I awoke from five hours of sleep at around 2:30pm. This was after eating breakfast with Maw, whom I left downstairs to watch television. This morning was foggy and she had wanted to go shopping at the commissary store. I wasn’t feeling energetic and knew that I needed to replenish my batteries again. So off I went to sleep for the rest of the day.

Now the sunshine is out and bright against my right side of my face, just like it was after I had my hair done. The direction of the sunshine would be almost perpendicular to the left side of my bedroom window upstairs but at a higher angle.

Earlier this morning, Binky the parakeet was upstairs. She had flown there all by herself since Maw removed the lace material partially blocking the upper entrance of the stairwell. I had place my finger underneath the tummy of the parakeet and she stepped up but I was too slow to bring her downstairs and she flew off back into my computer bedroom. For the second time, she stepped up on my right index finger and I was able to steadily but hurriedly bring her partially downstairs, upon which she heard the parakeets and then flew off into the direction of their sounds.

Today was beautiful because I was thinking about wanting nice weather so I could walk around instead of freezing like yesterday, which had a mysterious storm appear almost exactly at noontime when I decided that I wanted to go home for lunch. But that was a sign to “stay put”, which meant I couldn’t walk around for fresh air and that my folks were eating lunch out of home.

Theresa and I went walking for lunch and she bought be a “grande-sized” Caramel Macchioto. She talked about Nazir being a womanizer because he hit on her too. Then she ranted about being put on “hell” here by “God”. And I told her it’s up to her to deal with her problems because she “agreed” to the contract and lessons to learn while here on earth.

The weather that day was cloudy and cold in the morning. Then at around noontime the skies were crispy, clear and blue! The air was amazingly cool during the initial walk as I saw the SKIN HEAD drive off in his white SUV.

But when someone like me wears warm clothing I got hot under the collar! Literally, I was sweating and had to take off my cotton, mute-green sweater, my aqua, high-neck vest sweater, my acrylic scarf-hat and gloves and the jacket to cool off in the car for 30 minutes.

I wanted to sleep for 45 minutes in the car because I awoke at night around 2:00am and couldn’t sleep until 5:00am. But I had to wash up in the bathroom at ground level prior to returning to work so I won’t stink up the place. Thanks to the fragrant lotion I smelled better and made Steve sneeze!

The whole day was cold but not quite freezing because ice did not form on the rooftops or on my car! I wore my LONG wool jacket, which falls below the knees. It kept my lower extremities warm while I managed to walk only 15 minutes during this morning’s mid-morning break. Just as I was stepping out around 1:00pm today, the smell of rain was in the air! And small raindrops started falling! I rushed to my car and retrieved by LONG wooden umbrella in case the storm would brew. And at around 15:00pm, the storm brewed! The sounds of “cats and dogs” falling could be heard on the rooftop overhead while I slaved away at completing the Q1 backlog, whatever that meant. So thanks to the wool jacket, scarf-hat and gloves, I kept warm en route to my car after work and while my imagination giggled at the flirtatious smirk of the that cute Chicano kid. Damn gorgeous, thug!

Ice formed on the rooftops this morning. That meant the air was freezing! With my scarf-hat and gloves, I kept warm throughout this morning’s mass. Carlos had his usual scowling face as he lighted the two candles of the alter.

Then the mid-morning weather was beautiful! Two large sylphs were over the north eBay campus. Then during my lunch-walk speckles of baby sylphs were somewhere in the distance. The mid-afternoon walk had lots of as high altitude clouds covered the sun.

I was freezing in the that damn “temp job from hell”. The white van for the heating and air conditioning was parked. So I assume they should have fixed their damn heater so we won’t freeze to death! I had been wearing my black leather jacket — a Georgetown brand.

I caught Paw still working outdoors at the patio in the cold and at night! Maw hollered at him to get down from the ladder and get inside because the “night” spirits usually want to have some rest (or so is the saying from the old town). I had to turn off the light from the upstairs switch. He was screwing back the wire mesh, protecting the gutter, which he clear out.

This morning was cloudy. The whole day was freezing. Wait! Sylphs appeared in the crispy, clear blue skies! And then the mid-afternoon skies were clear — so clear that the sunshine actually warmed the upstairs. Maw had plucked around 30 gray hairs from my head. They were wispy and thin. The ones that I had hoped Maw would pluck are the thick ones! Now those are itchy! And I plucked 8 gray hairs from her left eye. No wonder she has been rubbing her left eye! It’s because gray hairs make the affected area itchy!

The whole day was cloudy. And I slept for four hours and awoke 2:35pm. After I awoke, I smelled food lingering upstairs and went downstairs to check out what’s going on. Maw had cooked a big tray of pancit for tonight’s religious event – Santo Nino. Lots of creepy statue were placed for blessing by the priest. And people enjoyed eating the food. The pancit was all gone. The three of us helped put away the metal chairs, remove the white lines for washing, and fold up some tables. It’s all volunteer work and done in my high heels, too!

Anyway, Bully-Boy looked tense. His eyes are wild, apprehensive and wide opened. He held his feathers tight against his body. I don’t know what’s up with that parakeet. Maybe he remembers Pimon, Bugsy and Simon. They are all gone now.

This morning was freezing cold. I stayed over during mass to “venerate” the Holy Sacrament (or Ben’s $4,000.00 REAL golden monstrance of a monster). I couldn’t walk around during this morning’s break for more than five minutes without feeling chilled to the bones.

During lunchtime, the skies still showed gray clouds. I decided to go home for lunch, thinking the overweight Chris and her sister Niki would show up as per her Facebook messages. When I read the word “probably” in her second response, I knew she was one of those who’d speak but won’t act. Maw knew they won’t be coming over even though she bought pizza from Lil Ceasar and bake lasagna for her nieces.

At around 3:00pm, the sunshine decided to come out. The skies are crispy, clear and blue with some brown muck in the distant horizon. Very few, high altitude sylphs came out in fine wispiness. The walk was better.

Today is beautiful. The sun is shing, the skies are clear and blue with sylphs since this monring, the small birds of brown and black crows fly and caw, the brown leaves are crispy and my dandelion roars and its white-flowered ground covers have shown themselves!

My walk was slow for 30 minutes because my left hip and left legs are feeling sore. I tried squeezing my toes prior to walking and that helped.

Yesterday was mostly rainy. Today is better! There are fluffy, puffy clouds of white now! And the sunshine is still hiding behind come clouds! I would take this as a sign that he got my email at around 11:52am. It’s for his birthday. So far I’ve not received an email confirmation as normal business practice for this second transaction either. Usually he is good about responding but because of his computer problem, that’s not my problem.

I just finished removing the Christmas tree decorations and packing those nicely into their respective metal container, which once held cookies and other goodies from the holidays. That’s a good incentive to save these containers. You’ll never know that these could be used as decoration holders! Paw removed the outdoor lighting underneath the gutter and around the front. This year we didn’t put up the other outdoor decorations out front – angels, reindeers, snowpeople, etc. Maw had finished frying up more freshly chopped garlic in lots of vegetable oil, which we use to brush onto breads. We will oven dry those into hard “cookie” snacks of either biscotti or garlic bread.

Anyway, tomorrow will be another working day. Hopefully, I will get back into shape and start walking around during my breaks. It was a pleasant seven business day without work and that means I lost, say, around $700.00 of no pay from my “temp job from hell”. I expect the backlog to give me overtime, which I didn’t pursue during last week except JenJen who was asked by the boss to come in. Hehehe!

Funny world, but I really need to keep my wits about me. There is something that I need to do. Maybe I’ll send a quick greeting to the ingrates via Facebook because they were in my dreams.

This morning was temporarily patchy blue skies with some fluffy, puffy clouds of white while I did some yard work: I used the electric blower to clean up the freshly blown eucalyptus leaves of two days now, twigs, branches and other leafy debris off the backyard and front yard, whereupon I saw our VERY first graffiti on the sidewalk near the side gate to MY long stretch of road since the building of this neighborhood over thirty years. It could be magic symbols or something! I may wish to call the city to have them remove this photographic treasure.

The whole day was cloudy and gray. The air was freezing and cold. The winds blew strong and wild. The rains came off and on. Later on this evening, the rain storm would not let up. The air was biting cold and the winds were stronger still.

Yesterday, there were crows sitting on the branches of a fruit tree. They were eating the neighbor’s persimmons. The neighbor later chopped down the branches and placed those on the side street.

I don’t see lots of animals except one small red squirrel making its way across MY road. There were some birds maybe.
