Well, Fred the widower was sitting near us at the sixth pew to the left rear. Creepy.

Ben wore a black cap with a patch showing an embroidered design of a “red dragon”. The head of the dragon was near the 10 o’clock position and was encircling its body in a counter-clockwise direction. The letters below this “reptilian” image read: LIZARDROCK. There was another patch on his “right” side: a square Marlboro.

Yesterday the truck hauling the Gehi was cited for parking violation on MY side street. The Compliance vehicle was doing his/her/its job well. Two guys were pissing off near my flower bed of purple. Thanks, San Jose!

Two days ago and at around 10:43am, three trucks were parked off the “north” side of MY railroad intersection: Losco Incorporated and RSI Drilling.

  • 20110831-Weathery Ways

This morning was FREEZING cold! The cashier at Costco was annoying as he mentioned this morning’s temperature.

Then the weather turned HOT, just like the past few days. The air downstairs was much COOLER than upstairs.

The COOL winds blew for the past few days. The skies are amazingly crispy, clear and blue, too.

After dinner, Maw watered her cactus and peppers growing on the side and out front. As she did this, I saw three birds fly overhead and a family of four (two adults pushing two strollers). The evening was cool as I watered the flowers and vegetables plants out front.

  • Two abundances of veggies…

Earlier today, the elderly couple has harvested their vegetable plants out front. Here are two photos showing a red basin of tomato and a counter-top of banana peppers. The SMALL eggplants of albino and purple are not shown.

  • Tables of Contentments

If there is anything I want,
    is to be remembered; not
by words, color or images but
    by how happiness and joy
    can be shared here at
    WordPress.com,
    now and forever…

Author’s note: Originally, I had copy and pasted the contents from my “Contents” page into this blog entry (or “post_id=94814”). So instead of confusing myself and others, I’ll just make a brief AMATEUR poetry.

  • 20110831-Trying Theme

Well, I’m trying yet another WordPress.com theme:

    Selecta by Obox Design

With a featured posts slider on the front page, a wide, one-column template on image and video posts, and archives displayed in gallery format, Selecta is well-suited for blogs which focus primarily on showcasing videos or images. It comes with six color schemes, support for video, image, aside, gallery, quote, chat, and audio post formats, custom header, custom background, and four widget areas — one in the left sidebar and three in the footer. It’s good for now.

  • Brown moth released…

I just released a big brown moth into the backyard. It was twilight. The critter had gone missing since I last saw it yesterday at around 11:00pm. When I flicked on the electrical switch, I heard a noisy thud a couple of times and a flying brown moth near the pole lamp. Of course, certain spiders will continue to be vacuumed as a precaution from being bitten.

Anyway, the moth was located in the dim of the bathroom. Maw had finished taking a shower and I saw it motionless above the bathroom window. So I had to devised a plan of its capture and release. But, first, I had to help Maw with moisturizing her lower extremities. She is always out of breath after each shower.

After that was done, I grabbed a folder chair, the glass cover to the ginger scented candle from my “friend/family” and a piece of paper, which serves as a make-shift “roof” for my signed books. Then I stood on the chair, cupped it with the glass cover and carefully slid the paper underneath the critter. The moth wasn’t responding but it moved a little and onto the paper. I saw that one of its foot got caught in between the glass and paper and I had to adjust the containment.

Then I went downstairs; opened the backdoor and “dumped” it atop the recycling bin. It didn’t move from it place. I left. Good night.
