  • 20090504-Deleted Slideshare

I deleted my slideshare.net account over the weekend and purchased a ‘Space Upgrade’ for uploading my PowerPoint (.ppt) fil. However, I DO NOT WANT people downloading this type of file.

Solution: To have team Automattic implement the lock-down option of preventing readers from downloading my slideshows automatically (and without my permission first, of course)!

  • 20090502-Hooded Sunglasses

Notice how similar the two images show a sketch of the `Unabomber` wearing thick sunglasses and a hooded jacket and my photo of Paw wearing goggles after his cataract surgery and his blue-colored USPS hooded jacket. Neat!!

I would think that perhaps Kacynski’s sunglasses are more like wrap around goggles and not those thick, bug-eyed sunshades one would see Michael Jackson wearing at one point in his life when he was of darker skin tone. That’s why I decided to take the photo out of humor’s sake.

Recently, I’ve been thinking over and over again on how Theodore Kaczynski could not have possibly been the `Unabomber`. I felt Ted was set up. There was something the gaze of Ted as he looked up at one of the cameras when he was being lead by authorities to justice elsewhere.

Then sometime this year, if I could find the news article, a woman talked about her father being the `Unibomber` and not Ted Kaczynski. As a child, she described how her father was pulled over by the cops. She said her father hide his gun in her back pocket and told her not to move while the officers questioned if he knew of any suspicious person that resembled the `Unabomber`.

  • 20090503-Daily Diary

Felt sleepy: napped @ AM and @ PM. Sunshine broke thru clouds around 1800. Saw black bumblebee @ 1500. Cut flowers for dinner table. Irritated, weepy, relaxed..

  • 20090502-Deleted Sites

In a futile attempt to remove myself from the public, I’ve deleted lots of accounts from the following non-commerce related sites:

    • box.net
    • delicious.com
    • slideshare.net
    • statcounter.com
    • vodpod.com
    • web.com
    • youtube.com

I’ve even set my Privacy Settings to ‘I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose via ‘Dashboard > Settings > Privacy’.

My goal was to stop sharing my private life. But then again, the temptation to make much noise appears to be a waste of my time. In other words, maintaining too many accounts is not worth the effort. Based on the stats, I figured noone cares. Thank you.

  • 20090503-Okay Day

Today was gloomy, cloudy without much rain. I’ve been weepy since yesterday after watching King Kong at night, too.

We ate breakfast, took pictures of the birthday celebrant waking up and dressing, attended 1045 mass, returned home to change clothes, ate at Applebee’s, enjoyed the Nachos Chili, bought burnt almond cake at Peter’s Bakery (off Alum Rock Ave.), shopped at 99 Ranch and bought eggplant and roast pork for $7.35 per pound, ate dinner, had the THIN cake of mostly cream in the middle and took more pictures.

Paw received call around 1030 prior to leaving for mass from boy, who left a few minutes ago. Hugs, tears and stories of politics and life were shared among the five of us. I’ve yet to observe the units behave.

    Happy 70th Birthday, DAD!

  • 20090502-Daily Diary

Today’s warm but gray cloudy and slight winds. Bough 4 orange-colored, 5-gallon containers at $2.78 each (was $4.98 each). Went to eat at Red Ribbons for $4.39 each meal: palabok (sticky yuch), teriyaki chicken and sotanghon. Stupid checker took too long to point and click at the order. Two stupid people cut in front of me. A long-haired brunette girl complained about hair in the food after consuming the chicken, except mass potato. Her right eye was missing and all white!

Walked around the Great Mall, Milpitas, CA. Maw and I got Quick Fix II massage for 15 minutes = $12.00. Bought Paw dark-purple, shirt and stripped purple tie from Van Heusen. Went home and cut Maw’s hair. Curled it.
