  • By plane…

My parents immigrated from the Philippines, not by foot or annoyed aboard a ship but by plane. So that makes my brother and my first generation Filipinos.

We went through the proper channels of citizenship, worked hard for the money, and paid taxes into a system that is suppose to take care of those who earned it!

Now don’t drag “undocumented workers” into the pool of “illegal ALIENS”, who come into this country, never worked, claim Social Security, go back to their country of origin, and come back to America EVERY six months to collect their benefits, which they are NOT entitled to receive!

Do you understand that ALL of us might as well not work? Let’s see if your “descendants” can lay claim on real property that no longer has boundaries. Let’s see if the government takes care of its own people BETTER than the rest of the world.

  • AT&T tech support…

At 4:42pm, the guy called my cellphone. He is supposed to be here with 10 to 15 minutes. At 5:22pm, he resolved the “bad modem”. My bad but “Very Satisfied”.

  • Custom fonts…

I love this custom design feature! The fonts worked so nicely that my weblog looks partially pretty. You see, I am using a cursive font. So if you can’t read it, too bad! Using the CSS stylesheet will conflict with the fonts feature. So for now, I’m using the fonts. I would like more control of the HTML markups, PHP codes and contents added to the “Custom Design” page.

  • Looking at lake…

“Jump in the lake!” I never did learn how to float on water well or swim without sinking. The closest I got to a lake was in Lake Cunningham in San Jose, CA.

My brother and I sat in a plastic paddle boat and used the strength in our legs to get far out into the middle of the lake.

Little did we know, a buoy marked off an area. The waters were rough and our yellow boat started to rock vigorously back and forth.

We slowly paddled away from the buoy and soon felt calmer waters. The area near the buoy was dark, deep and scary.

  • 20110615-Dream Journal

This morning I awoke to a dream. The next door neighbors had moved! I seemed to have communicated with the one-eyed, illegal ALIEN. I saw her white car gone. I saw his gray car gone. The lawns of the neighbors were well manicured to the same height and shape. No fence or landscape divided each yard as I could see past the sixth lawn to my right field of vision.

I barely recall going back indoors. It was dimmed. There appears to be a rotunda.

  • Big brother…

Without rules and regulations, policies and laws, “big brother” can’t do his job to budget how quality time is spent together and to make sure his fellow brother doesn’t spend on unnecessary “snake oil” from strangers, whose business platform revolves around maximizing profit and minimize cost but at the expense of gullible people.

  • Looking at snow…

I grew up in snow during my childhood. It was fun to play in snow but I always got sick.

    Living

in snowy clime was difficult for my family. We had to move to the boring west coast. People back east were friendlier and the lifstyle was more laid back.

  • Looking at cliff…

I don’t this I could live on a “sloppy foundation”. Old towns don’t appeal to me even if the view is seaward. Breezy winds can make me feel chilled and sick if I’m not bundles up well.

  • Custom design…

You can change the WordPress.com theme’s appearance, but not its HTML markups, PHP code, and content. I didn’t want to change the fonts or tweak the CSS. I wanted to drop and drag commonly used “elements” within a customized theme. Can you please create another platform to fulfill my wishlist? Must I be an unsatisfied blogger?

  • Three religion…

It appears that I belong to many families. While my soul recognizes the Muslim faith, I am supposed to be Christian, born and raised. But my philosophy in life is an “empty path”, like the Buddhism.

I’ve met those of Jewish faith. These Jews know each other by their “special gifts”, not necessarily by the “greys” in their hairs; although I have been privileged to see a “shape shift” to show his “tanned skin”.

These thoughts occurred while waiting for this morning’s mass to start.

  • Lifeless clay…

Yesterday during morning mass, my mind wandered again. I saw how God had several clay figures – some with pot bellies and some dark-skinned. I saw how he places some wheat-colored hair and placed it on the pale clay. He blew life into it. I saw how he placed some charcoal-colored hair on the dark clay. He blew  life into it. He did more clay figures the size of his hands.

  • Sofia dreaming …

So I read a material about a “Sofia” dreaming through streams of consciousness. During last Saturday’s mass, an Asian guy was sitting two pews in front of us. He was wearing a black shirt advertising a “VM radio”.

I saw six locations from top to bottom: Beijing, China; Bangladesh, India; Sofia, Budapest; Palo Alto, CA; Cambridge, MA.

So I was thinking perhaps this “Sofia” is from Europe.
