What’s a simple truth people often forget…
That we are alive on this hellish planet, our lives are “on loan” by “God” and our personal existences/life experiences add to the collective database…

20120205-My Weather

Lots of high altitude, mackarel-chaired, HAARP-like clouds against patches of white hazy blue skies, still winds, sunny day. Awoke late at 935 am.

Veggie and pompano fish soup…
At 12:31pm, here are my quick notes during the cooking/boiling of Maw’s “sinigang” soup recipe:
(12:08)
~Clean fish yourself or better yet have the butchers remove the fins and innards.
~Boil two small “gabi” (or oblong-shaped, taro roots, skinned and sliced vertically in half).
~Boil one “handful” of green beans (cut off the stems) with 1.5″ wedge of onion.
~Remove green beans and boil (small) Napa cabbage, sliced vertically in half.
~Add one tablespoon of “Sinigang” soup base mix (Mama Sita) and fish sauce (Rufina) to taste.
~Remove green beans, taro roots and Napa cabbage and set aside in bowl.
~Boil one Philippine eggplant, cut into 1″ discs.(12:31)
~Add ONE pompano fish, cut in half (one head section, one tail section).
~Add back the green beans, taro root and napa cabbage.
~Boil all ingredients, say another 20 to thirty minutes, until fish is cooked.Enjoy!

Impulsive behavior…
Yes. I’m an impulse buyer, spender, and investor when I had money. Now that I have no money, I’m paying the karmic price for being impulsive. How? I used to jump into bed and swim across shores, just to fulfill a temporary high of feeling great.
Now, I don’t feel so great after losing ALL my hard work but VERY guilty for wasting money on myself and on others. For example, I’ve bought edible dirt and magnetic clay. To this day, I still have some dirt left in the bottle and the box has long been destroyed and its contents still unused! I didn’t like the idea of clogging my pipes.
Speaking of pipes, my arteries are clogged! That’s right! With high triglyceride and high cholesterols, my brain is clogged and thusly my decision making process has been compromised. Like the boy, we think we are helping the economy and small business owners survive by buying their stuff.
So I bought parasitic, liver and kidney cleansing systems in the hopes of staving off an infestion, coupled with allergic reaction to the ingredients, before submitting myself unto the medical intervention of anti-biotics and booster shots. In my mind, I was desperate for a “quick fix” in all things.
Fast forward twelve slong years, and my “quick fix” turned out to be a “long drag” — a vitural world of “smoke and mirrors” of EBEs working through politics and business. And all this “experience” was from a sincere heart to “help” even strangers who are supposed to have the best of interest on and for behalf of moi.
So where does this all lead? Nowhere! It’s is the rule of the OLD system! If there’s a cure for everything, then justice will have been served for all.

Sports ship…
For most if my life I’ve been a spectator if sports. During my growing years back east, I recall watching Jerry West play basketball.
We’d watch during the rain and snow. I sometimes watch the sunset, a big orange ball, going down part our front windows to my right.
So you can say that our long, wooden Magnovox stereo system was facing “north”.
During my teenage years, I participated in P.E. (or physical education) during classes. It wasn’t my favorite class. I almost got on the “president’s list” but couldn’t complete the sit-ups in time. Running was the worse. Getting hit on the head by a big softball wasn’t fun.
During my young adult, I joined a health club. It was the 24-hour Nautilus. The place smelled. the people smelled. I worked on all the weight lifting equipment but never joined the aerobics.
As I got older, I enjoyed watching live baseball with the companies I worked for. I didn’t care for baseball as much as I cared for watching on television, my favorite football team, the Denver Broncos, because my ex-boyfriend of a spook has a second uncle who was a coach of the team.
Then I realized that doing sports was hard work and caused me some pain. I just didn’t like running after the tennis ball, the ping-pong ball, the badminton thingy or even a simple Frisbee. Walking SLOWLY was the only healthy option for me now because of my aching feet.
Further I felt certain sports are violent, if not deadly whereby guys hurt each other in football and gals suffer paralysis from falls in gymnastics. I get stressed out just watching the Olympic and the potential for injury by these athletes.
I didn’t like the competitive mentality of winner takes all; while all others are left in defeat without shiny trophies or as runner-up with silver or bronze medals. I wanted everyone to win in any time zone.
Yes, I do make fun of those who didn’t win or run funny. I admit my shortcomings in playing sports is projected as laughter toward those competitors who strive to do more than just physical health but to be the best among the rest.
Sportsmanship is supposed to mean taking the fall for another who cannot keep up or know how to play by the rules.
As per Rick’s speech in Greeley, Colorado, “don’t be “stewards” who “dropped the ball”. In other words, part nice and be there for each other as team players.

Two rice desserts…

Two desserts stacked atop the other to form a white-colored rice cliff, a brown sea of “tikoy”, and a coconut reef/sea foam.
