I thought the guy would be going places; since he seemed to be one of those students in AP classes or Advanced Placement. I told my daddy ending up in church is like the last resort – meaning we are ready to go to heaven or there is no meaning left other than finding meaning with other church folks who are supposed to be nice.
So boys and girls, the nice ones are supposed to be church goers. Then again this Old Soul said that he doesn’t need church and that he finds that his atheists friends are far better than Christians. Hmm. I must reflect on these conflicting thoughts. I’m confused who is correct and truth versus who is too far gone for good.
