  • 20101019-Weathery Ways

    The skies were crispy and clear. The winds blew cooler than in the past months. But it’s not freezing cold in the least. As a matter of fact, Theresa and I walked fast and sweated, thanks to the BEAUTIFUL sunshine.

    I imagined that I saw red dots or sometime coming out of its ray and of course thought of my favorite author and his boys. Again, not a day goes by without their images in my mind – all sunny. With that said, the sunset today was yellow and small with some mistiness in the horizon. Yesterday’s sunset was fiercely orange with some mistiness as well.

    Today, I felt no weepy sentiments of betrayal of the heart and truth but one of relief after listening to the voicemail message left by a famous friend yesterday around 6:30pm. Again, its and illusion brought mostly in part by TPTB. Yes, that famous person happens to be one of those people in the three-hour Google video, which I have yet to view.

  • Beautiful Day

    “It’s a beautiful day.”

    ~A brief comment by Mike after his lunch at my desk…

    Yup! Besides the beautiful weather – sunny and crispy, blue skies, Mike is quite breath-taking. Thank you, God for blessing me with a nice corner desk to look at people beautiful people, such as him! I’ve learned to flirt, smile, nod, squint, glare, and, yes, flick off (subtly) the people walking by my desk. I love them all! Then again, I want out! Damn you, Pete!

    Anyway, Theresa and I walked a good 45 minutes clockwise around the eBay area starting around 12:15pm. I usually walk with my wooden umbrella – a Rose Chapel design – as a shield against the hot sunlight. I don’t want a farmer’s tan! She talked as usual and got jealous that Carolyn inquired of how I was doing when the both of them talked about work-related issues. It’s because Carolyn doesn’t know much about me and she had to ask generic questions. I had to clarify that with Theresa. Poor dear!

    We then addressed how to handle mothers who think they know best and how she tests the characters of people and how she doesn’t like to walk with the people from her finance department. I guess she feels comfortable with me. Ah, me! She then talked about how she tested someone’s character. For example, she walked one way on the sidewalk and two women were walking the opposite direction. Both didn’t move off the side. Instead, Theresa was forced to go between them. Maybe, they just wanted to mow her down.

    Oh and Mike crossed our paths and waved with his usual friendly smile while talking on his cellphone.

    Then Theresa and I went our separate ways to “powder our noses”, which is a more sophisticated euphemism for hosing down our stink from sweating after our walk under the friggin’ hot sunshine!

    At 2:45pm, I noticed a familiar number. But it wasn’t 144,000. It was 14,400, which looks close enough! Here is a screen shot! Hahaha! Bored…

    On Saturday morning, I awoke at 8:11am. That’s a double-digit for the number eleven.

    A few minutes ago, I noticed the following numbers:

    • 511 (Comments, Approved).
    • 6,744 (Posts)
    • 44 (Pages)
    • 45 (Categories)
    • 492 (Tags).

    I see more elevens and forty-fours.

  • Unappreciated Crying

    Maw and Paw worked hard today to vacuum, mop and clean up the parakeets’ poop from the floor and sliding door. Maw pruned the dead branches and dried leaves from her potted plants and water the dried soil, too. She harvested fruits and thank the pomelo and persimmon trees.

    I tried to show appreciation by thanking them under my breath. I was too dazed from work and crying several times throughout the day and during my lunch walk. The sunshine was out and the skies were crispy and blue. One almost heart-shaped, sylph appeared around 1:15pm as I made my way back from a clockwise roundabout through the construction zone.

    Then Maw said in her soft voice and probably from being too damn tired:

    “I love what I do. Whatever I touch, I love doing.”

    Of course, I quipped back:

    “If I don’t like to do it, I don’t touch it.”

    She always has a way of triggering people and I always have a way of being nasty to her negativity EVERY FRIGGIN’ DAY from the beginning I was born. Perhaps, her “happy pills” were not ingested today. I don’t know. But she’s good at making comments to her favor and for whatever reason she fails to have any strength left to say the rosary. Sounds like someone is possessed: She keeps coughing when she tries to say the rosary and claims it is her asthma acting up. Yeah, right.

    Anyway, if she is not happy with her environment, there is always heaven. Its gates are always wide open for good-hearted people like her. She prays everyday and sincerely, you know. And that makes her a saint and holier than people like me, who is already fed up with her “insanity” and displeasure in life. I can’t help her in that area.

    “You have to respect your Maw and me.”

    I would love to Paw. But Maw is driving herself and everyone around her insane. Perhaps, I need one drink to ease my mind. That’s right. It’s all my fault. I made the elderly cry again. My bad!

    So a few minutes ago, the superior makes a surprise stop at our desk and he noticed that I was on the internet. He didn’t want me to get in trouble. Whatever! I’m trouble and in trouble enough as it is. So leave me alone! It’s boring here and I don’t care if I have to go online several times a day just to keep from going insane in this place! My god! What a bunch of losers! TPTB don’t care: I know this for a fact. WTF do you think I’m stuck here with the bill? All that love and light – it’s all delusional.

    It says BofA has the legal right to take back what is theirs based on pieces of paper. I too have documentations but that has not yet materialized. Gee, I wonder if the INTERNATIONAL BANKSTERS have anything to do with the ‘grand scheme of things”.

  • Talking Crank

    Each person is unique. For example, during my breaks, I’d like to walk. Keeping silent is a form of meditation, too, as I walk around appreciating nature and its beauty. I’m usually the silent, brooding type – always thinking and taking no action.

    But when I walk with Mike, the adrenaline high of having the rare opportunity of a handsome companion makes me all the more talkative. I cannot believe I have lots to say no matter how ridiculous or incoherent. The words seem to flow much better when I’m excited and this “mask” is shown without drinking alcohol.

    I have to apologize to my readers, mainly because my views are really conservative, calm, relaxed and traditional. I value my tradition – raising a family, getting married and working hard and honestly. While I don’t agree with many views of my religious organization, namely Catholic, which I’ve been borned into and raise into believing, I see it’s not really control but a means to foster strong foundation for the future generation.

    Sure change is good. But certain social issues can be a bit of a pickle because some people are not ready for drastic change. Again, each person has the free-will to be good, bad or ugly. Each person has the ability to make right instead of choosing the path of wrong, meaning not to harm others or self-inflicted hurt.

    While talk crank and nonsense about issues that are not popular around the children, it’s all in good fun and humor. That’s what I like about Mike – he can play with anyone, laugh about anything and just bring out the best in others. He’s a dog and a spook both rolled into one intelligent person. Other guys just got nothing to say. And that’s what makes for a boring time and useless blogging material.

  • 20101015-Bored Again

    So Hoan and I were keeping busy the best way possible. He is good with colors and offered to print a “distribution list” – highlighting his responsibilites from mine. Everything is current and we are just waiting for the chopping block to come down on our necks when our six-months temporary job assignment will have been completed. Hopefully, the head hunter(s) will have found us something better as far as pay rate and something that closely matches our skill sets. Although the current job position is data entry, our expertise is really in basic accounting. I told Mike during our return walk from lunch (last week or so) that Hoan and I were giggling between ourselves because we have accounting background and our temp assignment is too easy and mindless. But we don’t mind the LOWER pay rate as long as it puts food on our family’s table. The job description is VERY easy to handle.

  • 20101018-Weathery Ways

    The whole weekend was gray cloudy and rainy. I hope the rainfall is enough to water the plantlife and critters. Yesterday, I took two photos of soapy suds from our backyard. The drainage from the roof and/or patio must have been very polluted in order for the foam to appear at the base opening of a drainage, leading past the fence and into the sidewalk to the side of our house.

    Today, it’s cold but not freezing. It’s cloudy, too, but not raining yet. I cried again thinking about my demise with TPTB.
